Fantastic experience: My partner and I had a great experience. Last minute booking on the day for a pickup at midnight from airport to drop home in Sunny coast. Very smooth and on time.

Negative experience: What a horiffic experience. Driver blew out two tyres when speeding and proceeded to put my partner in a taxi to get to the destination at 11pm at night. Tried to contact office who does not return calls. Have offered a 50% refund which has not been received after 3 weeks and no return call or refund. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!

Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK! Very bad! stay away! I booked a car to my destination days in advance for an early morning transportation. They did not show up, I waited the 10 minute grace period and an additional 10 before I had to book an uber so I would not miss my flight. I tried calling many different lines with no response. My contact information was listed and yet I had no update of tardiness or that they had cancelled. Horrible!

Negative experience: We booked a stretched limo and what arrived was a 22+ year ford falcon that was falling apart and smelt like vomit and urine inside. The driver made no attempts to make the ride comfortable by offering air freshener etc. I cant understand how this vehicle is allowed to be in service. It is now looking like we will need to take legal action to get some kind of re-imbursement and call the TMR and let them know that public safety is at risk by limo operators allowing old rust buckets driving people around. DO NOT BOOK THE BRISBANE BASED STRETCHED LIMO, YOU WILL REGRET IT !!!

Negative experience: I booked a car from BNE airport to the Gold Coast. I had a change in flight (as often happens with travel), they kept 30% as an 'admin' cancellation fee (they retained more than $100) despite the trip being more than 1 month out. Disgraceful and completely unworkable for a company that is supposed to deal with airport transfers. Will never use them, so they've lost a lot of future business from us.

Negative experience: Booked and paid online for return transfer from an event , these exact details are selectable from their online booking system drop down boxes. We are then told they won't return us unless they drop us off at the event , replied and said that this wouldn't logistically work for us and could we get a refund please. This wasn't an issue but was informed 5-10 days before we will see the refund from them ... So the lonely 1 star is for that only.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting service. We were coming in for our honeymoon and I booked a limo to surprise my husband and they turned up in a jag that was filthy inside - no explanation - no forward warning and NO explanation or offer of even a partial refund because they have 0 contact after they have taken your money. There was no-one waiting for us at the airport so didn’t know where to find them, then we struggled to get hold of them given we are from NZ and thought they had just not turned up. I have emailed the company twice and had no reply. I got an Uber back from the Sunshine Coast that was nicer than the jag and is was only $145 compared to the $400+ I paid to have a limo that doesn’t exist and emails that remain un-answered. Do not book with this company they are a rip off and won’t even communicate after they have taken your money. If I could have given them a negative star rating I would have…disappointed, disgusted and ruined the first day of my honeymoon!!!

Negative experience: Warning!! Do not use these people!! My wedding is tomorrow and they have just informed me that I have to pay extra (days after already paying) for my limo because there is a concert on and they would like to auction it off. I now have no transport for my wedding and have to hope they send my money back so I can find another way, about to cry! Who would do this to someone on their wedding?!

Negative experience: Paid, confirmed driver didn't show and not even a text message to advise at 4:40am I had to find an uber just to make my flight. It also cost 100 more than the Uber. Rubbish service.

Negative experience: Older Holden Caprice picked us up. Travelled from Gold Coast to Brisbane airport in a car with the putrid smell of cigarette smoke. Got out of the car with a pounding headache. Not a pleasant start to our trip. Should have taken an Uber. If you’re paying $231 for a trip the car should not smell of smoke. Really disappointed in on the service

Negative experience: Black bow used to be amazing. I used them years ago a few times. But my last experience I booked them for a pick up at the airport. The guy refused to be at the international arrivals. No sign with my name on it. He made me walk with my luggage to another terminal because he was lazy. The car was nice and clean but this put me off. I walked out and saw so many people with names on their sign. Not mine. I will never use them again.

Negative experience: Please see below an email I sent to Black Bow 2 weeks ago after a very disappointing airport pick up. I used the company for year and it was great, but this experience was disappointing, as was their refusal to respond to me. I have a little feedback on your service last night. I used Black Bow for many years before COVID and was happy with the service, every time. The differences this time was quality and professionalism. Let me be clear, this is not a complaint about the driver, he was a nice guy, it’s about the standards. I was not met in the Arrival Hall, I had not been asked to meet the car somewhere else. I had to call twice to sort it out. There was no sign with my name. The driver was dressed very casually. From what I recall you your drivers were professionally attired. The car was basic Mitsubishi SUV, only in reasonable shape, nothing like the classy, comfortable (and roomy) cars you used to have. I had the feeling that the car was just an Uber you used to fill in. I know you are upfront in your agreement, “The services of other similar Transfer companies may be used during peak times. Although other companies will remain under our supervision, they are governed by their own operational guidelines & operate at all times under their own insurance policies”. But should have told me you would do that so I could decide. Frankly, I could just order an Uber (even a better, bigger car costs $264) given the cost (approx. $350 I think) of your night-time service (which I have always been happy to pay) I am a little disappointed. If you are going to use another company and not let me know I will use alternate transport next time.

Negative experience: DON'T! Just Don't - you will be sorry. This company does not look after their customers. If you have an issue they take umbrage and contest. Provided a Limo that looked like it was pulled out of the shed and dusted off, literally! Then it broke down! The driver was missing a straw hanging from his mouth and would've been better off with a horse and cart. The Limo had duct tape holding the sunroof together! I have pictures. DON'T

Fantastic experience: Excellent 5 star service! The booking was done quick and professionally. I booked their car from Brisbane Airport to Springwood. Their driver was already at the Airport waiting for me. The driver was professional and polite. Felt real amazing and comfortable during my ride. Definitely recommend using their service if you want a nice and comfortable ride back home or anywhere you want.

Negative experience: Zero stars. Very poor attitude and service, I requested a change of time, which wasn't available (fair enough), I then asked for a credit (not a refund) due to circumstances out of my control and was met with unreasonable assertiveness and a lack of caring. I would not recommend this company.

Negative experience: Booked and paid in advance partially due to the guarantees of availability despite potential airline delays. These were very clear in the booking terms and on the website - that they'd watch the time and be there on arrival. Arrived and called to be told they were an hour away, expected to wait with two young kids. They couldn't be more eager to cancel as they'd clearly taken another job in the meantime and stuffed up the timings, which didn't solve our problem of being stranded at the airport, with kids that need car seats, which was the entire point of using this expensive service! After using Black Bow 5 times and copping what was almost a $200 charge for a ten minute journey for the convenience of them being there on arrival and with the right setup for young kids, that is the last time.

Negative experience: No answer at all, no call back to speak with me either, all week at all! Nothing! Very disappointed altogether!

Negative experience: Booked a ride from Ipswich to the airport, while the driver was on time and courteous, the car was a lot left to be desired. for $200 I got an old holden that had no working heater , this is a problem when spending an hour long drive on a 2deg morning , making the trip uncomfortable and dangerous as the driver couldn't defrost his window. When i contacted the company about this I was sent an email 10 days after the fact, telling me they would look into it. Still waiting for a follow up and it's now 3 weeks, save you money and get an Uber.

Negative experience: Do not ever use this company for your airport transfers! I booked this company twice before my trip to Gold Coast, from Gold Coast to hotel, I picked best available, which cost me $75, and three days after that I deliberately booked a Business Service, which was offered for $115, wanting to ride a nice car back to the airport. The $75 trip was fine and the car was nice and clean, a red Camry. That was fine. For my Business Service, they sent me the same car and driver, which I thought, hold on, I ordered a Business Service (different fleet selections) and paid $30 more! So I called the company and said you sent the wrong car. They dared to say: oh that’s the only available car right now as you booked best available. That’s just BS, I booked the trip separately days beforehand, paid separate processing fee and deliberately booked Business not Next Available. If I wanted Next Available, I would have booked a Return trip and paid way cheaper! The lady who took my call insisted that there’re no other options, it was my fault of choosing Next Available and she was quite rude about it. In the end I asked them to cancel the job and refund me fully, which they said they would do. Needless to say the whole drama took almost half hour and I was almost late to the airport. What kind of chauffeur service doesn’t prepare beforehand when the job is booked days in advance! So my advice is, just use taxi service, at least you know what you get.

Negative experience: Don’t ever book with this company! I booked a transfer with them for my family including my daughter who is 11 months old. We requested a car seat and when the vehicle showed up there was no car seat. I tried to contact them via phone and no one answered so I had no choice but to accept the car which was unsafe. I requested a refund for this service and was denied. I would never book this service and would never recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: Price gouging! Booked online for a transfer after a wedding reception (I am not the bride). Paid online and received a call from the company that day. Clarified that it was a wedding I was being picked up from but that I was not the bride and the customer service officer stated that was fine, was just a point to point transfer. Received a call two days later stating that this was a wedding transfer and therefore the price went from $98 to $236! Needless to say I immediately asked for a refund and went with another company...for a much cheaper price!

Negative experience: Worst service for the Gold Coast tour! We the first day driver was late,we did not complain any thing. Second day at morning they send us a bill charged $45 because we late! We have all the information to show we come to the ferry on time. Third day driver offer us leave luggage into the car that we do not need to back to hotel. Then the bus company calling us to pay surcharge of more than $600!!! The lady on the phone are very rude! After arguments with the tour operator, they refused provide more services (we prepaid all three days money) and threaten us to pay additional balance. The bus are no show for the following trip, and some personal belongings we left in the car including shoes and bags still not return to us. The following trip we use Uber and Didi then find it only cost 1/3 of the price and on time service! Much better! Highly recommended not come to them, unless you want to spend more money and less flexibility for you trip!

Fantastic experience: I booked a business class pick up service urgently for my wife coming home with the kids + loads of luggages just before an hour of arrival. First, the lady at the reservation was extremely friendly and helpful. The driver was there waiting for my family on time but my wife missed him so he called my wife and found her. He helped with all the luggages, provided water and candies for the kids and safely got them hime with NO hassle!!! We would definitely use BLACKBOW everytime we travel. Just an advice for other users. They can only wait for an hour from arriving time so if you book the waiting time about 30 minutes later which extends the waiting time. It normally takes an hour or bit more depending situations but this would definitely be helpful for both. Thanks

Negative experience: Due to late arrival of our international flight we missed our domestic connection and as we were in transit we were unable to contact black bow to advise of delay and due to the fact that the domestic flight was running on time black bow went to the airport and hence we were charged full amount even though we did not get the service because we weren’t on the flight .. when I disputed this they replied the domestic flight that we wer booked on was on time so too bad so they took full payment for nothing !!! Despicable!!! What other company gets away with charging the full amount without having to provide the service or product.. could possibly understand a cancellation fee but criminal to charge the full amount ... DONT use this company

Negative experience: We were left sitting outside the venue after close at our own wedding because our car did not arrive. Following up with Black Bow they said it was because we did not pay. After proving that we had paid weeks prior, they blamed the bank for not letting them know despite using their online payment system... Really? Reading previous reviews now, it's not the first time they've done this. Pretty good way to end your wedding. Hope you chose an alternative vendor for yours.

Negative experience: After booking a transfer between Canberra airport and Perisher with Black Bow we paid the full amount due, and thought all was good. Several hours later we received a cancellation email, right before we were about to leave, allowing us virtually no time to organise a different transfer. This company had already accepted our money and took multiple days to get it back to us, causing a major inconvenience to our holiday. It's ridiculous that a company would accept bookings, and the payments for such bookings if they can't honor them.

Fantastic experience: Paul was absolutely fantastic, prompt, very smartly presented, Amazing car, spotless in and out. Paul took excellent care of the whole family. My mother required a little more assistance then most, not a problem for Paul took it in his stride. My father was up front swapping golf stories and having an amazing time showing Paul the short cuts I’m sure he already knew but was delighted to act the part and play along. Negative experience: Not impressed with their customer service at all. They're not flexible with arrangements. I wanted to hire a car for a transfer for a wedding, they want $350 for a ten minute car ride and their terms and conditions are ridiculous. I've booked with someone else instead.
