Fantastic experience: Thanks to Hawthorn Travel for the amazing effort put into my trip to Africa. After many attempts, cancelled trips and refunds I finally made it and had an amazing trip. The Hawthorn travel team were able to provide great advice on how to prepare for travel during covid times and I had a very smooth trip. PS. Love the new offices!

Fantastic experience: We recently completed a trip organised through Hawthorn Travel & Cruise with Heather Testro as our Consultant. We travelled extensively through Scandinavia and Estonia and involved many side arms as in flights, train travel and ferries. In each city Heather Testro organised tour guides, private transport and advice on activities, all of which we enjoyed. The trip was amazing and all went off flawlessly due to the skill and advice given by Heather and Trevor, owner of HTC. We have had many trips organised through Heather, always with Hawthorn Travel & Cruise and we couldn’t ask for more professional and expert advice and guidance.

Fantastic experience: Christine Balch and the team at Hawthorn Travel organised our 5 week trip to France and Italy (via a 2 night stay in Singapore). Fantastic experience: We recently had Hawthorn Travel help us with organizing a trip to France. Fully paid and ready to go, we were thwarted by COVID-19. The team at Hawthorn Travel could not have been more helpful in organizing refunds and a submission to our insurer. We will use their help again when Travel is back on our agenda. Fantastic experience: We have used Heather Testro from Hawthorn Travel for many years. We are relatively experienced travelers but but need guidance and someone to get the best flights and ideas. Fantastic experience: My wife and I have had 4 trips organised by Heather Testro of Hawthorn Travel and they have all been very successful. Heather's recommendations for places to stay and visit have always been excellent as have the airline bookings. All our trips have gone without any faults. Fantastic experience: I have just recently completed a Bunnik Tour from Moscow to Prague. It was an excellent tour with amazingly perfect weather every day, blue skies, sunshine and no rain. I really enjoyed Moscow, the Kremlin and Red Square and St Petersburg with the magnificent Peterhof and Catherine the Great's palace. Then on to the Baltic States and their capitals Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius, all with beautiful old cities and magnificent Cathedrals. Rundale Palace out of Riga was stunning. Warsaw and Krakow have an amazing history of hardship with the occupation and excellent museums showing how difficult times were. Final country was Czech Republic and the beautiful old city of Cesky Krumlov and the very popular city of Prague. The Charles Bridge with its magnificent dark statues is always full of tourists but a fascinating city to visit. Bunnik are great because they provide you with a 45 seater bus even if there are only 14 people on the tour as we were. I travelled on to Budapest by train after the tour ended. Definitely a must see absolutely beautiful city with the Danube River, the Palace, the magnificent Parliament House and the Chain Bridge which I walked on numerous times. Athena was great especially getting my Russian visa, as mine was a last minute booking. I can highly recommend this tour. Ann

Fantastic experience: My family recently returned from the trip of a lifetime in Canada and Alaska. With 3 generations to cater for and two teenagers, there were plenty of challenges to make this holiday fun for everyone. Heather Teatro at Hawthorn Travel was amazing. She had loads of local knowledge and suggestions and was always happy to go back over the plans to improve our itinerary. She literally thought of everything and had anticipated and avoided any possible issues. Everything she planned for us ran like clockwork and our time abroad was as stress free as possible. When Heather was away on annual leave, Casey Murphy ably took over our case, showing just as much interest and care as Heather. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing. Made the entire experience easy and accomodating. I needed some tricky flights to multiple countries. Casey supported several options for flights and was very patient when I had to rearrange a few dates. Also provided additional recommendations and answered all my questions. Very very quick and reliable, would recommend to anyone looking to arrange their travels with ease.
