Negative experience: Worst experience with Gaura Travel, we had booked tickets from Sydney to Delhi for January with them but due to personal reasons we want to change the dates and we are ready to pay the difference of fare, when we contacted them they asked us to fill the form through portal but error occurred, we tried with phone laptop but nothing worked, we emailed them but nothing was answered, we contacted them next day, they did not solve the problem, they said they can't do anything, you have to do it online. I don't understand if you can't help the customer then you should be clear when we booked with you. Trying to contact them again and again but nothing is working for us. PLEASE NEVER BOOK YOUR TICKETS WITH GAURA TRAVEL.

Negative experience: Booked ticket for 10 December to New Delhi, the agent who booked that ticket booked as self check in means trough layover i have to re do the customs and it not written on ticket and wasn’t told by agent as well, just before check in airline refused boarding because i supposed to have visa of country for this ticket, when called gaura travel they said can not do anything in that, file a complaint online and does that even teller is not resolving the matter over there, worst experience ever, now file complaint to consumer department regarding these thieves, worst experience ever no one should book with them.

Negative experience: Genuinely a disgusting unprofessional Travel agent, To save money they purposely put all their customers in 1 booking causing all 80 people seats to be scattered around who dont know each other and neither the Airlines, when asked gaura travels mentions the Airline Staff will change at the gate however they cannot help if the flight is heavy due to unavailability. If you dont want to face hassle and seat separated with your family AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

Negative experience: I had the worstest experience in booking my ticket. The bookings employee gave the wrong info and made me pay 5% to secure the ticket. He misheard the email address and I didn't receive any itinerary. They said no refund, instead I can use that money to book my next flinght and they put me on hold for long time, I spend 2hrs 45mins over the phone with them on that day and they disconnect the call at last. Not next time, never ever I am going to book my tickets with Gaura or recommend anyone. One of the employees strictly said 'LISTEN' to me like he is ordering me or I am his slave, no politeness, no patience to hear what customer wants to say, worst customer service. Staff doesn't have enough knowledge on what they are doing, for evetything they say I can't help, I'll transfer your call and they keep doing that, no solution. When it's their fault there should be some considerations for refunds, they can't say it's policy, like it is supreme court judgement which cannot be changed. I highly don't recommend Gaura travels to anyone.

Negative experience: Really pathatic service...I booked a flight through Gaura travel from Brisbane to Delhi..Gaura travels misguided me and booked the ticket with 1 hour 25 min layover at Sydney which was not sufficient for any passenger by recollecting the baggage, changing the terminals and clearing the immigration for international flight. It was my first travel from Australia, so I didn't know these facts which Gaura travel never told me (which are always expected to be taken care by the booking egent). Due to which I couldn't catch my flight in Sydney. I called Gaura travel and they said that I have to book a fresh ticket which was extremely expensive. I checked the airline website and the price told by Gaura Travels is much more than that.. They were trying to encash my bad situation..I was left stranded at Airport with my family and child with nowhere to go..I complained but they ran away saying that its not their fault..This has traumatized me and my family and also hurt me emotionally and financially.. please be aware of such scammers as they never support you in your bad situations..

Negative experience: I booked oneway flight from them with 5% on Saturday night with card then rest of the amount I paid by bank transfer within 24 hours and send them invoice it’s was Sunday so bank hold the amount when Monday morning I went to bank to release fund luckily I call gaura travel to check if they got funds or not they said ticket is cancelled so I was so upset then I asked bank not to release funds to them I need money back because they cancelled ticket ,bank released $ 3664 Back to my account thanks anz for protecting us .. I asked gura travel to refund my remaining amount $192.89 then they said they can’t ..even ticket is cancelled by their side so they want to keep that money . I took …. advice with all the proofs that I can get refund 100% but it will take some time ..now I will submit everything to ATAS if tickets cancelled from our side I won’t ask for refund

Negative experience: We have been scammed and taken advantage of by this company. We had originally booked a flight in January to India but due to a family emergency we had to request a refund for that flight and book a new one immediately. We then called the travel agency and booked a flight and had to pay through payID immediately to secure a ticket as they were not accepting any other payment. We were then assured that the payment and ticket has been secured and will be sent the ticket details shortly. A few hours went by and we followed up a few hours later as we had not received ticket details yet had gotten confirmation of payments and the new flight was booked for tomorrow morning. The agents told us to wait an hour or so and they will send us the details. More time went by and we called again and they repeated the same thing. At 9:00pm tonight we called again as tomorrow morning is the flight and when we followed up to receive the ticket details they told us, “Your payment was received late and a ticket was not secured” but we had been given multiple emails saying to “rest assured your ticket and payment has been complete”. And then we demanded an immediate refund due to the family emergency and need to get on a flight and these agents are telling us to fill out a refund form which can take up to months to return and also cut $700 from your refund even though this is a company issue. And then they are telling us to spend another $1000 on top of the money we have sent to book a new flight for the day after but are not able to give us our money back immediately. We are now stuck with no tickets and no refund. Do not book with Guara Travels they take advantage of your personal situations and literally scam you.

Negative experience: 1st- I wanted to use my credit card so I can be eligible for travel insurance but Gaura Travel has only two options to finalise the booking cost. I.e. Bpay or PayID. Both options wont work ij credit cards unless pay a huge transfer fee. The idea of Gaura Travel is to provide best deals with limited choices of payment options. Funny, can pay initially 5%deposit using credit cards but the 2nd lot. I wasn’t told by the staff untill took 5% off which is non-refundable money. Worst customer service support and the way they take money. 2nd on 10/7/24 Booking number is 188948. Why dont you accept any others ways to pay the remaining funds other than Bpay or PayID? 3rd on 5/10/24 Lovely people, if you want to save money and get the cheapest and shitty travel experience please call Gaura Travel. I gave two chances and thats it.

Negative experience: Big Liars. Dont book with them. I recently bookes my tickets with them. Costed me more to book but was told that these are flexible tickets due to which i agrred and when i went for date change they just said, since we have made changes with the airline directly (which i didnt do) , they cant help. Also afterwards when i checked with airlines, they just told me that travel agent have booked the basic fare flight. I was getting direct price of $3050 with the airline but the agent assisted me to book with them since they are giving flexible tickets for $3300 for which i aggreed. Now will have to pay again for changes. Never ever trust these guys.

Negative experience: Just spoke to an Indian guy named Sachin working in customer service. He hung up on me because I did not want to pay $5 to reserve the seat. He kept on asking even after I told him that I need time to think about it. Very unprofessional and manner less. Need to train your staff to talk in a polite manner!

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience with this company. When I booked my ticket, they informed me that the ticket was flexible, which was why it was more expensive compared to other online portals. They assured me that I could change the dates or cancel the ticket with applicable fees and get my money back. However, now they are saying the ticket is non-refundable. Additionally, they promised to send my e-tickets within 48 hours after full payment, but it’s been over 2 months, and I still haven’t received them. Very disappointed with their service and lack of communication. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: I booked a tickets for my wife and 2 children from Sydney to Mumbai, such that it matched that of another relative travelling from Sydney to Mumbai. A week before the departure date, the airline cancelled the Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai flight. I called Gaura travels to rebook new flights. They messed up the booking such that it did not match with my relative’s itinerary. Poor customer service . Please book directly with airline. The stress is Not worth the savings.

Negative experience: My 1st and The Worst experience ever. I booked tickets for my parents from them and asked about wheelchair as they have medical issues can’t walk. One of their team member named Abhishek said I mentioned in system for wheelchair. I verified again more than 10 times about wheelchair and he said they need to collect medical reports they will provide them wheelchair. I booked tickets for three old people include my parents and paid full amount on the same time.But on the departure time their drama begins. Actually there’s no wheelchair for anybody mentioned in system as airport team told me straight away. Unfortunately my parents had to suffer.Then I call them and asked about the whole cheating then one man over the phone said nobody is here to tackle the situation until tomorrow morning and I am new in this company so have no authority to take any decision.it’s biggest scam and they trapping people and cheating them by saying lies and making false promises about good service. So I would suggest people please don’t waste your money and time. There are 100 better travel options in market. They are biggest cheater as so called Gaura travel

Negative experience: Stay away. It's all good until the payment is made. The real problem arises after that if you have to deal with them. Been calling them every second day to change the date for the return flight. It's a headache. I've been told someone from the so called "date change department" will call us back but nothing. Frustrating as it is, I decided to call the airline directly after which I found out that these travel agents are charging us double for the date change than the airline. When asked about it, the agent from Gaura Travel on the phone couldn't give us the reason for the price difference. Negative experience: Last weekend, we called in to book a ticket, after finding a suitable flight they sent us a pay id to pay for the flights, we paid as guided by the agent over the phone but he kept insisting the money has not arrived but the money has been deducted from our bank.. Unfortunately we booked them on Sunday so they said they can ask their finance team to get back to us Monday but never returned and saying they have not received the funds and have asked us to re book the tickets again. Negative experience: Avoid this Company at All Costs I’ve booked multiple tickets with this ticketing agent, hoping that being a regular customer would mean some level of respect and decent service. Unfortunately, this company has proven time and again that they care little for their customers. They don’t own the tickets themselves, and if a flight gets canceled last minute, they offer absolutely no alternatives or solutions. Every time I called, they assured me they’d resolve the issue within 24 hours, only to ghost me and never follow up. After nearly two weeks of back-and-forth, filled with lies and false promises, I am still struggling to get a refund confirmation. Their customer service is awful, untrustworthy, and utterly frustrating to deal with. They will promise to give 7 days before travel dates.Dont fall for their trap.I need tickets for Bridging B or sometime you will need for other purposes,but they keep telling me that they can't issue tickets. It's a scam they keep ur till last moment to funds their actions. What if they shut down today ,you won't have any tickets to claim.They won't tell these at the time of booking.

Negative experience: Agent over the phone and on the website showing the baggage allowance of 35kg and when e ticket issued it was mentioned 30 kg only. When I had chat with Guara travel staff they said they can do it anything it was selected wrong luggage option while issuing ticket. Bed review with Guratravel, never ever book the tickets with them. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: Had the worst experience and allot of head ache, wanted to book emergency flight, they did helped me find it but all of their staff had no facts straight everyone says different things, we paid twice as they have different mode of payments for different scenarios which is unusual, however when we made payments they asked us to apply for refund from our end where else it should have been done by them by default. Anyway, the flight they booked us for was canceled and no one bothered to inform us when called them and asked about solution they said they cannot do anything because Air india canceled not them, although the person who was on phone asked us to wait or book another flight and pay again. Why the hell are they even travel agents if they cannot help in the situation like that. What ever they did I could have done my self. Purpose of travel agent is not get stuck in all that stuff. I AM GOING TO WAIT FOR THE REFUND. IF ITS NOT DONE THEN WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience so far with them, i have booked one sided ticket from delhi to melbourne in $599 for october . They never sent me ticket and when I requested for ticket they said it will be only sent one week prior. I had this ticket booked for my mother to come during my pregnancy and i got some health issues and needed my mum early I requested them to change or refund me so that i can book somewhere else as due to my health reason i cannot do my day to day duties, they ask me to pay $450 fee on top up of $599 if i need to change and than i call airline to check , airline advised if its medical reason they do not charge any fee that $450 is gaura travel fee…. I again requested them and applied for date change but they refused to waive off the change fee nor they will refund…. I am badly stuck with them…. I would say never book with them as i had booked with other travellers and ever had issue its first time i used them and faced the worst experience of my life… i am taking it further to report to ombudsman but beware people coz it can happen to anyone…… poor business

Negative experience: Reduced rating after 2nd experience. First experience during COVID was good because they operated charted flights. This time decided to book through them for Mum-Mel sector as their prices were less than other agents and direct airline fares. However 2 weeks before the flight I was told that the airline has cancelled our scheduled flight and was offered a flight 1 week before the actual departure which was not suited. I advised them to book on another airline which they agreed however they wanted to charge me more than the price that was shown in the airlines website itself on the day! At the end it costed me the same as what it would have had I booked through the other agents or airlines before the initial booking with Gaura as the fare difference was not much but I am unhappy that they charged me more than the airlines for the same itinerary. So not worth the time and headache of going through these agents. I still expect Gaura travel to review this and get back to me. If they do I will update this review.
Negative experience: Feeling frustrated with @gauratravel_au I booked a ticket for international travel from The booking was done through a phone call. While booking the ticket, the sales person ensured that if dates are changed or applied for refund , a maximum 350$ would be deducted if changed before 72Hrs. After having this confirmed by him a couple of times and getting ensured that the call is recorded from their side and it will be an evidence if any inconvenience is there, I booked the ticket. After some time due to some issue I had to change the dates of flight. I informed them the concern even before 2 months let alone 72 hrs. The response is that 680$ would be charged instead of 350$. This is a total SCAM. To make matters worse, they refuse to acknowledge my calls or address the issue and repeat same answer from 2 weeks that matter will in solved in 24 hrs. This is unacceptable and disappointing service.

Negative experience: I would give zero start if there was any option. Very frustrating experience. Booked over the phone, Saheen booked my tickets. Informed her that i want to book return trip for my brother and add my mum’s flight on the way back to Australia. So that they can come together to Australia. She booked right dates for my mum 31/08 and booked 31/10 for my brother instead of 31/08. I clearly mentioned that i want 31/08 but I am not sure how 31/10 was booked. I checked dates and name on my mum’s ticket and assumed it will same dates for my brother return trip, so just quickly checked his name and DOB but did not pay attention to dates as they supposed to come back together. I had to pay $440 extra to change my brother’s ticket date. Then i requested for seats to be together when my brother and mum when they are coming back together. Saheen confirmed over the phone that seats have been confirmed. And I asked her email it to me but no email was received, so i called back again to speak to her but then she was not available. I requested call back from her which i never received till now. And guess what my brother and mum did not get seats together. They were sitting 8-10 seats apart. Imagine your elderly had to go through this for 12 hour flight. I requested to speak to senior supervisor but could not get to speak to anyone. Then i filled feedback form and requested for call back which i received today from Kajal from 0412338924. She could not help at all and could not answer my questions and she literally hang up the call. I tried calling back x3 times and then she keeps disconnecting my call and then blocked my number. What kind of customer service is this when your agents cannot resolve the issue, why would you even hire them. Why do you make fake promises. Its so frustrating and i am not going to let it go unless something is done about it.

Negative experience: I bought ticket for my cousin sister 28th June Delhi to Toronto. Ticket booked by Harjinder S with few stops on the way . I already explained to her that my sister is on visitor visa but she booked wrong ticket so she refused entry by immigration she has no transit visa of that countries . Same time i bought another ticket $2100 Air India but that was also rejected by immigration but they offered refund. I applied refund 2 months ago on Gaura Travel website but no response. I already contacted few times but they said , our refund team will call you from 2 months but no one calling me back. They only pick your phone if you want new booking if you have booking issue then never respond you back. I am also sharing this message with WhatsApp group and facebook as well with multiple people. Please stay away from them. They are team of cheaters who will rip off your hard work income. Stay Away team of Cheaters. Negative experience: I always booked ticket with Gaura but now they disappointed me I booked my mother in law ticket on 22/08 timing 11:30pm but flight was delayed 5 hour but I didn’t get email that side and park my car in airport as we know they charge 30$ per hour parking after that I wait until 12:30 and pay 90$ for parking and came back home then my mom reached Malaysia flight also delay around 8 hour and she don’t know speak English and she was hungry too when I call to guara customer care they didn’t help me they said it’s not our fault call airline. She was waiting in there but they didn’t get any help help.

Negative experience: Never deal with this company. Absolute thieves. kept calling me when i enquired about ticket. After i paid $500 deposit because of there fault i need to cancelled my tickets. After that real fun starts. they will make excuse on excuse not to pay your money back. Thanks i did not pay for all 5 family tickets in full. Absolute thieves . All they care about is to trick you and get the money upfront. Be aware people . Cheap is not best. Still waiting for my refund.

Negative experience: Big time tricksters. Lure you to book tickets only for monies and misguide customers, don’t bother to inform customers with crucial travel information (passport validity etc) lost $600 just for bcz of it and zero accountability from this travel agent. Their policies don’t allow refund/ cancellation and they charge insanely $450 for date change. Better to buy direct with airlines.

Negative experience: Well Well !, these people have made me almost miss the flight. One of our kids’ passports had less than 6 months left and they never told me anything about this while booking the ticket. I was reading out loud while entering passport expiry dates and there was no alert from customer service person. Only day before boarding the plane, I was trying to book the seats and the system was not allowing that’s when all the alarm bells went off, called these bunch of jerks and they have no answer other than saying sorry and asking me to try my luck at airport. Now they didn’t even have an answer on how to renew the passport in these situations. Instead, they asked me to call Indian embassy, Singapore embassy and Australian embassy. Spent several hours going through this horrific ordeal of calling all these embassies and eventually just before mid-night I called one of my friends who works in Australian passport and because of his suggestion only I was able to get the new passport in time. Now when family reached airport got to know that Gaura have booked other people also part of our family and Singapore airline was saying that others have already added excess baggage and we can’t use our allocated quote for luggage and this happened while returning back too. Under one booking they are creating a pool of tickets and individually email respective persons. Frankly speaking it’s not worth going through these cowboys. Disgusting service. In this small market they are playing too many tricks.Highly recommending to shop elsewhere. Unfortunately, there is nothing less than one star. I feel this agency doesn’t even deserve this.

Negative experience: Gaura travels doesn’t know what is loyalty to customers… loyalty means nothing for them only money … very very arrogant team. Please don’t make 5% non refundable deposit for poor customer service. Other travel agencies provide good customer service and better deals. They gave false details on airline penalties and took 5% money as deposit but when I cross checked it’s all false information. Nobody transferring the call to manager and they holding my 5% money and cheating. Manager doesn’t come on board. Refund team is very very arrogant… you guys have policy to cheat but if people stop choosing you then you guys are zero.

Negative experience: Scam!! Gaura travel deserves 0 star review I had very bad experience with gaura travel. I book my flight with them in 2022 but due to some circumstances I requested them to cancel my flight more than 2 months before the departure date. When I contact them someone said to me I have to pay$ 640 as a cancellation fees but when I booked my flight that time they said there’s no cancellation fees after that I called them again that time different person answered my call and he said to me I have to pay between 200-300$ as a cancellation fee. After calling them few times didn’t get satisfied answer from them then I call airline and they said to me there is no cancellation fee your ticket is fully refundable. When I call them back ask them why they are charging me $640 as a cancellation fees when my ticket is fully refundable and I told them I check it with airline then they said to me I need provide them a proof of your convenience with airline when I provide them everything then they said ok you need to pay $75 as a Gaura travel service fees. I said ok I’ll pay $75 and you can apply for refund. That time they said according to the airline refund will takes 3-4 months but we will ask you to wait for 4-5 months. It has been a year since I applied for my refund and still waiting for it to come back. Now I already had a feeling that I am not going to get anything back because Gaura agents don't even have full info about the process. Each time they make useless excuse or they would just transfer you from one department to other and same answer for everytime emails. Now they stop replying my emails. I feel they get my refund back from the airline and want to keep it in their pocket that’s why they stop replying my emails and calls. Please don't waste your time and money with these fraudulent companies. I made a mistake to go through them and will never going to repeat it. At the time of booking, they call you again and again, and make you feel valuable but when you cancel or ask for a refund, you can only expect excuses. And the agent who book your ticket at the beginning, you cannot talk to that person ever again because somehow they are not available ever after the payment has been made. Stop keeping someone’s money in your pocket. Stop scamming people.. whenever I called Gouri always said to me I will call you back after checking with the airline and never contact me, when I check with the airline regarding why my refund takes two years and airline told me they already processed my refund to the agent and when I ask Gouri airline already processed my refund and why you don’t give me back she said we didn’t get any refund back when I sent her email which I got from airline they stop picking up calls. They just kept my 1600$ in their pocket. I request everyone please do not book your tickets with them.

Flying to India in December can be expensive, and hence Gaura Travel is presenting the DECEMBER JACKPOT! Fly India in December from just $699 " When I called as I directed .. there is no seat in Dec for $699 .... very cheap and blatant lie to get people to call you and there you work hard to sell expensive tickets ...

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. I bout 3 tickets for myself and family. Tickets were refundable. They said $200 cancelation charge on cancel of tickets but when i did cancelwd tickets. I got only less than half of my money. And they did not refund my money till 1 year. They only returned my money after lodging application in vcat agaist them. Donot but tickets frim them biy direcyly from airline.

Negative experience: This business is purely to run scams to rip customers off their hard earned money, by luring into dirt cheap fares, for which they will not issue the tickets until 2 days from journey date. They claim they've pre-booked these seats with the airlinezin order to offer such cheap fares, however they still are unable to get tickets issued!!!! Red flag for me!! When I read their offer T&Cs in detail it clearly indicates that they can hike the fares last minute as per changes from airline or just refuse to issue you a ticket at all, leaving you in limbo!! I've only heard pathetic reviews about post payment service, so save yourself some headaches and possible heartache and book directly with the airlines.

Negative experience: Hi Gaura Travel and their management, What a shameful act you guys are doing. How can someone drop their standards and moral values so low ? Order no. 142768 Last December, My Late. Nephew Jagjeet Singh booked 2 tickets for his parents to visit him from India. But unfortunately before his parents could come and visit him, Jagjeet and his sister Suhani both passed away in an accident early this year. While the whole world came forward to help, Gaura travels looked at it as a money making opportunity. I canceled those tickets in January (2months in advance). The original tickets were for $600 each and after 6 months of wait and hundreds phone calls, Gaura travels decided to charge $450 each ticket as cancellation charges or admin fees and refunded $150each to the parents who lost their only two kids. This might be your money making policy but you should have some shame to consider special circumstances and be fair to those two souls in heaven. Keep your head high

Negative experience: Utterly disappointed with Gaura Travels service. When you call to make a booking, they relentlessly push you and keep calling back until you proceed with the booking. T Once you make the payment, their service dropped dramatically. During the booking, they assured that standard seat selection can be made online in Quantas Manage booking portal at no extra cost, but Quantas charges $50 per passenger to choose any seat before check-in. When I asked this, they assured that is shouldn't be the case and they will get back to me, but they never did. I've called multiple times, and every time they promise a callback that never happens. They could just return the call and accept it being a honest mistake. But they've decided not to respond and ignore. This is not acceptable. This experience has been frustrating, and information provided is misleading. I don't recommend them to anyone and shared my experience to all community groups I'm part of. I am planning to raise this with Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA).

Negative experience: Do not book any travel ticket with Gaura Travel. They are a fraudulent travel agency. I had a bad experience where I booked a business class ticket of my brother with Malaysia Airlines through Gaura Travel. Initially, their agents assured us the ticket was flexible and fully refundable, with free date changes. Unfortunately, my brother was diagnosed with ITP and couldn't travel, so we requested a refund through their portal. Shockingly, they replied stating the ticket was non-refundable. Despite numerous calls and promises, they refused to help, even after communicating with Malaysia Airlines who directed us back to Gaura Travel. When we asked Gaura Travel for a date change, they demanded an additional 1020 AUD, and even then, they didn't provide a solution and we lost our 1500 AUD, Despite providing all necessary medical documents, they did not cooperate. Please beware and do not book tickets through them; they operate a fraudulent travel agency." "Also, they don’t deserve a 1-star rating; this agency was a 0 rating."

Negative experience: If I could give them 0 star, I would have done that. Very unprofessional, they will call you 5 times a day if you don’t buy tickets, but once you bought tickets and have any sort of issue, they are always busy. Don’t waste your time and money. I bought tickets from them, paid them full amount, got confirmation email that your tickets are booked and fully paid. However I didn’t get my e tickets. Four days later they asked to pay $150 more to get my tickets. The agent who booked my tickets didn’t answer any of my calls. Other staff always stated that he is busy. Very disappointed, never do any business with them as it’s wastage of time and money. Unprofessional liars.

Negative experience: Gaura Travel, is cheated me I have booked tickets for my kids and mother in-law. At the time of booking I ask 3 time's to agent is that tickets are payment option, she said yes . Pay only 5%deposit rest pay later. Next day I got call from gaura Travel and saying you to pay remaining amount 24 hours is finish. I said I spoke your agent she said pay later.
