Fantastic experience: Amazing company to book through if you're going to South America - Heather was a fantastic agent & super helpful throughout the whole process. We live interstate and were booking a relatively last minute month-long trip. We had a poor experience trying to book with another company and ended up reaching out to Contours Travel with a list of our must-see places, a tight budget & timeframe to see if they could help. Heather was able to get back to us the following day to go over the process, what she thought was reasonable for our budget & what it could look like if we slightly increased our budget. I could tell from the get-go that she was a South America expert. All in all, within a few days, she had everything sorted - flights, accommodation, tours, transfers, etc. We don't regret increasing our budget slightly (particularly as it was conservative to begin with) because the trip far exceeded expectations. Each experience was really unique & felt tailor made to what we wanted to do. Prior to our departure, Heather had provided a detailed itinerary, information about the 5 countries we were visiting, all our hotel/tour operators details, and more, so we felt confident travelling to a completely new part of the world. If you're looking for a bespoke travel agency for your south america holiday, then I can't recommend Contours Travel highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Our 27-day holiday in South America was incredible from start to finish! Fantastic experience: Superb, spectacular and breathtaking experiences in the Patanals and Patagonia through Contours Travel.!! Heather from Contours ensured this superb and wonderfully coordinated holiday. Over 100 species of birds that we recorded and 7 Jaguars sited on the banks of the Cuiabá river in the Patanal to our Cape Horn landing and hike up to the Lighthouse along with all the hassle free transfers made our holiday exquisite!! Fantastic experience: A huge thank you to Contours & Heather! Well we are finally back at home and over our jet lag. I wanted to write to say thank you so very much for all your help during our recent trip. It was probably one of the most stressful things that has happened to me over all my years of travel obviously excacerbated by where we were when it happened! Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend the team at Contours too highly. We booked a once-in-a-lifetime dream trip to Patagonia and Antarctica. Their knowledge and expertise in South America was clear from the get-go, from planning the itinerary, to organising transport and sorting out accommodation. Fantastic experience: I wanted to give Contour Travels, and Heather in particular, a big THANK YOU for giving my husband, myself and my teenage grand daughter such a wonderful holiday in both Argentina and Brazil. We were met at every location, even when our connection was delayed by four hours, and transferred by safe, reliable drivers to our destinatons. Fantastic experience: Contours’ expertise in South American travel was evident every single day of our recent family holiday to Peru, Columbia, Brazil and Argentina (if you count our day over there at the remarkable Iguazu Falls). Heather curated us the trip of a lifetime, delivering experiences loved by the 60-year-olds and 20-year-olds equally. We adventured in the Amazon, hiked at altitude to Machu Picchu and in the Corcora Valley, drank cocktails on a Caribbean beach, explored the street art of Cartagena and cheered on Flamengo at the fabled Maracana Stadium in Rio. Our travel arrangements were flawless. Everything was so easy and well suited to the five of us. What really shone through was the deep network of partnerships Contours has on the ground in Sth America - our guides were expert and all lovely people - and we experienced how well Contours know the quality accomodation, places to eat and what to see. We have no hesitation recommending Contours Travel.

Fantastic experience: We returned from our 45 day Sth American adventure about 2 weeks ago. Heather planned our full itinerary around our priorities for places and activities to experience. Everything, from the logistics, accommodation, guides and schedule was so well organised. Punctuality, safety, and friendliness were foremost considerations and everything occurred efficiently and seamlessly. It is so wonderful to be met and greeted by a guide, when you arrive at an unfamiliar destination. Our trip highlights included: - W trek and Patagonia Eco Camp -Torres del Paine - El Chalten trekking - Tambopata and Amazon experience - Inca trail, Machu & Huanya Picchu, Cusco - Iguazu Falls - Landfall at Cape Horn on the Australis cruise - Santiago, Rio and BA were good for sightseeing and gave us an appreciation of Latin American cities. I especially thank Heather for her invaluable assist, when I was sick in the Sacred Valley. She helped organise, through the Contours network of local agents, medical intervention for me. It was very timely and effective and allowed us to complete the Inca Trail. We would thoroughly recommend Contours Travel for any Sth American holidays.

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from a wonderful 4-week trip to Ecuador which was organised through the incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and efficient Heather. This is the first time we have used a travel agency - we usually arrange everything ourselves - and it was bliss to have someone do all the planning and organising for us for a change - and do it so well. Ecuador is much, much more than the Galápagos Islands. Yes, we visited this area, but the 9 nights we spent in jungle lodges both in the Amazon basin and the Andean cloud forests were, in my opinion, even more amazing. Similarly, the spectacular scenery along the Avenue of Volcanoes, the Waterfall Way and the truly magnificent El Cajas National Park outshone the Galápagos Islands. So, if you want to see all that Ecuador has to offer ask Heather to work up a comprehensive itinerary. You won’t be disappointed..

Fantastic experience: Just returned from 3 weeks independent travel in South America visiting sites in Argentina, Bolivia & Chile with most time spent in the south of Peru - Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cuzco & Lake Titicaca. Itinerary was developed by Contours in conjunction with our local travel agency - Travelaffare. Contours are well experienced experts on South American travel & we benefited from following their suggestions & advice. Contours had arranged transfers between airports & hotels at all locations & private tours and/or guides for every city/site. Their knowledge & links with South American travel operators meant our holiday went very smoothly & the quality of the tours/guides greatly enhanced our overall experience of the countries visited. Contours' experience & contacts were critical in our case as there was on-going political unrest/lockdowns in parts of our itinerary in Peru in the lead up to our departure - fortunately position was resolved after we had left Australia & we were able to enjoy our full itinerary in lieu of Plan 'B' Contours had in place. 5 stars doesn't seem enough - Contours have the knowledge,expertise & developed contacts in South America & put you at the centre of trip planning. In a continent where delays, protests etc can regularly ebb & flow, (fortunately, largely without tourist impact) having Contours facilities & expertise is invaluable. Highly recommend that you contact them as part of any South American travel plans

Fantastic experience: Thank you Heather for putting together our amazing adventure through country Argentina. We found ourselves travelling exactly how we loved - off the tourist path, exploring, eating fabulous food , meeting wonderful locals who were so helpful. Fantastic experience: I have recently returned from a 52 day trip visiting Peru, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and a cruise in Patagonia as well as Antartica. All was organised by the wonderful team at Contours Travel. My special thanks to Heather for going above and beyond to make our trip so memorable. In every country visited I had private tours with English speaking tour guides who were very passionate and informative. Our guides met us at every airport to transfer me to my hotel and went over our itinerary whilst in their country. They were punctual for all day tours and they were all really lovely people. Fantastic experience: We organised a two month trip to Chile through Contours Travel, and we had a fantastic time! Heather helped us book flights and a number of tours, she was very helpful. As she'd visited the areas we planned to go to it was wonderful getting her input. Before we booked we did do a price comparison with one of the big travel agents and Contour Travels was significantly cheaper while providing better service! We'll definitely use them again on our next trip to South America.
