Negative experience: I changed my flight plans and was lied to about a refund. The assistant that I was talking to could not understand my English. Never utilising Flight Centres services ever again. Poor effort!!!

These are advised prior to booking and require acknowledgement from each customer before any booking is confirmed or payment made. Our online team are highly trained and are a great asset for customers who choose to act as their own agent and make their booking themselves online. I can see that the team have quoted you the price to change flights when you called, and this was advised so that you could make an educated decision. If you'd prefer a more tailored service, we'd recommend visiting your local store and our team can absolutely personalise your package in person for you. Negative experience: Lost me. I'll take my business elsewhere thanks. Yes I rocked up on a Sunday- no I did not make a appointment. They where not super busy. 3.10- lady who served me (did not get her name she did not leave a lasting impression) was rude and quickly said- do you have a appointment no I said. Well you need a appointment, we can't help you - we shut soon!!!! Um-- in 45 minutes I said - we have appointments to tidy up! There was no question your to late to bad. Tried to make conversation as she QUICKLY made me a appointment a week later. I work in customer service and been doing it alot longer. Sure make a appointment you've had a busy day I get all that, the approach the I don't care attitude AND as soon as we walked out- shut the doors. Don't advertise shutting at 4 then! AND for my teenager who was with me comments--- she was rude mum. So I have a appointment Sunday with Jade. I won't be there, I'll take my first big holiday with my son elsewhere where I'm not treated like a number. Sonia

If the team have availability to see you immediately, they of course will, but they will also be juggling the virtual queue of customers with post appointment follow-ups, booking maintenance, and email enquiry. We do highly recommend appointments to ensure the team can dedicate time in their day to chat with you, as agents are in such high demand. To provide a little insight, once they've finished a consult, there is still the legwork of the booking to do, calling suppliers, booking flights, making payments, tailoring packages, invoicing, and also working with customers via email & phones, so the majority of the booking work is done without a customer in the store. Regardless, we're sorry you've had this negative experience! We will be sure to channel this feedback internally to the team.
Fantastic experience: Today was the first day I had a chance to drop off 2 bunches of Xmas Lillies to the Browns plains Flight Center. Because these two wonderful ladies working for over 2 hours on phones to all airlines , trying hard to get me back to Christchurch a couple of weeks ago to see my mum before she passed . Only had hours . When I walked in today , I didn’t expect them to recognise me… they both asked if I got home in time …. And yes I did . The 3 of us had tears . Can’t thank the girls enough Flight Centre Australia browns plains. Wish I caught there names . But you know who you are . Truly can’t thank them enough

Negative experience: The experience I received was just inexcusable I call on Mad Monday to book the cruise. I was not informed very much at all just to have everyone’s full name ect . Even though I accepted the rooms and want to pay I think it was just before sometime and she didn’t want to deal with it. No calls back until I call. Oh well we missed the special deal and then I got things happen. I know you will send I’m sorry but forget it. You done yourself out of my service.

Negative experience: Very bad experience with Esther. She came 13 minutes late to attend my pr booked appointment. Don't know what she is doing? She took all my details and no reply yet. No reply to my email yet. Call to reception to book another appointment today. No call back yet. Waste of time . $10k worth of deal they don't care?

Negative experience: Terrible experience with Store Manager Jade! Has no idea about cruise bookings and to be honest quite lazy! We obviously were not the right booking for her! Had no interest in checking in on us! And we had to follow up everything! Had us in for a calendar reminder and sent us a reminder about our departure date and a pdf of our luggage tags! No offer to explain how it all works! No awesome flight centre red travel pack! Paid flight centre for something I could have done myself but I would have done it better! Won’t ever go through flight centre again! Especially browns plains!

Fantastic experience: Went with my brother to book a holiday overseas for the first time having pretty much 0 idea on what we were doing. Didn’t even have an appointment because we didn’t know you needed one As soon as we got there we were seated instantly with Jono who helped us immensely. Was an easy going guy who made booking our first trip overseas super easy.

Fantastic experience: This is a very busy centre. It is a very good idea to make a booking to chat with one of the consultants. If you do this when you arrive at Grand Plaza, you should be able to get a time that suits you before you leave. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They will do whatever they can to discuss options and ensure that you get the best deal possible for your budget and travel needs.

Negative experience: Went into browns plains office to get assistance with flight information.Had a terrible experience,staff seemed like they didn't care...all I required was times, cost etc. This is the second time FC has let me down. Will not use this company again. Big thumbs down
Negative experience: Called into the FC at browns Plains to follow up on a quote I had been given on Jan 11th 2023 at the time of quote I was unsure of exact dates to depart..so was coming back to confirm..the consultant Shana was busy so spoke with another girl Tiana who did not want to serve me and said wait until shana is done and had her lunch and she will see you .I asked why she can't serve me and she said too busy and based on my questioning her refused to serve me.i was so angry with this service I left but then returned to ask to see the manger.not here I then said I would stay in the shopping centre and when shana is free to text or call me and I will return I waited 3 hours with no call.i have booked many flights with the FC and never been treated like this ..very disappointed

Positive experience: I have been using Flight Centre for quite a few years and Escape Travel before that which was bought out by Flight Centre. We have used the same travel agent for many years and have always had great service but since Flight Centre closed their 2nd store in Browns Plains it's become near impossible to get any personal service and its only by appointment now and the staff are so busy and run off their feet that they have no time for their personal service like they use to. The travel Industry has obviously exploded after Covid where everyone was restricted from travelling so now it's open slather again and it's gone ballistic. I think if they don't open the 2nd store again or increase their staff they are likely to lose Customers. I use the same staff member here and have remained loyal to her but its obvious that the business needs to expand or they could lose staff as well as Customers. These are my personal observations and I hope I am wrong but I do know its become frustrating because I have spent many 10's of thousands of $ there over the years.

Negative experience: Got turned away at the door because I didn't come in over an hour before closing. Was informed that unless I had a booking they refused to serve me because 'its busy' and it takes 'too long to make a booking'. Meanwhile there were customers lined up behind me and staff sitting there not with anyone. I already had the dates and everything lined up, all I was to do was to pay. Got told I could come back another day with a booking. Never mind that I drove half an hour to get there. Thanks a lot. Very disappointing for such a highly rated store. I hope the people behind me weren't treated so rudely.

Fantastic experience: Booked my first overseas flight with Renee and she was incredibly helpful. I didn't even have my passport yet, but she organised flight, reasonable transfers, visa requirements and currency for two round trips and her and two other staff were super helpful with any questions I had. Will be back for my next trip!

Negative experience: I was there at the kiosk to exchange money to NZD for my husband travelling to NZ the next day. Waiting patiently for 20 minutes after it was opened. The Flight Centre consultant was very nice, even though she was busy with a client, she informed me the person who was suppose to be operating the kiosk hadn't arrived for work, she had no idea when she would arrived and even attempted to contact this person but was unsuccessful. I waited around the Plaza for a half hour and they still hadn't arrived so we left. Later, in the afternoon my son was again at the kiosk and still no one was there. So this rating is for the kiosk, which may be run separately from Flight Centre.
Hi Richelle, sorry to hear this! The kiosk is run by Travel Money which although part of the Flight Centre umbrella is a separate business. It sounds as though the consultant may have been unwell this day, and unfortunately last minute there was no replacement, but I am sorry to hear of your experience!

Negative experience: disappointed that i booked my flight here. when i arrived at the airport there were problems with my ticket because one of the ladies at browns plains flight centre who helped me didnt make the booking but instead put it on hold. When I arrived at the airport to check in, they told me the email i was given was not the ticket. So I had to contact browns plains flight centre again. But lucky I was able to fly out that day. 3 weeks later, I contacted the person who was suppose to take care of my flight while being overseas, I did so via email for my return flight. Didnt receive an email back until after a week, so I emailed one of her other co workers & she was able to get her to email me back. Fast forward to 3 days ago I emailed about info i want to know before my return flight on Monday as it doesnt show on any emails, and still no reply. I will not book my flights with browns plains flight centre no more. because of the problem from the get go, didnt feel at ease travelling because of this.

Negative experience: To say that Flight Centre was absolutely useless would be generous of me. Not only were they incredibly vague in their communication, it felt as if they were actively sabotaging our honeymoon. We booked a trip to Queenstown with a bunch of activities. Once we arrived, the times listed on the itinerary and activity vouchers given to us by Flight Centre did not match up with the actual time Flight Centre booked us in for. We missed out on some activities and had to spend time calling and rebooking others. Essentially, we paid Flight Centre a lot of money so we could miss out on activities and re-organise everything ourselves.

Fantastic experience: I received exceptional customer service with the Browns Plains staff. I can tell that it’s exceptional because I spent over 7 hours on the phone trying to help my partner get back from overseas when multiple flights were cancelled, and the Flight Centre staff were the most helpful, informative and pleasant out of everyone I’d spoken to. The staff worked overtime to help find solutions and keep me informed. They were always friendly and patient, and took the time to help, even when dealing with so many different customers a day. Would definitely recommend having them by your side when travelling!

Negative experience: Disappointed by our experience with Browns Plains Flight Centre - we decided to go on a cruise which offered all the packages… which was a ‘too good to let it go’ deal - when she was processing it, she had issues adding it all into the package - so she just said ‘I will add it to the notes’ - we have now found out that she isn’t so ‘up’ with the process, as we are now NOT getting the deal we expected.. her response was that they changed the package name and she didn’t know.. not her problem now, I thought they were the professionals.. This is the 3rd time Flight Centre have messed up our holiday arrangements in the past.. so will definitely not be returning to them. Very annoying!!

Negative experience: Poor services! The staff looked like she hate me at the first site when she saw me entering the shop. She talked to me with very angry face and angry voice, No "hi", no "smile" and no "welcoming". Never come back and happy ending.

Negative experience: Facts- -October 2020, booked a holiday for partner and I , return airfares, accommodation, activities, travel insurance, then covid began. - Obviously we were unable to travel as the entire world went into lock down so eventually we just begun the process of getting refunded as we were unsure when we would be able to travel again. -We got everything back excluding flight expenses, Malindo do not offer refunds only credits which are useless for us now as my partner and I have won our custody battle for our children and we are now a blended family of 8 in total. We no longer have the luxury of being part time parents and being able to travel for a couple weeks as we now have 6 boys here with us full time except every second weekend. Although the credit is useless to us we begrudgingly accepted defeat and took the flight vouchers. (which today we have actually on found out aren't even available yet and if they do end up giving credits to customers it could take up to a year as it did with some other Asian airline providers) -This whole process to get no where has taken the better part of 14 months of harassing Flight Centre who have only once returned a phone call Fast forward to June 2022 we've been screwed around even further by not only being completely ignored and pushed aside by the entire organisation from instore staff to the criminals in the corporate side of the business , they simply don't care. - Were getting married in November 2022 and have been tirelessly trying to book a honeymoon with them. -Our flight credits ( which don't even exist yet) are even more then useless as the airline isn't even flying at the moment. So were told if we want to book flights with flight centre we need to pay them again, they paid the airline already previously so not their problem apparently. -Try call airline no answer , must be co owned by Flight Centre also it seems. At the end of the day we booked with flight centre , paid flight centre exactly what they requested , the airline, accommodation, insurance ect was all 100% their selection and recommendation, as the booking agent scoops their commissions from all sales generated is it to much to expect they take responsibility for things such as this? Why as their customer are we told stiff!!! Flight Centre should be refunding their customers and perusing compensation from the carriers they booked the flights with. Simply disgusting that this isn't the case and even more infuriating that the attitude from them clearly shows they do not give a damm the second the sale is made. Call them with a question about an existing booking and you get nothing unless you call multiple times , call with a complaint and you get ignored entirely , want to be answered select the option to book a new flight/holiday.... phones answer so quick you barely hear the dial tone its answered. Pity I can't name names as these staff we have had to endure aren't suitable to this industry and being left in control of what most families have to save money for years to achieve.

Fantastic experience: I had gone through Renee over the phone to sort out our trip to Europe and she was super helpful and easy to deal with. Couldn't recommend her more. I also had issues with payment so I went into the store and I was served by another lady and got to meet Renee as well and they were both really helpful and we're able to sort me out quickly and easily. Can't recommend FC Browns Plains enough !

Fantastic experience: It was mine and my partners first visit to Flight Centre Browns Plains yesterday, to organise our first ever holiday together. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Bee and she was absolutely amazing. She sat us down straight away and assisted us with our booking. She went through everything we needed to know and also gave us recommendations as to where to go in Melbourne. She was bubbly, vibrant and absolutely knew her stuff when it comes to travel. The process has always seemed so stressful to me but she made us feel so calm and at ease- not to mention, super excited for our trip! Fantastic experience: Erin was very helpful, kind and efficient with my booking itenary she actually exceeded my expectations and went as far to helping me out with a rental car on arrival which im still yet to decide on, but im sure I will probably get when the time is close. She also went out of her way to try and find transport from my house to airport. Although that was unsuccessful the fact that she helped in those areas were very warning and helpful to me. Great welcoming warm and friendly Customer Service is exactly what they give. I am very grateful and thank ful for everything she had helped me with.

Not only did she discover all the answers related to confusing Covid related rules set by Federal and local Government as well as Qantas, she was super supportive. Negative experience: I rang on monday and organized to get my visa to thailand with them, the young man justin, i talked to went out of his way to help, he rang there visa agent to make sure they could help. He rang me back and assured me if i poped in on tuesday with all the nessary dociments, they would be able to help. I arrived on Tuesday and was served by a lady there, i explained what had transpired the day before. She spent 5 secounds on her computer, told me it wasnt posible, she then refused to help me.

Fantastic experience: Had such an awesome experience at Flight Centre. Would 10/10 recommend Alex, she was absolutely lovely and was able to help and assist us throughout all steps of our booking.
