Fantastic experience: This is probably along over due review but Kristy Micallef was awesome, she really took the time to plan out with me my trip to Vanuatu and even gave some solid recommendations. Totally recommend visiting her for your next trip. She is also very attentive and quick to reply to emails, one of the tours had been cancelled and she was quick to advise me and get a refund which I really appreciated.

Negative experience: What a joke. I gave my parents $250 flight centre gift card so they can come to Melbourne from Sydney to visit us. Online store won't allow us to use giftcards online, Force my parents to go in to actual store. At the end they got charged extra $30 each for service fee. I could got same deal for $256 online, My parents end up paying $324 dollars in store, Extra $68 dollars for nothing, Just to use gift card in person which i already paid for. It's not fair consultant charge service fee on top because they are clearly aware of this situation that people cannot use gift cards in online store. This is so ridiculous.. Please @everyone Do yourself a favour buy other gift cards for your loving family. I'll never purchase flight centre gift cards, Never again! 12:30pm @paramatta store with Consultant kristy

Negative experience: I wish I could put -stars on this because its unfair. This woman who served us Mahima Sehgal, never trust her. Gave us misinformation on our flight tickets and gave us a cancelled ticket. So I miss out on my holiday that I’ve planned in advance with my family. But thats not even the worst of it. I don’t mind that I missed out on this but the fact that we have to change all of our plans and all of our bookings thag we did in advance. Costing us more for our trip. A real inconvenience. Although they did give us a refund on the flight tickets and such, its still an inconvenience to all of us and really upsetting.

Airlines have full control of flight time changes and cancellations, and unfortunately this is in no way controlled by Flight Centre. Hi Eric, we've replied to your 2 other reviews on different store locations and will put those details below again for your easy reference; To provide a little more insight - all airlines in the industry have partner airlines, and run what are called "code-share" flights. This may mean, as in your case, you book a Qantas ticket, and may be on either a Qantas plane, or a Jetstar plane, and this is absolutely no ab-normal. If you've booked a Qantas ticket, you should receive the full service, of a full service airline (seat, meal, baggage & entertainment), whereas Jetstar ticket holders will need to purchase these as additional to their ticket. When purchasing a ticket, regardless of airline, it will be noted on your invoice & documentation that the flight may be operated on a partner airline, to ensure this is nice & clear for customers to make an educated decision at the time of booking. Regardless, we apologise you weren't happy with your experience, and we will be sure to channel this feedback as appropriate.

Negative experience: Staff showed no interest to talk, I asked about the flight to Chicago, the staff said it is expensive, nothing in cheap. He shared the price which was $2000-$3000 more than online price, he talked to me less than one minute. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: We stuck in Dubai post horrendous flooding, All flights were cancelled and no one had any answer in Emirate air line! I just flicked a SOS email to Kelly at FC Parramatta and she sorted our next replacement flight easy! We had a nice flight! When you are in a foreign country and you know no one, it’s good to know someone helpful like Kelly miles away at home!

Negative experience: My son (20yo) and his girlfriend went in to book a trip to Europe. The staff were standing around talking, asked where he wanted to go and asked him to come back later. When he said he couldn’t, they told him to book online, that he should know how to do that. There were no other staff in store at that time, nor did it appear as though anyone was attending to urgent work on their computers, just a total lack of interest in serving my son. While he is absolutely capable of booking on line, my son was hoping to use flight centre’s guidance and expertise to make sure he had the best experience overseas and understood what to expect with visas etc. He was also prepared to pay in full that day. Unsure whether this reluctance to help him was due to his age. He has since booked elsewhere. Really disappointed with flight centre - will not return.

Negative experience: I attended this office no less then 4 times and each and every time was met with inefficient service. I also made a cash payment of $30 for a transfer service but later found out the service didn't start tii after our ship left Port. Then I was refused a cash refund stating that they don't have cash on site, yet they gave me $20 change from a $50 note. I was then told I'll have to wait 5 days to get this cash refund back. The manager also wanted to finish her coffee before dealing with this issue. Positive experience: I certainly would not nook another holiday with Flight Centre. I have booked two major destinations holidays of Singapore and Vietnam and nothing ran smoothly. Firstly I had to follow up tickets and our itenary...constant problem after problem with reservations at hotels..The OVERPRICED EXPERIENCES are over the top. Out of a $25000 credit voucher held by Flight Centre they offerred an additional $400 bonus. I Have nearly $6000 left and asked if that amount could be returned to me since they have held funds since covid...oh yes they said but you LOSE your $400...Shame on you Flight Centre... DEFINITELY NO RECOMMENDATION OR FUTURE BOOKINGS FROM ME once I use the balance of MY OWN MONEY. I could plan a far better trip MYSELF.

Fantastic experience: Jayde from flight centre really saved saved us! Having gone through a different agent only to find out we couldn’t travel any further without visa permits into certain countries. I got in contact with jadye from flight centre and she guided us on exactly what to do. She helped us organise flights immediately and we were on first plane out to our main destination dubai. I can’t thank jadye enough! Without Jadye’s help we would of still been stuck in a foreign country without knowing what to do. In future I will only use flight centre for all my travel needs.

Negative experience: Avoid if you can. Quick to sell you a holiday but terrible at responding after the sale. I’m still waiting for a reply to emails from over a week ago. This is not a one-off either - I’ve had to chase and chase our agent Jayde for a response. Also, basic errors were made in the booking process. Booked two transfer cars (and charged us for them) instead of the one we needed. Jayde said that she’d look into it and refund us however have heard nothing since. I also called the urgent assistance line for flight centre while I was overseas but they were zero help. Wasted an hour of my holiday on the phone trying to sort out their mistake and they couldn’t even get a resolution. They also booked some dodgy company for another transfer… the guy wasn’t even a professional driver, just someone with a van who happened to be incredibly rude and didn’t even meet us at the arranged pick up location. I also provided our frequent flyer numbers for the flights however these were not added to our booking meaning that I needed to manually do it afterwards. I would not recommend Flight Centre, Flight Centre Parramatta nor the travel agent Jayde - absolutely zero value delivered above what could have been achieved booking things myself. Only difference is I wouldn’t have made the incredibly basic errors that they did. UPDATE: it’s been 3 months and still no one has reached out or responded to me. Still waiting…

Negative experience: Probably the worst customer experience I’ve ever encountered. The transaction of taking my money for travel was fairly straightforward however getting hold of anyone in the Parramatta branch afterwards was actually impossible. Needed to make a flight modification but phoning through no one answered and this was on no less than 15 attempts. Multiple emails directly to Varsha who sold me my flights and no response. Escalated to the head office. Received a flaccid acknowledgment and no actual outcome. Should have just booked on line without their help. Certainly No aftercare whatsoever. I would highly recommend anyone considering booking anything through Flight Centre Parramatta, reconsider. I’ll never use them again. She is precise, and takes time to explain and go above and beyond on matters like entry requirements, worries and queries and ensures she doesn’t miss anything. Has some wrinkled up paper to put your own name down to book. Also it says 530PM close on website, but then they said nope it's 5PM. Not a good setup, poor.

Once my fiancé and I sat down with Mark Ross, we immediately felt welcome. Negative experience: Our travel agents name is Jayde Berry. Her title is senior team leader. Myself and two of my friends travelled overseas for a month. We are 20 years old and this is the first time travelling without family or go anywhere in Europe. We had a few complications overseas, such as Jayde not providing us with ANY directions to meet a tour group and river cruise in which we had pre-paid for at the Louvre in Paris. We then needed to purchase tickets for the second time, and miss out on the experience that we have paid a significant amount of money for on the river cruise. I have since emailed Jayde about this four times in the period over months and she has NOT ONCE responded. Secondly, one of our flights were cancelled the day before we were due to leave Paris. We were constantly on the phone three at a time trying to call Jayde, emailing her in a stress to get something sorted. Jayde had no communication with us until days after we had already booked new flights for an additional amount by ourselves, and it took my mum going in store to speak to her before she bothered responding to our emails. It has now been 12 weeks and we have not heard from Jayde in regard to this refund more than twice despite being followed up by email 10 times. In her responses she makes it clear that she actually has no idea what she’s doing, because she refers to her “prior communication with us” when there is zero. She also does not give a thorough answer. It is highly disappointing when first time travellers have experiences like this with the person who is meant to be a professional in this case. I understand if the refund hasn’t come in yet, but it is not a small amount of money so when a customer enquires four times with no reply, you can’t help but think that this “professional” is ignoring you.

Negative experience: At the time my appointment was scheduled to start the lady i booked the appointment with walked out (straight past me) to take her lunch brake. I understand that we all need to eat but please do NOT book appointments during your lunch time so that you don't let your customers down. When I did get called by another staff member I was shocked when he told me that the resort I had chosen did not have any availability at the time I needed, when I could clearly see on the website that they did. So I proceeded to ask about the cheapest flights, transfers and some other stop over hotels and was quoted very high prices.. I did a quick search on google and found better flights and hotels for a cheaper price. In the end I went home and booked everything myself and saved roughly $900 by not booking with flight centre. Fantastic experience: I went to flight centre to ask a couple of questions, they were booked out and only accepting booked appointments. However Jasmin came to the front and helped answer all my questions and honestly made my life so easier right before my trip (I asked about travel insurance, visa, money exchange etc) I just want to say her customer service was amazing and she actually went above and beyond answering my questions even though she didn’t really have to as they were booked out. Negative experience: Normally no problem but since booking my latest holiday I have noticed that the store opening hours on their website and even on their own window are no indication to the actual hours. I went in especially to book a holiday and the store opened an hour late with no explanation and only one travel agent to boot. While we waited other customers came in to book and they had to sit and wait for us to finish which was really uncomfortable and felt our service was rushed because of this. Even went in to follow up on paperwork this week as it had not been forwarded as promised and the store was open an hour late again and walking past later in the day was actually closed during business hours. As someone who has just booked with the company, the flippancy of being ‘open’ during business hours is really concerning, especially if an issue arises with my holiday.
