Fantastic experience: A fabulous experience travelling Diamond coach with host Lyndall and coach driver Greg. Awesome team. So many wonderful activities all included. The company is a responsible operator who support environmental initiatives. The mix of guest was awesome and all participated in activities. Our host was focused on keeping guest engaged and initiated group participation while travelling on the coach. We were kept informed on local knowledge. The whole tour was lots of fun as per the company name. There were no cost surprises as all tours and meals were covered in the initial cost. The off coach attractions were 5 Star. Travelling from Brisbane to Longreach on the Spirit of the Outback. Our tour included march of the dinosaurs. Our last overnight accommodation was 1770. Such a wonderful variety of attractions. Fantastic experience: My husband and I are ar Funstars and have just completed the Victorian Rover Grand Tour for 10 days, starting at Inverloch and finishing back at Melbourne. Our driver was Darren. Felt very save with his driving,considering he had to negotiate very challenging roads on the Great Ocean Rd and the drive up and back to Falls Creek.Also a gentleman through and through.Now our tour driver Neal was somebody very very special,He made us laugh from the very first to the last day,with his so called "true stories".We watched hin put on his big boy pants (his words not ours) and sort out any problems that came his way.He looked after us so well. Overall the meals were amazing. The accomodation was tops. The coach was very comfortable and loved the idea of only having 26 on board. Makes it so much easier for travellers and tour directors alike.Loved every minute of the itinerary from the ocean to the high country,to the beautiful rural countryside. Ten out of ten for collating this tour. We will book again,and hopefully we will have Neal and Darren back with us.

Fantastic experience: Grafton Jacaranda Festival - A brilliant trip, a very positive experience and very worthwhile. Simon and Annette are outstanding assets on Fun over 50's trips. The bus, accommodation, food, visits, activities were top quality, luxury and comfort from start to finish. At every meal Annette gave high priority to my special dietary requirements. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from a fantastic time on the "Tasmania Grand Tour". The scenery, accommodation and food were all superb not to mention our tour host Leanne and coach captain Chris who both kept us well informed and through their interaction and care for us made this a certainly FUN holiday.

Fantastic experience: What a pleasure it was to travel once again with Simon and Annette on the 5 day Jacaranda festival tour with a group of 18 Funsters. Our stay at Angourie Resort was delightful & who would have thought I would be part of a Guiness world record attempt at doing the HOKI POKI whilst enjoying the Jacaranda festival. The tour was so well organized with lots of special extras like interesting Museums, Wineries, Christmas tree farm, the Saddle makers and especially the races at Toowoomba on our last day. Fantastic experience: What can I say about our Fun Over Fifties tour through Tasmania, our tour guide Leanne and bus driver Chris? It started at the airport on our arrival. Right from the get go, my husband, brother and I (57, 59 & 66) felt so at ease. It was our first tour and we were all a little nervous. Leanne came bouncing along, made us laugh, organised us, made us feel welcomed and was a bundle of joy. Chris and Leanne’s banter was hilarious and their knowledge of Tasmania is second to none. Each hotel was spot on. Their breakfasts and dinners were superb. I had my best steak ever at Hobart at the Hotel Grand Chancellor and we are cattle farmers. Oh please try the Seafood chowder at the Drunken Admiral. Actually I only devoured delicious meals on the tour. So be warned…… don’t eat for a week before you plan to travel. I’m not kidding. Enough about the food. We were blessed with gorgeous weather, even in Strahan and it only has 28 days of sunshine a year so they say. Apparently that was due to Leanne!!! You’re welcome. (You’ll get that if you travel with Leanne and Chris.) The scenery was spectacular, out of this world, mind blowing….. Remember everything is included. The helicopter flight over Wineglass Bay was one of my favourite highlights. The Gordon River cruise, the West Coast Wilderness Railway, Port Arthur and Richmond were right up there. If you don’t do the Bruny Island tour think about going back to Richmond or visiting Mona or just soak up glorious Hobart. My brother needed a break, long story but said how much he enjoyed the tour. He would be keen on doing another tour with Fun Over Fifties especially if Leanne and Chris were involved. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and thoughtfulness that they showed him. They made his trip. I'm thinking about how soon into our trip that someone asked if we were the best tour group. I thought to myself that you couldn't ask which child was your favourite or which class, job etc But for Leanne and Chris to be kept asked the same question every single trip, there is one common denominator and that was them. They made everyone feel special.

Fantastic experience: We had a great time with Greg and Lyndall on our Eyre Peninsular trip we were well looked after and couldn't have wished for anything better, great company great food and fun all the way

Fantastic experience: Just completed 11 day Grand Tour of Tasmania with Fun Over 50 Holidays and all I can say is - Wow - What an experience! I had no idea of the history in Tassie, the sights and experiences were simply amazing. And don't get me started on the food! We were fortunate to have husband and wife team, Chris and Leanne as our driver and host. They're so welcoming, passionate and knowledgeable about what they do. It didn't take Leanne & Chris long to turn a group of strangers into a fun loving family - Funstars! Their on-board banter was not only refreshing but comforting. The coach was very comfortable with plenty of room and where many friendships formed. Can't wait to plan my next trip with Fun Over 50 Holidays! And as Leanne would say 'Your Welcome'.

Fantastic experience: We arrived back from our Canberra for Floriade trip for fun over fifty. Well what can we say the Diamond Class Bus was full of luxury and comfort. The coach captain Greg and he very lovely tour host Lyndall were magnificent, kind and considerate and highly professional. Fantastic experience: The New Zealand Fun over 50 ''Natural Wonders Tour" was everything I had anticipated and more. We had the exceptional Annette as our Tour Guide and delightful Dave as Coach Captain. They worked together seamlessly to provide our tour group with the best possible experience in this wonderland of New Zealand. The planning and execution of this tour left nothing for the tour group to do but sit back in a very comfortable coach and enjoy the scenery. Fantastic experience: Our recent Fun Over 50 Tasmania Grand Tour exceeded all expectations. From the first day Coach Captain Chris and Tour Host Leanne made us feel most welcome. Leanne provided very detailed information of every place we visited. Chris, supported Leanne with additional local information whilst making us feel comfortable and safe in the new Diamond class coach. Their attention to every detail while touring made this a memorable experience. Throughout the entire eleven days all accommodation and meals were of the highest standard. Fantastic experience: Shared a wonderful "Tasmania Grand Tour" adventure, in September, led by Leanne and Chris. All 25 Funstar guests were treated equally and inclusively to lots of fun, laughter, adventure awesome attractions and scenery. Leannes attention to detail ensured we had great seats on all excursions and good views at accommodation. Fantastic experience: Both myself and my husband John have just returned from our Best of the West and Wild Flowers tour from the 12th to the 25th September 2024. We had the best time travelling through Western Australia. Congratulations to Anne our Tour guide and Evan our coach driver from Pinnacles coaches they both made our tour fun and enjoyable and the group we travelled with were fantastic we made some amazing friends.

Positive experience: Best of the West and Wildflowers 8th September 2024. We really enjoyed this 14 day holiday, where we travelled 3,700 klms by very comfortable coach to follow the Wildflowers and to see the sites. The staff of Neil, Brett and driver Darren could not have been better. It was like a 3-person comedy act and we were always having a great laugh. The itinerary was very well organised and we saw everything that was on our route. The accommodations were good and comfortable and the meals were plentiful. The staff did everything to make our holiday the best it could be. My only concern is the company's policy that you can be asked to leave the tour if you develop any infectious disease - i.e. cold, flu, covid etc. Covid I can understand, but if you come down with a cold I feel that is very harsh. We have travelled with many tour companies and I have never come across that restriction before. I do understand a cold can go through a coach easily, but you have paid a lot of money and I feel pretty sure that travel insurance would not pay you if you were asked to leave a tour and return home if you had a cold. It will make me think twice about booking with them again. People can be asked to sit at the back of the coach and wear a mask and our coach captain did mention this at the start, but it makes you feel anxious. Other than that a great and professional tour company

Fantastic experience: The Best of the West & Wildflowers tour we have just returned from was simply fantastic. The itinerary, the scenery, the tour hosts and coach captain all contributed to an exceptional experience. Best wildflower season didn't hurt either. Thanks and well done Fun Over Fifties.

Fantastic experience: This was our third holiday with Fun Over 50. Along with 23 other FUNSTARS we got to visit Kangaroo Island, Fleurieu Peninsula and finished off with a 4 Day Cruise on the PS Murray Princess. Fun Over 50 tours are all inclusive and really take the worry out of planning, organising, booking etc. for your holiday. You can be guaranteed all your meals, tours, flights, accommodation will be taken care of, and you will be kept well informed prior to departure. If travelling on a coach, you get a knowledgeable and safe driver with just the right amount of commentary. This last tour was well organised and included visits to many interesting and beautiful places. Our tour host Judy was always available and super organised. Best of all, is that we had lots of fun with our fellow travellers, making new friends, sharing experiences and travelling in this beautiful country.

Fantastic experience: We just returned to Brisbane from the Best of the West and Wildflowers tour run by Fun Over Fifty. This was a thoroughly enjoyable and meticulously planned and executed bus tour by the Queensland company. Most of the tour participants were from Queensland and we flew to Perth together from Brisbane on a Virgin Airlines flight booked by the company. One of the beauties of this tour was that every detail had been organised for us, leaving us to just turn up to the bus on time. The tour itself lasted twelve days, going north from Perth to Geraldton; west to Dallwallinu and Wave Rock; south to Albany; then east to Permberton, Bussellton, and back to Perth; with frequent stops to take in the sights. All meals except for one were included, as were all the attractions that we stopped at, and the accommodations were excellent. It is fair to say that most bucket list items were covered, such as Rottnest Island, the Pinnacles, and Wave Rock; but also many places I had never heard of such as New Norcia, Pink Lake, the Sky Walk over the Murchison River, and many more. The Fun Over Fifty team of Darren, Neil, and Brett were highly experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated to our comfort and safety as well as keeping us entertained. We could not have hoped for a more comprehensive and enjoyable tour in 12 days given the vast distance covered.

Fantastic experience: I recently went on the Singapore Spectacular tour; it was a fantastic experience. Tour Host Andi was great, and made sure everyone was well looked after, and we saw and experienced lots of things. The local tour guide was very good also and made sure we saw and heard about the history of how Singapore became the thriving place it is today. The other guests on the tour were all very friendly and we got on with each other well, I considered them to all be Fun Stars as they looked after each other and were great company. I've been on several tour with this group and they all have been great, and you are well looked after.

Fantastic experience: DARWIN TO BROOME was a laugh a minute all the way with thise two professionals Neil and Russell. Incredible amount of information and experiences expertly handled with great care and attention to everyones wellbeing. Will love to travel agin with them both. Fantastic experience: Both Greig and I had an awesome holiday, made all the more special by our Tour Driver Troy and Tour Host Extroadinaire Arcadia. The size in numbers was perfect (23) and the length (14 days) of the holiday from Darwin to Broome, just right. Nothing was too much trouble, from noting peoples favourite biscuits, then buying them for the next days morning tea, to stopping at a particular shop, not on the itinery, to pick up a few items. Our favourites were the three scenic flights 1) Kakadu, 2) The Bungle Bungles & Lake Argyle, 3) the Horizontal Falls and flying over the Buccaneer Archipeligo, Cape Leveque and following whales breaching as we flew back to Broome. Other favorites were travelling by boat through 1) Katherine Gorge, especially finishing with a dinner cruise sampling crocodile, kangaroo & baramundi all cooked using native herbs 2) cruising Kakadu and having a Guide that knew where the Crocodiles were and the names of local birdlife 3) a fantastic cruise along the Ord river to Lake Argyle's dam wall - stupendous. Unfortunately there is usually a negative or two. Staying in Halls Creek and Fitzroy Crossing had its challenges. Hotel accommodation in both is old and needs refurbishment, but very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff at HC motel were fantastic, did everything in their power to make the stay as enjoyable as possible, whereas in FC, staff were challenged in many ways and I don't think our stay was their priority. Lastly our anticipated "Gold Coach" had to be replaced due to sheduling. Whilst the alternative was relatively new, the Coach did not have the features that were anticipated. However having said that, our Driver & Host did a wonderful job of improvising. This did not substantially effect our tour. Overall we are reccommending our friends to take this tour.

Positive experience: Just came back from my holiday with fun over 50 holiday s it was very good went from Broom to to Perth . We had a wonderful tour host name Vicky and the bus driver was Luke . They were very caring, looked after us very well. We seen some lovely places , ate some great food and l meet some lovely people.l would have like to spend a little more time in some places , But l do understand, l most likely be booking other holiday for next year .it is very good to see other places

Fantastic experience: I just returned from the Western Wanderer tour and had a fantastic time. Vicki, the tour hostess and Luke, the coach driver, made our holiday so much fun and gave us so much information on the places we went. Everything was well organised and the motels we stayed in were great. 98% of the meals were good and we were never hungry. I can't wait to go on another tour with this company. Definitely a great company who organises everything for you. They are real FUN STARS !!

Fantastic experience: The "Funstars" were out for this tour of Sth. W. Queensland & Lightning Ridge. There were many happy moments and everything was so well organized. The tour host was fun and all the tour group joined in any activities. We have been on a number of Fun Over Fifty tours, and they are always very well planned. Recommend them to anyone. We are booked on another for Christmas.

Fantastic experience: The Fun over 50’s Darwin , Kakadu, The Kimberley & Broome Tour I had the absolute pleasure to drive was nothing less than spectacular ! Arcadia is by far the host with the most . Arcadia made the tour a delight with her incredible personality , amazing organisational skills , calm and delightful demeanor , and all around can do attitude . This made the tour flow seamlessly Putting all guests at ease from the very start . And what an awesome bunch of people on tour . I will forever remember this tour and the conversations had and friendships made . Sensational !!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing company. We returned last week from our Darwin,Kakadu, The Kimberley & Broome tour. Everything is well planned and organised, from accommodation, food and tours. A special thanks to our lovely tour host Leanne and our fantastic coach driver Chris, nothing was to much trouble for them and they went above and beyond. Our fellow FUNSTAR travellers were a very happy group and we became FUNSTARS family. Highlights! To many to choose from- flying over Lake Argyle & Bungle Bungles range to flying by sea plane over the Horizontal Waterfalls & Buccaneer Archipelago to a boat ride to the Horizontal Falls, it's all just amazing A special mention to Russian Jack's Bar & Restaurant at Halls Creek Motel, the food and staff were amazing. The Hoochery Distillery guided tour & tasting was very interesting, but possibly a bit to long and drawn out for some FUNSTARS. I would have liked to see & participate in more cultural activities. Overall we had an amazing time and value for money. I hope to meet more FUNSTARS in the future.

Fantastic experience: Recently returned from “Icons of the Outback” tour. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!! EVERYTHING paid for - EVERYTHING extremely well organized. Brilliantly done Lyndall, Greg (& bonus driver )!! Every part of the tour was a highlight!!! (Except, searched everywhere, but couldn’t find Sam Neill @ Winton!!)

You're made to feel extra special from start to finish for the entire trip. Fabulous and I can't praise them enough for the trouble they went to especially for me that has dietary requirements. Fantastic experience: I can thoroughly recommend the tour of Darwin, Kakadu, The Kimberley & Broome. This was my first tour with Fun Over 50 Holidays & I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was such a great experience. The tour leaders Judy & Russell went above & beyond to make our holiday one we will remember. We also got to meet tour leaders Leanne & Chris & if you have them on your tour you are going to be so lucky !! If you are unsure about whether to go or not just do it because you won’t regret it !!

Fantastic experience: A most wonderful experience beyond my expectations. I cannot say how much Chris and Leanne looked after the whole group. They made each and every one of us feel special. Nothing was too much trouble. Our accommodation was comfortable, food terrific, entertainment on the coach so that any drawn-out stretches were not noticed. We gained knowledge of the areas we travelled through and an appreciation of the history of our beautiful country by way of various visits. I totally recommend Fun Over Fifty and cannot thank Chris and Leanne enough for being our Tour Guides.

Fantastic experience: I have recently returned from my Savannah/Gulflander Outback tour with Fun Over 50's. This trip covered multiple places and activities of interest to me, and did not disappoint. Tour Host Vicki was brilliant, ensuring all guests were relaxed, happy and enjoying the tour program. Our group was 18 guests, Vicki and driver Simon. a perfect number, allowing us to spread out thru our Diamond class coach (capacity 26). perfect. The highlights for me were Cobbold Gorge, the gorge river cruise and helicopter flight over the gorge. Fabulous!!! The Udara Lava Flow Tubes were amazing sights / creations.The story of their creation is incredible, and hard to imagine. Last but not least was the Savannahlander train journey. This was a definate must for all who travel tho this area of The Gulf. If you have not been to Cobbold Gorge and Under Lava Tubes, it needs to go on your "bucket list" I highly recommend our Tour operators Fun Over 50's for a wonderful, and FUN filled experience. I will definitely be looking for other tour to travel with them in the future

Fantastic experience: Just been on the Kati Thanda – Lake Eyre in flood, Coober Pedy & Flinders Ranges departed 17th July 2024. What a wonderful experience we enjoyed every minute of our trip. Our tour host Judy was fantastic and so was our driver Michael. They both catered to everyone’s needs and requests and were very informative and friendly. Could not have asked for anything more. All the destinations were all great.

Fantastic experience: What an absolutely fantastic experience. The Gold Class coach was luxury, our Coach Captain Russell is an excellent driver with a wealth of information on the lands that were crossed, and our delightful Tour Host Neil went above and beyond to ensure that we had a truly memorable experience. Nothing was too much trouble for these two and they complimented each other so well with their humor and organisational skills. My fellow travellers were fun to be with and they all looked out for each other which is so nice to see. The dinner cruise, the wetlands, Lake Argyl, the scenic flights, the accommodation, the camels on Cable Beach, so much delicious food... I am really glad that I went on this trip with Fun Over 50, I was able to see and do things that would have been nearly impossible if I had tried to do them by myself. Happy to now be one of the FUNSTARS. If you want to behold some of this vast, magnificent country and learn its history while touring in relaxed comfort, I cannot recommend Fun Over 50 highly enough.

Fantastic experience: We’ve just come back from the Darwin to Broome coach tour. What else can I say but, fantastic. Top marks to Russell & Neil as Coach Captain & Tour Host. I would go so far as to say they’re the best. Loved all the destinations & the camaraderie with the touring group, most of whom were over 60. I would highly recommend this company & this particular tour.

Fantastic experience: Our Hostess Leanne and Coach Captain Chris made this the most enjoyable tour from Brisbane to Hervey Bay where we stayed 5 nights with day tours to Whale Watching, Fraser Island, Bundaberg with several interesting stops along the way. It was a small group. My only disappointment was the Maryborough tour with an external host who came onto the coach to show us the sights but no time to get off even when he described the "Cistern Chapel" at the Town Hall. All other tours were first class. Would travel with Fun Over 50 again.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have just returned from the most amazing Fun Over 50 Queensland tour of the "Icons of the Outback" on the all inclusive Spirit of the Outback and Diamond Coach. Our tour host, Lyndall and coach captain, Greg were exceptional in everything they did. The highlight of the trip was Toogunna Plains Station, a sheep property of 130,000 acres near Eromanga. Fantastic experience: I’ve just returned from my first Fun Over 50 tour. I was on the Darwin Kakadu Kimberley and Broome tour for 13 days and this trip certainly exceeded my expectations. Everyday was filled of surprises with amazing scenery, local cultural experiences, wildlife, and great company. Russell the coach driver was not only a safe driver but a commentator extraordinaire whose knowledge of the history, ecology and geography of the Top End was inspiring. Vicki the host was efficient and organised as well as kind helpful and entertaining . I loved every minute of this trip and would recommend that you “do yourself a favour” and book a tour with Fun Over 50. I’ll be booking another !

Fantastic experience: June 2024 Our tour of Darwin, Kakadu, The Kimberley and Broome was more than a bus trip to interesting places. Fantastic experience: From the moment I boarded the Gold Class Coach heading to Darwin, Kakadu, the Kimberley, and Broome, the experience was filled with indescribable sights, comfort, and fun shared with fellow travellers. Our Coach Captain, Russell, provided exemplary commentary, and Tour Host Neil ensured excellent organisation making this Funstar eager for another Fun Over Fifty tour. I could not resist the chance to experience a sunset camel safari ride along the famous Cable Beach in Broome or the Kakadu Ubirr scenic sunset lookout, a 30 minute climb to the top of the rocky plateau.

Positive experience: West coast wanderer we have just finished this 14 day tour starting in Broome and finishing in Perth a great trip The different countryside was amazing we did have long days driving but this state is so big To see Broome so beautiful and the colours of the water amazing then onto Port Hedland and the contrast of the red soils and salt mines was unbelievable

Immersed in the local culture with Indigenous guides, seeing the awing inspiring landscape by coach, scenic flights and cruises added to the understanding of the beauty and vastness of the region. Fantastic experience: Not long back from the New Zealand Natural Wonders Tour. What can I say! This tour far exceeded my expectations and my expectations were set pretty high. A fabulous trip with spectacular scenery and so many wonderful experiences by bus, trains and boats. Our tour host Arcadia was fantastic and made travelling very enjoyable and entertaining along with our fabulous driver Tracy. Fun Over 50 certainly lived up to its name. I loved every minute of this trip and I can't wait to book another one.

Fantastic experience: Currently approaching the end of the West Coast Wanderer Tour, what a wonderful experience. Fantastic sights, unique experiences and great meals to fill all of us each day. Motels, even in remote locations, were all very comfortable and keen to make us welcome. Tour host, Annette and driver both looked after us very well and ensured we all enjoyed our selves each and every day.

Fantastic experience: New Zealand-Land of Many Contrasts April 2024 Solo The recent New Zealand Natural Wonders Tour was meticulously organized by Fun Over Fifty, ensuring our group of Aussie Funstar Travellers experienced an unbelievable adventure. We were captivated by the magnificent, green rolling hills, interspersed with woolly white sheep and black and white dairy cattle grazing contentedly on the lush pastures. This idyllic scenery will be treasured forever in our memories. An early highlight was the Bay of Islands cruise, through the stunning beauty of these pristine islands and along the Cape Brett Peninsula. Our incredible skipper, Kate, skillfully manipulated the large catamaran through the awe-inspiring Hole in the Rock. The visit to Waitangi Treaty Grounds was a poignant journey of discovery to this historic site where in 1840 the Treaty of Waitangi was signed. At the award winning Kauri Museum in Matakohe, we learnt about the ancient kauri trees which once covered northern New Zealand. Stories about the gum diggers who worked in the old kauri fields were enlightening. What a magical experience, the Hobbiton Movie Set tour was, with everyone enthralled with the spectacle of the colourful Hobbit doors scattered along the hillsides. After the thrill of exploring a real Hobbit house we enjoyed a refreshing ale at the Green Dragon Inn followed by a delicious buffet lunch, fit for a hungry hobbit. Te Pula was a geothermal wonder, showcasing bubbling mud pools, turbulent geysers and a traditional Maori concert. As the sun set, we sipped hot chocolate while sitting on the hot rocks. The ultimate Geyser by Night display was a never to be forgotten sensory spectacle. The Cook Strait ferry crossing was unpredictably smooth and very picturesque. On the train journey from Picton to Christchurch, we encountered scenes of spectacular grandeur along the rugged coastline. At the Antarctic Centre, we saw, touched and fell in love with Antarctica, by braving an Antarctic storm, going off-road in a Hägglund snow vehicle and meeting adorable penguins and huskies. The Tranz Alpine train route dramatically wove through cliff-lined river gorges, over high mountains and around pristine mountain lakes to the wild west of New Zealand. Amazing mist filled highways led us to Franz Josef Glacier, a truly exhilarating experience seeing beauty and power in slow motion. Queenstown was a beautiful town with breathtaking views of the snowcapped Remarkables Mountain Range and the exquisiteness of the blue hued Lake Wakatipu. Milford Sound, set amongst jagged towering sea cliffs with cascading waterfalls was another mind blowing experience with our incredible overnight stay aboard the Milford Mariner. Dunedin was exceedingly cold and windy, but the Scottish architecture was spectacular. Larnach Castle, located high on the Otago Peninsula, was a magnificent building On our Monarch wildlife cruise to Talaroa, it was bitterly cold even with the complimentary waterproof jackets. However we were rewarded with sightings of sea lions, seals and the beautiful white albatross. Our skipper informed us that after the young albatross leave their breeding ground they won’t touch land again for four years. How extraordinary!! There were many other fantastic experiences in towns too numerous to mention. Delicious meals, often served in very scenic locations, were always top class as well as the accommodation. Our excellent Aussie hostess Arcadia was not only exceedingly professional but also lots of fun. Tracey, our New Zealand coach driver was an outstanding driver and skilled coordinator, who expertly twigged the original itinerary ensuring we saw many little hidden gems only a local would know about. Tracey’s also expertly pronounced the difficult Maori place names. If you haven’t explored the Land of the Long White Cloud, be sure to book on the next Fun Over Fifty Tour later in the year. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: My husband Glenn and I have just returned from our Fun Over 50 Kati Thanda - Lake Eyre, Coober Pedy and Flinders Ranges Tour. A beautiful experience to see Lake Eyre and Wilpenna Pound from the air. The little towns and large towns on the trip were also great to see. Our accommodation and meals were very good. Our guide Judy and bus driver Mike were great host and very knowledgeable. We would recommend this tour and hope to go on more Fun Over 50 tours. I would like to suggest that this tour be extended by one day at Coober Pedy to enable guests to explore the opals fields and town - maybe find some opal. Thank you for a most enjoyable holiday. Fantastic experience: Our 2nd tour and once again met all our expectations. We went DIAMOND CLASS which was excellent. Tour was Outback QLD Gulf Savannah Safari. Both Coach Captain & Tour Hostess made the tour more enjoyable with their knowledge and efficiency. Highlights for us were helicopter flight and tour of Cobbold Gorge and Karumba sand island sunset dinner. We would highly recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: This was my first trip with Fun Over Fifty travel, and I loved every minute of it! I was nervous initially as my darling Husband passed away 20 months ago, so I was travelling on my own. Our lovely hostess, Annette, greeted me at the airport and made me feel welcome immediately. Our trip was the Ghan and Red Centre Sensation, so I ticked off two bucket list items at once, travelling on the iconic train and seeing Uluru and the red centre. Once we got off at Alice Springs, our coach driver Dave ensured we were safely transported to our destinations. Nothing was a problem, and the trip was so well organised it was a breeze. We had the best accommodation and meals, and nothing was rushed. I love that we got to spend 2-3 days in places without having to pack up at daybreak every day to be back on the road. I would recommend Fun Over 50 travel to anyone wanting a well-organised, fun, value for money holiday.

Positive experience: My husband and I are just home from the "Inland Explorer Tour". We had a fabulous time . Leanne was very welcoming and took great care of us as well as shared a lot of information about the areas we travelled through. Fantastic experience: April 2024 Man from Snowy River trip. We had 25 passengers and 2 crew. Loved Corryong, Thredbo luge and lunch great. Mint Exhibition, War Memorial and Parliament House interesting. Itinerary was well done. Neil the Guide had us well informed with schedule times, menu choices, things to do and see. Simon was a great driver and his infinite knowledge impressive. Lodging was clean very comfortable and staff friendly. Meals were very good. Especially breakfast at Tumbarumba Motel and one dinner. The best thing about the trip was the friendships and laughs between passengers and crew. Best trip ever. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Fantastic experience: Have recently returned from new tour introduced by FOF - a winner, from a night spent at Western Plains Zoo (with giraffe feeding and safari drives) to the spectacular expanse of Mungo National Park, once a massive lake. The guided walk to the Walls of China revealed fossils of shell and bone. Chris and Leanne, our driver and host, are an exceptional couple, thoroughly professional and personable (I travelled with them last October on the Victorian Rover trip. I have now taken several tours with FOF and have more booked this year. I would thoroughly recommend these tours - very well organized and almost everything included in the cost.

Fantastic experience: Thoroughly enjoyable Norfolk Island trip. Vicki, our tour guide, was excellent, fellow travellers were friendly, and we were all saying it was our best trip ever. That's not to say it couldn't be improved with a little tweaking of the itinerary because of some repetition. For instance, on our first day we were taken on a half-day island tour. Then in the afternoon half the group went on an Island Adventures 4WD tour which I found to be substantially similar to the morning tour, except we weren't in a comfortable bus. The final part of the 4WD tour was a demonstration by 'Greg' on how to turn plants into straw, then weave the straw into hats. This was informative and interesting , but the next morning on our Island Culture tour, the first thing we saw was 'Greg' giving the straw making, hat weaving demonstration again, word for word. Not so interesting the second time around. I would therefore scrap the repetitious 4WD tour in favour of a visit to Colleen McCullough's house or other points of interest. Apart from this one tour, all other excursions were very, very enjoyable, accommodation and meals were excellent, and no hesitation in recommending Norfolk Island as a place to visit, especially with Fun Over 50.

Fantastic experience: Just completed the Fun over 50 holiday from Brisbane to Melbourne with other like minded”fun stars”. We had great stops at Dubbo Zoo, Mungo National Park and artworks on the Silos. Professionally driven and hosted by Chris and Leanne all FUNSTARS on board agreed it was a brilliant trip. We will most definitely travel with Fun over 50 holidays again.

Fantastic experience: Eventhough the Silo tour 2024 was the first run, Chris and Leanne were so professional in their organisation and timing that everything was magic. They had the experience to know what worked and what didn't, they were passionate about making everybody happy, and nobody got lost. It was the best group of travelers ever, and Chris and Leanne on their, "magical gold coach, " were such an, "in sync team". So I can say, "I traveled with the Funstars and they were awesome."

Fantastic experience: My mother and I recently enjoyed a lovely four day tour of Stanthorpe and the surrounding region. We visited the Apple and Grape Harvest Festival, including the Grand Parade and Food and Wine Fiesta. From start to finish the trip was entertaining and informative. Our Coach Captain Russell and Tour Host Neil looked after our every need. All the Funstars seemed to be enjoying the whole experience immensely. Well done Fun Over 50, another fabulous tour.

Fantastic experience: Tamworth Country Music Festival This tour was a great introduction to the Tamworth Country Music Festival for us. The tour leader, Lyndall, and coach driver, Greg, were both delightful and attentive to individual needs. They went out of their way to help us with information on the festival, both background and current, which really enhanced our enjoyment of it. The two live shows which were included as part of the package were first class. The Fun Over 50s bus was extremely comfortable and the accommodation excellent. The activities planned for the journeys to and from Tamworth also made the whole trip interesting.

Fantastic experience: This trip was well organised and the days were full to capture every experience along the journey. The accommodation was lovely, but the stand out was Hobart at Grand Chancellor overlooking the marina it was amazing. Breakfasts were buffet and then same at dinner, if not we had 2 courses at dinner. Food was plentiful. Judy our tour manager was patient and professional and would play games and bring out lollies on the bus some days to break up the long trips. John the bus driver was funny and his commentary was informative. We felt safe with his driving at all times which is important. All the attractions we visited as a group were well organised and ran smoothly. The people on the tour mixed well and we gravitated to some that were like-minded and fun. Overall having everything included was great, taking the planning and organisation out of the holiday and enabling us to sit back and enjoy it. We would suggest taking cash on this trip as most places due to limited wifi or preference wanted cash. This was a mother-and-daughter trip we thoroughly enjoyed it however it does suit an older age bracket than 'Over 50" as the name suggests. J&P Maggs

Fantastic experience: Just back from Jacaranda Festival in Grafton and really enjoyed the tour. Annette was very helpful with everything & Simon a great driver and font of information. Angourie resort was very relaxing. The meals at the Vines in Stanthorpe were just spot on and the desserts delicious. It was interesting to see the workshop at Kent Saddlery and the Christmas Tree farm shop was spectacular. Will do another tour next year.

Fantastic experience: Just back from my Eyre Peninsula Seafood Trail and Barossa Valley Tour, my first time in Diamond Class. Wow! Such a comfortable and roomy coach! This is the third FOF trip I've enjoyed, all of which have been top class! Hostess Lyndall and our driver Greg are a top team and are so well organised. They are great fun and always kept us entertained throughout our journey as we travelled between towns. Nothing is too much trouble. Our meals and accommodation were fantastic and the sightseeing itinerary was excellent. I enjoyed everything, although I'd have to say the Coffin Bay Oyster Farm Tour came in as No. 1 for me ... those oysters are SO delicious!! The best thing about FOF tours is the 'all inclusive' pricing. It really is all inclusive! I have already booked to tour New Zealand next year with Fun Over 50 - can't wait!
