Negative experience: Went there today 4th Dec to get IDP. Served by a rude staff. As I was handing over my license I told her that my current address is back which she didn’t like and she was annoyed. I wasn’t trying to make her a dump, I was just being nice and excited for my first IDP. Hopefully just one staff.

Negative experience: Waste of time. I recently had to get my IDP renewed for a last minute trip of a lifetime and visited RAC Cannington on two different occasions with evidence from Dept of Transport and the WA Police to prove my license number was currently valid and recently renewed, but because the date on my license was running out (on the two occasions I drove 45 mins to the Cannington branch) I was refused. I was told it was an illegal activity to approve my IDP, even when my current license number was valid. Each staff member flatly said there was nothing they or I could do and to basically wave goodbye to the opportunity of a lifetime; riding motorbikes across the Himalayas. Devastated, I went online and applied for an IDP thinking it's worth a shot; even if the details won't work with my current details that the Staff at RAC Cannington said was invalid. My IDP was approved and delivered express to my door in three days! Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Do your IDP online and avoid the hassle of wasting your time in an office with people who don't want to help.

Negative experience: RAC, has been dreadful. Constantly their direct debit failing even though theres more then enough money in the account. I called to to pay the amount as it had been rejected. The lady went over my details to check if they were correct they were! Instead of me paying them directly she wanted to see if the money would come out. It didnt of course. This has continually happened, Ive called maybe 3 or more times regarding this issue prior. Then I get a message today saying they've cancelled my policy (I use my car for work) so I call waited half hour to get through. Finally speak to someone she's says they've cancelled my policy because I missed payments. I called prior to sort the payments missed (last week) but your other employee told me to see if the direct debit would work. Iv honestly had enough of this stuff around. I'd have to restart the policy, but no other option but direct debit, clearly it isn't working !!. Disappointed, Ive gone back to Shannon's never had an issue with them, I recommend Shannon's if anyone is having an issue with RAC car insurance, they have great customer service and really understanding definitely sticking with Shannon's.
Negative experience: RAC WA has been an absolute let down. 15 months to try and resolve a claim and now 41 days waiting for their complaints department to review and resolve this issue. The quality of a good insurance company is in their responsiveness to their customers. Don't waste your time with RAC.

Negative experience: Worse insurance company. This company use to be good but over the past few year has gone terrible. They cut corner, don’t want to pay for damages, use excuses like it normal wear, keep trying to get the one of their inspectors out and say things like that’s not part of the damage or they will fix only half the fence but not the retaining that’s needed for the new fence. Then they said no inspection is needed and the next week I get a call from the inspector to inspect the damage. But I already was told it doesn’t need an inspection and already got someone to fix it. Don’t use stay away cause they don’t want to pay for claims. Happy to take your money for years but won’t pay out for anything
