Fantastic experience: I would not hesitate to recommend Flight Centre Shellharbour regarding travel. In particular Gemma Smyth, who was our consultant. She was very good, and our holiday was quite complicated with flight, train, tours etc in Europe. With Gemma organizing all our links, flight etc., they all worked out perfectly, she was great!

Fantastic experience: Tiana did a fantastic job planning our holiday to the Cook Islands. Everything went very smoothly from our flight with Jetstar to our accommodation in the "Sanctuary Rarotonga" with it's white sandy beach and turquoise water. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made our stay a memorable one. There is lots to do between Stand- up paddle boards, Snorkelling and Kayaks. Island Night and Drum Dance was great. Then we took a 50 min flight to "Aitutaki Private Island Resort" for our next accommodation which is also surrounded by white sand and turquoise waters. Staff there are also great and made sure you have a great time. Bicycles, Paddle boards, Kayaks and lots of Snorkeling to do and the food is great. Many Thanks again Tiana for making our Cook Islands holiday a memorable one cheers Doug.

Negative experience: Usually have a really positive experience at flight centre but not really this time. Melody, although polite, lacked general communication skills. During one of our appointments, she left us sitting in awkward silence for what felt like 30 minutes (honestly felt like longer). All of our attempts to engage in conversation while she gathered hotel information for us was met with dead silence. While I understand her need to focus on her task for us, perhaps next time she could let us know she could email the information to us instead of having us sit there awkwardly for ages. On the day we booked an appointment to pick up our tickets, we were forced to wait again in silence as our tickets weren't ready when we arrived. Emails regarding general information about our trip were not always responded to very quickly. I was forced to call flight centre on one occasion due to a lack of response from Melody. She also set us up with a terrible transfer company. Our driver was not waiting at the gate for us but sitting in a coffee shop near the end of the arrivals. He was rude, texted and googled while driving, and didn't even drop us at our hotel. We were forced to walk, in a new country, and hope his instructions were correct. They were also late transferring us back to the airport at the end of our trip. While definitely not the worst experience a person could have, it wasn't entirely enjoyable booking experience either.

Negative experience: My partner chose to use flight centre Shellharbour to book our first over seas trip together in a motor home across New Zealand but the quality and service we have received since arriving has made me realise I could of done better myself.. all they had to do was check the reviews like I did to possibly avoid their customers having horrible experiences but I think they must be getting paid to give them the business because we have had issues just like everyone else , I’m disappointed because it’s caused tension between my partner and I and yes they gave the company a call when we weren’t getting anywhere with them but all we received was an email reply not even a call back or follow up (which nothing was fixed anyway) poor vehicle condition (things falling off) aggressively pulling to the left when driving, loud rattling, mis information when being shown the vehicle, things not working are just some of what we have dealt with because flight centre couldn’t choose a better company for its customers. Not hard to do your research, it’s your job.

Fantastic experience: What a great experience. My wife and I recently went to Flight Centre at Shellharbour to book a holiday in Hawaii. Melody Duncan was able to look after everything for us. She booked our accommodation that we were interested in and found the most cost effective flights for the time period we wanted to travel. The flights with Hawaiian Airlines was very comfortable. She also completed the ESTA application on our behalf. We are most appreciative of the effort Melody went to in arranging our holiday.

Fantastic experience: Melody Duncan was there for us on our trip to Nepal when we had to face flight cancellations due to the impact of the monsoon. Fortunately the airport at Pokhara reopened and we able to get back to Kathmandu for our flight home. It was a great trip and wonderful to have a support person with a back up plan when we needed it most.

Fantastic experience: Melody at Flight Centre was wonderful at helping me book our shore excursions for our recent trip. I knew the cruise that I wanted to book and she was able to help with the cabin selection as well as the booking. It is much easier, I did preplan everything and then ran things through with a Melody. Because you can't do everything you want to do it is a great idea to make sure your choices are going to make the most of your ports. Our South of France and Italian cruise was awesome.

Fantastic experience: Rob at Flight Centre Shellharbour went above and beyond to ensure I got the best fare possible! Not only was Rob a gentleman and a scholar in his field but also took the time to explain to my son the ins & outs of a game my son has been struggling with! (Fork knife?) Rob’s warm welcome and firm handshake had me in a trance from the moment I walked in! His knowledge and attention to detail sealed the deal for me. After I had changed my mind and dates multiple times Rob didn’t batter an eyelid, no request was too much for this man. Fantastic experience: I booked my big three month trip to Germany with Tiana at Shell Harbour office and I just want to say how well I've been looked after. I wasn't able to make my flight home and rang flight centre in a panic from the airport and they were quickly reachable, super helpful and understanding, even gave me credit for the missed flight with 12 months validity. You only really know how great a service is when things don't go as planned on your travels and I was so glad I had a person to talk to and help me through it. 5 Stars, 10 if I could.

Negative experience: I thought I posted this a year ago when we travelled, goes to show even a year on I’m still willing to give this experience a 1 star out of 5. Dial back a year we booked a holiday with Flight Centre Shellharbour and towards the end of our trip there was a cyclone. I tried and failed 5 times (waiting over at least an hour, sometimes more than 2.5 hours) to try get flight centre to assist during the lead up to the cyclone with rebooking our flights, their international assistance is an absolute joke. When we finally got ahold of someone after 3 days of trying they simply asked us to hope for the best and ‘see what happens’. I had no choice but to rebook our flights directly with the airline simply because we had no other way off the island, when I then recalled flight centre Shellharbour to help with the booking since it started to get messy with bookings/cancellations and rebooking again, I was told by the Shellharbour rep(I won’t mention their name) that there was nothing they could do, that’s it, you’ve rebooked on your own. Mind you we just went through a cyclone and no sympathy, just a ‘you’re a burden to us now’ attitude. What could they of done different? Assist us with our AA booking, provide advise, anything more then what we got. Also it turns out the ‘rebooked’ flight was only reserved, not booked which luckily was sorted by AA on the day, if Flight Centre had warned us of that happening that would of at least been some help. As far as the overall added value of Flight Centre Shellharbour, they simply booked the original flight, which in hindsight, anyone else/or booking site can do, so I ask, why would I book with Flight Centre Shellharbour again? What can you say is your differentiator given our experience? It’s certainly not your knowledge and expertise we experienced, nor your ‘international support’ which are hard to get a hold of and provide no support, we also had to correct the same Shellharbour Flight Centre staff member 3 times when they went to book our flight of the correct airport code (LAX on the way there not LAS) luckily my parter is attentive otherwise we would have had an interesting flight over.

Negative experience: We booked a return flight from Sydney to Adana for my mother. The travel agent picked the wrong airport in Istanbul to connect the flight. Note sure how a travel agent can make a mistake like this. Not only my elderly mother needed to collect her luggage in Istanbul, she also had to travel around 80kms to the correct airport. She rushed from the Asian side of Istanbul (Sabiha Gokcen Airport) to the European side of Istanbul (Istanbul Airport) with the luggage to catch the flight because of the mistake!

Fantastic experience: Tiana is my travel needs angel. Many thanks She sorts refunds, special meals, and insurance claims with prompt efficiency and is so friendly - earns the title all day every day but look after her please :-)

Fantastic experience: I recently took a trip to the Philippines. My return flights and insurance was all handled by Heidi Rogers. My trip was supposed to be for 23 days. Unfortunately things didn’t go as planned and I needed to come home after only 4 days. I got in contact with Heidi again from the Philippines and told her I needed to come home.ASAP. I expected to lose the money from my previously booked flights from Cebu to Manila and Manila to Sydney. Heidi stayed with me throughout the whole process reassuring me that everything would be fine. In the end Heidi had arranged both flights starting at 5pm that same afternoon and the 2nd from Manila at 10.45pm that night. On top of this, I didn’t lose the money from my previously scheduled flights, I just had to pay a $160 fee which I was very happy to do. Then just to make things better for me Heidi actually claimed back $200 + from the travel insurance that I didn’t use. I believe what Heidi Rogers did for me in a time of great stress was above and beyond. She knew I had to get out of where I was and she stopped at nothing to make it happen. I can’t thank this young lady enough and would 100% recommend dealing with Heidi. I will always be thankful to her and there’s no question who I will turn to whenever I travel in the future. Thank you so much Heidi.

Negative experience: Made a booking with a certain gentleman here, I won't name and shame him. Had zero confidence that he had booked it correctly, he couldn't answer basic booking related questions. I ended up cancelling the trip and loosing my deposit to then be contacted by the cruiseline over a month later regarding my booking. He had never cancelled it, had got my husbands name wrong what a mess. He can't even respond to emails or return calls. Worst experience ever!

Negative experience: Was served by Rod or Rob Saturday nearly two weeks ago. Was going to pay in full on the day but couldn’t give me details of return flights. Would give me quote on the Monday. Still waiting. Rang spoke to him last Friday said he didn’t do it, would do it then. Still waiting. Now deal is over for Japan. Won’t deal with flight centre Shellharbour ever again.

Positive experience: We were looked after by La Shan. She was great. She welcomed us without a booking and was a great help. It is so much easier to book with an agent physically present. We could discuss options and preferences with her. She was able to easily make alterations as our fluid plans were made more firm with the extra information that she was able to provide. It was a very satisfying experience.

Negative experience: I was there about an hour ago,the lady wad nice to give us 15 minutes time without booking. We asked for flights to Bangkok and Phuket. She told us a few options.one was Thai airlines,We asked her to check Emirates,she checked and said there in no direct flight,I said I have checked myself and there was,she said,no,you have to go 14 hours to Dubai and the go to Bangkok.she said Emirates had direct flights b4 covid,but not after that.She talked about Jetstar and said they have flights couple of times in a week ,but did not check for that.staright after that while I was still in Shopping centre I checked Emirates and they had direct flights.

Negative experience: We dealt with Courtney booking our flight to Europe. This went okay but SIA changed our days of flight and we have phoned twice over the last week to get advice but with no response. This is disappointing and has caused us to question whether to use this Flight Centre again. Customer relations are important in these times and we have had better service elsewhere.

Negative experience: Went in for some prices obviously they were busy but thought I’d wait, didn’t realise they has QR code for appointment bookings. While I decided to book an appointment I was called next to be served, I explained what I was after and with not much conversation the staff member was not very polite and helpful even spoke to me in rude manner and it seemed as if I was wasting her time. Not very happy with their service at all. Not sure if I will return there in the future for any services.

Fantastic experience: I had to cancel a booking through Quantas due to a death in my family. Qantas were totally useless citing policy and terms to refuse a refund or credit. I has spent over 6k in travel with them over the past few weeks while my dad was dying. I had booked through flight centre online. Melody Wiskich at the Shellharbour Flight centre had it sorted in minutes. Excellent service. Give that lady a promotion and pay rise.
