Negative experience: I would not go on another tour with this company. We missed some good sites because of poor planning by the tour guide. He was more interested in wasting our time at restaurants and gift shops than getting to the site before it closed. We missed seeing two of the main archeological sites which were highlights of the trip. And the day we were to fly over a site we waited for hours to get onto a plane which had a deal which benefited Peregrin and not us. Lots of drinking so if you prefer to drink starting at noon and miss seeing the towns and country this is the tour for you! I finally enjoyed the trip when I went off on my own . Saw so much more!

Negative experience: Did a Moroccan tour. Morocco is lovely however guide seemed to always be in a rush or to take us places where he gets a kickback of things we buy. English spoken was good and had a good knowledge of the places we went, when we would ask him a question on our journey, he said, I don't know, I'm not Google! I don't mind off the beaten track visits but got sick of going to people's homes to drink tea. I'd prefer to see the country not go to people's homes. When it came to meals in some Riads. Guide would often get special meals and we would just have what is on offer. What Peregrine needs to mention in a Moroccan tour is that there is a lack of toilets on the travels. Mainly a hole in the ground which isn't suitable for everyone especially those with medical conditions. First and last trip with Peregrine.

Negative experience: 1st tour and last with this company! . Unfortunately the hotel on the Peregrin tour Essence of India are the worst we ever stayed. Some of them no AC, no kettle to make a cup of tea in the rooms, smelly rooms, damp rooms, uncomfortable beds, old rooms, no TV. We are Absolutely horrified by how we were conned to take part on a Peregrine tour, telling us that the accommodation would be of a much higher standard then their Intrepid Tour sister company, Total Rubbish. We are actually doing the same tour and staying in the same hotel of their Intrepid Tours (sister company who caters for lowest starred tours) All of the hotels that we were supposed to stay on the programme have been changed, we only find out once on tour, all the changed hotels have not been changed to a similar category but a lower category. We stayed in 2 star hotel or even 1 star with no facilities what so ever. Horrible included breakfast and not up to the standards we were told it would be. NEVER AGAIN FOR US . We can not wait to finish the tour and go back home. Thanks Peregrine for taking advantage of your paying customers. What a con you are !!!!!!
