Fantastic experience: I have the opportunity to work closely with Shane on an event in Thailand with 2,000 plus individuals from 13 different countries. Needless to say it was quite an undertaking and yet Shane pulled it off so magnificently. I don't think there was anyone in attendance that didn't have a wonderful time. To think of the logistics that goes into an event like this is boggling to the mind to pull it off as if it's effortlessly done is amazing. Fantastic experience: South Africa with Shane was fantastic. The price was excellent and what we got up to was a thing of memories for life. Thank you Shane. We have also been to Kalgoorlie for an eye opener in our own state, loved it! Our trip to the Philippines to sample the culture and lovable people there was so inexpensive and meaningful. We don't realise how good we have it in Australia. The people we met while in Manila will be in my heart forever. ❤️ Our next adventure is currently being put together by Shane. Off to Sri Lanka we will go. The list is endless. So much to do with so little time....

Fantastic experience: I have had 3 amazing holidays organised by Shane, every holiday has been a really fun, unique, memorable experience. As a solo female traveller I had the best time away, I felt included in the group and loved the itinerary on all my trips. I have taken away many highlights and always leave each trip with the travel bug to do more trips with Shane in the future. From bustling city streets to serene mountain landscapes, every moment was filled with wonder and excitement. Our journey began in Ho Chi Minh City, where we dove headfirst into the vibrant markets, immersing ourselves in the local culture and flavors. The visit to the Chu Chi Tunnels was a poignant reminder of Vietnam's rich history, and the Saigon street food tour was an absolute delight for our taste buds. Flying to Denang opened up a whole new chapter of exploration. The Golden Hand Bridge and the world's longest cable car ride were truly awe-inspiring, and wandering through the old town and sampling delicacies at the food markets was a sensory feast. Not to mention, the pristine Denang beach and the mystical Marble Mountain tour provided the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Heading to Hanoi, we were enchanted by the tranquil beauty of the lake district and captivated by the historic charm of the old town. The journey to Nimh Binh offered even more enchantment as we cycled to the Dragon Pagoda and conquered the mountain for breathtaking views. The day tour on Sampan through mountains and caves was like stepping into a fairytale. Back in Hanoi, exploring the city on vintage motorbikes was an absolute thrill, and the tour of Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and housing compound provided valuable insights into Vietnam's past. The foodie tour in the evening was a culinary journey like no other, tantalizing our taste buds with a myriad of flavors. A free day in Hanoi allowed for some much-needed shopping therapy, rounding off our trip on a high note. Special thanks to our tour guide Shane Earnshaw from Destinations by Shane for his exceptional knowledge and guidance throughout the trip. His insights truly enhanced our experience, making it even more memorable! Overall, this Vietnam trip was a perfect blend of culture, adventure, and relaxation. Fantastic experience: I have travelled with Destinations by Shane and have also been fortunate enough to be able to lean on him to organise personal trips for myself and friends. Shane has an incredible amount of knowledge of countless countries around the world. I love how some of his trips are “taster” trips where you get to experience so many different places, cultures, and activities in a short time, and then can decide where you might like to return to in future - although you don’t often need to go back because you get to experience so much. On return from these trips we find ourselves asking “so Shane, where should we go next?”. My husband and I look forward to working with Shane to organise our future Long Service Leave travel and also any shorter holiday stays. On a side note, I find it really distressing that when mates have a personal falling out, one can slander another’s business with no repercussions, this seems criminal to me. In this financial climate, people shouldn’t mess with others livelihoods, especially when that person is exceptional at what they do and the support they offer clients. Negative experience: We joined the tour "Highlights of Vietnam" in March 2024. It was disappointing in the way some of the tour destinations were handled, we had very limited time at some destinations and we felt we weren't able to fully experience the sites, it was too rush, rush, rush. At the airport transiting between towns, we were left to our own devices, yes we are adults, but your tour guide should be on hand to make sure if there's a last minute gate change, (which there was), everyone was across the change and at the correct gate, not the last one on the plane having just left the airport lounge. When you are taking a tour, you should feel as if your guide is there working for you, checking in with you regularly and making sure everything is going as you expected, able to resolve any issues quietly and with minimal fuss. This felt more like a tag along tour, but it was not advertised as such. I would recommend this tour if you haven't been to Vietnam before, with the adage that, you are left to your own devices, be prepared to organise your own entertainment.

Fantastic experience: Shane organised a trip to South Africa for a group of us for about 12 days. The whole trip was an amazing experience! Shane organised everything from flights, accomodation, activities and car hire. Including a safari trip for 3 days!! While giving information on other activities you could do and lovely restaurants/experiences. Shane also managed to get us a brilliant deal with flights and accommodation. Definitely a trip to remember. I will be going through Destination by Shane again for other holidays. 5 Star rating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything went off flawlessly from canapes and drinks upon arrival at Perth Airport, return flights, transfers to/from our hotel, day trip to see the sculptures, and the unforgettable St Barbara's Day Parade. Fantastic experience: Amazing weekend trip to Kalgoorlie with a group of friends and opportunity to meet new friends. Excellent value for money and good accommodation and breakfast. Day trip to Lake Ballard was included and and we had the opportunity to walk amongst the statues of local town folk on the salt lake covering some 10 sq km and is the largest outdoor gallery on earth. Outback pub lunch on the way back was memorable.
