Negative experience: Absolutely devastated. So I make a phone call just a minute ago to check our bookings that I made back March 2025 for the accommodation trip to Gold Coast. Unfortunately the person that used to do our bookings left. The woman answers my call she is one of those staff members that not willing to assist at all. I ending up hang up the phone with disappointment.

Negative experience: Worst walk in Customer service I have ever experienced. Don't waste your time or energy, as the staff couldn't be bothered with you, UNLESS you're ready to book your holiday.

Negative experience: Went in to book a specific cruise and unfortunately it was sold out. My partner was taking a call outside so I came out to tell him it was sold out, we went back in and he asked the lady behind the desk about the cruise, she replied “just to let you know at 5pm our systems will be shut down so we won’t be able to process a booking past then” the time was 4:20pm. If it was going to take her 40 minutes to book a 4 day mini cruise im glad she made it known up front. My partner then asked if there were any similar cruises (similar length, similar price as he wanted to pay part cash in store) - she replied “well the prices are on their website but I can have a look for you”. I just left, her attitude was appalling. I had already been in so it was clear we were ready to book, we wanted to be in and out as soon as possible but checking her soon to be shut down system was much too difficult on a Friday evening. Won’t be booking future cruises in this branch :) Thanks!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been booking through Alex for years and she is amazing! Alex has helped organise multiple overseas trips for me and my daughters, one being throughout Europe with multiple countries and flights included and me changing my mind a ridiculous amount of times but with each change, Alex adjusted whatever she needed to and never made me feel bad! When we lost our luggage, Alex made sure the insurance dealt with everything and stayed in contact before, during and after the trip to make sure everything was great. A trip I organised on my own, I asked Alex questions about how to do certain things and she didn’t hesitate to help me even though she didn’t have to at all! I was so pleased with her professionalism that I booked our next holiday with her and another big Europe trip coming up because I know everything is fully taken care of and I don’t have to stress over anything. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Completely rude, have no customer service experience, was asked to leave as making a phone call was a priority, about to spend 50k on a holiday, there loss and will be another agents gain, absolutely devastated as I took my wife to surprise with a European holiday,

Fantastic experience: Sarah is truly an asset to the team at Rockdale Flight Centre. She helped me change my booking a few days before I was due to fly out. Her approachable nature made everything run smoothly - I didn’t need to go into the store at all! Our communication took place via email & a few phone calls here and there. Negative experience: Not happy, had claimed insurance for a trip that we had to abort due to operation, this was cancelled in February, found out Monday 5/6/22 they hadn't even sent our claims in, also asked about holiday in Samoa, didn't know, so we won't be going to book trips there,

Negative experience: After booking exit seats and paid for they call me a week later indicating cannot have those seats.
Negative experience: Went on a Cruise in October 2022 unfortunately I got Covid. I got a letter stating i would get a refund within 2 weeks of returning to Australia which was nice on the Cruise Liner to do. When I rang the Cruise Line I got told I needed to get in contact with the Flight Centre Rockdale because I booked through them. So I have been told a cheque was sent to the flight centre on the 20th Feb 2023 no reply to my emails from Jane & Vivian i started all of this on 27th Dec 2022. No reply to emails and no return phone calls. I rang Barry this morning still waiting for a call back.This is the worst customer service if ever there was.

Negative experience: Went to the store to make a booking. Waited 10mins as staff on the phone. Lady then asked if I had an appointment, which I didn’t so I wrote down what I was after with all my details and was told would be contacted within 2 days. Didn’t hear so called up and no one could find the paper I left them, so was told someone would call back within the hour. That was 4 weeks ago and I still haven’t been contacted

We understand our agents are in high demand at the moment due to the rapid relaunch of travel with post covid staffing restrictions, so this is making it tricky for our team to take care of every customer immediately, unfortunately. If you can make an appointment with your local store, we do recommend this so that your consultant can dedicate tme to sit with you to plan your trip :)
Negative experience: When Jay was there it was amazing.. service now is almost non existent. Am overseas and trying urgently to bet back home.. phone calls never answered and when they did answer said they were busy and they would call back.. never did. Emails went unanswered. Had to call emergency flight center to get help. Have to say emergency care is amazing! But Rockdale store has lost my business.

Negative experience: Disgraceful service. Went there at 10.25am and was told by a lady sitting behind her desk she had an appointment at 11 so she was too busy to serve me and to make an appointment. I have used Flight Centre many time in the past and I went there specifically today to book and pay for an international flight. I will not use these lazy, rude & unhelpful people now or ever again.

Negative experience: I bought a ticket in March to travel to south america, I saw Jackson who at first was very nice, I told him where I wanted to go and dates , He found a rout that was perfect and accept it also I bought travel insurance at the same time, I paid on the spot for everything and I thought that was the end of it I was set to travel on the 1st of June BUT 2 weeks later He called me to tell me that air line had cancelled the flight which was a lie. and He had giving me another itinerary that was completely unsuitable to me, and one I had not bought to start off with. On top of that He was very unfriendly and told me that I had to take one because I had not choice, He was forcing that other itinerary to me without consulting me and asking me if it was OK, with me. He has not customer service skills He gets defensive in stead of trying to help you and correct HIS mistake and threatened me also He told that I wouldn't get the money back until 3 months time. Vivian who is manager whom He put me through to correct His mistake was also not very friendly either and tried to cover for him told me that SHE would help me as well with another itinerary that was not the same as the original agreement an THEN SHE WENT ON LEAVE AND DID NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN. AND DID NOT CARE, AT THE SAME TIME JACKSON WENT ON LEAVE LEAVING ME IN THE LURCH, THEY CAME BACK FROM THEIR LEAVE AND DID NOT CONTACT ME, SO I HAD TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF FAIR TRADING AND THE ACCC. SO FAR STILL TO TODAY I HAVE NOT GOT THE MONEY BACK. THE WORST SERVICE EVER.

Fantastic experience: Jay has been organising my bookings and has gone above and beyond for me. He gives me the best deals and recommendations on tours. I contact him via email or phone advising where and when I want to travel including tours and he organises it all for me. Even when I leave it to the last minute. Which I do most of the tme. Excellent service.

Negative experience: I put a call through in April for a package to be put together or suggested when the circumstances allow and they didn't bother getting back to me until August. I know COVID-19 has caused havoc but the fundamental principal of customer service and the courtesy of replying shouldn't be affected, only the capacity to reach a destination. When I finally called in August to investigate why there was no response the person that took my call thought he was funny when he said "Oh! I hope you didn't loose any sleep over it?" Flight Centre has a lot more to tackle than just COVID-19 to try and regain ground for their share price.

Fantastic experience: As a relatively frequent traveller, I have been booking international flights and other overseas holiday related services through Rockdale Flight Centre since October 2007. I keep returning as, during all that time, I have found every staff member I have dealt with most responsive, friendly, efficient and helpful. We have had some complicated scenarios including having to change bookings or cancel trips through the sudden illness of family members and, on each occasion, the matter has been cheerfully and skilfully resolved to everyone's satisfaction by the Rockdale team. In recent years, I have dealt on many occasions with Bobby and Jay, who go out of their way to assist with all requests and who also often inject some great humour into what can sometimes be arduous flight connection searches, travel insurance claims and hotel or vehicle bookings. I also am confident that I will not get a better deal online due to their flight price protection guarantee through the Captain's Package. Whenever I enter the premises to discuss a new travel plan, I feel that the holiday is already beginning. Thanks to each one of you in the Rockdale shop: Ipek, Vivian, Trinity, Adam for all your knowledge, expertise, good humour and for making holiday planning such a joy!

Fantastic experience: I have the most wonderful person as my travel agent and that is Vivian from Flight Centre, Rockdale. Vivian has been looking after my bookings for some years now and she knows that I am a rather demanding person who is always wanting the best and at the cheapest price. On this last occasion I booked for my upcoming flight in July and also September. I gave Vivian a challenge which I thought she would not be able to deliver, but not only did Vivian deliver but the price obtained was simply amazing better than I could do myself by searching for hours over the various sites on the internet. More than happy to speak to anybody personally about how wonderful Vivian is. Fantastic experience: We’ve been coming to see Bobby in Rockdale now for over 4 years. We’ve booked cruises, domestic trips to SA & Vic and now 3 international holidays with flights and accommodation. Bobby and the team he works with are fantastic. Kind and helpful whilst being efficient and looking after my love of travel on a budget. I regularly refer my friends and workmates to Bobby and if you’re reading this... I encourage you to do so too.

Fantastic experience: I wouldn't go anywhere else but Rockdale FC for my flight and travel bookings. And I wouldn't go past Jay for his knowledge of the industry. I have booked for trips with one person up to 13 people with multi stage legs and transfers. Jay helps with planning trips, bookings flights and hotels, communicates effectively what the challenges could be are and always looks at options to make the trip the best for me and my travel companions.
