Negative experience: I strongly recommend avoiding this centre to save yourself the frustration. My first-ever holiday and I regret calling Flight Centre. My travel agent made a significant error in the financial side of things, and instead of owning up to it, I was blamed for not wanting to cancel a trip I needed to take. Cancelling would have meant doubling the cost to rebook, all because of the agent’s mistake. Despite 3 people triple-checking my booking to ensure everything was correct, I ran into numerous issues. For example, the lounge I had paid for during my 8-hour layover was mistakenly booked at a different airport—something I didn't realize was a problem, as I had no experience with these kinds of bookings. To make matters worse, my hotel reservation was under a completely different person's name, someone who was travelling with me but had no involvement in the booking, was a nightmare at check -in. If something goes wrong, they’ll just point the finger at you. Although I was given a complimentary gift card, the stress and frustration I endured were not worth it. I would have much preferred a smooth, worry-free holiday. I gave the gift card to a family member because I refuse to travel with Flight Centre. I’m still waiting for my refund, which was supposedly going to take three weeks, but no one can confirm in writing whether it’s been processed yet. At this point, I’m not holding my breath. No apologies for any of this. I will never book with Flight Centre again.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Clint at Cockburn Gateways highly enough! From start to finish, he turned what could have been a stressful situation into the holiday of a lifetime. I only got my leave approved about two months before our travel dates over Christmas and New Year (busiest time of the year!), but Clint worked his magic to pull everything together seamlessly—and in record time! The business class flights he secured for us were beyond incredible. When we tried checking flights ourselves, we could only find business class seats on Finnair. But Clint went above and beyond to get us not only those, but also Saga Class on Icelandair for the second leg of our journey and work it into our budget too! The level of comfort and luxury we experienced on both airlines was outstanding, making the long flights part of the holiday itself. We also had a hiccup when my bag didn’t arrive, but Clint was an absolute lifesaver! He quickly gave us practical suggestions on what to do and how to handle the situation. He even checked in regularly to see how we were going and to ensure everything was resolved smoothly. His support during this stressful moment made such a difference and gave us the peace of mind to enjoy the rest of our trip. Even with such a tight timeframe, Clint went above and beyond to ensure nothing was overlooked and gave us peace of mind knowing he was only a phone call away if needed. Negative experience: "I had an unpleasant experience with this travel agency. I visited the office to ask a quick question and noticed the agent had no other clients at the desk. I politely mentioned I only had one question, hoping for a brief answer, but was repeatedly told to wait my turn without any attempt to help. This back-and-forth took more time than it would have to simply answer my question! I felt that my time wasn’t respected, and I chose to take my business elsewhere, to someone who values customer service and treats clients with more respect."

Negative experience: I wish I could give ZERO STAR!! Met the male consultant asking for some info for Europe cruises, it took him more than 2 weeks to email me that he is doing the final touch ups… Very amateur, helpless and disappointing. Did the 30k purchase over the phone with another consultant on the east coast(Victoria)(sent and received nearly 10 emails)(made and received few phone calls)and all done and dusted. I don’t think I would ever contact the flight center in gateways…

Fantastic experience: Lauren Calabrese at Gateways Shopping Centre was everything you want in a travel agent for someone who is going to plan a holiday of a lifetime for you. Lauren has been on the ball, answered emails & returned calls in a timely manner. Lauren is friendly, approachable, pleasant & knowledgeable. If Lauren didn’t know something she would ask one of her colleagues & we would have our query answered then & there. Fantastic experience: I sent an email enquiry and was referred to Sarah Swan who responded the same day. She gave us a price for flights and hotel and explained to us in detail of the breakdown in the price. We went in to see her at the office and made a few changes and she was happy to oblige. Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Ignored people who have been waiting half a hour to serve people standing at the door instead that just arrived. Waste of our time and will looking to book elsewhere now. Rude and unprofessional. By the way, the customers they served coming in at the door was just an enquiry for brochures, not a pre booked appointment.

Negative experience: We were told in store, that after booking through flight centre online, the staff member cannot assist us as she couldn’t read the details in our e-mail because it’s different than their system. We aren’t travel agents, yet we can read our flight info. Perhaps the staff requires additional training. We’ll use other travel agencies in the future.

Negative experience: Was there Thursday night to book a car hire as i have booked my tickets online through flight centre. The lady in-store wasn't able to assist, as she was unable to read my flight info as its not the same as their system. Quote for car hire was 5x more than other places. Will never use this place again.

Negative experience: Not a good experience. Went there asked a male staff to give me a quote, didn’t hear back. One of the female staff quoted me 40 gran for a Europe holiday after Xmas in January 2024. 22 gran is just for accomodation. It’s ridiculous she thinks I’m a joke probably laughing at me. Very incompetent and unfriendly staff. Would never book at this branch ever. I booked with another travel agency who has 20 years experience, we’re very happy she was excellent and knew what she was doing. Don’t go to this place I don’t recommend it.

Travel pricing varies greatly depending on the time of year you decide to travel, where you're travelling, and the options you decide to book. January is still the holiday period, and therefore very much considered peak season for most destinations around the world, Europe included.
As mentioned, pricing will vary based on the options your're looking for / are quoted, and unfortunately the Australian Dollar is not quite as strong as the Euro, meaning accommodation, particularly at this busy time of the year isn't always the price we may want.
If you'd like to look at a more budget friendly itinerary, just let our team know, and we'd be more than happy to work through this, to ensure your trip is exactly what you're wanting!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Clint Coppola at Flightcentre Cockburn Gateway highly enough! Planning my first big post Covid trip has been interesting to say the least, and Clint could not be more helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, even with JAL cancelling 2 flights to Europe which affected connecting flights….. all was sorted really quickly and efficiently, and with a smile! Negative experience: Booked tickets to Phuket with flight centre who recommended Malaysia Airlines. This is my 14th trip here and have always travelled prior with Singapore. Flight centre booked flights with a connecting flight that only left us 30mins to traverse KL airport and our arrival was delayed, thus missing our connecting flight. We did what anyone would do, immediately booked the next flight to our destination. Immediately called Flight Centre emergency line and were told we would have to sleep at the airport or find accommodation in KL. We had landed Sunday morning and were told we may not get a flight to our destination until Monday but more possibly Tuesday and that by booking our own connecting flights we may not be able to get home. But was recommended that we got on those flights by the emergeand made it to our destination. Malaysia canceled our return flights. Flight Centre did not back us or support us. They did not fight for us at all or really care that we were now stuck in a foreign country. Instead charged us $200pp cancellation fee, $150pp re-issue fee and $245pp taxes/fare differences. I had already paid $400pp for the connecting flight we missed. A $900pp return trip to Phuket has now cost me $1895pp. I paid for and owned my return tickets and regardless of how I got to my destination those should have been warranted and FC should have backed its customers. Instead they put their hands out for more money. This is the 4th trip I’ve booked with them within 12 months and will be the last. This is also not the first issue I’ve had with their lack of support and customer care. Simone Elwell was of great support when taking my money and receiving commission. But when her help was needed to rectify the issue she made sure to state in our email chain (media will love this) how hard done by she was that she had to spend so long on the phone with the carrier.

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear about your experience, and your flight delays. Generally if flights are booked as a through fare, the airline will guarantee these & if there is a delay causing you to miss your connecting flight, they / our team, can get you onto the next available flight. Unfortunately airline rules do state that if you miss a portion of your trip mid-journey, that the traveller is considered a no-show, and subsequent legs are no longer able to be travelled on.

Negative experience: No one answered when we called, couldn’t even leave a message for a return call. We tried emailing and booking in online and weren’t able to. Pretty disappointed and ended up just booking our flights ourselves online.

Fantastic experience: Went to flight centre on the 22/3/23 with no idea which hotel to stay at at our travel destination. The lady, Lauren, who attended to us was very patient and very helpful. She was really helpful in finding a hotel which offered the services I was after. It’s nice to go to somewhere and get someone so friendly and so helpful. When we book our next trip through flight centre we will definitely ask for Lauren to help us book our trip. Jayden and Chanelle :)

Negative experience: I was so disappointed with my experience, I would not recommend to book with flight centre if you want to do cruising, go direct to the cruise website as they have amazing deal which flight Centre has no idea and with my experience they didn't even listen to me when I asked for the deal that cruise had on the day! They could simply check the cruise website to make sure and when you pay it is too late!

Negative experience: I booked my flight requesting meal conditions and priority list (my partner and me are vegetarian, besides my partner is pregnant with meal restrictions). They didn’t confirm our meals so we couldn’t eat nothing but bread and jam for ALL TRAVEL!!!!!! ( Perth-Rome via Dubai 26 hours!!!) I should have to contact the company for request the meals!!! Do not waste your time and Money with this useless and unprofessional agency

Negative experience: A group of us went there yesterday between 2.30 - 3pm. There was about 4 to 5 consultations there with no customers. I walked in standing there and then a gentleman asked if we needed help and a lady the same time asked, but the gentleman spoke to us in a rude manner. I said we wanted to book a trip he said we needed to make a ppointment come back tomorrow you don't need one on Saturday. We walked pass again 20 mins later and still no customers in there. They just lost a booking from us for a group of 20 maybe more people. Wouldn't recommend them at Gateways. Bad customer service. It was like they wanted a break. I can understand if they were busy there. But there was no customers in there. We walked passed 20 mins later and there was still no customers in there... In that time we couldn't of booked details.

Negative experience: Appalling treatment from flight center! Booked tickets with them for my elderly mom thinking that it will all be headaches free. Opposite happened. They booked the wrong flight and have given us completely different itinerary. We showed up only to be advised we don’t have a flight booked. Luckily there were nice people at the counter to help. No one ever apologized for making a mistake. When I call team leader said she only has 5 minutes and I need to hurry up. Very, very disappointed. Customer relations is no use either when I reached out they said I need authority document signed interesting that I was able to book the ticket pay for it and talk to staff about it for so long and as soon as problems start all of a sudden I need authority. Why rule only applies sometimes? Anyway easier to book by yourself! Customers BEWARE!

Negative experience: Horrendous service, stay away. Staff impolite. I went there to book a flight. I was next in line at 16:40. Was told that no walk in's allowed and only bookings. ( no other person waiting to be served after me) They closed at 17:30. Told "I could make an appointment to be seen the following week or you could 'walk in' tomorrow ( Saturday) ? I asked, " thought there's only bookings and no walk in's" and got a silly answer from the lady behind the counter saying not on Saturdays? I left and drove to Flight centre at Livingstone shopping centre ( 15min away ) . Walked in, got served immediately and bought my tickets, no drama.

Fantastic experience: Jessica was excellent. We got all our bookings done. I felt sorry for the 2 girls as it was so busy they needed more staff as there was up to 5 people waiting at a time. People were walking away. The girls remained calm and carried on Well done you two.

Negative experience: Didn't have the best experience with flight Centre.the guy we booked our holiday through (Brody)gave us lack of information we needed to know with everything involved going to Thailand.And when emailing him a number of times asking questions he rarely replied back..I wouldn't book through them again.

Negative experience: Appalling booked flights Perth to London, turned up to find all 4 of us booked together Perth to Doha and then we were on different flights Doha to London!!! Called flight centre for help and they were only interested in us paying a large sum to change - no empathy and no help. I will never book with them again. Incompetent and unhelpful they didn't care we had spent 1000's on the flights and have sent us of on family trip feeling bad - I'm sure you will not care but you should care that your brand is so badly serviced by your staff

Fantastic experience: Tracey Jarman has been organising my holidays for over 10 years and I would not go anywhere else. Tracey not just organises a holiday but a lasting experience. She takes the time to get to know you so that your trips are tailored to your likes and needs. Now I just let Tracey choose my hotels and activities because I know they will be great. Tracey is also excellent at making the travel simple and easy. For example, my bestie and I traveled through New Zealand doing all manner of adventure things, and were on a tight schedule. Tracey not only planned the whole itinerary ensuring we had the most practical route, but also ensured that we had all the vouchers up front so that we could easily pick up our rental car, check-in to our hotels and activities, etc. It sounds simple but I would not underestimate how much easier this makes travelling so you can focus on the activity and not the frustration that can come with figuring out how to get somewhere or pay. Love your work Trace!

Fantastic experience: For the last 4 years I have booked all of my travel with Tracey Jarman from Flight Centre and I honestly feel I would be at a loss without all of her assistance. She is the most efficient, helpful, knowledgable person and I trust her completely to advise me on anything travel related. Negative experience: Hopefully this review won't be deleted like the previous one was! I hate giving bad reviews, but when you get bad customer service, it's a bad experience, you just have to share. We had booked our dream holiday [over $36K for 4 people], Xmas in Europe and Switzerland for 20 days early last year, giving them some 9 months to iron out problems if there was any. So many problems afterwards, Flight Centre Gateways, just didn't want to know. Our problems are still not solved. 2 months later. Sure, after many heated discussions about an over charge for a transfer which was supposed to be free, Antoinette just kept passing the buck. We went higher up the line and got refunded some $450+. It didn't stop there, but i won't be recommending them, nor using them again, 1st time we used them and the last!

Negative experience: They do not price beat flights. Last 4 flights they have not even price matched. Save your time and book direct with Airline or website. They need to either cut down there mark up or get new wholesalers to compete. Very disappointing as I used to use them all the time. Friendly staff but advised they cant help.
