She gives you a lot of useful information when booking flight tickets for my parents fly from China to Adelaide the first time, especially something I even didn't think about or missed. They walk you through the whole booking process and provide you with detailed information from choosing the airport for transferring, care taking service, special diet requirement and fees for changing or cancelling bookings. There is no stress or time wasting. Very supportive and recommend!

Fantastic experience: We had a really positive experience with Flight centre Marion. We worked with them for over a year, as our trip was complex. We began our journey with Alex before he moved to different job, but he did an awesome job of booking everything in. We were then put through to Amelia. She was awesome!! She finished off all the last minute details prior to our trip, and was so friendly and helpful. While we were overseas, we needed to change accommodation, so we rang Amelia, and she just made it all happen! It was so easy and we felt totally at ease with it all. Thank you guys, we will be back soon to start planning our next trip!!

Negative experience: We did all the right things, booked an appointment, Arrived at the right time and told to have a seat at the consultants desk. She needed five minutes to finish her work. We sat rather awkwardly in front of her while she did what she had to do. Ready and willing to book a family holiday, every question we asked her came with an answer that made us feel belittled or stupid for even asking it. Everything we wanted seem like a chore for her to do. Half way through our appointment she told us she had another appointment soon. I couldn’t stand the lack of customer service, so I took my family and walked out.

Negative experience: Such a disappointing service supplied by this flight centre store, we had to go to another store to solve the issues that were created. The first issue we had was when we first originally booked with a service rep named Michael. B, found it very hard to get a reply from him. We continued with the booking but only with the flights/ transfers. After sending out half the documents we emailed seeking the rest and didn’t hear back so I called the store and was told he had left the company, from which no one else was assigned to our trip and was told they are too busy over the phone and to email any questions. I emailed through some questions about flight meals and adding baggage to 5 x flights. After a week of no reply I called again to see and was informed I would get a reply. This reply stated there was no option to add extra baggage and would have to be done at the airport (this was a lie). With the awful customer service and feeling like they had gotten our money and not cared about anything else I went to flight centre in Rundle mall to ask again about baggage. I was told that it is available for all my flights and the information I was given was wrong. Upon asking more details it was seen that a transfer I had paid for via ferry was not even booked. They hadn’t done it either or lost the reference. The other flight centre store were happy to help me out and give me the time to re book the ferry and up my baggage allowance on 5 x flights. I wont be going back to this store.

Negative experience: Very bad experience, poor service provided by flight centre. I applied for refund of my flight in January and they told me contact us after 12 weeks when i consult them they just told me it gonna take more time and didn’t receive my money yet even they get all the details but didn’t do anything I called every week and they told me you will get within 3-4 working days if you don’t receive give us call back and same thing happens every time and didn’t received my money back yet. Very disappointing from the service provided by flight centre.

Negative experience: Waiting on a credit since last year, and still getting the run around. STOP with the excuses just provide good service, will never use them again. Just looking at negative comments don't get any attention from management shows the total lack of customer satisfaction

Negative experience: Visa nightmare We booked our flight to Vietnam through Michael Biddiss from Flight Centre Marion and we thought we'd give him some more business and asked him to apply and organise our visa entry. When we got to Vietnam on 18th Feb 2023 we discovered that my partner's visa wasn't due to allow her entry until 17th March 2023, one month later. I cannot begin to find the words to express the anxiety and distress this caused my girlfriend. She was beside herself and it was near impossible to communicate with the authorities on how we could fix this. After almost an hour of looking for someone to translate we were able to apply for an emergency visa and had to pay an additional US$170 to get it. We then had to run like a couple of contestants on the Amazing Race from the international terminal to the domestic terminal, around thousands of people, in order to catch our connecting flight. Furious about it all I advised Michael of this debacle on 21st February and he deflected the whole thing to being the Vietnamese embassy's fault and said he would get back to me. It's been almost 30 days since that and I haven't heard from him since. Five days ago I asked him for an update and he has ignored my email. His silence is clear evidence to me of his culpability in this matter and I plan to serve this company with a letter of demand for the US$170 on my return to Adelaide. I will update this post when I do. If they think they can ignore me and the anxiety they caused my girlfriend, then they are very much mistaken. Update for anyone thinking of using a Flight Centre consultant. It's been 17 days since I last emailed the consultant I used, asking for an update on the Visa screw-up that caused us immeasurable stress when we arrived in Ho Chi Minh airport, and 38 days since I first told him about it, and still no answer from him whatsoever. Update - After all the above, and after being told that I would receive a refund for the visa, and after sending reminders telling them that I haven’t received it. I finally received a refund of $255 for the visa 75 days after I first reported the incident, but no compensation for the stress and anxiety my girlfriend experienced in the airport.

Negative experience: Couldn’t even get an appointment. Walked in on a Sunday afternoon and we were told no one was available to speak to us as they were full up to closing time. That’s fair enough, so we asked if we could make an appointment but were told they were too busy to do that. We were given a card and told to make an appointment over the phone for a time that suits us. I called first thing this morning and was told by the operator that no one was available to schedule an appointment for me but took my name and number. Waited a few hours and no one called me back, so I called again this afternoon. I was then told I couldn’t book an appointment for weekends, which isn’t what we were told in store. Terrible customer service and won’t be using Flight Centre at any location if this is how they do business. We’ll be booking elsewhere - You want something done, do it yourself!

Negative experience: I can see why people don’t use FC anymore. More staff on the phone than helping people with their holiday. Book online. Faster and cheaper

Negative experience: rang twice spent the full cycle on hold both times. Message says you can leave a message but the line just hangs up on you. Seems to sum up the service

They’ll recommend to pay the extra so you could get credit if your flights get cancelled and honestly, the extra bit of money is worth the stress-free time on the lead up to your holiday. She booked accomodation and flights, got us travel insurance and informed us of covid info, visa, etc. Very friendly and professional. The team at Flight Centre Marion runs a tight game!

Fantastic experience: We lost our flight in Athens. I was very distraught and upset. I phoned Flight Centre emergency line. After a sleepless night back at our hotel I got a call at 2.00am from our wonderful agent Joanne to notify us that she and her team had found flights for us with another airline at 1.00pm that day. We have always booked with Flight Centre and will continue to do so. Thanks Joanne and everyone at Flight Centre Marion you are an amazing team.

Negative experience: We have previously had exceptional service from Flight Centre Marion pre Covid. The way they handled our post Covid holiday May 2022 was horrendous. This was a holiday that was canceled several times. Once it was safe to travel they did not rebook like for like from the original booking which saw us travelling in a basic air New Zealand flight without meals or entertainment access. When queried before we left, there was nothing they could do which left us out of pocket. It then gets worse. Whist on the holiday we had to cancel a night of accommodation due to illness. I called flight centre within 24 hrs to cancel. This had to go through central office then no one got back to us and we had to chase it. Once we returned we were told it would take up to 10 weeks to process the refund. Ten weeks passed. No contact so we queried it to be told we couldn’t get a refund because we had to give 48 hrs notice. Hmmmm you would think they could have told us that 10 weeks before without giving us the ‘head office 10 week wait’ run around. It’s clear that profit is the driving force of this company over providing sufficient customer service. This is really disappointing. So , do yourself a favour, when booking your next holiday either book it yourself or go to another travel agent. Either way, I suggest you stay well away from flight centre.

I popped in to ask a generic question after booking with another flight centre and was made to feel like I wasn't good enough to be in the store! Staff are ridiculously rude! I asked if a digital licence was good enough to check into a flight - as I didn't book through Marion, the staff member refused to answer! Very bad customer service!Would never book through Marion!

Negative experience: So, we didn’t have to, but we thought that after the impact that the pandemic has had on the travel industry, we would support our local Flight Centre (rather than booking online which is easier) because it has been tough, as we know. We went into the store yesterday and were greeted by a delightful lady working the reception and made a booking for 11.00 am Sunday to see someone else (first appointment for the day). At 11.23 am, we walked out without having seen anyone. You would think that after losing so much business for so long that we would have had first class, on time service….Well at least some communication as to why we were left waiting so long?? Sorry, it’s back to booking our own trips again. Very, very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I was served by Alex a few weeks ago when I booked my flights to QLD. Jetstar changed the times on me which were not suitable and he did everything he could to change it to a time that worked for us.

Positive experience: I visited at this new Flight Centre about a week ago. Trying to get information about Solo Traveller holiday ideas but they only have only for two people. I was looking for a sm cruise around Kangaroo Island & back to Adelaide again. How disappointing! I think there is very little for Solo Traveller unless I pay more money for 2 people.
