Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with Travel key and the staff working there, especially with the agent called Shane. We gave Travel key the business based on trust and hope that we will be looked after and helped when needed. Our experience was not good at all, myself and my daughter have been given a runaround from August, in regards to the refund of $360 which we were asked to pay for the services not provided to us. Despite of several emails and phone calls we are still ignored and emotionally bullied, threatened and accused of being fraudulent, when it is the agents fault and not ours, for giving us incorrect and misleading information in regards to the seats offered to us. We have been very polite and respectful in our dealing and manners, but the agent called Shane came across as a very rude, aggressive and extremely racist person with condescending attitude towards us, with poor customer service skills. I am absolutely upset with his arrogance and request the agency to discipline the staff to serve customers with due respect, dignity and honesty, as Shane has no right to falsely accuse customers... calling them fraudulent which is unacceptable. Shane a piece of advice please learn to be honest to yourself in future dealings with your customers. I have lost faith in your Agency due to your staffs, inappropriate and indecent way of Dealing with customers.
Hi Meraj, Shane here, the owner of travel key. In August, you requested a refund of $360 for extra legroom seats you said you did not receive. We have emailed you over 7 times in this period requesting copies of your boarding passes to request a refund from the airline. You have refused to provide these. Virgin have advised you sat in row 14 which is the exit row seats. In this instance, Virgin, nor travel key will provide a refund. If you have any documentation or records that state differing information, I am still happy to submit for you as per my continuous communications on the matter. Please email these through to me at your convenience.
Negative experience: As a small not for profit we used Travel key for a program travel. But due to covid program was cancelled. we were promised refund for over 12 months but did not get any refund at all.

Negative experience: Booked a cruise which was canceled over 5 months ago ! Was told 60days for refund and had to pay $110 Admin fee expensive secretary ! Our cruise dates have now been and gone and still no refund. After several emails and phone calls it’s the same excuses that’s it’s not their fault blah blah blah We all know on this day and age how easy and quick bank transfers take companies are quick to take your money if I owed you money you would have the debt collection agency onto me by now and my credit file damaged !! By the looks of the reviews coming through there are plenty of us they are making money from You sold this product take responsibility and do the right thing by your customers !
Negative experience: Booked a Cruise last year to travel to Exmouth this year - and it was cancelled, Travel Key confirmed last year our nearly $900 deposit would be refunded in 60 days minus their Travelkey admin fee of around $110 to transfer the funds back to us. Nearly 120 days later, trips to the Travelkey office in Mt Hawthorn, multiple emails and stories and still nothing? frustrating to say the least
Hi Shane, I can see your refund has been paid. Unfortunately due to no fault of our own (Government forced Cruise Ban) the cruise was deferred to 2023. Anyone that chose not to take a full credit or move to the new date had the option to cancel with a $110 fee. If you chose a credit/new date, you would've actually received a bonus. Unfortunately due to the number of worldwide cruise cancellations, there are significant delays in refunds. Thanks
Negative experience: Booked a cruise it got cancelled offered a refund and told about 60 days less the $110 booking fee, that was 15th of November still no joy and now its 20th of April. There is always an excuse. Seems like an expensive mistake booking through this lot.

Negative experience: I would rate them lower if I could, almost 5 months since my cruise was cancelled and still waiting on our refund, disgraceful they are also slugging us admin fees when it wasn't our decision to cancel. This is money they should be chasing the cruise lines up for, not the people who are supporting their business when it is not our decision to cancel
Hi Shirelle I understand that this has been frustrating (no one was prepared for the Government to extend the cruise ban and force the deferment of the all cruise itineraries). We are sad to see your review as we did not cancel this cruise – the cruise was deferred. You had the option to travel in 2023 or hold your funds in credit with a bonus of on-board credit. When you booked, whilst COVID-19 was already around, you chose to book on a non-refundable rate. We are still doing everything we can to secure a refund for you. We have many guests awaiting refunds and haven’t felt the need to review us poorly for a situation that is beyond our control. We are working tirelessly to secure funds back from the cruise line and supplier. Please know we can only provide refunds once we receive them and we have been working tirelessly to get all our clients refunds back to them. I look forward to the day that we receive all refunds (including yours) and can return them as quickly as possible. Thanks
Negative experience: Super upset. My cruise was canceled mid last year, still waiting on a $1200 refund in which I was told would be returned in 60days. 120 days plus, still waiting. Wont be booking through here again !
