We had a wonderful lunch at Pastuso!! The next day we went back to the Block for a nice tea with scones at the historic tea house. We enjoyed it!!! Fantastic experience: If you asked your spunky aunt to give you a private tour of her town, that is the experience you will get with Isabel! She has a great source of knowledge about Melbourne, and brought us around a number of hidden ally ways and streets showing us the street art and the eclectic array of restaurants that are nestled along the center of the city. Isabel warmed right up to the group and by the end I felt like family. She was very fun to spend the afternoon with. I would highly recommend doing this day one in Melbourne so you can revisit some of the stores and restaurants you see along the way. Must do tour to help you get familiar in a new city.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic tour - we did the Lanes and Arcades tour, and got so so many places, that would have been impoosible to experinece without local knowledge. This is a must do, as your first activity in Melbourne, even when arriving on a morning flight. Your Melbourne stay will be so much better when you know the cities secrets.

Fantastic experience: Pushing it a bit on the pricing (a not very different tour in Sydney was half the price of this), but it was a well thought out tour (Lanes and Arcades Walk) with an excellent guide. I'd say 4.5 stars, but the quality of the guide has me rounding up instead of down.

Fantastic experience: We did the laneways and arcades tour. What a fantastic morning! So many hidden walkways that in previous visits to Melbourne we have just walked past! Our tour guide was such a wealth of knowledge and passionate about her hometown. Highly recommend!

The highlight, of course, was the culinary exploration of Melbourne's renowned laneway restaurants. The selection of restaurants was exceptional and Fi's insights into the chefs and business owners added depth to the experience. The tour was paced perfectly, allowing ample time to savour each dish and immerse ourselves the restaurant ambience. The small group size ensured an intimate and personalised experience. There was ample food and perfectly matched wines. This tour is a must for food lovers!

We learned much about the city's past and present and she highlighted many 'hidden in plain sight' features that we would have missed on our own. Fantastic experience: Wonderful way to experience Melbourne. Ducking in and out of lanes and arcades, we were given a great sense of the culture here! We got a bit of history, art, and were shown the local favorite restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops.

Fantastic experience: My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour in Melbourne on the 15th of October. We were met by Fiona, who was delightful. Warm and entertaining from the start. After introducing herself, Fiona respectfully acknowledged the Aboriginal Communities, past, present and future in the land. Fiona combined her wonderful sense of humour with plenty of relevant information about many landmarks or hidden places in Melbourne's Lanes, in particular Hosier Lane and AC/DC Lane. She provided information about the history regarding Flinders Street Station, its usage now and it's future uses. She explained how the Lanes were formed or developed originally and why most vendors close their businesses in the early afternoon. She spoke to us about various buildings along the Yara River and the River, itself. We learned about how one current shopping malls was previously a bank. Fiona shared an abundance of wealth and did so in a manner that was entertaining, but also informative and respectful. Fiona was very approachable, encouraged questions and answered all confidently. She illustrated knowledge, inclusively, cultural awareness and pride in her profession. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in the history and culture of Melbourne.

Fantastic experience: MUST DO MELBOURNE EXPERIENCE If you are looking for a very unique and memorable Melbourne experience then the Melbourne Food and Wine Walking Tour is the one for you. A very special evening where you walk the streets and laneways of Melbourne learning about the history and interesting facts behind the buildings, laneways whilst experiencing Melbourne’s games culinary offerings.

Positive experience: Great tour until they tried to claim ACDC as a Melbourne band!! they did make 1 film clip there but that was it! The council dedicated this laneway to them - nice but doesn't change history. ACDC have always lived in Sydney when in Australia, that's where they started and sadly for Malcolm finished - never Melbourne residents!! Seeing Richmond council being shot down for wanting a Michael Hutchenence memorial, he never lived there either so no wonder fam said no

Positive experience: Not the way to see the best of Melbourne in my opinion. Guide was knowledgeable but showed us the hidden alleys around federation square. The cafe's etc were supposed to be chic but were quite dingy and unwelcomeing. Same with the graffiti. Go with the free walking tour and see the real sites and a lovely riverside

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant. What a way to fall in love with our city. We did the arcades and laneways with Harriet. She was fabulous. So I much knowledge. We will be back for another tour. Soon.

Negative experience: This walking tour was not what I expected having heard what a wonderful city Melbourne is. We were taken to some of what I can only describe as some of the grottiest places in a small section of the city. We took a similar walking tour in Kuala Lumpur and it was far superior to this one. We went off later to look around and found some magnificent buildings and beautiful riverside walks. We have enough graffiti walls and buildings in the UK I don't want or need to see more.

Fantastic experience: There were nine in our group, friends visiting Melbourne, all with different interests. Our charming guide Luisa informed and entertained us as she guided us through Melbourne CBD’s rich history and hidden treasures — the laneways and archades. It was quite a remarkable tour! We all learned so much. The stop for a cuppa or hot chocolate was in a cosy location, and we couldn’t thank Luisa enough for the wonderful experience. All of us recommend this tour

Fantastic experience: Our travel agent booked us on a "Lanes and Arcades" tour as the first thing we did when we arrived in Melbourne. We're so glad that 1. it was planned this way and 2. that we went on this tour. Darcy was extremely friendly and knowledgable and we loved that we were exploring parts of the city that we may have not seen otherwise. We highly recommend!
