Negative experience: Staff don’t seem to want to help anyone. Got asked to come back later when there was 3 staff and only 1 person in store, who walked out while we were there. Not offered a brochure or anything, not asked for details to come back. Just showed no eagerness to help. We get that times can be busy, but handling of the enquiry can change the whole experience. We felt like we were the burden for showing up and that they were confused that why was a customer even walking in? Sad because we were ready to book a month long Europe trip. Ended up leaving to go to another branch.

Fantastic experience: Lana is magnificent! Sorted flights, resorted them and changed bookings. We will absolutely be looking her up for all our bookings in the future! Can't recommend highly enough!!

Negative experience: Just went to get some brochures for a cruise we plan on next year with 3 other couples I got some brochures when a lady yelled out sorry sir only one brochure per customer seriously JUST ONE you have got to joking how are we going to share ONE BROCHURE ONLY BETWEEN 3 COUPLES it's not like there is a world paper shortage also they had a truck load of the same brochures, I then went to another flight centre and the girl there was so nice and helpful and gave me about 8 different brochures. The lady at karrinyup was rude no smile she needs to seriously learn how to treat customers. WILL NOT BE GOING THERE WITH THAT BAD UNHELPFUL ATTITUDE.

Fantastic experience: I approached Lana with only my budget and 3 months' leave, and she helped me design the most incredible experience through Europe and Morocco. A few people on social media commented that I had the best European itinerary they'd ever seen. Lana suggested amazing tours, proposed an efficient route, and helped me with all of the flights. There was a part of the journey I was supposed to plan myself (internal trains) but, when I got stuck mid-trip and started panicking about how I'd reach my next destination, Lana was there to provide advice and options. She is lovely, professional, responsive, and an experienced traveller herself, and I cannot speak highly enough of her.

Negative experience: Sat down with a lady on a Sunday for over an hour for our trip to Europe. She said that we would have a quote in a couple of days. Over 3 weeks later nothing. I’m not ringing as I believe if they can’t do up a simple quote how reliant are they going to be in booking items.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I were looking at going to Japan. A couple of weeks ago we went into Flight Centre Karrinyup and were greeted by the lovely Izabel. Straight away she was very happy to help. We ended up coming back about a week later as we changed our minds and wanted to go back to Bali as we hadn't been there in a few years - again she was so helpful and provided us with great and affordable flights and hotel package, and sorted out all of the shuttles for us so we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. Negative experience: Was wanting to purchase a voucher. Waited while someone else was served, and then when it was my turn I was told to come back as they were busy. My partner went back about 15 minutes later and was ignored. When he was finally served he was rudely told to come back in an hour. The woman knew all he wanted was a gift voucher but refused to serve him. We went to the shops specifically to get the voucher so didn’t want to wait an hour. We’ll use the $800 to buy a voucher from another company.

Negative experience: Just went there, and the woman got an attitude and turned red face after she pointed out the number of times I asked for help. Very aggressive in her manners. Don't know her name but, she shouldn't be doing customer service if she doesn't know what she's doing or can't get help from someone with actual knowledge of what they are selling. You suck woman !

She also reassured me about how connecting flights worked, what to do if any of my flights were cancelled or rescheduled and was a great help every step of the way. Negative experience: Went to get some advice and get some prices for a trip to Europe and was told they were busy and told to go to Dymocks to buy a Lonely Planet book on Europe. This was the “pop-up” store. Thanks, but I won’t be using them ever.

Negative experience: Not impressed with the effort, wanted some ideas for a Christmas getaway and got basically nothing. Was told to come back with ideas and they would quote it. I though being a travel agent they would be able to suggest some where. Obviously didn’t want to do the ‘hard yards’ to get the business. Really poor customer service.

Negative experience: I had to cancel flight tickets due to a spellimg error in my name, or run the risk of being caught out in transit. I bought the same tickets, but there was No refund/credit for the original ticket price.... You'd think a highly established company like this would have insurance to an extent for this sort of thing. I think I'll book my own flights in future.

Negative experience: I was there 2 times and as other people mentioned,althought center was empty and they were on their desk talking to each other and ignoring you completely,what a waste of time really never come back

Along with that were days of independent planning and moving throughout Europe. I discovered Keyte F, a new recruit from Brisbane. There were a LOT of date/plan changes, and Holly was an absolute delight to deal with from beginning to end. Negative experience: UPDATE 28/03/2024 Someone finally called back ONLY AFTER I’ve left a 1 star Google review. Sadly though, the lady who called back doesn’t sound like she has any genuine interest in helping me out but rather constantly mention about the Google review non stop and telling me they had trouble getting my number from voice message (even though I spoke so slow and repeated my number TWICE). Absolutely the worst travel agent ever! Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere! Took a long time and still no one answered the phone. Left a voicemail for someone to call back but no one ever called! Very poor service!

Negative experience: I don't know if the staff don't like to work or just don't like people. We visit the office in two occasions to get some help in planning our trip but even though the office was empty and the three staff were talking to each other looking at their phones, we need it a booking, so we made one. On the day we arrived 10min earlier just to found the staff again talking, went we approach her she told us to come back in 15 min. What a waste of time. Not happy Flightcentre

Fantastic experience: We recently booked a family holiday to Phuket with Lana. She had fabulous advice and suggestions to cater for two teenagers. We wanted a great resort with lots of local attractions which Phuket offered. Lana booked everything and offered assistance right up to the day of our flights. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Lana on our next holiday!

Negative experience: I went to the shop as I had a couple of questions regarding a trip I was planning. There were no customers in there, but the lady dismissed me and said all agents were busy, and that I needed an appointment. I said I just needed to ask a couple of simple questions, (while I was still standing there at 7 months pregnant) and she was very cold and dismissive and asked me what did I want to ask. I know busy too, and I know there are ways to handle situations than do not require you to be cold and dismissive, specially in a customer service position. If this is the kind of service they are going to provide, why do they bother with paying rent in such an expensive shopping centre, if they are not going to put any minimal effort in providing some sort of decent customer service? I did go to another FC shop in a different shopping centre and bought my tickets from them two days later. So there it was their lost sale.

Negative experience: Very slow service Karrinyup center I asked for some information and booking a cruise and they replied one week later when it was sold out!!! Your staff must be quick as all flights and cruise availability changes every second not one week later Not recommending to anyone Just go online and book yourself

Fantastic experience: I recently booked a trip with Lana, and she was so fabulous, any request I made she updated and made sure we got the best price on everything. Lana even stayed after hours to make sure it was all booked for us after I made endless changes to the booking! Such a great experience, I am so beyond happy with the help from Lana!
