Fantastic experience: I dealt with Jason from Flight Centre Hurstville with booking overseas return tickets. I travelled for many years but have to say that this was best experience I had with travel agent and most helpful in re-booking return tickets due to required date change. I can only recommend my experience to others as they will not regret. Five stars in all aspects.

Negative experience: Went to flight centre hurstville this morning. 4 staff and only 1 customer. My husband told one of the staff that we wanted to go to Japan. She gave us a piece of paper and asked us to scan the QR code for information. Thats all we got. I don't understand how and why these people even got a job as travel agent.

I first contacted Flight Centre Hurstville and spoke with a gentleman by the name of Jason Dooley. Jason’s dedication to his customers and ensuring that all options and requests are made are available is second to none. Jason took the time to keep us informed and updated. Jason was always willing to help and provide all answers to any questions that were raised. Jason took the time to respond to emails remarkably quick. At no point was I left “hanging” and waiting. Negative experience: Rude service! Do not recommend! Quite disgusting when you call Flight Centre and they say come down in an hr and then your there waiting for an hr patiently in a line to be told no we are not serving you even though you were next in line. The bloke Jason was horrible just cos your having a bad day you don't need to be rude to others and take out your frustration. I have been to this place several times before and it was pleasant but never AGAIN!

Negative experience: My partner and I attended Flight Centre Hurstville to enquire about cruise ship options… When we arrived, there were three customer service representatives and no customers to be seen. The attitude we received from one of the customer service representative was unhelpful and quite degrading to say the least. We admittedly had not booked in an appointment but from past experiences have been told that they were busy however was happy to book in a future appointment or asked politely to come back at another time. He made us feel guilty and vented his own frustration about his current work stress in which we felt uncomfortable and felt as if we were an inconvenience to him. We understand how stressful work can be, especially post COVID but we feel as if this behaviour was not warranted. It is a shame because we have rated this flight centre 5 stars previously for really good customer service.

Fantastic experience: Once again Katerina in the Hurstville centre has sorted out my flights. I just love going back year after year to this wonderfully caring, efficient lady.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited several Flight Centre stores to inquire about a booking and because they were charging booking fees ($49 per person), I decided to book my trip online to avoid these fees. However, I soon realized the convenience of having an agent handle everything for me when I needed to make a small change to my itinerary. The process of calling the airline, hotels, and travel insurance to change the dates was extremely time-consuming and frustrating, taking over 12 hours in total. After this experience, I understand the value of Flight Centre's service fees and will definitely book with an agent next time to save myself the headache of handling everything on my own.

Negative experience: Very bad experience, I visited Hurstville branch with my wife at 3:20pm and found the door half closed. The trading hours are 9-5pm on Saturday. We went in and a gentleman ( I call him that because I didn’t use to be rude to anyone) started shouting and instructing us to go out in a very rude manner. I’ll never go back and I don’t recommend anyone to deal with those rude people . I gave them one star to be able to post but they don’t deserve it.

Negative experience: My wife and I went to flight centre Hurstville today to enquire about flights to Europe and for some honest help regarding our honeymoon booking that we unfortunately missed out on when we married last year. Was greeted by a lady with off red hair. My wife and I told her we are looking to travel to Europe and fly to Greece, Italy and London. Immediately she asked if we are booking today to which we responded we are enquiring with view to booking. She abruptly replied and indicated that she would not provide any advice unless we paid a non refundable deposit. I mentioned that this was the first I had heard of that, she replied that they no longer provide information to people because they can just go home and book it themselves. This was confusing as we were one of many to be served and there were 3 other groups being served at the same time by other staff members. I doubt that any of the other customers had paid deposits prior to receiving any information. We were made to feel that we were not genuine customers. Booking a holiday is an exciting and expensive experience and you can’t expect customers to pay non refundable deposits before even knowing what your getting yourself into. NOTE ***This review is strictly for the one staff member***

Negative experience: I don’t typically leave reviews unless they’re positive, however I feel as though I’d be doing a disservice to anyone who walks through the doors of Flight Centre Hurstville and is expecting adequate service. Upon entry I wasn’t greeted by any of the five staff present, despite being the only person in the entire store; and instead had to walk up to a staff member and ask if I could grab her assistance to sort out my travel credits. The staff member (and a Senior Travel Specialist to boot) begrudgingly agreed and began lecturing me on how my trip needed to be completed by today’s day. I explained that the airline had agreed to extend these dates and had details printed to share with her, but I was no match for her stubbornness. Her lecture turned patronizing very quickly. She began circling a number on my printed sheet, telling me that I need to come back with a “ticket number that looks like this” otherwise she can’t help me. We weren’t issued tickets, so I knew this was garbage, but upon closer inspection the number she was circling was the Flight Centre 1300 number. As this point, I knew there was no point wasting my breathe so I got up and left. The interaction was hostile from the start and the service was nothing short of disgusting. Don’t waste your time, it’s easier talking to robots on phones than stepping foot in that place.

Negative experience: My mum and I walked into the Hurstville Flight center at around 11.45  this morning and was surprised to be treated so callously even before we sat down! The lady in black ( as I don't want to embarras her and mention her name and I'm sure you have cameras) and I say lady because  I have better manners than her ..went off at us clearly letting us know that she was too busy with a pile of work to do( which she kept pointing to)...and that she was understaffed ( like that was my problem) and that she was certain she couldn't help us today even before asking us why we were there! Now we have already been stuffed around with the whole covid drama and refunds which we have been extremely patient about..and we only went back on the instruction of flight center in Martin Place to check on a credit status which they assured us was updated in the system. I must mention that when we went in on Friday to FS Hurstville  the young man was ever so helpful, fished out our details wrote down makes and numbers for us and referred us to Martin place who then rectified the problem and directed us to our local Flight center in Hurstville. And this is where we end up today. Simple courtiesies and customer service does not cost you anything neither does having patience and empathy towards your clients. She had no idea why we were there and how to direct or navigate our problem. She was rude and unhelpful talking over us and only just trying to let us know how she had too much to do! There were 2 other clients being attended to by the other two staff. You would think flight center would do everything in its power to train their team about the important things..customer service. There is ALWAYS a better way to talk to your customer and resolve simple issues...and if she was having a bad  day ..sorry but don't bring it to work and take it out on me! All she had to do was to smile,  talk nicely and try and help. All very simple to achieve..that way even if she couldn't have helped us I would have walked out happy. I came in there all positive and happy and left rattled!

Negative experience: Absolute rubish experience. rather then selling the tickets, those guys can't sort out anything else. I had my flight cancelled/postponed and been avised to go by myself to airport and sort it out because "they don't have it in system/they can't contact airline/". What a joke. What's the point of booking a trip through the travel agency if I have to sort everything out myself? I end up going to the airport and solving the issue myself... and waited just 7 hours from there for my flight. I failed a complaint about this helpless and rude service 2 months ago and no one ever got back to me. I also got travel insurance which I had to use as I had an accident. After coming back and lodging the claim, guess what - no one got back to me. What an absolute joke of a company.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience at the end of 2021, we had very last minute plans to travel to Scotland as their borders opened up. Jason was able to book us tickets very quickly and also assisted us with every question regarding covid19 travel protocols, he had every document we needed to travel listed and linked us to all the right places. We were able to navigate a really difficult travelling situation with extreme ease and make it to see family in time for Christmas. Once again a quick trip organised, domestically this time to Brisbane in two weeks and we went straight to Jason knowing he would be able to help us out. He had our tickets organised ASAP and we're all booked and ready to go! We will probably continue getting in touch for all travel plans in the future!

Negative experience: I've had nothing but good and efficient service from the friendly staff at Flight Centre. However, when I returned last weekend to question the incorrect flight ticket I had been issued I felt I didn't get a satisfactory answer. 5 nights prior to flying to Adelaide I decided to check my ticket and to my surprise discovered the ticket dates, time, and flight details were all incorrect. It caused me some concern so the following day I returned to Flight Centre to clarify my flight details. I was informed not to worry, " it's just a typing error". As all the ticket details were incorrect except for my name I feel it was a gross administrative error. It caused a lot of angst and I don't understand why when all the initial details of my flight were correct, the ticket I returned to collect was grossly incorrect. It wasn't a typing error.

Her suggestion to go to Edinburgh paid off as that was one of the highlights of our trip. She arranged all our hotels and they were in great locations. She suggested activities/ highlights to do also which was great as we had no idea. During our holiday we realised we didn’t arrange a transfer from Gatwick airport to a London hotel so we contacted her and even though she was on holidays herself she arranged one for us.
