My husband was a pilot for 30+ years and we used to happily arrange our own travel. However, post Covid things are so much more complex; we were introduced to Alice and have relied on her knowledge, experience and professionalism ever since. Not only is she extremely well-travelled, she is willing to share all the tips and tricks of her own experience. Fantastic experience: I walked into Flight Centre at broadway on 27/7/24 and I spoke with Juraj who was incredibly patient with arranging a quote for a multi-city flight. Juraj and the team were also very fast to get back to me with new quotes as I was changing my flight details! Woudl definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Two very disappointing visits. Never again. It seems to be a recurring theme of poor reviews for this branch that staff don't follow up on customer visits. A couple of years ago I made an appointment and went to the shop to discuss my upcoming trip and get some initial information. I left the shop with an assurance I would be contacted soon with options to book. I never heard from them. After booking elsewhere and waiting a couple of weeks my email to the manager was answered with no apology and a brief attempt at an explanation. There was no mention of asking me back in the future with a guarantee that I would be dealt with in a more professional manner. Fast forward to a month ago and it's deja vu. An office visit to give them another chance and discuss this year's trip. The staff seemed keen to help and promised to provide me with options for my flights. I did receive one email that day with a promise to contact me again with the information we had discussed. That was the last I heard from them. I completed an online survey sent out after my visit and rated them as low as I could. I have had no contact from Flight Centre customer service. I expect the pathetic cut and paste response to this review which does nothing to address the obvious issues at this branch. Go elsewhere for your travel needs, search out independent businesses and support them.

Fantastic experience: Alice Fisher could not be more wonderful! For years she has assisted our family with holidays and me and my husband with our work travel. She is incredibly hard working - many times she has assisted us over the weekend and late in the evening. She is always upbeat and happy and it is clear she is passionate about her job. I must say I was impressed when they got me 1300 AUD cheaper option for the same dates (that is for 3 ppl). Truly recommend Alice Fisher! She was outstanding in customer service, finding an awesome deals, giving great tips and tricks on staying options and recommending how to navigate with kids in a busy city.

Fantastic experience: Flight Centre always amazes me with there exceptional service. On my current trip that Flight Centre booked, the night before I had to fly out I got food poisoning. I got to the airport and was way to sick to fly, Tash in 10 minutes had not only booked a local hotel, flights fixed but also choose a hotel with an airport transfer. This service is just one example of many where Flight Centre goes above and beyond with a smile.

Negative experience: Book with flight centre if you’d like to be scammed :) currently in Europe and had to call emergency assistance 4 times in just over a week as none of our train tickets have been sent to us and resulted in emergency assist telling us each time they’d notify the store to send our train tickets asap but we would have to pay out of pocket. Now 4 trains later, over $1000 paid out of pocket and finally getting a response from the store yesterday we were told that despite paying for the trains initially through flight centre that they forgot to ever actually buy our tickets. To take 12 days to tell us they never even had our tickets is ridiculous and now we’ve been told they never included one of the trains in our itinerary that we have to go on in a few days but this whole ordeal has costed so much I’m left with $87 in my account. They have said they’d refund the amount we initially paid with flight centre for the tickets not the price we had to pay due to their mistake but the refund has not even been confirmed as processed and they have emailed asking for $895.80 to buy more tickets so we can get to our next destination but as explained I’m left with $87 after this ordeal and now trapped in a foreign country without any sort of responsibility taken by flight centre. Never book with flight centre once you’ve paid they couldn’t care less about you it’s a complete scam that’s ruined a holiday we’ve been saving up for since before covid. Wish I could give 0 stars to flight centre Broadway

Negative experience: Awful customer service. A friend and I planned and booked our dream holiday to Europe which we had been saving up for since the start of Covid-19. After prepaying for all transport and accommodation, upon our arrival we discovered, despite paying for our transport, the agent never actually booked them. We called multiple times to receive tickets and resolve the issue , 13 days later, nothing has been resolved. We had to spend over $1200 on transport between cities ourselves leaving us feeling stranded with nearly no money to spend of food. The service from the staff is ridiculous, and they have ruined our holiday. We’re only offered a refund for the initial transport we paid for through them, and not the comparatively more expensive local costs we’ve had to spend. Absolutely ridiculous. I want my money back, but more importantly I want my holiday back.

Negative experience: I emailed to enquire about booking a holiday to Japan and never heard back from Flight Centre Broadway. So disappointed. I ended up booking with another organisation which followed up via email and phone straight away.

Negative experience: Fine until you've booked and paid. Then the service disintegrates to non-existent.

Negative experience: Address not updated - Google maps led us to the old address where we spent 15 minutes looking around for it and had to ask 2 people for the newest directions. Appointments only, no walk-ins even in the case of emergencies. The consultants initially brushed us off by telling us to phone the emergency helpline (we did, twice but no one answered even after waiting on the line for 1.5h!). We had to insist for someone to help us; the consultants kept reminding us that they have customers waiting. In the end, we had to sort out the emergency ourselves. Travel experts not - unreliable when expertise is needed most.

Negative experience: Don’t go here. Worst of the worst.

Fantastic experience: After the most pleasant, reassuring and helpful experience with Alice F. from Broadway Flight Centre, I am now a staunch convert and supporter of always booking your special getaway with Flight Centre. I had initially booked a flight with Flight Centre to go to Mexico City from Sydney but because of a US Visa issue, had missed my flight and had to rebook. Being distraught from missing my flight and potentially missing out on my long anticipated holiday, I frantically called Flight Centre and was put through to Alice. Throughout my interaction with her, she diligently worked through every potential option to get the cost of rebooking my flight down as low as possible. Throughout the call I was emotionally preparing myself to spend upwards of $1000 to get to Mexico to see my friend. However, Alice worked her magic and got the cost of rebooking down to just $285 for the very next day, pushing back my return flight by the same time I'd lost (note that the cause of rebooking was my fault and this was PEAK season in Mexico, so EVERY flight was near full). An added bonus is that I got to spend some time in transit in Dallas (highly recommend for a day). Throughout the interaction, Alice was personable and good humoured which certainly did a lot to turn around my miserable morning. Moreover, Alice was highly knowledgeable, consummately professional and empathetic to my needs. I'd give my highest commendations to Alice and the team at Flight Centre Broadway. Travelling can be a daunting experience particularly when you have to deal with the labyrinthine system of airline prices and country visa requirements (especially during peak season). The peace of mind of having someone like Alice from Flight Centre on your side to help you get the best out of your holiday, bang for your buck and to bail you out in a pinch is honestly worth 100x more than the very modest and reasonable commission of booking with a Flight Centre travel agent!

Negative experience: Quite possibly the worst customers service I have experienced. Working through my flights was diabolical - first quote was $9000 (7 legs). Once I identified each of the salespersons errors, price dropped to $7000 then $5500 after more errors found (no complaints about price). Once paid for, there was no follow up. When I contacted them, it took an inordinate number of days to respond, despite wanting to add flights and hire car - I went elsewhere for this.

Negative experience: Arrived at flight centre an hour before it closed to ask a few quick questions about an upcoming trip and was greeted rudely and dismissed. A woman named Natalie laughed at me when I said I wanted to discuss a trip saying I shouldn’t have left it this late and no one was going to be able to help me even though there was only 1 other customer in the store and 3 staff members doing nothing. I ended up leaving as I was embarrassed and going to another store where they helped me quickly and I was out in 20 minutes. I couldn’t believe how rude the staff were and the whole experience was quite disappointing.

Fantastic experience: With all the drama and stress of things trying to get back to "normal" post covid, Flight Centre are dealing with less options, higher prices, more enquiry and less staff. After gettting the run around at another location, made a booking next day and met with Todd at Broadway. He was on the ball, took care of everything and booked flights and accommodation there and then. Sorted. Thanks!

Negative experience: I have experienced absolute frustration since March 2022 with Alexander, where he has not responded to my many emails trying to rebook a trip home to NZ, using credits remaining from Covid. Under recommendation from Alexander he got the refund from Qantas refunded to the Broadway flight centre store. Since March I have tried to rebook and had no answer to texts. emails and leaving phone messages. I then kept calling the store and spoke with Ben and was advised the credit was still available to use. I have since followed up with 5 emails to Ben and received no response. He confirmed the credit was still being held. On calling the store another 4 times and spoke with Richard who when asked tells me if unsure if Alexander is still working there and Ben is away sick and he looked up my file and can no longer find the credits. I am talking over $1200 worth. I can not go to any other Flight Centre as the credit is held only Glebe. So upset and frustrated!!!!!!!!!! Next step legal advice maybe...

Negative experience: Very responsive while booking and taking your money. Almost no response for past 3-4 months while trying to sort out a refund for Airline cancelled flights. I do not recommend at all.

Negative experience: i am still waiting for them to answer the phone after an hour and a half - apparently they flew 20,000 people home in the pandemic - i presume they were all dead by the time they got on the plane with this level of customer service

Fantastic experience: Massive shout out to Lila, Todd and Alice at Flight Centre Broadway. My first holiday after 3 years was marred by COVID (of course). Qantas!?! No matter how far or how wide they roam, they can’t seem to answer their bloody phone. These guys swapped and changed my flights a few times quickly, hassle free and communicated with me better than Australia’s so called “leading airline” ever did. I’ve always booked direct and only used Flight Centre this time because I had a gift voucher. You guys totally demonstrated why using Flight Centre as my travel agent was a WAY batter and stress free option than dealing with Qantas directly! Thanks guys

Negative experience: I’ve asked gentleman that exchanges currency if they’ve got currency of my country to buy and got respond: “No, of course not, currency of your country is worthless”. That was so mean and racist! Incredible.

Fantastic experience: I have recently returned from a trip back home to London where I visited family and friends, I hadn't seen in 3 years. It was a very successful trip and I understand how fortunate I am to have been able to leave and then get back safely. From the first instance when I met Alex Ozanne at the Broadway Flight Centre in Glebe, to following up with me after I returned, he has been very supportive, communicative and I wanted to pass on my gratitude. I know it must be such a tough time within this industry and I appreciate all the help and support.

Fantastic experience: Alice helped us get to Canada and back during Covid. Alice went above and beyond to source fights, manage flight changes and cancellations, and ensure we had options. Travelling for serious family reasons, Alice was totally invested in getting us where we needed to be and home again. I must say that I have always been super impressed by their professionalism and their friendliness. Booking flights, organising (COVID related) refunds, responding to enquiries, nothing was too hard for any of the staff I dealt with, in particular their manager, Alice Fisher. Well done team!

Negative experience: Never had a problem at this store before but today. I was attended by Iona who constantly answered calls while she was supposed to help me. It took more than 1 hour just to get my tickets printed which we bought previously and they were supposed to be ready. At the end she started making OFFENSIVE and UNNECESSARY comments about my culture and my name. Very passive aggressive. Never going there again.

Positive experience: If they are not too busy it can be a pleasant place to visit but when it is busy the wait times can be extreme and rushed. The staff were always helpful and quite knowledgeable.

Negative experience: quite Average service! Arranged two different trips through them for this holiday season(one cruise and one Bali trip) -had to deal with different people every time I had a question( and explain the whole deal over and over again) -my initial contact sold me two packages for over 30 grand and then told me it was her last day with the company (very inconvenient) -this morning I asked for an upgrade for the flight tomorrow, they didnt get back to me till i stopped by again and then I was told sorry all 17 business chairs are gone! try at the counter!!! sorry guys but Im tired of calling back and comjng back laters!! you MIGHT have good deals but are hard to deal with.

Negative experience: Terrible service! I went into the store wanting help to book a holiday! The manager never got back to me with a quote or hotel options like promised! I called over 5 times and left voice messages and no reply! Pretty bad service and not professional at all. Wouldn’t recommend

Fantastic experience: I have not used their travel services, but the centre has an active foreign exchange desk which is really efficient, accurate and helpful, recommended. This reflects that service and not the travel agency part.
