Fantastic experience: Just wanted to share my fabulous experience in dealing with flight centre fountain gate. Nicola is highly qualified and extremely efficient in her job. She arranged all our travels plans to New Zealand on a cruise, but unfortunately we had to cancel due to medical reasons. Nicola on hearing we had to cancel our trip, she immediately went to work and cancelled all the hotels and transfers and arranged for all the refunds which we have since received . She also went all out to send all the docs needed by my insurance co to claim the flights and cruise. I cannot thank Nicola enough for her hard work and dedication. Fantastic experience: You dont go back to the same travel consultant for a second time if they were not fantastic the first time and that is exactly what Jackson was. We had an original quote to go to Japan for only 8 days with flights and Jackson was able to give us a better quote save us $5k and allowed us to stay even longer. He took his time (1.5hrs) and found us the best deals for both a hotel and flights. He will always be our first choice for all our travel needs.

Fantastic experience: I would like to give a 100% for Hue a young lady at Flightcentre in the Fountaingate shop. She goes over and beyond what I would have expected. She is courtesy, happy, pleasant, helpful, plenty of knowledge, and the follow-up is phenomenal.just briefly we were in NZ and my husband broke his right hip. she organised updating seating, changing flights, just brilliant, can’t say enough about her, without Hue, we would be totally lost.

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much Kirsty, we recently booked our first family holiday and she made it so easy! Kirsty put everything together in a package deal for us with flights, transfers, hotels, and activities even the insurance she took care of it all. Travelling overseas for the first time with 2 teenagers (who had never even been on a plane) Kirsty made it so all l I had to do was pack and show up at the airport and her tips and tricks made it the perfect. Fantastic experience: Caryn was absolutely amazing, she was able to answer all my questions and was patient with them (I had a few), I gave clear instructions on what I needed and she delivered on everything I wanted for my trip. These five starts are because of her. She smashed it out of the ball park. I am not that confident at travelling and even with some what tricky requirements for travel insurance Caryn crushed it. Fantastic experience: Our family have booked all our overseas trips with Flight Centre Fountain Gate. Always been very happy with their service and after sales service. Just remember to book an appointment with a consultant if you want to discuss and plan a holiday, as they are a busy store. I recommend Jackson and Hannah. Negative experience: Deals are still 100% over. Too expensive. They need to come back down like everything else and not be taken for granted that we must not accepted it as the norm.

All pricing is set by the airlines and suppliers (hotels, tour operators, etc) directly, and a lot of businesses are being affected by rising costs as we're sure you are aware of, and the travel industry, unfortunately, is not immune to these.

Negative experience: Booked my trip through fight centre. Normally, I have planned my own trip. But Barcelona connection flight not easy to organize. Booked hotel transfers through flight center. Arranged pick up became a problem for transfer company. Flight was delayed. One would think they would have checked arrivals at airport. I received a call saying bus could not wait. Couldn’t find booth in airport Tried to call them, no one pick up phone. Agent booked hotel in Naples, 13 km from city center. Cost 40 Euros to get into town. Staff are not trained and are not experts. Kindergarten children could have planned better trip. Expertise non existent. Tried to call their emergency number, Asian call center. Couldn’t help !!! Buyer Beware! Warning Book yours directly your self! They use obscure tour companies Buses are old, seats are broken Staff are rude No way to contact them I had to google and email them myself Con con

Negative experience: where does one even begin to start.my parents always told me.if ya got nothing nice to say about anyone or anything.dont say nothing at all.but my dealings were just a disaster.ill leave it here.but in saying that.it was just one disaster to another.from paying way overs & needing 2 cancel a hotel & purchasing another hotel.was just a disaster.i cancelled with in 2 days & never recieved my full return.i rang the hotel directly after ringing the 24 hour flight centre helpline.i even proved this with screen shots & all of a sudden i had to remember the persons name who i spoke too.there goes 400 dollars.the hotel said they had returned the whole amount.so either good old caryn is a liar or the money just dissapeared.so many parts of the trip just didnt add up.never again.please research properly before dealing with these guys...

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend booking your next trip with Kirsty Neil at Flight centre Fountain gate! I had never cruised before and Kirsty helped me plan (at very short notice!) the trip of a lifetime for me and my elderly mum. We did the Kimberely cruise from Broome to Darwin which was just an incredible experience and Kirsty gave great advice, organised everything and made sure we had all the help we needed at airports and for transfers and checked that everything would be accessible in terms of mobility issues. Fantastic experience: I had the honour of meeting Jackson earlier this year when I first got the idea of wanting to go to Europe. Negative experience: Poor customer service. We had an appointment booked but still had to wait with walk-ins in excess of 30 minutes without acknowledgment. We got told it won’t be too long and meanwhile walk-in customers got attended to before us. This is unacceptable, we booked an appointment a week in advance and yet we were no better off. There was no accountability by staff. The lack of communication by employees to customers needs to be addressed. Definitely won’t be going there again.

Negative experience: Made an appointment to see someone as had to get kids watched so thought it would be the best way. Well, making an appointment doesn't mean anything as I still had to wait 40mins to see anyone. What a waste of time! Will go see another agent or just book myself.

Negative experience: This store. Always just shows us the link to the website and basically says do it yourself. However I’m writing more to the full company itself. To have to pay $80 per person to change a flight (with over 6 months notice) and then another $70 “booking fee” was heartbreaking. This on top of the price difference. Maybe if I booked in store and had help, but no I BOOKED THEM IN, I DID ALL THE RESEARCH, literally all you had to do was click in the new flight and it’s cost me (not including the price difference) $310 just to do this. OH AND A CARD FEE OF $4 even tho there is no cash option and I could have offered another card type but they all had a fee. MONEY GRABS EVERYWHERE. I don’t have this much money, you’ve left me in tears. I couldn’t even get help in store, had to all be done over the phone. So no empathy from anyone. I just wanted help. One thing to have to pay so much more, another to feel like no one gave a flying F. What a horrible morning it has been. I thought you were suppose to help the experience be easier and enjoyable. Now when I think of the holiday I feel sick. I want to know what my $80 each and $70 “booking fee” was for … honestly … I moved onto a bloody more expensive flight so who was that inconveniencing?

If a customer makes their booking online, then any changes or updates will need to be made with the online team, not in store.
All change and cancellations are advised and required customer acknowledgement at the time of booking, prior to any confirmation or payment being made, and these fees are set by the airline themselves, with the Flight Centre fee covering the consultant to request, process and confirm the change for your booking to ensure your requested update is booked.
We cannot process a cash payment for an online booking, unfortunately.
If you would like to book in store, our teams can assist with a cash payment, in person.

Negative experience: No point going here. Every time I've gone, I've had the same response. "Call this number" and "all our deals are available online". Honestly, any money spent on your employee salaries is a joke, however it explains all the extra fees you charge. I know it doesn't mean a lot, but if this review can save even a single person from using flight centre's services, it's done it's job

Negative experience: I contacted this place and spoke to extremely extremely the rudest girl JESS or JAZZ. I called for price match, OH MY GOD, she did not even let me say a word after price match, she was extremely cynical and had that negative vibe, I would never ever ever be booking anything from flight centre in my life or my circle of friends.

Negative experience: Sat on phone waiting for 20 minutes no luck and won't let you use a voucher on app. Making you get an appointment and go to a store in not a modern convent experience that you would expect from a company that struggles for staff!!!! Wake up

Fantastic experience: If you're going to book a flight/trip, I would definitely recommend Nyanuer! It was so easy to book with her and get all the information needed for our flights to USA! Negative experience: Not the best experience at all. My consultant is pretty much impossible to get a hold of. Didn't return emails, and with 4 days to go until my trip, I still do not have my updated tickets. You can't call the store as it goes to their call centre. I have called over 10 times (all different times of the day) to only be told after about 4 minutes that they are experiencing high call traffic and to call back another time. Very disappointing

Negative experience: Got credit voucher for Virgin Australia in Mordialloc branch but the branch was shut completely during covid. I was told by the consultant at Mordialloc that I can use my credit and travel anytime as long as I book my flight by Dec 19 2022. I went to Flight centre Fountain Gate in October to book but was told I had to go thru Virgin Australia. Prior to that I was trying to book with them but noone pick up the phone so I had to come in to book the appointment. When I called Virgin Australia, they said they couldn't see my credit. Went back in to flighr centre just for then to tell me my credit was expired in 2 days. It was so exhausting to deal with them. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all. Staff are inexperienced.
Hi Meiliana, I'm sorry to hear of your negative experience! Virgin Australia did recently change their credit process, meaning they now take over any existing credits to rebook. If you're not sure on when the credit was actually due to expire, I'd recommend reconfirming with your booking agent to double-check when your credit did expire, as they may have confirmation of this for you to take to VA to followup :)
Negative experience: Currently been waiting for almost 30mins and still waiting while the consultants are just chatting away. Not one even said sorry or come back.

We do definitely recommend appointments in store currently as the teams are in high demand, and the majority of the booking leg-work is done after a customer leaves (the bookings, confirmations, invoicing, paying suppliers, preparing documents etc)

Negative experience: I would never book with Flight Centre again. We have $1600 worth of Air Asia credits due to a cancelled 2020 holiday and Flight Centre have left us high and dry and won't help us use them. It's impossible to deal directly with AirAsia as their customer service is a robot. We are facing the possibility of losing that money due to a lack of care and customer service from Flight Centre.

Negative experience: Went to convert money the lady on the desk told me she is on her break. I was also after booking travel insurance, but definitely won’t be doing it there. The man in front of me also mentioned what ridiculous customer service they had, we both left.

I had a problem with a booking and the lady that took time out from paying customers to help me was outstandingly professional and helpful. Negative experience: Worest expereince, I never recommend to any body. I saw some other customers also coming in and expereincing the same situation. Very suprising to hear that each sales consultant operating as an individual partner no responsibility as a company to the customers. They never look after the customers with issues with their previous bookings. I had flight credit from Qantas( Ref 213967 )was trying to re book through flight centre. No response through emails and had to walk in with out an apppoinmnet since no other option. No customer service at all trying to push back any appointment.
