Negative experience: They nice only when you book with them. After that they don’t care. Especially Harpreet their sales consultant. I have booked flight through him. I told him strictly that please do vegetarian meals in my flights. Me and my kids haven’t eaten anything in flights luckily we eaten and and some cup noodles in bags. Not only that my flight got canceled rang Singapore airlines they said there is no flight till next 20 days to go back. They said chcek with your travel agent we can’t do anything. Harpreet said he can’t do anything it’s flights issue. Anyway I told him apply for refund if they can’t allocate me flight for next 20 days. I paid $2000 one way flight back to Australia. I first he said they takes six months to refund it. Now it’s beeen more then a year I haven’t got single dollar May be airlines given them but he didn’t have me single penny. Dodgy people won’t recommend them

Extremely poor customer service and will do everything in their power to obstruct refunds and gouge additional fees for services well above and beyond costs for differences in flights or any airline fees. There are multitudes of better travel agents out there that seek to offer an actual service, rather than just insert themselves as middlemen to extract more money from customers and cause additional stress to unfortunate travellers EDIT: I would also be skeptical of other 5 star reviews from accounts that have only one other review and heap praise on this agency. Concerning for fraudulent astroturfing of reviews, which would be in line with this business's practices.

Negative experience: I had booked by ticket to chennai for the 6th of January to chennai via bangkok by Fortune World Tour, i was not informed that my flight had been cancelled, i had called the airlines casually to confirm if my flights are as per schedule two days before the departure but i was shocked to hear that my flight from Bangkok to chennai had been cancelled and i was not informed about it which is totally unprofessional by fortune world tour, when i told them that i needed a refund they said they can give a credit for a year which i can use the ticket which i was not interested in, i had paid money in full which i expect a full refund because of the disruptions caused by the airline. I had lost my money in cancelling hotel reservations and other domestic travel because of this this disruption. I have also lodged a formal complaint against this travel agent through Fair trading NSW which will soon be investigated Please save your time snd money by not booking through this agent for any travel needs It’s totally disappointing by Fortune travel to treat customers like sh*t, I will no longer use fortune world tours in future, Lesson learnt Sri

Negative experience: Flight got cancelled due to covid restrictions, been waiting for over 1 year to get my refund. After calling and emailing them 10s of times, I have complained to Fair Trading in NSW, Australia. If anyone has a similar problem, please complain to Fair Trading so they take serious action against this company.

Negative experience: Never book tickets from this agency. I faced lot of challenges when my flight got canceled. The airline was happy to refund my money but these crooks told me that the airline is refusing the refund. After fighting for 2 years I got my money back but they have deducted half of the amount and refuse to share any details stating that data is confidential. However the airline told me that they have refunded the complete amount.

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience with the company which promotes as the best customer service experience. I have been provided incorrect advise about my tickets. Further with number of attempts to contact directly and through the external agencies i have no luck with the response from the management. The mark of a good customer service is not when things are going right, but when a customer is in need of help and company stands up with the customer, not abandon them.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional and poor customer service. Charging $150 admin fees per passenger for a date change when there is no airfare difference at all and no such charges with other travel agents. Never book tickets with them. Very dodgy.

Gave them second chance aswell - but atom answering my phone call for refund my deposits . They put us in situation to extend our visa and now they asking for full payment in hours or I have to forget my deposit. Dear Fortune world tour, Again, we are in circle, your communications are not accurate about the situation- I am sure you have all email correspondence , the flight you promised us did not fly - got canceled. You call it Reschedule (which is I am still counting how many times - setting multiple dates on calendar). At times I was happy to fly with booked date but cancellation occur from our end. Given option was not suitable so I am asking my money back. Moreover, suddenly you are giving me few hours notice period to make full payment or deposit will be forfeited is also unacceptable. You are making your rules T&C with holding my money. None of your advertising or T&C was supplied to me at the time of booking saying booking money will not be refunded and forfeited in few hours. I kept business open as-well from my end to consider for future bookings to help community operators, but your response today found completely unprofessional.

Negative experience: ⛔️Beware⛔️ Terrible experience, demand to paid ticket cost full in advance even they don’t have a capacity to operate charter flight, fail to operate the flight twice in a month 6th and 20th Nov while other travel agencies continue operating their charter flight throughout November, do not adjust paid fare with other airlines, totally unethical and lying team, every time call received by new team member and given totally different reason for not operating flight, misleading with false information and not provide the service that committed when took deposit and balanced payment, once got full payment then turn around for service.

Please do not book with Fortune world tour for charter flight to Ahmedabad India, because the keep changing the dates (3 times and the final date 20th December is also going to be changed). Can't claim refund as you have accepted their terms and condition so basically you get stuck.

Negative experience: A very bad customer service. Especially guy name Akshay... Vishal... I booked the ticket and I checked the after few days ticket to make sure everything is okay. Found the ticket was cancelled. Called the airline to check the reasons for cancellation. They said agent done something wrong which they can't fix.. Better call the travel agent.. Called the travel agent to verify what's going on and they showed like have no idea. Disconnect my call couple of times. After few attempts on several days they answered my call and provide me different ticket numbers and PNR no. Fortune World travel agent is not trust worthy. If you think they are cheap in fares and but may be you have to face this kind of situation. Try to book some where else.

I Booked flights on Friday- recieved confirmation and was under belief that this was booked. DAYS later no money had been taken and no communication until I had to follow it up to be told that it was put on hold and now the flights not available because it wasn't processed. DO NOT BOOK with this company- they take days to process your payments so flights go up and they can charge you more. THEN THEY BLAME YOU FOR BOOKING AT 4pm on a FRIDAY like that was so late!! I booked 3 flights at the same time and this PATHETIC company was the only one that wasn't processed. for a company that can be contacts until 11pm 6 days a week- how NO ONE communicated with me. If I had of known I would have booked another flight or given details before the prices jumped!!!! Fantastic experience: Fortune World Tour compared to other travel partners always have cheaper prices, and I have been using their service from last 1 year and its been great to get various discounts on my international travel tickets. Also, their portal is easy to use, and you could sometime get more discounted prices via portal, rather calling their customer support team.

Negative experience: DONT DONT DONT book with them. They are super dodgy. Cancelled my flights in October. Got my refund end of February after tons of emails and ME having to chase it up. Their cancellation rates are absurd. No concept of customer service. They're not cheap, but suggest you pay a little bit extra and get decent, reliable and honest customer service somewhere else. These guys deal with you as if there's a mafia going on and everything is as per their terms. Never again.

Negative experience: Very rude customer service. Talked a person called Harpreet. I called to ask their best price to match for tickets to India, as I got a better price through skyscanner. He called me back with a price lower than earlier but still was more expensive, and asked him again for a better price to which he replied he can't go any lower. So, I bought the tickets through skyscanner on the same day. He called the next day asking if I'm still looking to buy, so I told him I've already bought my tickets from skyscanner. Then he started talking rudely, saying I wasted his time again and again and wouldn't understand my simple price point. I have bought tickets from them in past and received good price and service, so I called them again this time. But I'll not bother again. Very disappointed!

Negative experience: My friend booked ticket and was told that if you wana change the dates we will charge you 100 AUD and he confirmed this on email. When we asked to change the dates was advised to pay 355 AUD per ticket and when enquired why such a differnce he said 150 Admin fee 100 fare differnce and 105 date change penalty. To my surprise i called Thai Airways directly and they said our fee is only AUD 100, we have no other fee and also the fare is the same as per the old date,rest is all the agent fee. One booking refernce number for ticket but charging Admin fee and penalty for both persons on the ticket. Misleading people making their own fare prices , they share the fees and charges and T & C after you make the payment. Not disclosing before you book the ticket No transparency at all , making fool of innocent people. How can you charge Admin fee twice for a ticket. Raising it to Fair Trading, will go legally if requirei wish i could give zero rating

Negative experience: I wish there was a Zero Rating. I have been booking through fortune world for quite sometimes. However, my past 3 interactions with their customer service staff, I found customer service to be abysmal. Agents promise to call you back with a fare for your requested itinerary or providng you with info, but they never get back to you. When you ring them up and enquire, the excuse you hear is their shift was up. I am not sure why this cannot be passed to the other agents in the next shift ??? Today, when I asked to speak to the supervisor or the manager, I was told that they too had left since they finished their shift ?? On top of this, when you call them and you are put on hold, they play this message claiming their fares are the lowest (skyscanner is cheaper !) and that their customer service is the best (if it was, I wouldn't be writng this review :-)). I feel they are cashing on the sentiment that they are from the 'Subcontinent'. Not happy and not giving my business to them.

My call was picked by one of their friendly staff named Prashant and he give reply back. I personally admire his dedication, customer's concern and moreover that urgency and stress. I was having 2 hours, was about to leave to airport when realised that i missed. The way he handled situation was outstanding. First he applied for refund and gave me the best options finally he booked my ticket and provide me boarding pass as well as i was not having much time he advise me to leave ASAP. Negative experience: Be careful, I dont trust them. They appeared to be the same people from Value World Travel - windup company. What they quote and charge are two different fares. They quoted me $837 then once I ready, asked me to pay $1190. Also promotion fares are never available. They collect and can passon your information to third party without your knowledge.

Negative experience: I booked family tickets with Fortune World recently. I specifically informed that I was looking for an airfare for approx $1150-1200. After much negotiation, they offered me airfare of $1250 per adult and $1050 for kids. However the adult airfare was $1300 and kids airfare was only $960 which """I only found out after I printed e-receipts from Airline Website"" I think, In order to attract you they will lower the adult fare but at the same time increase the child fare to compensate for that, which you can only find out after booking and airline website. They offer a round figure total and negotiate on that round figure. I would suggest everyone clearly ask for individual passenger fare breakdown rather than a round figure. I am not leaving any positive or negative feedback, just want everyone to be aware. Just tell the customer what the actual fare is, if the customer does not want that high fare he will not book. If I had known the adult fare was $1300 I would not have booked, simple.

Also, stop sending unsolicited emails which I have never subscribed for. I am a compulsive researcher and I shop around before finalising on one place and these guys never disappoint. Their deals are ALWAYS more competitive and their service is impeccable which makes the whole process very enjoyable. They listen very patiently and provide options proactively which was completely lacking with Best & Less Travel(very disinterested bunch of people esp Burwood branch). Fantastic experience: Planning a romantic trip would have been so difficult I had never assumed. me and my wife were planning a romantic holiday for less than a week last month. Something that would be fun and pocket friendly. One of our common friend suggested Fortune World Tour and asked me to walk to their office. Never had I ever seen such a customer centric staff. I reach without prior appointment at around 1700 hrs. during that time also the staff patiently suggested many packages in details. We lastly finalised 4-night P & O cruise sailing from Sydney in the coming month. initially I though that cruise would be boring. However, it was an amazing Experience beyond expectations. we would be visiting Moreton islands. Initially we were booking an inside stateroom in the lower deck. however, on his suggestion we confirmed ocean view cabin on deck 10. Best part was that it was all inclusive (all meals included) and started and finished in Sydney. No doubt, FWT is one of the best travel agents in Sydney or probably Australia, with finest staff on board. Thanks FWT Team!

Fantastic experience: We used Fortune World Tour. It`s goes to show you can trust your fellow travelers. The car at the hotel for the train station was early, and the driver stayed with us to ensure we got on the train without issue. Very comforting for my first trip to India. We found our driver in Agra without any issue. Our tour guide was a very knowledgeable young man and was very pleasant to be around. The tours went very well and the inside information was terrific. Makes it different than just looking around at buildings. Please know that the way things work is that you will get taken somewhere for shopping. Not just with this tour group, but any tour group. It wasn't a bad thing, I just didn't realize it was coming. So, be prepared. :)

Negative experience: DAY LIGHT ROBBERS I bought an Air India return DEL-SYD ticket from these people for my dad ! Due to his health concerns I requested these people for a date change! I was aware that there was a cost involved! Firstly when I called I was told by Satinder that it would cost me $300 AUD but he said I will give you a $20 discount! I thought of waiting for a day ! Next day I called again and the same person told me that now it will cost me $400 AUD and insisted that he gave me that price to begin with and I didn't hear him properly! He offered a $50 discount and said that the rest of the money was going directly to the airline ! I tried to pay the $350 that night but luckily the transaction didn't go ahead! Then next day I called Air India office in Sydney and got the biggest shock of my life when they advised me that it will only cost me $138 AUD to change the date that I wanted! (Same day Same Airline) I was like What the hell??? That's a difference of over $200 ! So I got the date changed and called Satinder again to ask him why there was such a big difference?? As he told me that it was the airline who was charging me all that ! He came up with a new story and said that they have another agents in the middle and had to pay them the commission! I asked him why is he changing his story now and he still kept giving me the non sense excuses to justify why it's ok for these people to ROB us of our hard earned money ? This group is great at making use of people's circumstances and constantly lying about their unprofessional and unethical way of doing business! Very upset ! Will not recommend any one to use them ! And if you do just make sure you don't have to change the dates through them! Hope this feedback will help them wake up to themselves and not rip people off because we live in western countries and they think money grows on trees for us
