Positive experience: Bus journey was good and informative, a little overpriced for just the bus journey

Positive experience: Mixed Bag. A good day but some down spots. We were left behind at two spots - the tunnels and the ferry. We were at the ferry spot before the due departure time only to see the bus disappearing - some distance away - hardly a mistake. Same at the tunnels. When we said something all we got was - "Oh yes - he always does that" - as if our time was a joke to them. The bus was well set up - great roof up top and cool below. Commentary a bit monotonous but it had to be I guess. Being left at two spots took the gloss off it a bit.

Fantastic experience: We arrived in Darwin on Friday and bought a 2 day pass. But bus does not operate on Sundays so had to transfer 1 ticket to the Monday. Things changed so we transferred the pass to the Tuesday. Drivers were very helpful at all times. Great way to see Darwin but it only goes one way around so you have to plan to fit in with opening times. Strangely bus only goes to Military Museum in an afternoon and except for taxis, it’s the only way to get there. Some stops are quite a distance from tourist spots - so Botanical Gardens, Myilly, and Fannie Gaol require a 10 minute walk (for us that was in hot weather).

Fantastic experience: Well worth it. Takes you around Darwins sights and attractions. Buses run fairly frequently. Friendly and hospitable staff. Open air is not air conditioned. Downstairs has AC. I would recommend this if visiting Darwin you get history and local insights via the recorded audio as you travel along.

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed this way of seeing Darwin and in particular it was made a much more enjoyable experience because of one of their drivers, Jason. He was very helpful and customer focused.

Fantastic experience: Great way to do a complete circuit of town first and then decide where to get off, explore, then return onwards and upwards. Our first major stop was Waterfront Precinct and enjoyed Stokes Hill Warf foodaries, with Oyster Bar the pick of the crop. Topped off with croc and stinger free swim. Our last stop was Mindle Beach Sunset Markets . A veritable cosmopolitan of over 50 different international food stalls. We settled on Korean Fried Chicken dipped in honey and garlic (KFC go figure)

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic day hoping on and off the bus at various stops. The narrated tour of Darwin was relaxed and very informative. The drivers are very friendly and great with passengers. A true highlight of our week in Darwin!

Negative experience: I have waited the bus for more than one hour, there was no seat when it was coming and not allowing standing. I have to wait next one, not a good experience.

Negative experience: Capacity was oversold as a cruise ship was in port. Could not get on buses most of the day. Not many of the stops appear worth getting off at.

Positive experience: Bus fare overpriced for a simple ride, and then had to pay to enter most destinations . A very expensive day out. Boo Hoo.

Positive experience: Customer service was great. Bus took you to the main areas in Darwin. These hop on and hop offs can only be done once!

Negative experience: DO NOT DO THIS IN DARWIN! Don’t waste your money. Cheaper and faster to use the orange electric scooters available around town. Terrible customer service, when we were trying to get our tickets from our voucher, a staff member kept his AirPods in, continuously just shaking his head when we were trying to get his help in telling us what they need, he ended up walking away without saying a word. When we finally got served we got told all the buses were full at stop 1 and to walk to crocosauras cove (stop 2) to get our tickets and get on the bus there. When we tried to get on the bus there, people got off (meaning seats were available) bus driver then said “this bus is full, walk back to stop 1 and get on there” and then closed the doors and drove off. He did not even attempt to see if he could fit us on. We waited 1hr for the next bus, we’re finally able to get on (but people were left behind as too full). Driver was very rude. We couldn’t get to Darwin military museum in time to get back on our cruise so we ended up paying for an Uber.

Fantastic experience: Great day out and the tickets were reasonably priced. The drivers were very knowledgeable and friendly. We got to see and learn alot around Darwin. Bus was very clean and comfortable. Easy to get on and off even for those with mobility issues

This is the best and cheapest way to see 80% of the local attractions in Darwin. Buses are clean, safe and air conditioned. Tickets are reasonable, considering you can get on and off all day. Fantastic experience: Great way to familiarise yourself with Darwin. On board pre recorded commentary was the best I've ever heard on a tour - clear, concise, fun and didn't waffle on. Gives you the basic facts that are interesting. We loved sitting up top as a unique experience!

All the drivers we had on our two day pass could not have been more helpful and friendly if they tried. They gave great information and advised how to best use our pass. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: We purchased a $100 ticket which included an extra day we required but then got told the bus didn't run on that day hence the lower rating. For a couple of hours we rode on the bus it was good.

Recorded commentary on tbe bus was informative and entertaining. Prices were very reasonable also. To me it was the best way to get around Darwin and see the places of interest.

Positive experience: We took this to see the city and it was one of the few attractions open over New Year's. Check times and schedule to be sure it works for you. Uber might be cheaper but lacks the recorded commentary. Helpful driver.

Fantastic experience: Big buses are so cool, perfect choice for those who likes to take tour of Darwin. One ticket can be validated till for two days and drivers are so kind and helpful. I have had a really great experience even in this bus even in my bad days. I still remember a generois and kind driver asked me and drop me to the place for free when I was broke and helpless.

Positive experience: Service was good but needed more buses to spread out the load of tourists when the passenger ships are in port. Not as good as in other cities only because of lack of number of attractions....

Positive experience: I love hop on hop off bus services as it is a great way to see a town / city. Darwin is a beautiful town with great history & scenery. Staff was friendly & courteous. The company should get up to date with on-line & mobile bookings. Not sure why one cannot use an e-ticket on your mobile. Does not make sense to use your mobile for online booking & then have to print out the tickets. Time to get up to date with the digital era!!

Fantastic experience: Good service. Drivers and ticket staff are friendly. They make sure you know exactly when the next bus is and when the last bus of the day is. Easy to book. Hop on hop off is very helpful. Commentary is informative but a bit cheesy after the second circuit of the bus. Not air conditioned so you do need to sit upstairs and make sure you have plenty of water.

Positive experience: Great system to get to know Darwin better. 40 dollars (today it was 35) for 24 hours with the option to hop on and off as you please, like in the major cities of the world. Cheaper than Brisbane and Sydney, but the comments are only in English, so if you don't know the language well, you can only admire the scenery. There is no Wi-Fi on the vehicles.
