Fantastic experience: We have booked many Luxury Escape packages and always been happy. Staff are always pleasant and helpful and we have been especially impressed with the follow up support provided by Imran M on our most recent query.
Negative experience: UPDATE 3! After another long phone call with LE, they told us that they spoke to both the Hotel (Millennium Palace Marina) and Expedia regarding and said that the Hotel denied the cancellation. Which now proves that LUXURY ESCAPES doesn't care about the people that choose them and only care about a pay check. We got them to put it in writing what they said and we spoke to the hotel and Expedia and both said that LE is lying to us because only they can cancel a booking because there the ones that booked it in short words... Which makes sense. Dodgy. UPDATE 2! If anyone has to call as much as we have, just put elevator music on as the on hold thing. I'm sick of hearing podcast and bs about how amazing LE is. "phone call is recorded For training and quality control". WHAT QUALITIES?! Not one customer service team member speaks English as there first language and everyone keeps saying "let me sort this out for you" and then they put you on hold for hours till the the point you just hang up and call back to then explain the whole issue again to another incompetent person... Or they just hang up on there end after awhile. UPDATE! 2 DAYS NOW OF TRYING TO CANCEL BOOKING AND 3 COMPANYS SCREWING US AROUND. The hotel says they can't do anything and to speak to LE, LE is saying there trying to speak to Expedia, but we were able to speak to Expedia and they tell us to speak to LE about it as the can't do anything. Not one of these companies have any idea. LE BETTER BE PREPARED FOR OUR RETURN TO MELBOURNE. LUXURY ESCAPES IS DODGY! After arriving at our destination and hotel (before checking in) we had a unfortunate sudden change of plans. We tried calling and online chat with LE on how to go about cancellation and refund before we check in to the hotel. We started trying to contact LE since 3pm on the 10th. We were on call waiting for a couple hours in the lobby, because the staff here said it's covered under LE policy and had nothing to do with cancellations and that we had to speak to LE. We were never answered, didn't get a call back or a helpful chat response. Now it was getting late and we had no choice to check into the hotel and stay a night because it was to late to leave. After checking in and losing our minds on what to do we decided to sleep for a few hours. 2am 11th and still no response so we tried calling again and This time someone answered us and explained that we could get a full refund if we haven't checked in before 7pm 10th but they'll have to confirm with the hotel in the morning at 9am 11th!?!?! And now because we checked in, because LE didn't answer we not only had to cancel the booking and leave but we also couldn't get a refund CAUSE WE CANCELLED DURING OUR STAY! If Luxury Escape just answered us between 3pm and 7pm on 10th when we arrived, everything would have been fine but now we've lost out on a holiday and money. It seemed like it was there plan the whole time not to answer us so then they still get paid. Picture attached is one of MANY TIMES, they answered and then said, "we are sorry this has happened, let me sort this out for you..." On hold*

Fantastic experience: We booked a two night stay with Luxury Escapes at the Hunter Valley and due to unforeseen circumstances had to change our plans. We contacted Luxury Escapes via email but received a repones saying the change could not be done. We contacted Helwest G at Luxury Escapes however and he worked his magic. In less than 30 minutes Helwest G! had re booked our dates as requested and promptly let us know. Great work Helwest G! - thanks very much!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience! It’s my last day in Nusa dua Bali and I had the hotel transfers booked and ready, however I had to change the location of the transfer due to a sick relative needing help in Seminyak. Initially I was told that it wasn’t able to be changed, so I called back to cancel the transfer and find my own way to the airport from Seminyak. When I called back I spoke to Bill H and he singlehandedly solved all my problems, efficiently and kindly. Seriously some of the best customer service I’ve ever received, he really went out of his way to make sure that this transfer was possible and personally contacted the transfer company himself. Bill helped make a stressful situation better, I really can’t thank him enough.

Fantastic experience: I booked a accommodation package through Luxury Escape and later found cheaper hotel rates (excluding the LE offers included in the package). LE weren't able to match the rate but were helpful in allowing me to cancel my LE booking. Lisa and Azzie (Mohammad) were the Agents I liaised with and both were so helpful and understanding, and got back to me promptly. I had an excellent experience with phoning Luxury Escape.

Negative experience: I booked a cruise through luxury escapes. Am having issue getting the onboard credit as part of the promotion. I emailed them, called them, emailed them again. And no one has bothered to get back despite being told that someone from the cruise team will respond soon. Its being more than 10 days. Its really unacceptable. I've booked accommodation through luxury escapes many times. All had been great until now. Their cruise team is terrible . The cruise team really need to step up and do better.

Fantastic experience: We had a hotel booking for Japan in December but unfortunately had to cancel. Thankfully it was still within the ''Free Cancellation" period. However, while there was some initial confusion and challenge with the process, a couple of the LE team were super helpful, especially 'West' (Helwest G), a gem who was polite and efficient in resolving the matter at the final stage. Fantastic experience: My back went ! It'll be right - time heals right? Not always. Fast forward a few weeks and still walking like a duck. "Mmm" said better half. "Wow" said neurosurgeon. ( You never want a doctor interested in you). "Need to get that thingy away from those nervy things in your back. Cancel all plans we're going in to cut it out". Cancelling an overseas trip upcoming in 3 weeks and getting some refund- with med certificate - surely can't be too difficult. Luxury Escapes was the only performer here. 5 stars to Annabel answering the phone and showing compassion and providing sensible options. Sorted in 24 hours. No stars to Qantas and Tripadeal who seem to need a video of the surgery for a partial refund option and multiple emails and phone calls.

Negative experience: Warning to Potential Customers: Avoid Luxury Escapes I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the service provided by Luxury Escapes concerning a booking issue for our upcoming trip. Luxury Escapes confirmed receipt of full payment for our vacation on multiple occasions. However, the travel provider later informed us that they never received the payment from Luxury Escapes. Despite contacting Luxury Escapes more than 15 hours prior to confirm there would be no issue as we had meticulously planned for this holiday and wanted to ensure everything went perfectly, we were merely reassured that payment had been received and that there were no problems. At no point did we receive any response or support to resolve the issue. That was not the case and our travel provider advised us that they had not received payment from Luxury Escapes. Furthermore, the travel provider declined to accept any additional payments to facilitate this, citing concerns over potential double payment. All they could do was refer us back to Luxury Escapes, leaving us likely to miss out on booking the activities which were the entire reason that we booked this trip. After over 40 hours, 7 phone calls, 2 emails, and more than 25 online messages via their support service and messenger requesting urgent assistance, and after continuously being promised that an agent would contact via phone “soon”…. We FINALLY received an email stating that they had worked with the provider to resolve the issue and that our booking should now reflect as being paid in full, allowing us to proceed with booking activities. However, this response included no apology for the inconvenience and disappointment caused, despite my clear communication that this was an urgent matter, as the activities we had hoped to book would likely sell out within hours of bookings opening. Nor did it address the lack of assistance, the failures that led to this issue, or the failure to return our calls despite multiple requests and reassurances from both their online and phone support teams. There was absolutely no acknowledgment of our disappointment with the service received. This experience has significantly diminished our excitement for what should have been a joyous occasion. Luxury Escapes has demonstrated a complete lack of responsiveness, empathy, and support. I urge potential customers to think twice before using their services. We are incredibly frustrated and disappointed with how this matter has been handled. Through no fault of our own, we have now missed out on the activities we were so excited about, simply due to a lack of communication and action from Luxury Escapes to the travel provider. Luxury Escapes, you need to do better.

Negative experience: Sadly they will not refund a hotel stay due to me unexpectedly testing Positive to Covid-19 two days before my scheduled departure, despite the hotels policy, while Qantas are refunding me everything, even without needing my PCR test results message, despite me wanting to give it to them. And having pneumonia unexpectedly again at the same time. Buyer beware. Safer to book with the hotel direct next time, despite having pleasant experiences with Luxury Escapes in the past. Hopefully my credit cards travel insurance will help me, otherwise that is $499 down the drain. I wish honesty paid here like it should, but it doesn't. Update on the 29/11/24: It turned out that the hotel wanted Luxury Escapes to issue a voucher for use until October 2025 at the same hotel due to the Covid result beyond my control. Turns out no can do due to the travel insurance claim being put through, with a $300 excess as a heavy loss. This company could have issued me a voucher instead of going down the travel insurance route. Luxury Escapes could have maintained the business from someone who was a fan had they offered this as a solution rather than palming this onto the travel insurer. Still cranky with this company.

Fantastic experience: Arrived in Melbourne to start our adventures and found that I hadn’t received an email with my tickets to the Aquarium. The aquarium were no help and advised to contact LE. I thought that’s it I have lost the money that I had spent. I called LE and spoke with Elena H. She understood and advised she would look into it all and get back to me. I had an issue where I was charged for a booking but didn't receive a confirmation, and it was causing a bit of stress. However, Lychota was fantastic in resolving the situation. From the moment I reached out, they were very communicative, providing clear and informative responses. What stood out the most was the personalised approach—they followed up through both email and phone calls, and it was such a relief to speak to the same person each time. They really made me feel like a priority, even though it was a relatively small amount (<$1k). Thanks to Lychota’s diligent follow-ups and attention to detail, the issue was fully resolved within a day. I couldn’t have asked for better service. Positive experience: The star system for reviews is not really an accurate way of grading experiences as there are so many. We have just returned from a 12 day Luxury Escapes Tour of Japan. 5 stars go to our guide Miki who looked after all of us impeccably and was a true professional. 5 stars to the great company on our bus. You were fantastic! 5 stars to magnificent Japan and all the wonders we saw and to the gentle, dignified Japanese people who welcomed us wherever we went. Unfortunately only 3 stars go to LE for their use of the word LUXURY. Apart from 3 hotels which could probably claim to be 4 star, the rest were pretty basic, situated in light industry areas and with little or no facilities. The last one we stayed in, in Osaka didn’t even offer sugar, milk or water in the room!We did all of our cheap and cheerful travelling in our twenties.. to be told that the better hotels were very difficult to book into was an insult to our intelligence especially since we’d booked in Jan 2024! You let us down badly LE.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say I had a lovely experience today with Penny G. I had to cancel my booking as my partner got the dates mixed up and now wasn’t able to change the date with the Hotel I had booked with. I called and spoke with Penny and from the start to the end of the call she was very polite and helpful, explained the best steps to take and then able to do everything I needed with her then on that call. Fantastic experience: Gemma E was incredible, extremely helpful and polite and solved our issue super quickly. After having our flight delayed the morning we were supposed to leave, she contacted the hotel for us and managed to change our booking by a full day. Fantastic experience: Hi All, Gabby S has been fantastic support, in arranging and helping with my first trip ever overseas, planned by myself. I am so looking forward to going to Bali for the first time ever. We had to move the date of the trip, as my partner is going to a work event in Sydney for the 100 year celebration of Woolworths, and we had to move the whole trip to the beginning of November. Fantastic experience: We've had many experiences via the Luxury Escapes group, and all have been extremely enjoyable with that little added luxe experience. Our last trip we booked a kick weekend getaway and very last minute had to change the date due to a family emergency - my absolute gratitude to Bill H for organising the new dates for us. Negative experience: I'm really frustrated and disappointed with the situation for our hotel booking to Goal Coast. We received a confirmation email from Luxury Escapes, but when I reached out to the hotel, they informed me that the booking wasn't successful. This has been quite upsetting for our family, especially for my kids who were so excited about this trip. It's heartbreaking to see their disappointment, and it's added a lot of stress to what should have been a happy occasion. Financially, this mix-up has put us in a tough spot. We planned our budget around the original booking, and now we might have to spend more to find last-minute activities/car rental. What genuinely disgusts me is the lack of care from Luxury Escapes, especially when this issue is entirely your responsibility. I raised the issue last Saturday and kept hearing phrases like "it's escalated" and "it's monitored." Yet, I had to call again and again to finally get someone to involve the resolution team. This truly highlights the lack of customer care and the dysfunction within your organization. Please stay away from Luxury Escapes if you don't want them to sour your vacation!

She was SO helpful, kind and prompt with providing us with a resolution. Fantastic experience: So our holiday went pear shaped from the start with a damaged passport on check in on a long weekend. Over the following 4 days our plans changed 26 times (I may be exaggerating slightly). Both Bill H and Jen C were amazing in assisting us with every change of our very fluid travel arrangements.
