Fantastic experience: I cant recommend Melissa from Flight Centre, Menai, highly enough. Melissa is very personable and instantly makes you feel comfortable.She recently booked a trip to the UK and Italy for me at short notice and had everything organised in no time. As well as organising flights, transfers, trains and accommodation, Melissa had recently returned form Italy herself and so she was able to give up to date, tips and advice based on her experiences. Information that isn't readily available unless you have been there and which will be extremely useful. Melissa demonstrates a high level of professionalism and knowledge of the travel industry and nothing was a bother. Melissa even assisted me with travel apps and took time to answer any query I had. I definitely recommend Melissa highly and will be coming back to her with all future bookings.

Negative experience: I was going to wait until returning from overseas to post this review as it's been steadily decreasing from five stars but it can't get any lower so why wait? Melissa was fantastic in helping us to organise our trip, however there were so many oversights and failures of communication from the day of departure that have cost us time, money, and stress all through our trip. Very unexpected given the other reviews here but we absolutely won't be returning.

Fantastic experience: Kelly Bird, Nicole Johnston and staff are excellent and prove why stores are still vital for many businesses. No issue or question was too much or an inconvenience and they were always proactive in tackling an issue directly with the cruise company. Best after sale service we have experienced in many years. We will use these guys for all future travel.

Negative experience: Sorry for the bad posting something i dont usually do so no names but i would avoid flight centre like the plague they sold me a one hour flight ticket worth $160 at the pegasus website for $1000 yes thats right and when i asked where the difference of $840 went their pocket or pegasus manager said she didnt know then after i cancelled i was told i would be up for fees of over $350 for a flight worth $160 taking probably up to 3 months to recoup some of my $1000. Wow we will see how they go giving my refund.bottom line book at the airlines website yourself because the so called expertise you are paying for just isnt there .just by saying thats what came up on my screen and letting a client pay a wrong price isnt right

She took care of everything from hotels bookings, arranging flights to transfers and more. The process was seamless and truly enjoyable. She is a credit to the organisation. Fantastic experience: I gave some travel information to Bojana to organise for a trip my wife and I want to do using the FC quoting system. Bojana replied and her approach was to be prompt with everything from replies to getting the information we wanted. Which was a little surprising as the FC locally to me seem to take their time and miss out some important info. I was happily surprised with her thoroughness, knowledge and how pleasant she was to deal with.

Negative experience: Tried to find an email address to avoid posting on Google but there seems to be no facility to do that. Absolutely mind boggling, went to the store to ask two questions before booking a holiday advertised on their website. I had the link up on my phone. The travel agent never asked what the questions I had were. She decided to ring someone on the Agents booking line, I was then told the offer doesn't exist anymore, all while it's still on the website seems very unethical. I was then ignored for the next 10 minutes whilst she was calling someone. When she mentioned dates that were completely wrong I tried to interrupt her to advise it was for next year not this year. I was asked to be quiet as she was trying to listen to the person on the phone. I got up and walked out wondering how on earth I had not just booked a Holiday.

Negative experience: Had 23 kilos of baggage added for our baby sons stuff to only our first of 7 flights which resulted in us departing Sydney with enough allowance only to then be told we have to pay about $1,000 extra for each flight to cover the extra baggage. Have emailed Kelly numerous times with no response the only way to make a complaint is to call through which we can't do from where we are. We were also told to book with Qantas and Emirates so we could upgrade with points. Due to the way it was booked, we weren't able to upgrade at all which we found out direct from the airline themselves as they said we weren't able to upgrade flights booked by a travel agent... Holiday Ruined. Might as well book yourself, at least you know you've done it right. Update. It's now been just under a month since we were told our excess baggage costs would be reimbursed (we're well into the thousands of dollars now and not yet finished), no response from Flight Centre. 5 emails have been sent to Kelly with no response... absolutely disgusting.

As a 70yr old , travelling during this time to see family was daunting. He was communicating with me constantly , keeping me up to date with the changing government and airline policies. Fantastic experience: Never used Flight Centre or any travel agent before as I can usually find better prices online but my agent Dan was able to find a better deal somehow and was very prompt in getting sorted. I have family visiting from the UK next year as my wife and I are renewing our vows and will definitely be calling upon Dan again to sort us out.

I had some ideas in mind but Jade put it all together and her help was well appreciated. I have used flight centre for over 10 years now and am very happy that they have opened a branch in Menai.
