RAA Shop – West Lakes

Negative experience: I went to RAA west lakes shop today and waited for around 15 mins for the service. The staff who sit at the front was very impolite and impatient when she talked to me. I tried to discuss with her about adjusting my current insurance. She asked me “so what do you want to do?” The way she talked is very rude and unprofessional. I feel like she doesn’t want to provide any service and just wants me quickly leave. As a loyal customer with RAA insurance for around 10 years, I’m truly disappointed about their customer service. It is time to move on to other insurance companies.

Fantastic experience: Magnus was super efficient, caring and professional throughout the visit.

Fantastic experience: Informative and helpful staff. Provided good ideas regarding travel based on our needs. Dealt with Hayley, who was fantastic.

Negative experience: Thought they were great to start with but lack of communication and misleading information!! Better to book yourself. We have 3 on our booking flying international all seated separately throughout the plane. Be careful.

Negative experience: “Shocking “ The flight ticket for the trip home from Coron … an island in the Philippines was booked 12hrs too late to connect to flights home.. In discussion it came apparent to me … the RAA company had done their part of the deal. When explained the RAA policy , I had signed the document for me to take the full responsibility… mistakes included. The outcome I had to buy another 4 flights to get home. Beware

Fantastic experience: This review is specifically to do with Magnus's professionalism and customer service excellence at the West Lakes branch. Unfortunately RAA's disparate IT systems meant that after processing an online quote for Home & Contents insurance, I couldn't pay online. I went into West Lakes and was greeted by Magnus who ushered me into their area, and was more than happy to understand the situation and walk me through the process, which meant going through the whole thing again (legacy systems). Despite laughing off the all-too-common inconvenience, Magnus quickly rebuilt and processed quote, also while fielding all related queries, providing additional assistance throughout. It was a pleasure to have an excellent experience at the West Lakes branch, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Magnus' services - although I hope a glowing review doesn't mean I have to wait in line to interact with them in the future!

Positive experience: Alexandra she has been excellent so far

Negative experience: Spent an hour with Hayley and was clear about what we needed and preferences. The first itinerary received completely ignored the conversations we had and the second was also pretty poor. Have booked the entire trip myself. Waited and waited for follow up itinerary but nothing. Have now booked everything for a four week overseas holiday myself. Pretty useless really.

Fantastic experience: Took less than 10 minutes to pop in and get my international drivers permit at 9:30am on a Thursday. Very helpful staff as well.

Negative experience: I visited this store last Saturday. I was looking at guides,handbooks and calenders. All of a sudden a staff member came and rudely asked "is that all you need" and brought me to the counter and billed. I am shocked. Worst service.

Negative experience: One of the employee, I don't want to mention name was really impolite. I was not happy with the way she deal with us. RAA charges relatively more money than many others. So there customer service should be very nice. No doubt RAA is a very good insurance providing institution, just tell your staff how to be patient with customers.
