Fantastic experience: We have purchased a deposit ticket through Yonda for a 3 night stay at Fraser Island. I put in the dates I wanted and had a phone call from a very helpful consultant at Yonda. She explained everything to me with prompt email of booking confirmation and ferry confirmation. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Won’t be booking through them again. Told me I could no longer cancel as I was within the 35days, (which I wasn’t). Once I pointed out the date that I asked for a cancellation, they decided I could change my booking date (for an extra $50) but no refund. (This was their good will gesture).

Negative experience: Update: complaint team read my below review and gave me a call. They were able to change my booking to the correct dates for an addition $50 fee, which is better than losing the holiday or time off work. This is the 2nd time I have used Yonda for a holiday and both times it has not been a smooth and easy process, however the holiday is always good. Terrible. The cheap holiday got me in. However the website to book my holiday didnt allow me to book, so I had no choice but to call, they then charged me a booking fee, they made the booking a day outside of the dates I requested, and refused to change it, so I either have to miss out on work, or lose the money I paid for the holiday. I talked to the accommodation place and they are willing to change my booking they just need Yonda to do it from their end and Yonda is refusing.

Fantastic experience: My experience was great because I was able to have peace of mind about the holiday booking thanks to the kindness and patience of Angelica. The process of booking was lengthened on my part as I tried for about 3 months to get a checkmate with my husband on a suitable date due to his demanding job but at the end of the day Angel was there to give me all the information we needed in a professional and understanding way and that gave me confidence that the holiday booking would all work out for me and my little family. Thanks so much for all your help Angel, I'm super excited to make the most of our beautiful beach resort location!

Negative experience: Inflexible with dates, not that much cheaper and charge you if you want to change dates. Just not worth it

Fantastic experience: I booked through Yonda over a year ago. Was really looking forward to my holiday this weekend but because of the cyclone on the gold coast we wanted to change our dates. I called the number expecting to be on hold for ages however was surprised at how quickly my call was answered. Chelsea helped me and was extremely polite and helpful. Negative experience: I will never use a travel booking agency again after my terrible experience with Yonda. Their fees are excessive, and their Yonda GO Dollars are a complete sham. When I received quotes for my trip, I did my due diligence and compared prices—only to find that I could book the exact same flights and accommodation for over $5,000 less than what Yonda quoted me. When I shared this pricing with them, all of a sudden the 'GO dollars' were also reduced. Despite this, I proceeded with them due to friend connection to an employee and the owner of Yonda so I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and expected a seamless experience. I could not have been more wrong. We booked Business Class return flights for our family of five, including three small children (ages 8, 4, and 2). When Yonda booked our return flight, they seated us separately throughout the cabin—including my 8-year-old sitting alone and myself in a different part of the plane. I immediately raised concerns, as I never would have approved this booking had I known we wouldn’t be seated together. Yonda assured me they would contact the airline to rectify the issue. For over two months, I followed up, only to be told they could not change our seating. The only option was to change our flight, which Yonda advised would incur a $1,250 change fee—a fee I should never have been charged, given the issue was entirely due to their poor booking management. This process was incredibly stressful, and with no accountability from Yonda, I ultimately decided to cancel our entire holiday. I was then informed that cancelling the flights would incur an additional $3,250 cancellation fee. It took Yonda over eight weeks to return my money, and when they finally did, they had deducted $4,500 in fees— a staggering 25% of the total cost of my flights. When I questioned the justification for these fees, Yonda falsely claimed that they were airline-imposed charges. However, after directly calling Singapore Airlines and providing my ticket numbers, the airline confirmed that no fees were charged to move or cancel my flights. When I contacted the owner to demand an explanation, I was provided with nothing more than a basic invoice listing “Cancellation Fee: $3,250” and “Change Fee: $1,250”—with no breakdown or evidence of why these charges were applied. Yonda refused to provide any further transparency. Yonda’s handling of my booking was unprofessional, dishonest, and completely lacking in accountability. If you value transparent pricing, ethical business practices, and responsive customer service, avoid Yonda at all costs.
