BlueSun2 is West Australia's number one charter boat booking agency. We provide up to 60 charter boats for hire in Perth, WA doing Swan River cruises, Rottnest Island boat charters, as well as Carnac Island party boat cruises. These are for corporate events and staff parties, private events and wedding celebrations, as well as bucks and hens parties.
BlueSun2 is owned by BlueSun Travel. We are also the only ATAS accredited charter boat booking agency in WA by the Australian Federation of Travel Agencies (AFTA). Additionally we have active CLIA (Cruise Line Industries Association) and IATA (International Air Transport Association) memberships.

Negative experience: Used this service. Boat didn't show then another boat was sent late meaning we were unable to go for time we wanted. Leah has been uncontactable since and has yet to process refund or deposit return. The Boat sent to fill in was great but at the time he also wasn't paid by the company as promised. Do not use this company.
Fantastic experience: We can't express enough gratitude for Lia's incredible help in securing a boat for us at the last minute after an unexpected cancellation from another boat charter. We were in a bit of a bind, but Lia worked tirelessly to make it happen, ensuring that everything was taken care of so we could celebrate our daughter's 21st in style. Her professionalism and dedication truly went above and beyond. Once on the boat, Sean and the entire crew were fantastic. They made sure we felt comfortable and looked after throughout the entire trip. Their attentiveness and care added to the special day, and we couldn't have asked for better service. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, and we truly appreciate Lia and the crew for making our celebration unforgettable. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We booked Casey Lee for my sisters hen party and we had a great time. The staff were amazing and we had an absolute ball. The boat was spacious, clean, had plenty of seating and table room to service food and swimming of the boat was great. Would definitely recommend.

Positive experience: Booking process was smooth and helpful. Hired the Nautica, it will be wise to be more demanding than we were. Told the skipper we were not expecting much from a four hour river cruise and not much is what we got. A 30 minute cruise up to their mooring, tie up for two and a half hours, then a 30 minute cruise back to the pick up point. We could have had a picnic by the river and saved thousands of dollars. Still, we did have a good evening.

We always appreciate feedback from our customers but in this instance, your name does not show up on our calendar, as one of our clients that booked Nautica, otherwise I would love to say more in reply to you. Without this information, I am somewhat shooting in the dark. Can you email us the date and time of your charter and under what name the booking was made. Send to [email protected]? I will follow up on this. Also, it looks like your review would be best directed to the owners of Nautica, as they were in charge of the boat and where you went on the day? Fantastic experience: Had an Absolutely fantastic experience! Lia was great, we had a cancellation with another company 2 days before we were due set to sail! Lia came through and secured a new boat for the exact same time causing no disruption to the party or plans that was set in stone. Lia was extremely quick, efficient and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time out on the water! I would highly recommend and would definitely use BlueSun2 Boat Charters again. Thank you so much Lia!

Negative experience: Would love to rate a boat experience but we couldn't even get a call back. Left 4 separate inquires via their Web page AND call them with absolutely no response. Must have too much business.
Fantastic experience: Chartering a boat for the day through Bluesun2 was so easy. Lia was very helpful as were the skippers on the day. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: Can't speak highly enough of Blue Sun!! Lia has now helped me to organize multiple bucks parties aboard different vessels with different programs and things always run smoothly with no fuss! Lia does a fantastic job behind the scenes to make sure our big days are hassle and stress free. I Can't recommend them enough! They also have access to some ripper boats and crews!

Fantastic experience: Had such a great experience with Blue Sun2 Boat Charters! Fantastic experience: Had the most amazing day. The crew were so helpful and very energetic. Getting to Carnac island was a breeze. Once you get there you’re able to swim with the sea lions with or without your snorkels (I of course had mine), you get to go on the kayaks or the stand up paddle board or both. Or if you’re just there for a chill day, you can lie down on the trampoline. The highlight of the day was (SPOILER ALERT) the Drag net. What is a drag net you ask? It literally is a Net that drags behind the boat while you hang on for dear life. This ends the trip on a high that will definitely get you coming back for more. Negative experience: After attending the event on your boat and from the chat conversation between your authorised number user and my friend, I was shocked and thrown into a state of pandemonium by the way and manner you conducted yourself and your service as it relates to withholding bonds.
FAKE REVIEW. Google has been notified and legal action commenced. Child Celebrity admits in their own words that they have not experienced our services by stating that they are relying upon evidential information, not first hand experience. It is my understanding that you have to actually experience something to review it on Google. As such this is a FAKE REVIEW. Sadly, Child Celebrity is part of a group of friends that have launched a smear campaign against us. This has been led by the one person, the real client, that actually hired a charter boat and who subsequently lost his security bond due to damages that were caused by his party guests. He has refused to take responsibility despite being legally liable for their behaviour on board. We totally appreciate real reviews and comments and in no way discourage them from actual clients. That is why we stand by the the 5-star rating that we have received from 170 real guests, not a few, bitter fake ones, like this.
Fantastic experience: Kevin and Lia helped organised my 25th birthday and my brother's surprise 21st: first on the Aussie Warrior and second on the Classy Lady, 11am-4pm. Both boats had a max capacity of 65 and we had 58 on the first boat and 45 on the second and they filled nicely. Kevin and Lia were fabulous throughout the whole planning process up until the morning of the parties. They were responsive (by both email and phone), knowledgeable, held the boats for me when bookings were filling up, were lenient on final deposit dates, and answered all questions and concerns that I had about things like capacity, the weather, and what to bring (and not to bring). For my birthday we changed last minute from Carnac Island to the Swan River and departing from Barrack St instead of Freo, without any worries (because of the weather). For my brother's party we changed last minute to increase the capacity and how to coordinate the surprise. Dave and Elio were the skippers; they and their crews were incredibly helpful on the day, cooking the food provided, blowing up the inflatables, and making sure everyone had a good time. My brother and I both had the best birthday's and the reviews from our mates were similar - I will definitely be using Kevin and Lisa again in the future!

Fantastic experience: Hired one of the charters for my 24th birthday which was almost ruined by COVID and Perth’s week long lockdown and restrictions. The company was so accomodating to reschedule the dates and make sure I could still celebrate in style. The service was exceptional and it was such an amazing and memorable day!!! Would definitely hire one again and would recommend to everyone!!! ❤️
Fantastic experience: Nothing was too much trouble, we brought our own drinks and they catered for food with personal chef on board for the day. This about the 5 Th time we have use them and will be back again next year
Negative experience: The booking experience was okay. But the boat we were on “classy lady” was terrible. Poor service, the captain was also very grumpy. Not the best experience I’d say
FAKE REVIEW. Google has been notified and legal action commenced. Uba Odigwe is not a client of ours. He has never used, paid for or spoken to BlueSun2 about any of our services. For him to say that the booking experience was okay, is nice, but fake. He never, ever once, spoke to BlueSun2 Boat Charters, nor has he booked a boat through us. This is not an honest review. It is driven by the bitterness of one client who is going out of his way to smear us because he lost his security bond. That bond was lost because his guests damaged the boat. We totally appreciate real reviews and comments and in no way discourage them from actual clients. That is why we stand by the the 5-star rating that we have received from 170 real and prior reviews, not a few, bitter fake ones, like this.
Negative experience: They were great to deal with when booking with them. We were first booked to go with Highland Spirit but then changed to Classy Lady as a result of some issues. Classy Lady charters owner was grumpy and rude. Who refused to refund our bond. Lia have since then not responded to my email.
Thanks Bintu. I know Collins got great service from us even when he was running nearly an hour late for his own party! However, I do not think it is fair to give us 1-star rating because you disliked the skipper or thought he was grumpy. Firstly, you group was an hour late boarding because guests (including your boyfriend and the hirer) were not there on time. Charter boats are only supposed to be on a public jetty for a maximum 15 minutes for both pick up and drop off. This caused the owner a lot of stress, as he was contravening protocols to sit there for 4 times longer than he was supposed to. Had the Police been on the jetty, he would have been told to move away. You were lucky he did not. Secondly, guests brought bottles of clear spirits (rum) on board, in total disregard of the contract Collins signed. On multiple occasions he was advised that spirits would not be allowed, but guests clearly chose to ignore these rules. Two bottles were confiscated on boarding and five empty bottles found later in the bins. Thirdly, there was a safety issue. Because you were late in departing, they had to cook your food on the bbq while travelling down the river. Normally they would never do that. They would anchor up and only cook food when the boat was static. You are entitled to your opinion on the skipper, but that does not excuse your smear campaign against BlueSun. It is so immature to see fake reviews from your friends who have never interacted with us ever. There clearly was a bond issue from the party. Collins was notified on the charter about the damages and was aware of it. He lost his security deposit because the toilets were damaged for which he was legally liable. There has never been any communication issue with Collins, by email or phone. We have always been reachable, even on weekends. You are taking out your frustration on us because you clashed with the skipper over the bond. You don’t like the fact that you are responsible for damages, caused by one for the 10 girls in your group. I suggest you quiz them about who flushed tampons down the toilet instead of attacking us for bad service. Remember, the skipper was the one who had to physically get his hands into the toilet system to remove the used tampons, not us or you. I hardly think that warrants a malicious campaign against BlueSun2.
Fantastic experience: Brilliant experience from beginning to end. From friendly customer service dealing with me directly for booking through to awesome hosts on the boat. A fantastic boat with lots of water play facilities included for fun for all ages in our group. Couldn't ask for more! Everyone had an AMAZING time and the charter of 4hrs felt like 4mins as it was so great! Definitely worth it and would do it again.

The boat was amazing, the food was delicious, ensuring the dolphins swam right under my partners paddle board was an added bonus ;) and the best part was that i didn't have to do a thing! Communicated well leading up to and on the day of our excursion and helped with all the food prep and cooking so that I could be present and enjoy my husbands 30th Birthday Party with him! Fantastic experience: Blue Sun made our corporate Christmas party so easy, Lia was an absolute dream to deal with and made very good suggestions for the night as well as making the whole process hassle free. We booked the 'Aussie Warrior' boat. Dave and his deckhand were unbelievable on the night, so accommodating and relaxed, compared to previous boating experiences with different companies. Fantastic experience: We booked through BlueSun2 for our Staff Christmas boat party last week and my expectations were well exceeded. Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic time on the Jaden for my son’s 21st! I spoke to Lia initially and she gave various options and recommendations for our event. Booking was an easy and clear process. Once aboard the boat, Andy (Captain :) and Clint (First mate :) made sure the journey and the proceedings ran smoothly and all our friends and family were thrilled with the whole evening. The Jaden itself is beautiful, there were so many spaces to relax and socialise. The sound system, kitchen/dining area, bathrooms, seating areas and lighting on the boat were first class. Our trip took us from Fremantle towards Perth during sunset, along the Swan River to see the city lights and colours of Elizabeth Quay, then back to the East Street Jetty in Fremantle. 5 stars all the way, we will definitely repeat this experience - Clare Munro and family.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible customer service. They take a long time to get back to you and do not put anything in writing. You have to constantly call for details which is extremely frustrating when you have paid for your boat and expect customer service in return. Whilst their boat prices are cheap, the constant headache of this terrible customer service just isn’t worth the cheaper price. Would not recommend.
Thanks so much for your review. We take both the good and the bad very seriously. I have investigated your booking and i noted that you were frustrated by not getting your bond back faster than you wanted. This was despite you getting it back within 10 days which was per within the timeframe specified in the same Terms & Conditions you signed. This was on top of the horrible COVID-19 situation that basically forced all boat operators, airlines, hotels, rail and car rental companies into shut down, through no fault of their own. Even with that situation, we still delivered our high quality services. I further looked into our email exchanges and noticed a similar pattern where you thought one thing, and discovered another. For instance, you complained about not getting a receipt and whether we got the payment and the boat was confirmed. I looked into this and found it was sent to you twice. My words to you were: “Yes….per the invoice I sent it says you owe $0.00 so yes you have paid in full haha! And yes the boat is confirmed. We will call you before the charter to go through everything before hand.” You replied: “Oh fabulous! Thank you! Sorry I didn’t scroll down far enough!!” I think these exchanges clarifies that there were no issues in writing! Finally, you eluded to our prices being “cheap”. Our prices are dictated by the boats, not by us. We only quote what they ask. However, some customers like you don’t have the budget and therefore we steer you towards the cheaper options. There are many more expensive boats, but you couldn’t afford them with your budget. I am very confident that you got the service that all our customers get too. You just had issues with your email inbox and reading the contract. Feel free to call me any time if you wish to discuss this further.

Fantastic experience: We celebrated our first baby’s first birthday with almost 60 people on board and that was the best experience ever. From selection of boat to the end of party we were so carefree and confident. Cleanliness, staff friendliness I cannot even describe how good they were. Everything was beyond my expectations. They’re so flexible and try to accommodate you in all means. It’s been 1 month now and everyone still talk about that party. They made our day so memorable and never forgetting one. We served almost 12 dishes and had every facility on boat. During Christmas season when everyone else refused us for that day booking, they made it possible for us, we honestly can’t thanks them enough.

Fantastic experience: I celebrated my 25th birthday on the Aussie warrior charter with 60 guests. The skipper set the mood for the day very friendly and easy going, helped cook the food and blew up all the inflatable toys available on the boat which we appreciated so much. We had plenty of space to eat, drink and relax. Highly recommend! My friends and I had an awesome day from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend Blue Sun boat charters for any event! I recently booked one of their boats for my partner’s 30th and it was the best day ever. The staff were so helpful and accommodating and the day ran very smoothly. Everyone had such a great time and didn’t want it to end! Kevin was fantastic and was extremely quick to respond to any email or call. I will definitely book with Blue Sun again!

Fantastic experience: This is the 2nd year in a row I have used Kevin and Blue Sun Charters and I will continue to use them. So accomodating from the first phone call to the moment we step off the boat. 22 girls on their Christmas party and very single person said best day ever this year and last. The crew on Equador were so friendly and attentive even The skipper jumping on the sup to go rescue our floating away Unicorn to the deck hand taking us on tours of the caves of Carnac island. Fantastic experience: Huge thank you to Kevin for organising our 80's themed hens party on the boat SEAESTER yesterday ! It was such an amazing afternoon and we had the best time! Everything was so well organised from the communication with the skipper of the boat leading up to the event, to on board the vessel. The crew on board SEAESTER were so professional and amazing as well! We had Ben and Sarah looking after us on board, who were fantastic. Everything from the service to their smiling faces ! They helped me get the drinks and food out to guests as well as taking us for a great cruise down the river! Honestly, they were fantastic! Fantastic experience: Excellent experience, our first time chartering a boat and a really important part of our holiday. Weather conditions meant that we couldn't go to Rottnest and this turned out to be a complete blessing - Kate and Antoni were great, nothing was too much trouble and they took us to wonderful parts of the Swan River. Lia kept us well informed of developments prior to the trip, and our deposit etc. was refunded promptly. Strongly recommended!

Fantastic experience: BlueSun2 made the boat charter hire so easy. Lia was always available to contact and answered all queries straight away. We hired Highland Fling for a Saturday afternoon cruise along the river and it was perfect. Great and easy going crew and heaps of room on the boat. We had 46 people and did not feel cramped at all! Would definitely use BlueSun2 again for any boat charter.

Fantastic experience: We were on the boat Chiquita with a wonderful crew of 3, 18 friends who all had a fabulous time on board for Australia Day. Picked up at 5pm and dropped off at 10.30pm East St Jetty. Easily all boarded with no fuss and cruised down to the Sky Show and danced all the way back with fairy lights and Australian Flags all around the boat. All 18 on board will be back again next year and thanks to the crew of Chiquita and Lea who helped with everything from BlueSun2 Boat Charters and made all the paperwork very easy. XXXXX

Fantastic experience: We hired the Blue Destiny for our staff Christmas Party earlier this month, and it was fabulous in every way. From booking with Liah and Kevin through to perfect weather, the truly AMAZING crew (Travis, Ben, Cameron & Heather) who were absolutely outstanding!! They couldn’t do enough to assist and help everyone, from topping up drinks, popping lime and lemons into beers, cooking and serving our food, ensuring we had water bottles available at all times :-), they were happily willing to assist every way possible. Service as good as this is often rare, so we say... "BEST CREW we've ever had on a staff boat function" (and we’ve had many…). Also, Natalie (food caterer) was terrific too, the burgers and salads were homemade and delicious! An EXTRA BIG THANK YOU from all of us to each of them.

Fantastic experience: We hired the Indian Spirit for our Christmas party yesterday and we all had a wonderful time! Booking was easy and communication with Lia was transparent and efficient. The boat was perfect for us, and the skippers were super friendly, yet discreet, helpful and really nice to be around. We felt "at home" on board pretty quickly. We enjoyed our time so much that, just before heading back to the jetty, we asked if we could extend our booking by another hour. The guys were happy to accommodate our request, and the additional cost was easily sorted out with BlueSun2 on the next day. We will definitely recommend both company and boat to our network, and we also know for sure we will book again with them in the future. Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: I wanted to organise a boat party for our work Christmas do and had no hesitation in going with BlueSun2. We took a trip to Rottnest, cranked up the tunes and had a swim and delicious BBQ. Lia was super accommodating finding us an awesome boat with a fantastic crew who really added to the electric atmosphere of the day. It was by far the best Christmas party Titan have ever had. We now know exactly what we will be doing for any future corporate events :) Since writing this review back in 2014 I've used Liah and the team at BlueSun2 to organise another private cocktail party. This event was very different to the corporate party boat but equally as fun. Liah took my brief and matched us with the perfect boat to suit the occasion. High five to the BlueSun2 crew - they certainly know how to facilitate an event!

Fantastic experience: 3 great cruises 3 years in a row. This is the third time I have had the pleasure of cruising to Rottnest on a boat chartered by BlueSun2, and once again was a completely positive experience. The company is great in personally helping to tailor the vessel to suit your needs and making sure you are prepared for the event, and on the day the boat crew were more than happy to help prepare/serve food, and make sure everyone was having a good time. Will definitely be using BlueSun2 a 4th time!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time on a boat cruise and it was beautiful. Putting along the river on the Bow of a luxury vessel, drink in hand, loving life.
