Helloworld Travel Belconnen

Negative experience: We contacted Helloworld for a family of 6 travellers heading from Sydney to Delhi (5 returning) . They somehow stuffed up the booking with 4 separate bookings made. They also couldn't get 5 economy seats on the return legs so they booked (at their cost) a premium economy seat. This was very nice of them but we had wanted 5 seats together and they then couldn't help us with trying to seat together. When the airline cancelled the flight to Delhi , our separate bookings resulted i us travelling in separate airlines! Helloworld couldn't help. Overall our dealings with them were polite but ineffectual. We have never used a travel agency before (despite many years and extensive travel)- and never will again. Strongly recommend avoiding this travel agency! There are much better ones in Canberra

Fantastic experience: I have visited Belconnen office and Wendy was a travel agent who has helped me. She is such an angel, polite and friendly and at the same time very knowledgeable. She was able to find the best connections for me and my son and organised all very efficiently. The best travel agent ever, I hope my travel experience would be as good as dealing with Wendy.

Fantastic experience: Kim Hall was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions and issues. We did run into a significant issue when leaving the US concerning the way our tickets were booked. I am not entirely sure what the issue was but the issue of it being a one way booking the computer chucked out our seat assignments. It was confusing but United got it sorted out after a bit of time on the phone. Good thing we arrived super early for our flight.

Fantastic experience: We have used Helloworld Travel Belconnen for several years. To date, they are without doubt, the best around. Efficient, knowledgeable and courteous staff are always on hand to assist. Our favourite staff member is Kimberly Hall. Nothing is ever to hard for Kim. Go see them. You won’t be disappointed.

Positive experience: Kim from Helloworld Belconnen organised a 13 day Trafalgar trip of Japan which turned out to be the best, a comprehensive overview of Japan's 2,500 year history and it recent history of the past 70 years and it's current culture and lifestyle, what an enjoyable education and fabulous travel experiences, loads of in depth exploring, fun times with our travel companions and scenery and food to die for, can only thank Kim and Helloworld heaps for this adventure.

Fantastic experience: Kangaroo Island is really a place of rest and peace. The wild life sanctuaries are exciting places of visits as the guides were well informed.This is the place where the environment is unspoilt. Thanks for the details in the arrangement of our travel. Fantastic experience: Kimberly at Helloworld Belconnen has done an amazing job in arranging two complex tours for us in 2018, 1 to Spain and Portugal and then Canada then another to Vietnam and Cambodia.Rverything went very smoothly we’d strongly recommend Helloworld Belconnen.

Fantastic experience: We booked our flight to the States this year through Helloworld for the first time. Kim was recommended to us by friends but we have found all the staff in the Belconnen office to be very pleasant and helpful. We were very happy with the bookings Kim organised for us and have booked our February trip. Kim advised us on our return that an airline in the States had cancelled a flight so she offered a couple of suggestions with a preferred option. We appreciated Kim looking at alternate flight routes and times before contacting us as it made it very easy for us to make a decision. Highly recommend Helloworld!

Fantastic experience: Wendy is a phenomenal travel agent. I recently returned from a complex trip across south america which Wendy booked for me. I love the way she was able to think outside the box and book me a round the world ticket via europe where I was able to visit family - all for cheaper than the return flights via buenos aires that I was looking at!! Extremely patient and knowledgeable; I got the sense she was absolutely looking to get the most out of the airlines for me. She looked at countless different routings before locking in the flights we did. Importantly, I found her to be not just pleasant to deal with, but also fun, particularly over the phone when comparing all the options.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Wendy Jack for all she did for me in June 2017. We had been planning a holiday to Europe and Thailand, when on the day we planned to fly out my father became very ill. We contacted Wendy and arranged new flights to see him. Sadly he died the next day. Wendy then, at our request, cancelled the Europe leg of our trip, (which included internal flights, ferries and accommodation) re-booked Thailand and got refunds for as much as she could. At that time, we would not have been able to do any of that ourselves. What Wendy had organised for us in Chiang Mai was great. Her experience, knowledge and thoughtfulness made a very sad time much better. We have been booking our travels with Wendy for many years and will continue to do for many more. Thank you Wendy

Negative experience: Poor communication, mistakes, extremely uncaring attitude, complete lack of understanding of basics when booking flights, absolutely the most horrible experience with Wendy and because of her sheer incompetence my child may be stuck overseas unable to come home or seated alone. Appalling and stressful experience.
