Fantastic experience: Went on the hot springs tour with my husband and loved it!!!! It was the perfect relaxing end to our vacation! We went on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all which meant we even got the hilltop view hot spring to ourselves for quite some time! We also tried the clay body experience for $20 pp which was super fun and left our skin feeling amazing. One pro tip is to take mosquito repellent since I got a few bites.

His sense of humor kept the group entertained, making the journey even more enjoyable. On top of that, he was punctual and well-organized, ensuring everything ran smoothly and on time. Fantastic experience: I joined rhe Sovereign Hill tour. Tour guide Darren was so nice to show us around and he actually remembers our name and will check on us if having a good time. the Guide fom Sovereign Hill Debbie was also so professional that she told us so many fun facts about the past gold mining experience. The whole tour was so interesting and educational with a unique experience in learning about gold mining in the past.

Fantastic experience: Phillip Island and French Island Wildlife Expedition You just can't beat experience. We signed up for this trip and couldn't have been happier. The tour was well organised, all pickups and transfers were clearly explained and went off without an issue. Matt was the ultimate tour guide and driver. He made everything fun and kept us all in good spirits. The king of Dad jokes also had a resume which allowed him to give us great insight into the area it's history, flora and fauna. 15 years as a tour guide, and history of research in this field meant he could tell you anything you wanted to know. Don't be mistaken people there is brains behind the beauty. The trip to French Island was fantastic, our guide was Scott who served with Vic Parks for 20 or 30 years and much of this was involved with ecological projects on the island. Eradication of invasive species, koala population management and many more. We also visited a farmhouse with a local who shared her experiences living in a community which is totally off the grid. You'll also see all the koalas you could hope for. Finally on to the Penguin viewing which was like a dream. The facilities are first class, the staff are friendly and very interactive, and the penguins are the star of the night. You can't ask for a better time. Big thank you to Explore Australia Tours - no hesitation with giving this tour 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: We booked the great ocean rd tour for 10/09/2024 via klook and it was amazing. We got Margaret as our tour guide and she was fantastic. She arrived early at the pick up point and was full of energy eventhough it was an early call time at 6.30am. She navigates the road very well and we arrived at the destinations with fewer people. For the forest tour, she was knowledgeable and walked with us throughout. She gave ample of time for us to explore the areas and did not rush us all. Overall, it was an amazing journey with her.

Fantastic experience: Lachie (or Lockey/Loki, not sure lol!) was our incredible tour guide on the Great Ocean Road. We were so lucky to have him lead the tour, which was done in reverse — a fantastic idea in my opinion! He made sure we had plenty of time at every stop, and thanks to him, we even spotted wild koalas and kangaroos along the way. This has been the best tour I've joined in Australia so far!

She is extremely knowledgeable of the history behind the GOR and the rainforest ecosystem which made the trip so enriching! The stops curated for our GOR trip was also well planned with minimal crowd and plenty of space to take photos! Lovely❤️

Negative experience: This is just my personal opinion and it’s for people booking through Klook and traveling with families. I’ve been with other tour companies such as Go West and Autopia Tours and they have been so wonderful and I would highly recommended them. This company however is just terrible from the start. Firstly, we booked this separately as I’m paying for my own tours and my family is paying for theirs on their own. However even so, we booked for the exact same tour, same date, same destination. When the bus came, there was a very unpleasant female guide (whom I got to know is undergoing training). She was very overwhelmed by the amount of people at the meetup point, answered our queries rudely, kept saying her bus was already full and she has to call with her company because she herself does not know what’s going on. C’mon lady, we know your bus is full, we have eyes. Come to find out there were other buses heading to the same destinations, which i’m surprised she doesn’t know about? Is she even from this tour company? My family hopped onto her bus because their names were in the list and I thought i could just hopped on the next and meet them at each destination. However, when the next tour guide/bus driver arrived (whom is a very nice guy, way better than the rude lady), he informed me that despite the buses heading to the same destinations, it would be at different timings. Meaning Bus A will be headed to Destination A first whereas Bus B would be heading to Destination B first and vice versa. Thus we won’t be at the same place at the same time at all Why is it that we never had this issue with the other two companies which I mentioned earlier? They never had issues putting everyone who booked the same tour in the same bus. I had even seen them trying to accommodate to friends who were unexpectedly separated. Anyway, I did not want to escalate matters, thus I decided not to proceed with the tour because I wouldn't even have booked this in the first place if it wasn’t for wanting to join my family. TLDR: Not recommended for families as they might put you on different buses and going to different destinations at different timings. Their female guide whom is undergoing training, is unable to handle stress. Please avoid her. If you insist on booking this tour, put everyone under the same booking. Edit: Came to find out that the rude lady is not the one undergoing training. It was the driver. Which surprised me even more that she didn’t know what’s happening.

Positive experience: Went on the great ocean road trip. Very long day and probably over hyped. The apostles were good as was the forest walk but the rest average at best. Our guide Lachie was great however, we were lucky.

Fantastic experience: Me and friends booked the Puffing Billy & Penguin Parade day tour . We enjoyed our day at a leisurely pace with our friendly, knowledgeable and fantastic RYAN!!! Hope to see the business flourish and more purple buses on the roads of Melbourne.

Fantastic experience: Our first trip to Melbourne and decided to go for the Great Ocean Road tour and our guide, Margeret, has been nothing but amazing! She gave us a warmed welcome in the early hours and has been interactive throughout. She provided insights and history on some of the locations. She even called us Koalas, because we like to rest up on her vehicle.

Also, his extensive knowledge of Melbourne's history and stories added depth to the experience, making it both informative and engaging. They told me the details of the tour and the meeting time in an easy-to-understand manner. "It was very cold, so when I returned to the bus earlier than the meeting time, Matt welcomed me brightly." Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience going on the Hot water springs tour with Gina! She went out of her way to make this day a really great one, giving us some very interesting facts about Melbourne and Australia as well as about the places we were headed to (she’s a great storyteller!), always being very happy to take photos and enriching the experience with some wildlife viewing on our way back! Gina also very kindly lent me her powerbank when I needed to charge my phone! Negative experience: Do not recommend! Terrible staff. Whilst on a tour I witnesses disgusting behaviour from Gina (an arrogant and rude tour guide employed by this company) who invaded personal space of patrons on the station platform and verbally harassed a number of travellers in the line to board the Puffing Billy. Gina (who isn’t staff of the station) proceeded to berate passengers aggressively and was within a few inches of one ladies face with saliva spiting onto them as she yelled at them insisting they not be able to proceed accusing them of pushing in despite them being lined up patiently. I was mortified to see this and my family found the experience very alarming after witnessing her treatment of others. Pleased we opted for a different provider.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I took the Wine|food tour to Mornington Peninsula on Friday 10 May with Matt and Leah (who was shadowing Matt for the day). They were both very welcoming. Fantastic experience: Went on a Puffing Billy and Penguins Parade Tour in the morning 1000-2045h. Was great for the family to see and experience. Seeing the penguins come up on the beach. And also the Puffing Billy train ride to Lakeside. Overall great trip and experience. The guide, Peter was friendly, helpful and was always there to help and assist us and to explain as we went along. He was also there to help us take a family picture at the stops. Fantastic experience: Incredible Mornington Peninsula Wine & Food Tour with Margaret! Our guide Margaret was simply outstanding - her passion for the region, deep knowledge, and caring nature made this tour an absolute delight. Margaret expertly guided us through wineries, where the wine was consistently excellent. She also took us to hidden gem foodie hotspots, including Jack Rabbit where the cuisine was exceptional. Throughout the day, the stunning natural beauty of the Mornington Peninsula was on full display. Margaret's thoughtful recommendations and personal touches made the experience truly special. Positive experience: We went on the Mornington Peninsula explore tour. The positives of this tour were definitely the guide, the transportation and the scenery we were in. However the real let down for us was the tour itself, I believe we would have had a much better time doing an alternative tour with this company. This particular tour took us through the highlights of the area, with some nice stops along the way - but the highlight was meant to be the “lunch & bay sail”. This promised a “grazing table” with the regions best produce, and this could not be further from the truth. What this ‘cruise’ was, was the passenger ferry from each side of the heads of the peninsula with a tuckshop style meal. This was quite disappointing as an experience especially as this was the highlight of doing this tour for us. We would have loved to have spent more time in the brewery, but it was a nice experience. We recommend the tour company, but this particular tour is not worth it.

Fantastic experience: The full day moonlit sanctuary and fairy penguin tour was wonderful!!! Ryan was a brilliant knowledgeable, friendly and funny host who kept us entertained and interested, allowing rest times on the bus and catering to kids and adults alike. So much wildlife packed into one day with the penguin parade to top it off at the end!

Fantastic experience: We had a great time with our host Margaret during the healsville and puffing Billy tour. Very hospitable and welcoming. A local from Victoria so she helped us squeeze in some lesser known knowledge about eucalyptus trees with a national park stroll. I had a 4 year old and explore Australia was totally responsive through out. The only thing that can be improved on this tour is to squeeze in 15 mins for lakeside walk and picture during puffing Billy trip. Great playlist of songs too ;)

Pick up was easy, we stopped for lunch and the Moonlit Wildlife Sanctuary + the Penguin Parade was amazing! Our tour guide, Gina was exceptional and had in-depth knowledge of the local area. Gina really knew extensive details about Australia’s history, including its native ancestors, and about the extraordinary local wildlife including the wallabies, koalas, kangaroos, emus, penguins, and so much more. The tour itself was spectacular, but with Gina’s amazingly warm attitude and expertise really pushed it over the top. Thank you again for a wonderful and memorable tour!
