Negative experience: I recently booked a work trip to China through Flight Centre, relying on Isabelle Pisani, the store manager, to ensure my special meal requests were arranged. I have life-threatening anaphylactic allergies, so this was a critical requirement for my flights. Unfortunately, despite clear communication and assurances, none of the flight attendants on my flights had any record of my dietary needs. This resulted in me having no safe food for the entire journey, including a 9-hour overnight flight where I had no choice but to starve. This level of negligence is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with serious medical conditions. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of care and attention to detail from Isabelle Pisani and Flight Centre as a whole. This was not just an inconvenience—it was a serious health risk. I trusted them to handle something as basic as a meal request, and they failed. I would not recommend booking with Flight Centre if you have any dietary requirements, especially severe allergies, as they clearly do not take them seriously.

Negative experience: I visited this branch on Saturday 17th of Feb , one lady was with a customer the other on the phone with another customer i waited patiently for someone to assist me for 20 minutes..the lady on the phone finally finished her call and answered quickly a few of my questions but advised she had to go to lunch and I can wait for the other customer service person to help me.. I finally sat with her once she finished with previous customer I asked her to help me find fares based on prices /dates that I found on flights centre on line She showed me one or 2 options and advised that she would call me by 4pm for options and email me. It's been over a week and I haven't had a response.. I understand that they started to get busy but I felt brushed off very quickly no more than 10 minutes We spoke...I would of booked 2 economy overseas tickets on that Day .. but seems like they didn't Want the sale... I'm a sales manager and I'm aware how sales work .never judge a customer or think that they are a time waster! As that's how I was made to feel This Branch needs to employ a few more staff members especially on Saturdays..I possibly May have purchased a more expensive fare but was rushed out the door.. Fantastic experience: I've booked through Shaun at Flight Centre Hawthorn several times now for both domestic and international flights. Whenever I enquire about a flight, Shaun is very responsive with a quote and is always trying to find me the best deal and flight times where he can. Shaun has great travel experience through North America and Australia, and has given me awesome tips and recommendations for trips I've planned in these areas. I don't hesitate to contact Shaun whenever I'm booking a trip and definitely recommend him if you're looking to plan a trip, big or small!

Fantastic experience: I've been using Flight Centre for a long time and switched to Shaun's store about 2 years ago. Since then I've booked through Shaun multiple times, for both international and domestic holidays. Shaun has always been prompt, efficient, and very friendly. Shaun has dealt with multiple flight changes from the airlines which would've been an absolute hassle to do myself. He also always manages to get my flight booked in time to make a sale deadline or a next day flight. Thanks for making holidays the stress free times they deserve to be. Fantastic experience: Laura is genuinely excited about travelling and seeing the world and is undoubtedly in the right profession for her skills and passions. Laura has organised two big trips for me so far , one of them quite complicated. All went very smoothly, and I've really benefited from her knowledge and experience. Planning the journey is always super fun, and I feel that I am in reliable hands while I am away should I need any assistance. I have also recommended her to friends overseas on two different occasions and she has helped with travel arrangements for them to visit Australia and they have been very happy with their holidays. Fantastic experience: Could not have been more helpful! Laura went well above and beyond in stitching together what may have been the most fiendishly complicated itinerary I could possibly have created. She found Plan B's when my overly ambitious Plan A's came unstuck and was never too busy to talk about options (or just destinations). She made the planning fun and both she and the staff (at Hawthorn and Prahran) were as excited about the trip as I am. Now my go-to for all travel needs.

Fantastic experience: I have twice booked travel through Flight Centre Hawthorn, and the service was better than I could have ever expected in my wildest dreams. Both times I was greeted by warm smiles, before Robin and Shaun (who I was later informed are the manager and assistant manager) burst into a welcome song and dance that would’ve been the envy of Mary Poppins herself. Shaun took me on a virtual journey around the world, educating me on the ruins of Machu Picchu, the biological diversity of the Amazon and the rich history of Abu Simbel. He taught me that while some airlines may provide cheaper rates, others welcome you as though you were a family member. Shaun would know about this sort of service and care, as this is what he provided me to make me feel like a member of Flight Centre Hawthorn’s family. I haven’t booked with Shaun in a while, but he still comes to my house nightly and tucks me in after reading me a story. This is the sort of care that he affords all of his customers, and nobody should settle for anything less from their travel agents.

Negative experience: I waited for 45 minutes. Both the attendants were free still no one cared to even talk. Worst customer service.

Negative experience: Only two staff member present at the desk - had to wait a lengthy period of time - staff member that I finally got to deal with was very pushy and I felt like I was being taken advantage of. He looked down to me and I found him rude. Will def not be going back to this Fligt Centre.

Negative experience: Extremely bad customer service. I spoke to the assistant manager Chloe Bridle and instead of giving a genuine advice and at least a price quote from their end if not beat the price, the lady kept pushing me for sending her the screenshots of the STA Website. If being the assistant manager can't understand the value of customer service, what other staff would! Highly would not recommend anyone to go this office of flight centre.
