Fantastic experience: Erica was fantastic!!! Unfortunately I had a problem with my Vietnamese visa and could not check in to our flight at Sydney international airport. Erica came to the rescue. Fantastic experience: Ronan at Flight Centre International Airport was so helpful and reassuring to me and my Dad when we had issues with our visas. Ronan spent time with me on the phone and got our visas sorted within 30 mins of arriving at the airport - he assisted us even though I was travelling with another tour group. Fantastic experience: Glowing review alert - A person must love their job to make their customer’s life better, and one such example is Nicole Henwood at Sydney International airport’s Flight Centre. We were having serious issues with our travel document when we met Nicole at the airposrt’s flight centre. She not only understood our problem but got involved personally with compassion. She made it her responsibility to get our travel sorted and got us on the plane as scheduled. We went down to the wire, but if it was not for her we wouldn’t be enjoying our holiday right now. If the bosses at @flightcentre are seeing this review, you need to give promotion to Nicole. You don’t get gems like her too often PS - Happy birthday Nicole!! Bula and Vinaka!!

Fantastic experience: Erika helped my dad and I with new tickets to Zimbabwe in a time of crisis, we had so many issues with our initial tickets bought elsewhere and she made sure to ease our worries, offer expert support. All while getting us completely sorted, we’re so grateful and glad to be on the way, she found us great deals with less stops and even emailed us more info to help our transits on the way back. Fantastic experience: I finally understand the benefits of using a travel agent and will never go back (Nathaniel is a life saver and is the best agent I’ve ever encountered!). After getting frustrated with trying to book my own flights using the Google Flights option (hidden fees, giant layovers, changes in costs constantly), I figured I’d just *check* to see if going through a travel agent would be easier… Not only was it easier (they gave me several realistic options of varying prices, travel time, flight carriers…), but when a family emergency occurred and I had to change/cancel my flights around they went above and beyond to help me! This took so much stress off me and I was able to spend my limited time, away from a laptop! Thank you Nathaniel, I’m so grateful for your time and dedication!

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. I went in there to book a flight for me and my mother to USA and from USA to Canada and a flight from canada to Bangkok for myself alone and i go back to canada and from there i go back to sydney with my mother. So i asked the guy i wanted to stay two weeks in usa and go to canada from there stay another two weeks and go to Bangkok stay two more weeks while my mother stays in canada and i come back from bangkok and we both go back to Australia from there. i told him doesn't matter which date find me best dates he thinks the flight could be cheapest. The guy looks at me and says "we don't offer competitive prices and give me a specific date i can't just go scroll through the year" He was very condescending and unprofessional and he looked like he didn't want to even bother with me at all. So i told him mid of the year and he again asked "give me specific dates" i said " i don't know man just between this time" anyway until he pressured me to give him the dates specifically and then he turned on me and said "sorry no flights on this date that fit what you want" i said check other dates? he said "i am not going to scroll through dates here for you here's my card send me an email of your itinerary and what you want and do your research and i book it for you" . i got up and left and i felt like this man didn't even want to book anything for me. I work at the airport and i wasted my time going there and book. i also worked as a travel consultant in 2019 and we never treated our customers like this we checked every date for them within the time frame they wanted. if someone asked from middle of the year i always checked from may to august and its one month and a half trip how hard was that for him? isn't it his job to look for flights for me? he wanted me to do the research for myself and do his job for him and he just clicks few buttons and books the flight for me where i could do that all at home and cheaper price. Horrible place and unprofessional man works in there and so condescending person and he looked like he didn't want to be there or do any work. i walked out of there and i am never booking from flight centre ever and won't recommend people to do it anymore i used to always recommend people to flight centre when they asked me because i worked as a travel consultant myself and i have sent few people to flight centre now i just want to find an alternative for when people ask me.

Fantastic experience: Nicole Henwood at Sydney International Terminal saved me soooo much stress and even $$$$. I booked separate flights to get to Antarctica to save a few bucks. Big mistake. I was told I didn't need a visa as I was not staying for more than 90 days. What I didn't know was that only applies if the tickets are connected. I turned up at Qantas. Denied access due to no visa. I was told to see customer service. Yep. We can fix that right now. $9,000 please? ON TOP of the price already paid. Stress levels increased big time. Off to see Nicole. Literally within 10 minutes. she had it all sorted. I had to burn 4 tickets and rebook the whole trip. BUT!! She got all 4 flights rebooked for less than the Qantas tickets alone. I lost the money on the other tickets but got a refund on Qantas. End result. It cost me $200 LESS that I had paid. Nicole. You saved my travelling life. Thank you. I know who I will be booking through next time.

Fantastic experience: Our passports were 1 day short of 6mths so the airline wouldn’t allow us to board our flight to Fiji. Ronan at Flight Centre Sydney Airport was able to contact the Fiji Govt and obtain clearance in time for us to board our flight. We realise the stars aligned in terms of timing (1 minute to spare) but remain forever grateful to Ronan for making it happen. Thankyou

We received calm, accurate advice from this angel at a time when we were having incredible difficulties with a visa for our trip to Vietnam. Negative experience: I HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND THIS STORE ! They look professionnel but are really uncompetent. I had miss my plane for vietnam and asked them what can i do ? They were telling me i dont have a visa so i had to pay a $500 a letter to get there or do the e-visa and wait 5 days or call the vietnam ambassade to have a writting as soon as possible.... i was really confuse and stress, i am not good with pressure so i decided to not rush and found a day later that i dont need any visa because i was staying less 2 weeks, when i came back they told me yes but you have to proof you get out from the country before and have to pay another ticket.... So i listen to them and pay for another ticket. WRONG THING TO DO !!! I took a ticket for Cambodia and they didnt event tell me it was a HIGH RISK to travel there and recommended for foreigner to not attend there, FIND OUT THE DAY I WAS GOING THERE !!! Also at the board they ask me afor a visa and i just say i stay only 10 days he didnt check any other documents and didnt ask me anything ... so DONT TRUST THEM TOO MUCH , THIS PEOPLES ARE CLEARLY A SCAM and the worst is, they make me feel so uncomfortable and like i was bothering them...

Negative experience: Flight Centre charged me and my children over $1500 for a tourist visa approval letter to enter Vietnam. I was told upon arrival I would be greeted by someone from customs who would process our tourist visas on the spot. There was no one there to greet us upon arrival. When I showed customs the approval letter that Flight Centre provided me with, they told me that I had been scammed. I then had to pay for tourist visas in Vietnam. When I contacted Flight Centre they refused to refund me, even though they have made a profit from my transaction and did not provide me with Visas that I paid for. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience at the Flight Centre (Sydney International Airport). Ronan completed the Air Suvidha (This is an online form mandatory for all international arrivals in India) form for us in 5 minutes, otherwise we would have to miss the flight to India this morning. Ronan completed the lengthy form in a just a few minutes and gave us the printed proof of acceptance by the Indian Government. Many thanks to Ronan for resolving this last minute issue for us.

Fantastic experience: Have had the most fantastic experience with Ronan from flight centre at Sydney airport this morning, who has saved a very long awaited family holiday. Attempting to check in for my flight to Fiji from Sydney, Virgin told me I unfortunately cannot travel as my passport expires in 5 months (I unwittingly had not realised this was a restriction), and that it is taking 4 months for passports to get renewed. My family were due to meet me in Fiji in 2 days, for a very special holiday. Manager told me I could try ringing Fiji embassy for approval but it is unlikely, and my phone unfortunately couldn’t make that international call. Ran to Flight centre in desperation for any help or phone, and Ronan saved the day! Fantastic experience: We had a trip to Fiji impacted by Covid in 2020 and have been waiting for the right time and for availability this year. Due to the Covid situation, Flight Centre have lost good staff and closed some branches, so our original agent is long-gone from the company. However, we have been in good hands for many months now with Nicole Henwood. Nicole has kept us informed re expiry dates etc and was very helpful in organising our trip (at last!) for August 2022. On Monday never received any calls, now the price is increased by $25. We headed to the Flight Centre counter at the airport with our booking reference. We thought it was a mistake on FC's part. It was not. Due to some factors revolving around cyclone Cook, we were bumped off the flight by the airlines. The lady at the counter helped us big time. Air line had offered us a next day flight and accommodation straight away, but she made sure that we can get the best of the situation. Instead of losing one day of our holiday, we took the accommodation, got an early morning flight to Queenstown (our earlier booking were only to Christchurch and then we would have taken a bus tour to Queenstown). It was our anniversary trip. It did not go as planned. But Flight Centre made it possible for us to get the best we could in this circumstance.
