Fantastic experience: We recently travelled to Ireland after booking flights through Emerald Travel. We were extremely happy with them. They were friendly and responsive and very helpful. Everything went perfectly smoothly. We're now using them for another trip, and again we couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend them!

Negative experience: EMERALD TRAVEL FOR IRELAND - absolutely useless! If you are travelling to Ireland, do NOT go through Emerald Travel, Melbourne. Not only did they NOT provide us with any 'specialist' assistance or information, their organisation was hopeless. We were leaving on Christmas Day, but despite paying months in advance, our flights were not booked and had to be changed, throwing our plans out the window. We didn't get the details until the last minute, when someone had to hand deliver them. Upon arriving in Dublin, we found that our hotel hadn't been paid for; more needless stress. On our flight from Dublin to London, no arrangements had been made for our luggage to go with us! We also had to repeatedly sort out the twin rooms which we had requested and paid for; doubles were booked for us; more complications when checking in after a long day. In short, we did much better with the accommodation which we booked for ourselves as we went; no fuss, no confusion, no issues. Stay away from Emerald Travel; they are useless and they seem to think that they are fine. Delusional.

Negative experience: They are hopeless. Stay away from them. They take your money and don’t proceed with the bookings. And then after pushing them several times they get things wrong. Had friends use them, and their Christmas travels to Ireland was a disaster due to this travel company. Would have been far better to do it themselves on internet.
