Australian Elements Tours and Charters is a small family owned company started by myself, David Moss and my wife Julie. We met in 1994 when Julie was holidaying in Australia from her home in the UK. After a couple of decades living life and travelling the world, we now have 2 amazing children, Jack (4) and Georgia (7 months). I have been involved in tourism in Australia for over 17 years having previously worked as a guide and then within Operations Management with national and international adventure tour travel companies….

Cannot express how well done it was, starting from an extensive wine tasting at Kies Family Wines, followed by a... read more very educational wine tasting at Pindarie including a delicious lunch which lead to a marriage proposal by my beautiful partner outside the Pindarie winery overlooking one of the most breathtaking sights of the Barossa Valley. We enjoyed a great Gin tasting at Seppeltsfield Rd Gin Distillery and to finish the day off we stopped at Greenock Brewery for some thirst quenching beer tastings where we met some extremely lovely (and very funny hosts). Our tour guide was exceptional and not without a great sense of humour and an extensive knowledge on the history of the sites and surrounds of Adelaide. My partner and I took a Port Adelaide Heritage tour offered through a cruise line and really enjoyed it. The tour started at the Torrens Island Quarantine station which, at... read more this point, can only be visited with a tour. The station was a fascinating look into history that I cannot believe more people have the opportunity to see and learn from. Our tour also visited the City of Adelaide clipper ship, another fascinating window into history. From there we had a delicious lunch and went to the Port Adelaide Maritime Museum and lastly we had some free time in Semaphore to absorb some of the local history and shops. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that is interested in history and learning about how the Port of Adelaide came to be, especially as it gave you the wonderful opportunity to see the old Quarantine station! Additionally, David was a wonderful guide with so much knowledge. Growing up in the area, his local perspective added greatly to the tour. Thank you David for such a great day!
This tour is incredible - Such amazing value for your money. Food, wines and the location was just beautiful. Our experience was spoiled by our bus drivers bad... read more attitude. When asked simple questions we were met with snarky remarks that made me and my friends feel very uncomfortable. We asked what time we should meet back in the bus and were told “are you kidding me!?” this and just constant angry/rude remarks. We were seated at the back of the bus and could not hear the driver very well as the speakers were at the very front, so we were chatting amongst ourselves for the duration of the one hour drive. At seppeltsfield's gin distillery we were met by someone with the same bad attitude. When asked which one of the mixers was lemonade she said “can’t you read?”, there was not even a bottle on our table. Just so unnecessarily rude, even people who were not in our group looked put off by that response. Special mention to Kies family wines, Pindarie and Rehn Bier for simply knocking it out of the park with incredible wines, food and service. It’s worth going on the tour just for them and they are what made this still a fun & beautiful day. To the bus driver please deliver your messages with more kindness. You made us uncomfortable and we were celebrating a birthday. Definitely dissapointed as I have toured South Australian wine regions so many times and never have been disrespected like this. If we were treated with more courtesy this would be a five star review and we would've returned. Keep in mind 160AUD a head, there was 7 of us - we paid 1120AUD dollars to be there... I feel that for that much money the least we can get is respect.

Fantastic experience: Thoroughly enjoyed our Red White & Brew tour with Australian Elements Tours. Dave our tour guide kept us entertained while driving around and is very knowledgeable about the Barossa valley area and the wineries, gin distillery and brewery on our tour. Fantastic experience: Our guide, Dave, was very knowledgeable and good for a laugh. He took us to a selection of Australian made and owned Wineries, distilleries, and breweries. The tastings, lunch, and transport was definitely worth the price.

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed a day in the Barossa on the Red White and Brew tour. Dave was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. The day was nice and relaxed, we saw and tasted plenty without being rushed. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant. Dave was informative, friendly and very accomodating. We had a small group and he took us to local family owned wineries. Wine at Kies wines were delicious and then onto Pindarie for more wines and a delicious share plater. Dave checked in With us constantly and we were able to add in a visit to a chocolate shop and Maggie Beers Farm. Fantastic day out!!

Fantastic experience: We were visiting from Perth and had an absolute ball on this tour with Dave as our guide. We went to 2 wineries were there was copious amounts of wine tasting and a delicious grazing board for lunch. After lunch we had a quick stop in Tanunda were we stocked up with lollies at the lolly shop and Dave even managed to fit us in to the chocolate shop. We then continued on to the distillery before the last stop being the brewery (Dave even put up with our karaoke the whole way home). We loved that every tasting was family owned business's, and would highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic experience: We did the Red, White & Brew Barossa tour...Dave was our Coach Captain & we had a fabulous trip...went to smaller family wineries which we enjoyed...also visited a gin distillery & craft beer brewery so there was something for everyone...reckon we'll be back for anotherie

Fantastic experience: We attended the Red White & Brew Barossa tour and what a day we had! The weather was fantastic and our lovely group of 10 had a ball! Dave is a great guide and even better craic! Can't fault the day in any way and would highly recommend! Hopefully will get back for the McLaren vale tour!
Fantastic experience: Our group were visiting from Perth & we only had a day and a half in Adelaide and we couldn’t have chosen a better tour to go on or had a better guide (Dave) to take in all the Barossa had to offer. The wineries we went to in the morning were very generous with their wine tastings, so accomodating and made us feel so so welcome! At our second winery we completed the visit with a grazing board lunch which was very plentiful and left us all rolling out of there! We managed a scenic stop in the gorgeous little town of Tununda and even managed to squeeze a stop into the chocolate factory. We then moved onto the gin distillery and finished up at a brewery which we were lucky enough had a wine tasting going on at the same time so we got to try even more locally produced wine! We had an absolute ball of a a day and couldn’t recommend this tour enough! Thank you so much Dave, if I ever come back to Adelaide I’ll definitely be doing this tour again!

Fantastic experience: I engaged Julie from Australian Elements Tours and Charters to assist me in organising a Brewery tour (similar to a wine tour) in the McLaren Vale region. Julie worked with me to customise a tour for a small group. Julie went above and beyond to incorporate all my requests even facilitating a last-minute change. Which ultimately created an enjoyable and successful day. I was able to customise what was included as often brewery tours do not cover the costs of tasting. Julie was able to provide a package which including tastings. If you are looking for custom tour, outside of what is offered on the website, don’t hesitate in asking Julie, she will go above and beyond to create a custom experience just for you.

Fantastic experience: We had the pleasure of doing the Red White and Brew tour of the Barossa with Neville last Sunday - what a fabulous day! Neville was very informative about the areas and towns we travelled through and was a great guide. The wineries we visited were lovely (our favourite being Pindarie where we had an awesome lunch) and thoroughly enjoyed the gin tasting, chocolate factory and brewery visits as well. Already looking forward to doing another tour with these guys when we next visit South Australia - cannot fault anything. Well done Neville!
