Negative experience: Very unprofessional and James doesn’t even know how to talk to customers. They gave me time period of 10 working days for South Korea visa and it took 17 working days to get approved and even i went to South Korea embassy by myself to collect my passport. Not recommended Odyssey Travel at all and please don’t waste your time with them they are very rude and unprofessional. Thanks

Fantastic experience: They were very polite and easily answered my questions and concerns on the phone. I had been struggling to get a booking with another agency, so I tried here since they are walk-in. When we went in person, they were efficient with great service with Stella! The office space is on the smaller side but if you’ve prepared all your documents already, you’ll be in and out in a short time. I submitted my application and required documents with on Monday morning right after they opened and I received my text to pick-up my passport that same week on Wednesday afternoon. Strongly recommend for people to try. The location is easy to get to just take the elevator up to floor 8 and the door is on the right hand side after exiting from the elevator. To note: I am an international student here in Melbourne.

Fantastic experience: staff were efficient, friendly and helpful when I applied for Japanese visa but the place was difficult to find

Negative experience: I suggest Chinese students not to go, I heard that I am a Chinese passport holder without PR, and they are very arrogant, refusing to process visa applications.

Negative experience: My passport was handled carelessly and they back to me with a ribbed ID page on my passport. I have a proof of scanned passport before sending to them, and it didn’t show any ribbed pages. They can’t decide whether it was their or the Japan councilor’s fault because they did not check prior to handing over my passport to the Japan councilor that the passport was intact, and after receiving the passport from Japan councilor. Now, I had to still pay overpriced $130 fee for the Japan visa with my passport’s ID page partially-ribbed, without any further clarifications from them (see screenshot), unsure if I can even enter my home country (not Japan) showing the ribbed passport I would rate 1 star for the lack of professionalism and carelessness. If they had checked my original document’s condition from beginning (before & after giving to Japan council), this wouldn’t happen. I believe passports should have been handled with care by the travel agency as it is very valuable and hard to be replaced.

Negative experience: They charge $130 for Japanese visa whereas embassy only charges $30! Really overpriced for a 5-10 mins work! Also their website says their charge is $100 whereas they actually charge $130. Not really fair. I am planning to forward the details to fair work commission!

Fantastic experience: Cheapest price for Japan visa in Melbourne CBD - $130. You need to prepare all the docs and just go there to submit. Visa is granted within 1 week. Single entry expires in 3 months from the granted date and allows you to stay in Japan for 15 days maximum. The place is a bit hard to find because outside is a chinese food store (brother Lee) though there is an A4 paper stating 256 swanton street and shows the name of the agent.

Positive experience: We went for a day tour to Philip Island n GOD trip with Odyssey travel... definitely I have to tell the trip was very good....on time pick up n drop.... special mention to driver who was very polite n patience to explain everything in English for us as we DNT speak mandarin... we went for second time with Odyssey travel wen our relatives came n we had a good time...no issues...price wise best.. oly one thing i have to mention while traveling all the announcement n details will b in Mandarin which will be difficult for ppl who DNT understand...but we got instructions before itself regarding this n later driver is good enough to explain in English for us...

Negative experience: Do not report. The service is extremely poor. The tour guide's attitude is very bad. He keeps saying that China is not good in this and that... in Chinese.

Fantastic experience: 长城旅行社服务极差。近日国内一个朋友来墨尔本旅游。我们订了大洋路一日游，确认单上注明发车地点是市中心总站就是订票的地方。但上车并不在此而是8.15-8.30集合后带去上车。（这点既没注明，买票时也没告知）当时我们仅仅晚了2，3分钟，并提前通了电话告知5分钟内一定赶到。（而且如果能在电话里告诉我们上车地点，我们正好路过就不会迟到。）但是我们赶到后被告之车已出发。 我们非常生气，事后找经理投诉。得知长城旅行社没有合法固定停车位，司机要打游机怕吃罚款单所以不能等。 第二天我们改乘宏城旅行社的车。他们有固定的车位，所以订票单上写的清清楚楚：哪里买票哪里上车。（那天等晚到顾客20分钟） 难怪长城旅行社差评如潮。

Fantastic experience: 我觉得挺好的呃，价格比旁边的旅行社要便宜呢，而且daily tour也很不错啊。一车那么多乘客导游忙不过来不是很正常么，而且作为一个旅客，我都觉得有些乘客的要求很无理取闹了，为了个别奇葩旅客总不能牺牲其他所有人吧？总之个人感觉导游已经很负责了。 另外加一句，售票门店的小姐姐们也很nice，很耐心给我推荐行程呢。

Positive experience: 我也试过挺多旅行社的了，说实话这家还不错。服务态度也挺好的，在墨尔本的三家中也是最便宜的了。坐的舒适程度也过得去，值这个价。导游也挺nice的路上介绍也是滔滔不绝。

Negative experience: Everyone should avoid this travel agency! I wouldn't even give it a one-star rating. The experience was extremely poor! The service from this travel agency is extremely bad, I have traveled many times and have never encountered such a terrible and trashy agency. When I signed up, it took several days, making them money, yet their service attitude was like I owed them money. They were just confirming the itinerary, but their attitude was simply unbearable, so impatient. When the travel day came, those tour guides were also terrible, each one worse than the last. I have never seen such lousy and garbage tour guides, they don't help guests solve problems at all, and they even curse at people?! People remain calm, and you insult them?! Their quality is just unbelievable!
