Negative experience: We have visited your branch on multiple occasions and sent numerous emails in an effort to resolve a refund for a trip my parents were unfortunately unable to attend. Despite our persistent follow-ups, we have yet to receive any meaningful update or resolution. Tragically, my mother passed away in February 2024. We were advised by Callum Molyneux to provide her death certificate, which we have done. However, since submitting all required documentation, we have not received any further response. It is deeply disappointing and disheartening that such a well-established branch has shown a lack of empathy and urgency in handling a matter so sensitive. We kindly ask that this be escalated immediately and a clear resolution or next steps be provided without further delay.

Fantastic experience: I rang the general Flight Centre number and came through to Callum Molyneux at Northland. We had an urgent request as my daughter was stranded at Reykjavik airport after her flights home were cancelled by Qatar airways. Callum was fabulous. He found new flights to get my daughter home safely within half an hour. He was professional, courteous and very understanding of our stress. He sent through emails with flight details and tickets quickly and was most helpful. I can highly recommend Callum for future holidays.

In this case, it does sound like you booked a non-refundable ticket and therefore the airline will not process a refund for you. Negative experience: My dad and uncle booked their flights at Northland flight centre with James! They had left on the 4th of April and were meant to come back on the 20 of May, although when they arrived at Copenhagen airport for their return flight, there was no ticket for their flight! It had been cancelled by flight centre on April 8th after they had already landed in Copenhagen! They were not notified that flight centre had cancelled their tickets due to booking the wrong return date and a new ticket for the right return date was never rebooked, appalling service will never book through flight centre again

Negative experience: I had a deeply disappointing experience with James at Flight Centre Northland. My friend and I visited the store last Sunday morning to get a quote for a three-week trip to America. We were very clear from the start that we wanted pricing for both flights and accommodation before making any decisions. However, despite reiterating this multiple times, James insisted on quoting flights first and only providing accommodation options after we paid. The store was completely empty, yet instead of assisting us on the spot, he handed us his card and told us to email him our details. This seemed odd, given that he had the time to help us then and there. I emailed him an hour later with everything we had discussed, and while he responded quickly asking for our personal details, things took a turn after I sent them through on Monday. James assured us we’d receive a full quote by Tuesday morning at the latest. Yet, Tuesday came and went with no follow-up. I sent a follow-up email at midday to check if he had everything he needed—still no response. This was especially frustrating as he had stressed the urgency of booking Qantas flights that were supposedly on sale. Yet, instead of moving quickly as he had advised, we found ourselves chasing him. A week later today, Sunday we finally received it. Not only were the prices higher than what was initially quoted in-store, but the quote also failed to include accommodation, despite our clear request both in person and over email. Given the delay, it makes me think we missed out on the sale purely due to the poor service. At this point, we’ve decided not to book through Flight Centre. Regardless of price, we would rather work with a travel agent who provides attentive, reliable service and makes us feel like valued customers. This experience was frustrating from start to finish, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone looking for efficient and professional travel assistance.

Negative experience: Worst customer service ever. I was standing there for 10 minutes with two staff on shift working and neither of them acknowledging me at all. I was ready to make a holiday booking however walked out due to the long wait and lack of customer service they just lost a customer

Negative experience: So disappointed with the service from James at Preston Flight Centre. I replied back to his email and he never got back to me. I then went in to see him in person, gave my details again, called on Friday, called on Saturday twice . Was told that he was going to send me a quote in 30mins of that call but never did. No courtesy call to let me know, no email follow up -nothing. I feel like I'm chasing someone who doesn't want to take my business. Utterly disappointed as I was looking forward to booking this cruise that's supposed to be in 6 weeks hence the hurry.

Fantastic experience: I walked in for a quote on my honeymoon with my partner and we both walked out with the biggest smile on our faces. Fantastic experience: I had a really good experience with KATRINA KENFIELD at the FlightCentre Northland office. She spent 3 or even 4 hours organising my trip and tours. I travel to Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, UAE, and Singapore. My itinerary was well sorted out, and all of my turs were booked with a reputable tour company. I was in great hands. Throughout the process of organising my trip, Katrina was so lovely and patient. I had some issues with one of my tours whilst I was overseas, I emailed Katrina, and she was so quick to respond. I really appreciated her service & care. I highly recommend Katrina and FlightCentre at Northland Shopping Centre.

Negative experience: Don’t book a ticket in northland flight centre with the agent KATRINA KENFIELD. She change my ticket without ask me and change the itinerary .We wait in the aeroport more then 12 hours . So disappointed.

Negative experience: I initially left a positive review after booking flights in store, however I have now removed the review as it no longer accurately reflects the extremely poor service I have subsequently received from Flight Centre Northland. It has been 3 months since I raised an issue and it is yet to be resolved. Communication from Flight Centre has been appalling; extremely delayed responses and sometimes even no response, despite my following up on multiple occasions. No explanation has been given for the delays in response or resolution of my issue. I thought booking through a travel agent would make my trip easier, however it has made it a very stressful experience.

Positive experience: I have booked travel through Flight Centre Northland in the past without any problems however my recent booking with them a $25 Captains Pack was added to my booking without my request. Upon querying this with the travel consultant the reply was this was something we always did to which I said it has never happened to me in the past and I have booked 3 trips in the last 8 months with Flight Centre. Further contacting Flight Centre customer service I was advised the Captains Pack package is an optional package and should not been added to my booking unless requested. Other travellers booking with Flight Centre please be aware of this.

Fantastic experience: We recently booked business class airfares to Europe for next year with Renee and she was an absolute legend. Whilst the process could've been done in 20 minutes or so, we spent 2 hours with her over 2 different sit-downs and lot of that time she was just trading invaluable trading tips. What might sound like a small tidbit of information can be extremely helpful. This is probably where all the value-add is. Would be referring back to Renee for other aspects of our holiday.

Fantastic experience: Went here to exchange foreign currency. The staff member was very helpful, price matched for a rate I found online. Put in far more effort than most places to make my experience hassle free and effortless from my end. Can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service!! I just started planning my first trip overseas, slightly anxious prior to going in to seeing a travel against as I had no clue what I was doing. James did a fantastic job calming my nerves and explaining the process. He had incredible knowledgeable and gave me huge amount of confidence and excitement for my trip. He worked around plans I’ve already booked and made great recommendations regarding timeline and transport. Very excited to continue working with James and plan out this holiday!!

Negative experience: I have booked an Europe trip three months ago and rebooked another appointment to finalise the trip. When we get to store, we were told that our appointment has been moved to one hour later. We rushed in to keep our schedule to then being made to wait. The appointment was not even in the calendar at my requested time.

Fantastic experience: Danny was amazing in organising flights for my wife and I from Melbourne to Cuba to Rome and back to Melbourne again. We knew getting to Cuba was going to be tough and we didn’t want to transit at all through the US and he made it work. In comparison to other travel agents and other Flight Centre stores we visited he was by far the best and managed to save us between $1400 to $2000 in comparison to the other agents, and that’s including travel insurance. From the moment we walked in the store he was very friendly and inviting. He listened to what we were after and did his absolute best to meet our needs. We also recommended him to the rest of our tour group.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgraceful service, my husband's flight is in less than 24hours and can't check in as the itinerary is missing from the airlines website - having been on hold for over 15mins with the store, we called the emergency line and were told we have to go back and call the centre again. 30minutes on and we're finally through. One instance wouldn't be a problem but this is not unusual for this one booking and has been the same experience since first booking back in January. It reminds me why I never go through travel centres - and will most certainly never deal with flight centre again. Please go direct with airlines. Update: At 9.30 we spoke to Jess who told my husband she would call him back. It's now 3pm and no word despite multiple attempts to call the store. His flight is at 7.30 in the morning. I'm not sure how to respond to Flight Centres review but the fact that they didn't even read the review properly says so much - I said I called the emergency line first and their advice is to call the emergency line... Such incompetence and so very disappointing. 2nd update: I know an update for review but I think it's important to show the level of incompetence. Husband ended up going to flight Centre - of course without an appointment he had to wait. While waiting he tried the airline and was told that the ticket hadn't been issued and was about to be cancelled. When he got off the phone with the airline (who we tried originally but told we had to deal with travel agent) Danny told him it had all been fixed. Funny that... This is just unbelievable. This was a 40th present that was meant to bring joy. We will never go with a travel agent again, never mind Northland, never mind Flight Centre. They are single handedly ruining their own market. Minus stars if it were possible. This review will be posted where possible and through word of mouth. No one should be treated like this. As another review said, they take your money and ghost you.

Whilst online check-in is wonderful, it is not compulsory or enforced, and the online team can absolutely assist with this, where our 24/7 emergency assist seek to prioritize customers in emergencies, and whilst travelling overseas for urgent matters. Our online team are accessible 24 hours a day, and of course could help in this circumstance for you.

Negative experience: what a joke, tried ringing 8 times at 9.10am to speak to travel money oz in the flight centre, had the line automatically disconnected the first 7 times, then got an answering machine who said I needed to go in to book an "appointment" then automatically hung up. What they are that important and busy they can't be bothered with potential clients??? will go elsewhere now, good indication for me not to book a holiday there.. no stars at all, but have to give one to post. Funny the reply below, if they had read mine correctly, then they would have seen it was flight centre phone line that was the issue not travel money oz. Found the phone number myself much quicker than their answer

Negative experience: My partner and i booked a trip with Renee to Africa and in the end we ended up booking majority of it ourselves due to frustration and lack of communication. Our communication with Renee was appalling, we wouldn't hear back from her weeks at a time, when we did hear from her we were told money was due in 24hrs time which was ridiculous considering we haven't heard from her in weeks. One time i called to get clarification about the trip a guy answered the phone whom then put Renee on whom said" im actually on leave at the moment and shouldn't be answering this call what the problem" what a disgusting response when all i required was clarification about our trip YOUR "trying" to organise for us. Once money was paid we were ghosted for weeks on end not knowing what was happening. We will never use flight centre again and have told friends about our experience absolutely disgusting service and she didn't care about being at work or wanting to perform well at her job.

Positive experience: Thank you northland staff for your help, advise and support getting my family to a well deserved break, we understand that most of the staff are new and doing their best to help. Negative experience: So rude. Went in to book a simple flight. Knew dates and had all the details. I went in and a man said “come back in three weeks….we MIGHT be able to fit you” while holding his hand up like a stop sign. His loss. Go to Ivanhoe Flight Centre. Much nicer.

Negative experience: Worst service I have received in years! And don’t take their comment below seriously at all as I did reach out to them and never received a response! Once Renee received the money from us, she stopped responding and I had to chase her for nearly 3 months!! 1) stuffed up the booking, 2) provided incorrect information 3) charged extra for a service she didn’t provide at all and lastly 4) ended up changing the flight to a much more inconvenient one last minute before checking with us! This was the first and last time I used flight centre for booking any ticket.

If you book a trip with Jay, be prepared to be your own travel agent, he doesnt do anything and hardly responds What is the point then, might as well book and plan your own trips. Negative experience: What a joke! We got there at 1.50pm and were told to sit and wait it “wouldn’t be long”. At 2.20pm one of the incompetent workers said “5mins guys”. Still waiting at 3.15pm - that’s almost 1.5 hours sitting there - another Incompetent worker finished with his client, THEN WALKED OUT THE BACK FOR 5 mins and then decided to come over with a grin and tell us they were closing and couldn’t see us. Idiots!! And DON’T reply with some “make an appointment” rubbish. If at 2.20pm were told we wouldn’t be seen we would have said no problem.

Negative experience: Has turned into the worse customer experience of my life. Have tried to escalate this via email, direct calls, Twitter messages and never get a response. I am trying to finalise a trip booked with them from last year, which was hard enough to make happen and now no responses or correspondence for 6 weeks and counting. I have never found it so hard to give a company money in my life. Extremely disappointed.

Negative experience: It’s hard to get an appointment with flight Centre these days let alone get through to them on the phone. Northland is slightly better with answering there phones but once there for my appointment kept me waiting for 30 minutes! This was to get an appointment with a trainee who didn’t know much at all(I know not his fault)!! Luckily I only needed to book 1 hotel reservation. I would have done this on the phone but I had a gift certificate which could not be used online and the price for the hotel I wanted to book was cheaper on their website but they wouldn’t honour that price in-store!!!! My advice - book online with another company!!!!

Negative experience: Adrian is the most pathetic travel agent wouldn’t help me but would chat to people he works with what , isn’t being a team member suppose to mean helping customers appointments or no appointments at Flight Centre suppose to be the job there’s a person who worked at flight Centre many years ago who could work for flight centre again if wanted to and would be better then him I hope you fire him or provide weeks of training

Negative experience: Worst ever. Ghosted once they got their money. I have tried to call Adrian and email Adrian for six weeks just to be ignored. I said to Renee if he can't help get someone else to help me but no one called me. I needed help with my trip and Adrian just ignored me. Extremely terrible service. They just grab the money and run and hardly organised anything. Never recommend them to anyone. I give minus zero stars

Negative experience: If you book an appointment with Adrian you better hope you never did he is the most pathetic travel agent I have ever seen or come across. He just lies, makes 0 effort on top of that his customer service is just as pathetic as he is. I don't know how he has a job from how useless he is. I went in store and waited for ages after being noticed. He said they had no appointments available. I left walked back and he was chatting with other staff. Couldn't book me in for a week. Promised he'd call me and I got nothing back for over a week. If flight centre do keep him on this poor guy needs weeks of training for how to do his job.

Negative experience: Can't list all of the problems we have had with Flight Centre Northland. Needless to say that stranded and away from home is not fun! They use a third party to book all travel so do yourself a favour and use Expedia yourself and cut out the middle-man. Northland store only open during bus hours.

Negative experience: Never ever deal with this store! Adrian is an absolute disgrace and sells products to elderly people who don’t know what they are purchasing. Natasha the store manager will not accept in any capacity their misconduct or accept any responsibility for the immoral behavior of her staff. Adrian will not respond to emails in a timely manner or at all and refuses to acknowledge he is preying on vulnerable senior citizen. Avoid this store at all cost before you get tripped off! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Negative experience: Decrepit service, I received gift vouchers which need to be claimed in store, drove 20 mins to the retail site, waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged, asked if I could book my flight and I was told to return next week. Do not attend.

Hi Alex, so sorry to see you had this experience. Since travel has opened back up, our agents are working through an extremely large volume of enquiries. This means they have to prioritise bookings that are due to depart soon and have to ask customers to make an appointment. So sorry that this made for a negative experience but thanks for passing on this feedback, we really appreciate it.

Negative experience: It literally says flight center is open! I went there and it is freaking closed! I rang the number on the door to book a face to face appointment and the next available appointment "to book a flight" is literally 2 weeks later. I then said okay that's fine, I'll just book it over the phone. Well apparently it's also another 2 weeks just to book a phone appointment!! Which is literally 1 day before I actually have to fly. The fact that they are allowing me to leave my flights booked at the very last minute is extremely unprofessional in itself!!! Can't book in person, can't book on the phone!! I might as well not go on my trip. Sigh.

Negative experience: I have been using Flight Centre for years and by far, the customer service level of this place has provide me with a very bad experience that left a bad taste. Really shocking. Rude and unhelpful.

Positive experience: Ive used Flight Centre 3 times now to travel to Norway. The staff are quiet helpful setting up flights, and keeping up to date with itenary changes. So if ur planning to travel give them a go. I feel we got to help this industry get back on its feet. Its taken a battering lately.
