Fantastic experience: Service has changed for the better! 5 years ago we used AeroPets to transport our dog from Hobart to Norfolk Island, never heard from anyone and when we needed them over a weekend, the mobile rang out!! This time (as only carrier to NI that we could find), Michelle was amazing. Emails galore and even rang to check how the vet visits were progressing. And then we even got photos of our dog while being cared for prior to her 2nd flight. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks a heap!!!
Fantastic experience: Aeropets looked after my mature dog, Pauly's long journey from Brisbane to Stockholm in August 2024. I am so grateful that I chose such a reliable and good animal exporter, which made the experience very easy and overall a positive one. Naturally, I did my reseach before making my choice but the final 'tick' for Aeropets came from the export vet that we used. He said to me that after 30 years as an export vet, there were only three exporters that he would use, and Aeropets was one of them. He said that he had a lot of good feedback from their previous work. Aeropets' communication with me was second to none throughout the whole process, and the first time I called them, the lady that I spoke with, sounded an experinced travel agent, not a sales person. This instilled a lot of trust. The process was explained in absolute detail and I never had to wait long if I had any questions. I had contact with a few of the different staff, all in different roles, and they were all so professional and competent. They were calm and reassuring and I never felt like a number or that Pauly was 'just a dog'. I was amazed how unphased Pauly was by his long journey. I can recommend having the crate sent to you in advance, so that you can practice using it. We had it for a whole month and Pauly was very comfortable with it by the time it was time to fly. I was so nervous picking him up at the airport in Stockholm but again, I had received so much good information from Aeropets, that I knew where to go and what to expect. All very straight forward. You can imagine my relief when the crate was brought to me and Pauly was bouncy and so happy to see me. No stiffness, no signs of anxiety whatsoever! And once he had had his dinner, he wanted a cuddle and a walk. Just like at home. What had involved so much planning and preparation as well as a fair bit of stress, was made so easy by the professional and caring guidance of Aeropets. I couldn't recommend them more strongly. They know what they do and they have all the patience in the world, looking after a nervy customer like me! I wish them all the vert best in the future and will use them again, if I travel with pets around the world.

Negative experience: Unhappy with the service provided! Started off with an incorrect quote provided to then picking up my poor cat who was soaking wet and extremely anxious due to awful care provided. Would not recommend this company if you wish for your pet to be treated carefully. Disappointed.
Fantastic experience: Thank you Aeropets for helping me bring my 2 fur babies from Adelaide to the UAE. Even though it was a stressful journey , Michelle made everything seem easy . She was excellent throughout the process. She clearly understands how stressful this entire process can be and she is always nice and helpful. Communication with her was excellent. Their total cost was also significantly lower than other well known companies which is another plus. Would definitely use their services again and I recommend to anyone .

Fantastic experience: Very good experience, from quoting to delivering my dog Gaïa from Melbourne to Paris. Laura and the team were amazing, I include the young lady in Tullamarine who took her in the first place - sorry I did not ask the name !! - their love for pets it’s not faked that’s for sure ! Got updates of Gaia’s journey which was of course reinsuring. I did have some fears when I started to benchmark the different companies and AeroPets were the cheapest, but eventually I could have not expected a better service (except if you can find one company who manages to bring my dog in from Australia to France in Business Class ahah !)

Fantastic experience: I live in Victoria and whenever I visit my parents in Western Australia, Ripley the bichon frise comes along - mostly because "Grandpa" would rather spend time with her than with us. She has taken 7 flights with Aeropets and she is only 3 years old! Every time Aeropets are brilliant to deal with. The service is smooth, they take great care of Ripley, they are kind to her, and she always has plenty of water. Ripley flies Virgin as the cost to fly Qantas cargo is crazy expensive compared to Virgin. My previous dogs also flew with Aeropets and always excellent service.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely faultless service from first contact booking in, to receiving my pup after transport from Darwin to Brisbane. Lolly was obviously well cared for in transit and shook off the whole trip with ease and was back to her perky self as soon as she got home. Negative experience: Unfortunately it didn't strike me as trustworthy almost immediately. After reading quote I've received for Adelaide to Europe transport I had some questions, in the meantime I've decided to change the destination to Singapore and travel with my cat in cabin from there all the way to Europe. I've explained that if I choose their service I need 100% assurance that my cat will be at the Singapore Airport on the day of my 8h layover. Reading answers to my questions along with my new quote raised even more questions as the information provided in emails vs quote docs were contradicting one another. Some of my questions have been avoided and never answered. I believe transparency with service like this is a must and that definitely wasn't the case here. I understand it's a business but providing information that don't match the actual DAFF export requirements just for sake of earning few hundreds dollars extra isn't cool. And what was more important to me, was the fact that my cat would have to be locked at some facility for 2 extra days. I definitely had a feeling that I will end up being stranded in Singapore as I won't have everything and my 8h layover there wouldn't be enough to get it sorted and the feeling was 100% justified. In email I've been told by Susan that "We can only provide documents to clear Mia into Singapore, Anything beyond that destination will be your responsibility" yet on the quote documents import permit isn't included. I've reached out to relevant institutions in Singapore do find out what will I need to collect her at the airport and fly her out. Amongst list of documents was the import permit ( for collection at Singapore Airport) Not having that would have meant that she can't be even offloaded off of the plane and needed to be returned to Australia, and I'm guessing I would be the one to cover the costs! That clearly isn't " providing documents to clear Mia into Singapore " so I asked why the import permit was included in Europe quote yet isn't in this one. Answer: you don't need it for Europe ( I already knew that, but simply wanted to see what they say) and for Singapore you can do it yourself! Next quote was close to $2k exta for a $50 permit as they hire an agent in Singapore to do it for them! Please read everything what they send you very carefully, ask questions and do your own research before you decide to go ahead with the " professionals". If I haven't done all of the above it would have ended with a pet parent worse nightmare! Not knowing where my fur baby is, how long I'm not going to see her and how get her back! Dear Management , please don't bother responding with your copy and paste explanations as to what has occurred. I've read every response on here and all I can see is excuses and blaming others. I'm not the only one who sees your incompetence so it must be a thing.
Hi Inga, We're sorry you did not value our quote. We are a small business and gainfully employ a small, experienced team who've assisted thousands of customers over 13 years of operation. Each of these customers have placed their trust in the team to provide the relocation needs of their beloved pets. For our services the international health certificate and export documentation must coincide with your final destination or the destination in which the animal clears customs. If a pet is shipped to Singapore as manifested cargo, it is not possible for it to be moved freely to the international terminal for departures without being cleared into the country. For this, an import or transit permit would be required. Ultimately, the route and service arrangement that you proposed for your cat to be shipped to Europe is very atypical. Furthermore, we were explicit in advising a transhipment – which is what you’re attempting – is not within our service offerings. As we’re Australian based only, we’re unable to directly assist in booking your cat for in-cabin transport commencing in Singapore. When you changed your destination and requested a quote to Singapore, this is taken at face-value. Therefore, you were issued with a quote terminating in Singapore, minus the cost of permits and clearance. As a service-based business, we don’t provide quotes with the presumption of any outside factors or plans. The updated quote you requested to include the required services in Singapore accounted for permits, customs clearance, and associated airline landing fees, not simply the import permit. There is no obligation for you to accept ANY of the quotations provided, however it is very presumptuous to suggest the costs and associated fees are for frivolity and without legitimate reason. Thanks for the opportunity to provide you with the quotations as they were requested, however we’ll decline providing any services for your pet to travel overseas. - Aeropets Management

Fantastic experience: I just want to thank everyone at Aeropets who looked after Sam our silly JRT puppy (who we love so much) when we needed to relocate from Tamworth to Melbourne. Julia who processed his flight and Pick up time which matched our moving date and was always available. Lauren who was available for any after hours concerns particularly when our Uber driver was late to collect us from the airport, Tony from Tamworth who reassured us about Sam’s trip he was an amazing and caring driver and Ryan who was so patient and kind who waited for our arrival at our hotel. Fantastic experience: We moved our baby - Cat from Perth to Cairns. We dropped him off at the airport to go on the same plane as us. He was greeted by friendly staff who called him by his name and said they would look after him. We saw him being loaded onto the plane. When we arrived to collect he was waiting for us and seemed relaxed and not stressed and soon settled into his new life in Cairns. Thank you AeroPets. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Although the staff (Kids) were always pleasant there was Absolutely NO follow up or communication, lip service only. In all fairness I was told that their agent in Port Macquarie was not communicating with them. This was an extremely stressful time for me as I had no idea if my Cat would even turn up in Melbourne . To top it off the Port Macquarie Agent did not supply a cage & I wasn't informed until I paid up. Then & only then did I get the paperwork. I had to ring around the petshops to get a proper cage yet another $150 & ask a neighbour to pick it up and deliver it to the cattery in time for the flight. I was travelling at the time. All in All a horrible few days I just hope my beautiful cat doesn't have anxiety issues for the rest of his nine lives. No I would never use this company again!!Sorry kids

We're advised your cat was originally quoted as having their "own" crate and when finalizing the booking it was communicated that this was not the case. We're advised you were aware the team explored a number of avenues to source an appropriate crate, however unfortunately this can often been challenging in regional ports with minimal notice. Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Emma, Olivia and the team in Sydney enough for the care and attention they showed our family during our relocation from Brisbane to California. Needless to say our moved to Australia was quite difficult in the midst of COVID. For this reason, I feared the worst when relocating our dog (Timber) & cat (Frankie) back to the states. Emma was beyond helpful and compassionate throughout the entirety of the process. When it comes to our girls, it goes without saying that we have incredibly high standards for their safety and comfort. Emma and the team in Sydney did not disappoint. We were inundated with pictures and updates throughout the entire process. It was clear that everyone that interacted with the girls treated them as if they were their own. A brief aside to our wonderful experience was our encounter with Kalinga Park Veterinary Surgery, whom AeroPets arranged to finalize our safe for flight paperwork. I’ll be writing a separate review for this absolutely horrible vet clinic and their lead male vet. Despite this unacceptable interaction, Emma was incredibly proactive in her remediation of the incident. I do not hold this encounter against her or the team at AeroPets as they are unaffiliated; however, Emma has assured me that she has escalated the situation to AeroPets management. I hope this is the case and that they will no longer be working in conjunction with a veterinary clinic that clearly employees individuals that do not care about the health and comfort of living creatures so near and dear to our hearts. In this line of business, there’s absolutely no excuse. With that being said, this situation was a minor distraction from our overall experience. I happily give credit for a virtually seamless experience and I’m appreciative of the quick remediation that took place due to factors outside of the teams control. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend these guys! Best price and best service. I was really nervous about flying with my cat but the staff made the process very easy and comfortable. They answered all my many questions and were extremely patient with me. They gave me a courtesy call the night before the flight and also a follow up call after flight. Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Sent my kitten to the wrong airport and didn't bother to call and tell me. I had to do a four hour round trip on a Sunday night to collect her. She had been waiting since 12pm to be collected but I was unable to get there. All they had to do was call and I would have been there when she arrived. No follow up call, no apology call. Absolutely terrible service.

Fantastic experience: One of the best experience i ever had in customer care , feedback and response on time bringing a puppy dog from Diamond Creek, Melbourne to Hobart , Tasmania . Pick up and drop off time was excellent . A phone call to pick up address and drop off address before the driver arrived was best . I saved a lot of time and thank you to aeropets to do a fantastic job.

Negative experience: Had initially booked with aeropets in Dec 2023 to fly my cat internationally - after being stuffed around with lack of updates, poor communication, i had requested for the booking to be cancelled and refunded, which at that point Aeropets had agreed to. 4 months later, despite multiple emails and phone calls I have made to Aeropets, I have received no replies, excuses on phone calls, and yet to receive the refund of my deposit. Honestly not worth the stress and time booking with this company.

Negative experience: Totally disgusting!!’ My nephew moving from Aus to UK loses his dog. Taken from a crate NOT in a confined area Bad bad bad AeroPets you should be ashamed. Never ever use this company. I hope the handler is out of a job
Fantastic experience: I have used their service twice now and both times they have written up multiple quotes for me searching for the best price and least stressful options, both Eve and Tim on staff were very professional and helpful throughout the ordeals and I will be using their service again.
Negative experience: Due to the nature of our work, our dogs unfortunately do have to fly frequently. However, this time we had significant problems with Aeropets. Using their website, we enquired about a quote for our 3 dogs to fly on the 26th Feb 2024. Because they didn't have our dog breed on the list, we have had to phone Aeropets inform them of this. We were even told that there was a flight on the 26th Feb but nothing for the rest of the week (which suited us perfectly). Because of this, and our previous experience with them, we trusted Aeropets since they have mentioned the above. We were also due to fly on the same flight as the dogs. On the day of flight, when we arrived at cargo, we were told our dogs were not due to fly until the 28th Feb 2024 (AT NO POINT DID AEROPETS CONTACT US (AS A COURTESY) TO STATE THAT THE DOGS WERE BOOKED FOR THE 28th FEB INSTEAD of THE DATE WE WANTED - 26th FEB DESPITE OUR PHONE CALL WITH THEM, THEY JUST WENT AHEAD WITH WHATEVER DATES SUITED THEM). The cargo staff told us that the flight was empty and for us to contact Aeropets to make adjustments to allow the dogs to fly. So we contacted Aeropets immediately to have this rectified. Julia from Aeropets took the call, but was initially reluctant to help us. Instead, she asked us what we wanted her to do - which was obvious - to get our dogs on the flight they were meant to be on. After 15 minutes of argument, she then decided to finally contact their agent and cargo, which by then was 45 minutes down the track and the flight had to be closed - which still meant the dogs failed to make the flight. Costing us inconvenience because we are travelling for work and had to trouble friends to immediately get to the airport to collect the dogs, otherwise we would miss our own same flight as well! Compared to other agents such as (Moorholme Pet Transport) who would list dates and times in their email heading and email content and in their invoice. Aeropets have no dates listed in their invoice or email. Only in the booking confirmation attachment. And definitely no courtesy call to let you know if they can't book your dogs on the date you wanted and enquire if a different date was suitable! This definitely isn't stress free travel as promised by Aeropets! Furthermore, when the Julia from Aeropets promised to give us a call back, there was no call from her 2 hours post the promised time - again supporting that RELIABILITY isn't something Aeropets has. All we got from Aeropets was that it was OUR fault not checking the booking confirmation, which was the only information that had the confirmed flight date on it. Aeropets felt that they were not at fault and shirk all responsibility - instead blaming it ALL on us. We are not completely saying we are completely not at fault, but who would expect an agent to book a different flight date without checking it first with their clients No courtesy call from them, no initiative whatsoever! We then had to organise again for the dogs to fly on the 28th Feb (and for us, this means taking time off work to pick up the dogs from the airport). On the 28th Feb when the dogs were lodged, the crates were not delivered to cargo - hence issues with boarding them! How did Aeropets not get things right after the first big blunder?!?! We would definitely reconsider booking further flights with Aeropets from now onwards - Especially if you want a STRESS FREE travel. Reliability definitely isn't something Aeropets have! Negative experience: For your mental health and sanity DO NOT USE this company!! My partner and I enquired and were quoted to take our cat overseas to Dubai as we were relocating. Initially they were quick to respond and provide a quote - we emailed to accept and proceed - which then they told us the amount had doubled. We emailed them several times to get a price break down - no response. We called several times but kept being handballed to the next person - which they promised to call but never did - this went on for some weeks before someone got back to us and not really even provide us with a real answer. As we were doing a million things as part of the relocation - we agreed to their higher price and made a deposit payment to secure the booking, we left for Dubai - we heard nothing further from them for quiet sometime and decided to follow up - what a nightmare that was- no one returns calls or responds to emails - we had to phone from overseas several times to be promised that so and so would call back - eventually they got back to us after persisting - and were advised that the price had Increased yet again. it increased by more than 2K, We told them we paid the deposit to secure the quote and booking. They told us that flight fees had increased - we told them that we had an agreement based on paying a deposit. that the quoted amount is what would be honored as we were mid process. They didn't seem to care and said sorry that's the new amount now. If not, happy we can refund the deposit - the issue at this stage, was we had invested so much time and energy and thought that we had sorted out the relocation only to now start again with finding and arranging a new pet trave company. very stressful. It felt like a joke - and when asked to provide us with the terms and conditions - they promised to send them through but ever did - just an email to say that this is what we spoke about. we asked again for terms and conditions - and never heard back. There was absolutely nothing professional about dealing with this company - who are unreliable, uncontactable and have staff who do not seem to care one bit. They lack empathy and accountability. They left us high and dry despite knowing that relocating countries is very challenging and stressful task - and they could of actually provided a service to help make it a bit easier. Definitely suggest skipping this company if you don't have hours and hours to waste chasing things up and never really getting any answers.

Negative experience: When I called to check flight times with an Aeropets staff member I was told there we Non-after hours flights available so I made my booking request immediately. I was then stuffed around for a full week. I made several phone calls. My emails unanswered and incompetent staff not being able to tell me why I haven’t been given details yet and even sent an email meant for someone else transporting to a different state. A week later they have no flights and want an extra $220!! I don’t have that extra money and now have to try and re-home my sons cat. I also wouldn’t trust their incompetent staff to send the cat to the right address or state anyway.

Negative experience: I am really grateful for my dog arrived safely and health. However the company didn't give the right informations about the whole process. My dog was travelling to Brazil, I was told to book my trip within 5 days of my pet arrives otherwise she wouldbe considered as Importation Dog and the price would be higher to the original one. I have done exactly what they asked. However, to fill it up the forms, I was oriented to write down my mum as destinatary, when the correct it was write down myself as destinatary and issue a letter of attorney to my mum pick my dog up. In conclusion my dog was considered as Importation and I had to pay an extra Fee to take her out from the Airport. I talked with the person who was looking after my dog transportation and he answered he wasn't responsible for any "Extra fee", however in this case the fee was charged because I was oriented totally wrong. I'm going to do a claim on the ombudsman due the negligence in my whole process.

Negative experience: Up front - our pets arrived alive from international travel - for that we are thankful. Not much of a positive experience past that during transit. They did a good job with ensuring all paperwork was processed (would think that is a basic expectation) but were about as hands off as possible as soon as pets were put on the plane in Brisbane. I had to follow up with Qatar airlines to find out that they flight had changed by 12+ hours from what we were told, absorbent bedding promised for pets kennels was not present for second flight, pets were kept in kennels in near freezing temperature (Whippets - NOT GOOD) in DC for 2+ hours on arrival with no blankets to keep them warm, the coats we provided were not on the animals, no pick-up instructions were delivered by airline or aeropets - we had to do all of that work when it was we were told it would given to us. Both pets lost an extreme amount of weight over the 72 hours (roughly) of travel. These issues may not be in aeropets ability to control - but they don't advertise that - and they get paid for the whole service. Not worth the money - especially the fact that they are about as hands off as possible once pets leave Australia. I would NOT recommend using this company if there are other options - but again, the dogs didn't die. I don't believe that they deliver what they advertise. If we had realized how easy it was to ship a pet via air cargo, we would have saved thousands. Highly recommend looking at other companies or DIY first.

Fantastic experience: Third time using AeroPets and so happy with the customer service and the ease of booking my sweet chihuahua Hugo. Hugo flys around Australia to be in commercials and theatre shows regularly and he absolutely recommends AeroPets! (No paid endorsements yet haha ) I can quickly book Hugo into the same flight as me within minutes. I know I can trust these guys to look after Hugo and all the admin side of things so we can focus on getting to each job without stress. Hugo arrives with minimal stress however I can’t wait til Australia allows us to take our animals on board in cabin!

Negative experience: Overall they got our dog to Canada safely . The process we went through with aeropets could certainly use some fine tuning though , to put it mildly. The quoted and agreed price jumped around without explanation, when I went to drop out dog at the airport someone had forgotten to order a crate for him . The person handling our case left the company and our transport was only completed because I took urgent steps to contact aeropets. I could go on but it ended up ok .. luckily . Would I use them again? No way .

Negative experience: Did not pick up our dog as agreed, did not have a crate organised, had to cancel and rebook next day, next day pick up was great but in Sydney Charlie was left at the airport when airport staff were ready to leave for the day. they did not know what to do with him so he had to stay in his crate as he is a big dog, we had no after hours contact, he was finally picked up and delivered later than expected. Very stressful for is and our dog. No apologies no contact afterwards - this did happen during covid so no doubt it will make a great excuse.

Fantastic experience: 100% would recommend! Flew our 9yo female Australian Shepherd from Sydney to Vancouver on a tight timeline. The Aeropets team were prompt, responsive and proactive. Fantastic experience: Aeropets customer service was absolutely outstanding! I can not speak highly enough of this company. They flew my dog from regional WA to Perth. Virgin cancelled the flight (my dog and I were both on the same flight) and Aeropets made contact with me to reschedule, before virgin even contacted me about my flight. They went over and beyond with very short notice to ensure my pet was on a flight and well looked after. Honestly the best customer service I have experienced with any company in a very long time! I will definitely be using this company again to transport my dog.

Positive experience: Aeropets, has got my dog safe from Cairns to Vancouver. It was nice not having to worry about the paper work into Canada. Karla, has been super helpful, friendly and pretty responsive. However at the start, I was with another agent, who went on holiday, quit or got fired. Either way she was no longer there, but it took me 3 weeks to get set up with a new agent, which was really frustrating. Whenever I called, a lady named Jess answered. Jess was friendly but never really helpful. She said she would find me a new agent, but wouldn’t hear anything from anyone. I felt like I was always calling in and checking in. One day the manager answered and found me a new agent in like 10-20 minutes. The manager seemed to care and understand my frustration. The only problem I had was with Jess. I did get to visit Pip in Brisbane, and take her out for walks and lunch. I was happy that I was able to arrange that with Karla and Hayden. Thank you Karla, again for being so responsive and friendly.

It was most stressful part of my move with organising my dog Aeropets ask for “ Julia “ I think I called her 15 times over 5days , Julia is so amazing she stayed with me through the whole process took all the stress away on every call , came up with back up plans on back up plan, I will only use Aeropets when travelling and will request for Julia because she actually really does care. Fantastic experience: Wonderful stress free pick for my 2 cats from Pt Elliot SA Harry's Inn Cattery to mackay airport then delivered to Cattery at homebush Qld. Worth the money even though expensive, i was put at ease with the we hole process. We had to drive up with 1 cat that wasn't well enough to fly that took 3 days and i would rather he flew up with the other 2 cats even though he was well behaved by car. Great service took the pressure off of an interstate move. Wonderful service. Thanks for everything.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this company....I organised a flight for my new puppy, but they didn't contact me even just once after I got a confirmation email about booking...so I couldn't get any updates if the dog breeder had dropped her off at the airport as planned or the flight was on time. The AeroPets website says they are available for contact 24/7 if we need immediate assistance, but they did not answer at all, they did not even send me back a text message. If you are looking for a company for shipping your pet, you might have to find another company.

Therefore, we're not always able to provide updates for all of our bookings as they proceed in real time. Checking our call logs, I can see you attempted to contact the office at approximately 8:20PM on the evening of your booking. Unfortunately, our office would have been closed at this time. Our phone system does allow you to leave a voicemail or be transferred directly to our after hours contact for these circumstances. Checking our after hours call log, we did not receive any calls on this date. Fantastic experience: The lady's who helped me were wonderful, friendly & super helpful. The whole experience was seamless. I suffer from anxiety & as i had 4 pets to go was rather anxious but it all happened like clockwork. Thankyou aeropets will definately reccomend you.

Fantastic experience: Aeropets Animal Transport were awesome, they handled our Hamish (Russian Blue) trip from Queanbeyan to Brisbane like he was theirs. I can’t speak in higher regard for the care and attention to detail with all the travel arrangements. We will definitely use them again when the need arises and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Positive experience: Very smooth experience. My pet arrived exactly when they said he would. Only thing i had trouble with was getting the ball rolling, took just under a month to get it all sorted (that being said, it was very short notice), but other than that there is no complaints here!

Negative experience: EDIT: I had responded to aeropets to tell them I would be leaving this review following the emails regarding the missing rabies certificates, they did not reply to me. Again Tom’s response below shows an absolute lack of care for their customers and only a care about preserving what little image they have left. The level of customer care for the amount of money spent was non-existent. It continues on with this review. You have my contact details Tom. I have no obligation to reach out to you. Everything was fine up until our assigned agent Ashlee left the company. We were exporting 4 pets from Australia to the USA with aeropets help on 25/1/23. However our final destination was Costa Rica which we were coordinating ourselves. Leading up to Christmas communication from Ashlee ceased and we didn’t hear back from aeropets at all until WE followed up with a phone call to be told three weeks out that Ashlee had left. They did not contact us prior to let us know. During this time we had sent multiple emails asking for clarification on crates and other items. With our dates quickly approaching this meant that we wasted money on trying to sort out appropriate crates and had to take extra time off work to remedy issues that should’ve been resolved much earlier had we received any communication back. During this phone call Faith was rude, unapologetic, did not take any accountability for the fact that they’ve failed to contact us. Further phone calls with Faith received the same attitude that WE should’ve called THEM earlier. Noting that we paid approximately $12k AUD for their “services”. When I arrived to the kennels where they were to boarded in Brisbane aeropets had told them the wrong dates (that we were dropping them off on 23/1 not the 22/1 as I had requested). Luckily the kennels were able to accommodate us and update the booking. We then heard nothing from aeropets about whether the lodgement to the flight went okay or if they had arrived safely. Absolute radio silence. When we arrived in LA and were going through the original documents for the next leg to Costa Rica that we realised the rabies certificates were gone. Aeropets had assured us that the original documents would be passed onto the USA company on arrival. When we emailed aeropets they responded saying to follow it up with the company who organised collection through customs in USA. We had already done so, who were extremely helpful in guiding us through regulations and explaining that copies would be okay (which we had). This unhelpful email was then followed up with several emails that they would follow it up with Qantas and reached out to the USA company who repeated the same to them. Overall, dealing with aeropets was the most stressful experience of my life. This move was not small and they made it an even more mammoth task for us. Do not book with them, you will be in constant fear of your pets welfare. Completely incompetent and should not be in business.

Positive experience: All went well. Wasn't told about the extra stop the dogs had to do. Photos from the over night stay was a nice surprise. If I need to send my dog on a plane I would use these guys for sure.

Fantastic experience: I moved my dog and 2 cats from Brisbane to Geraldton. The Aeropet team (specifically Lucy & Phoebe) were transparent and accommodating throughout the whole process. Pets arrived safe, healthy & secure. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone planning a long haul relocation.

Negative experience: Had a puppy booked in to fly at 9.30am direct from Melbourne to Darwin on the 20/1/2023. Drove 3.5/4 hours from Bairnsdale to the Melbourne drop off point near the airport(we left around 2am) Dropped puppy off just after 7am with no troubles etc) Five minutes past 9 we get a phone call to say puppy has made a mess in his crate and that we need to pick him up and keep him to the next flight at 5pm. Are you serious I asked as I'm well and truly 2 hours away now and getting close to home. So these guys that were paid around $1250 to get the puppy to Darwin on a non stop flight have now called and asked us to collect him(not happy is an understatement). They did offer that they could get some one to pick the puppy up and take care of him until the next flight at a cost of $120(which we did). They guaranteed us that the puppy would defiantly be on the pm flight and there would be no further problem as they would have some one at the airport and also at Adelaide airport(yes his new flight had a lay over in Adelaide)Again not happy and why didnt they have some one taking care of animals at Melbourne as im sure many many pups and old dogs and other animals would make a mess in there crate before flights and while in flight. Long story short pup makes it to Adelaide.then they have delay after delay. Aero pets do update the new puppies family but also inform them that if the pup makes a mess in the crate the will be up for a $350 dollar fee (absolutely shocking) Puppy eventualy gets to his new family in Darwin after 3am the following day. Worst experience we have ever had with an animal transport company and will never ever use these guys again.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank you for bringing our puppy safely and without fuss from new south wales to Hobart. Arranging anything over the Christmas holidays is always so much harder but you all made the road transport and flight so much easier. Highly recommend aeropets for all your animal transport. Negative experience: Aeropets, never again!! I've waited over two hours here at the airport to no avail yet. The airline staff are to busy but I guarantee that's not your fault either. Don't take on a service without providing one. You should have designated staff for collection. This is appalling. You're a bunch of thieves what youve charged versus what the airline used to charge directly. I'll never use your service again. To actually think your doing a good job is delusional

Fantastic experience: Great service! Aeropets helped us to relocate our new puppy from Brisbane to Honiara, the whole process was professional and smooth, they responded all questions very fast and efficiently. Our puppy was well cared during the one night boarding, came nice and clean. The price was fair since the puppy was quite heavy, half of the amount went to flight ticket. Fantastic experience: Faith and the Aeropets team supported us and my 250,000 questions in relocating our beautiful dog Herbie to Spain. Negative experience: Update: Aeropets have now offered to honour their quote - but only if I delete this review. After planning my move around a "quote" I received a last minute notice that the quote would not be honoured and I needed to pay 70% more.
Fantastic experience: Aeropets were wonderful to work with. We had a bit of a problem with red tape and changing bio requirements. They went above and beyond to ensure all goals were met and now Zeus our little 12 week old Jack Russell is happy in his fur-ever home. Fantastic experience: Aeropets were amazing. They arranged everything, they picked up my pet, made sure he was comfortable, and got him to his new home in South Korea safely. There were no issues with transport or collection at either end. Thank you Aeropets!
Negative experience: I didn't even get to the point of booking with them as the customer service on the phone was so bad that I didn't feel comfortable using their service. In answer to my questions about dates and airlines they used, I was told pay the deposit and I'll find out. They couldn't get off the phone quick enough and seemed very unprofessional in dealing with potential customers. I thought I might just have caught someone on an off day but I spoke to three different people in the end. We went with a different company who were more responsive, helpful and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Jess at Aeropets was so helpful. Our booked flight was delayed which meant our dog would miss her connection in Sydney. Jess did everything to get her onto another flight. The staff at the airport were we dropped her off were careing and friendly.Bella arrived in Brisbane safe and sound
Negative experience: Imported dog to NZ from Melbourne, when dog was inspected at NZ customs not all details of microchipping, and vaccinations were provided which delayed the release of dog 4 hour + wait , dog nearly ended up in quarantine, end result the person clearing the dog actually had a contact in Australia who could provide the information, he did mention that it’s the agencies at fault as it’s their job paid by customer to ensure all paperwork provided is correct!!!! AEROPETS ffs …. Never again
Negative experience: My ex-partner was arranging for his cat to be taken down to him. They cancelled the booking a couple of days before, which was annoying but the WORST part was they sent me an email with all of his credit card information in it. I wouldn't use it, but imagine if I was a bitter ex or a stranger! He called them immediately to discuss this HUGE data breach, but was fobbed off and eventually hung up on. I would NEVER use this company again, it's not worth the risk.
Fantastic experience: Exceptional service with understanding and patient staff who were fantastic in relocation of a 10 week old pup from MLB to PER. They were the cheapest and the best. Arranging everything with meticulous detail. Their efforts made 2 children very happy.
Fantastic experience: My dog Paddy arrived safe and sound in Sweden after travelling all the way from Australia - he was my happy boy instantly so he clearly had a relatively easy journey. I also had a lot of communication from my agent which was so helpful as I was super nervous! I would definitely recommend Aeropets for relocating your fur babies.
Fantastic experience: Aeropets helped us relocate our dog Ollie from Townsville to Melbourne recently. We were very worried how this would all happen and the stress on our 8 month old baby. Aeropets were great in assisting us with all of the arrangements and deal with our endless questions. All the staff were very helpful. On the day everything went extremely smoothly and the staff at the airports were fantastic. Ollie arrived safely, on time and happy after 9 hours of travelling. Initially this was a very stressful event to organise, but aeropets made it easy and helped us every step of the way. I would definately use Aeropets to transport a family member again!!
Negative experience: Terrible experience was told my lovely old cat couldn't have her mat and and her blanket in there, had to choose only one, no toys allowed, they made a big deal about her medication coming with her and were not allowed to include her expensive Feliway spray - my mum had been looking after her for a month while we settled interstate so we needed these items to come with her. We saw other pet companies at the airport had allowed toys etc which they just attach onto the top of the cage, so why couldn't Aeropets do the same? Also the communication was awful, when you book the flight, they only email the recipient, not the sender of the pet, who also of course need the flight details. Seriously guys you have one job - kindly and efficiently get pets from one place to another!
