Fantastic experience: Nabin at Flight Centre Gungahlin is a legend sorted our entire trip to Japan, he gave plenty of reccomendations and tips to make the most of the trip and got us great hotels and deals. Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We first went to Travel Associates in Gungahlin, where they told us their booking/admin fee would be $150 if we purchased our tickets through them. However, at the end of the consultation, they suddenly said it would be $700 more. When we asked why, they gave no clear explanation. Feeling stressed, we went to Flight Centre in Gungahlin Marketplace, where Jordan helped us. He found us the best flight for the date we wanted and was confident, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. He reassured us that everything was in safe hands, which was such a relief after our previous experience. Jordan also explained all the important details upfront—like fees for extra luggage and ticket change charges—so we had all the information we needed before booking. I was so happy with his service and would definitely recommend booking your tickets through Jordan. He’s experienced, confident, and genuinely cares about his clients.

Negative experience: Well they close before their advertised time of closing. Went their 5Pm on a Friday immediately after work but the plastic barrier was already inplace tho there’s a couple of staff inside ☹️ i have been calling on 2 of my lunchbreaks with flight centre and have been transferred to too many departments in every occasion until my lunchbreak’s up. Hoping visiting in store will be fruitful but gotta wait for next week now!

Fantastic experience: Tara was amazing. I was unable to visit the store personally, so everything was done via phone and email. Tara made the whole experience a breeze and was able to find the best availability and price to bring our grandson out from Canada. The best Flight Centre in Canberra! Thanks Tara.

Fantastic experience: Booking cheap flights from a to b return isn't hard. But lining up international flights with stops is easier with the help of professionals. Tara made the process, including baggage limit pitfalls and even travel insurance considerations far less taxing. Go see them. Save yourself the headache.

Negative experience: Will never do business with flight centre again. Initial trip planning fine after finally getting in to talk. But after trying to get tickets\info that have been paid for has been a nightmare. Booked months ago ever since the Gungahlin store never answers the phone, the agents don't respond to emails, I've had to send several emails, with a gap of weeks in between before getting a response. We are leaving for a US trip in 6 days and don't have the tickets for Disneyland. It seems the moment you pay they try to ghost you. Super unprofessional I would advise if you have an option steer well clear of flight centre.

Positive experience: Update #2: Thank you Karli for being extremely helpful and accommodating. I appreciate you following up promptly and your customer service is excellent! You are clearly extremely busy and I appreciate the communication and time you spent helping me book flights! To the company - I think post covid you need more staff at Gungahlin and/or to open weekends. Each time I went in the staff we’re constantly busy and this results in the experience I originally had (not their fault). Karli is an asset to your business and I appreciate the work she did for me. Update #1 After posting this I received a quote that evening (after business hours) Karli has been extremely helpful. Original Post: I would give 0 stars if possible. Originally emailed for a quote for flights 26.07.23 to Cherie after she provided us her card. After numerous follow up emails and no response I went in 04.08.23 and spoke to Karli who I forwarded my email enquiry too. Karli received the email while I was there and advised I would have a reply with prices 07.08.23. It is now late on 09.08.23 and I still have no quote for flights. I have to add, this centre is by appointment only and I was advised it’s easiest to communicate via email! I’ll be going to another agency to book my flights. If obtaining pricing for 4 people is this hard with the flight centre imagine if I needed their assistance while overseas! You’d be stranded!

Fantastic experience: Karli was outstanding!! She was so kind and knowledgeable in our first meeting talking through our options. She then booked an 8 week trip across 11 countries for us and she did not miss one detail! We loved our time with Karli, her warm and funny nature made her an absolute pleasure! Negative experience: When I spoke to an agent on the phone I was advised that I did not need to come in - just email through what I was looking for and they would get back to me in a few hours. Sweet right! Wrong. I never heard from them even after I followed up. I have not had a good experience with this company.
Fantastic experience: Despite dealing with a lot of enquiries, Flight Centre Gunghlin was still able to give us excellent service. We scheduled a meeting with Karli Stonham, and we had a wonderful talk right away. She recognises both our wants and preferences before making thoughtful ideas with professionalism. Would definitely come back and book another trip from here again.

Negative experience: We entered the store today and not one person acknowledged us. Of course we didn't mind waiting but not one person said hello, asked what we were after or offered any help. Craig walked in after some time and offered to help. We hadn't made an appt so we understand he couldn't help us there and then but he said email him with our travel plans and he would book it for us in the afternoon. We had everything worked out and emailed it to him. We rang him after a couple of hours and he said, "I will TRY and get to it." We had to have this trip booked today as the the travel vouchers expired the day after and they weren't open. He also knew this. With nearly $2000 in vouchers to be used we were not going to risk losing this money so he could TRY and book our holiday even though we had done the work for him pretty much. We rang our local flight centre back in S.A and they sorted it within 30 mins. They assured us not to stress and they would sort the holiday out in-between their appts they had booked. Craig was not very accommodating or welcoming from the start ...do not recommend!! Very poor customer service.

Negative experience: I went there looking for a return ticket to latin America. As they're very expensive right now, i was told to look online and let'm know. Next day I went back since I thought I'd found a cheaper one, and then a lady at an office for FC said they couldn't do it. I was told sth completely different the day before.

Negative experience: I made an appointment and I took time off work to get to my appointment on time. Lady just took a walk-in ahead of me. I waited for 25 minutes then left as I had to go back to work. Extremely poor service. This place has really gone downhill

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the staff. Managed our Christmas holiday with in budget and decent flight times and accomodation. Due staffing you do need to book a time slot to visit them in person

Negative experience: As an ex - flighty myself I know the standards that should be met for each and every client’s travel enquiry but my experience with Craig was beyond disappointing. I went in asking to get a full quote (which should include flights, accommodation options, transfers, activities, car hire, travel insurance, etc) put together and emailed to me. Instead I got the flight times printed and a hotel name and price scrawled on it and was sent on my way. I got home and realised I hadn’t gotten half the information I needed so I emailed him asking him to add a few things I needed so I could get booked in. I never got a reply and ended up doing the entire thing myself. But I feel bad for anyone who doesn’t have the knowledge or resources to be able to book it themselves and have to rely on agents like this.

Negative experience: I am having a very difficult experience with this store after booking a family trip of a lifetime. There are errors in our itinerary for a holiday that we have paid for in full and I am unable to get any assitance to resolve this. I have been trying to get help for a week! There have been multiple changes to my travel agent so I have no idea who I am meant to be dealing with, there has been no response to my multiple emails or voice messages, the stores (Gungahlin, ACT) mailbox is now full, I can't book an online appointment to see someone in person and I can't get assistance from the 24hr number as I am not travelling in the next 24 hours.

Fantastic experience: I walked in to get some information about travelling to Canada. I was greeted by Charlotte who was great. She gave me a heap of brochures and information about the upcoming travel expo and checked that she had my email so that she could contact me prior to the event. Charlotte was friendly and very helpful, I will definitely see her when I'm ready book.
Negative experience: I am very disappointed in knowledge the staff have of the products they sell and the customer service is appalling. We made the mistake of booking two organised tours and flights though them. We were first told that one of the tours was not offered in December. We had already looked at the internet we knew that it was and told the agent that she should look at the winter catalog and not the summer catalog. Good thing we did our research or we would have missed a great trip to Egypt. The agent then insisted that we make full payment for everything within a week or we would lose the discount that the tour company offered. We later found out that this was incorrect and all that was required to secure the discount was a 10% deposit. The balance could have been paid up to three months later. We decided to book a third tour to fill the gap between the two tours. I did this myself online direct with the tour company and it was much easier and more convenient. More importantly there was not the requirement to make several trips to the travel agent and the discounts that the travel agent claimed that only she could secure for us (and only with full payment) we got with a 10% deposit. Our Travel documents arrived from the tour company by email in a convenient PDFs file that we could store on multiple devices and print out if we chose. We were told by the travel agent to drop by their office ' anytime'to pick up our travel documents. When we arrived the agent we were dealing with was at lunch. We asked another agent At Flight Centre if we could pick up the documents - we were told that she didn't know where they were and we would have to come back in 30 minutes - vey convenient. When we finally got our travel documents (a great pile of paper) we asked if the travel agent could email us a PDF copy so that we could store on multiple devices. She promised she would. We never received them. I recently contacted the agent to see if we could change our return flights. That was Monday. She replied saying she would send the information on Friday. It is now Saturday in Gunghalin and we are still waiting. We head to Morrocco today and will have intermittent access to Internet. Again great customer service - not. There is another travel agent in Gunghalin - I don' t know how good they are but I can't imagine they could be worse. The only reason we went to a travel agent in the first place is that given the countries we were travelling to (Egypt & Morocco) we thought it would be useful to have a travel agent in Australia that could sort out problems ( like changing flights). That was a mistake. The agents email signature states that 'the greatest compliment she could receive is to recommend her to your friends'. In that spirit I can not recommend Flight Centre Gunghalin to anyone. Use them at your own perial.
Fantastic experience: Lisa was friendly, efficient, thorough, helpful, booked everything car, motel, flights. Great advice too. The flights were great. well priced also time between flights. Everything went smoothly.
