I have recently bought Air tickets by Leena Shrestha at Buddha Travels. Getting her services was a wonderful experience. She is very professional and helpful, always listens to you patiently and tries to help you as much as she can. As long as she is working here, I wonât use any other travel agency for buying my overseas tickets. Hi Leena, please keep it up! Overall, I am really impressed by Buddha Travelsâ customer service staff. I also bought tickets from this travel agency last year and because of their good service I chose them again. But this year they were beyond my expectations. Ticket rates are also comparable to other travelling agencies. In fact, the rates are lesser than the others. Thank you, Buddha Travels! On 18th Jan 2018, our flight MH122 en route to Kuala Lumpur had to make an emergency landing at the Alice Springs airport. We got phone calls from the Buddha Travel team and were offered assistance. They arranged the Qantas tickets back to Sydney. In that stressful moment, we did not have to think about all these arrangements. We did not have to deal with the airlines directly. They took care of us in a very professional and efficient manner. I am now more than ever convinced that booking a flight ticket through professional travel agents like Buddha Travels is the best decision. Buying online could probably have saved a few dollars, however, it would not have helped in situations like this one. I highly recommend Buddha Travels to all of my friends.

Negative experience: We had very bad experience with buddha air . I dont want to declare the girls name but you guys need to train that girl properly to do her job. Me and my partners seat were in different row on both flight and we confronted them prior to our flights as well . They told us ,it will be managed but no nothing. We will mever book our tickets from there.

Negative experience: My experience with this company was terrible!!!! I couldn't get them to give us advice on what hotels would be best for our travel plans, our present hotel in the city or a hotel closer to the airport. Apparently the reason for their not wanting to help was that our earlier booking was from a different company. My advice... don't use Buddha Travel and Tours!!

Negative experience: The Buddha travel is a big scam First, They have unqualified staff Second, They will say the ticket is confirmed but, when you reach at airport your name was not in airline computer system Third, when you ask them to apologise and fix the issue, the guy so called Bhim Neupane fight with u saying it’s your fault for trusting us blindly and ask for extra money 800 dollers to buy an emergency ticket when you have already paid 1200 dollers a month ago. Horrible experience with them first and last so, I will advice everyone to not rely on them and book your tickets online or call the airlines. Advice for Bhim neupane please learn how to talk with your customers politely and apologise when there is your fault

When passengers pay such a big amount to their travel especially now during the holiday season, we always request that our customers check and reconfirm with us a few days before their travel and if they have any questions. We are always happy to assist, and we are available 7 days a week 8am to 8pm. Shikha, you did not check at all with us about your date change itinerary and just went to airport. This is not just about trust and believing in us, you also need to trust and put in your work and planning for such a big travel instead of fully blaming us.If we did not help you when you were airport at night, this would of costed you more, which you should thank us for. Negative experience: Review: Buddha Travel and Tours Australia I should have Googled about this company's services prior to purchasing my tickets to Nepal. So many people have been mistreated just like me with refunds and poor services. Would have given negative 5 stars here if it was possible. Absolute absolute horrible experience. They lack basic customer service, snaps at you when you ask about your refund, lies after lies, even to my lawyer (and I will get to that in a moment) and lots of passive aggression - emails you in capital letters whenever they're frustrated. Their audacity, is just beyond my comprehension. This is how it began - so bought 4 tickets to Nepal last December (2022), but had to cancel one ticket pretty much the next day as my elderly father could not travel due to sudden health conditions. So contacted Buddha immediately to advise and seek a refund. MAHENDRA (servicing personnel), advised me that the refund could take up to 10 weeks to come from Malaysian Airlines. He also mentioned about "some" airlines cancellation fee and will be deducted directly from the refund. When asked how much the cancellation fee would be, he said "it depends on Malaysian Airlines on the day of the refund", definitely unheard of but nevertheless gave him the benefit of the doubt. So to cut long story short, after 6 months of back and forth with emails and no refund, I involved a lawyer to deal with it. Advised my lawyer to contact them one more time prior to commence with proceedings. Even when my lawyer followed up with Mahendra initially, still the same excuse of refund delayed by Malaysian Airlines. So the lawyer contacted his manager BHIM who provided same lies followed by an absolute rude email reply and a threat even to my lawyer. When I emailed Bhim that the person he was replying rudely to was my lawyer and expect a court proceeding next, minutes later he replied with another email stating that he checked with the (Malaysian) airlines and they were happy to refund but with a cancellation fee of a shy of $400. Absolute joke. There should have been no cancellation fee given ticket was cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. If any, it should have been much lesser than that. Instead of refund, I had also kindly asked Buddha Travel if they could rather issue a credit note for future travel but they ignored my request. Hindsight, it is obvious that they had cruel intentions of not refunding the fund all along. BUNCH OF LIARS! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST! YOU'LL SAVE A MASSIVE HEADACHE!

Booked 4 tickets from them and we had an infant with us too but when we went to airport the airport officials told us that the infant ticket has not been registered yet. We had to go through hours of discussion before we could board our flight.

Negative experience: Buddha Travels do a very good job of dissatisfying their long standing customers by being insensitive and showing poor customer service skills. I have been patiently trying to get a refund for my travel booked in 2020, for which I have supplied all requested documents and the airlines approved it in writing in Mar 2022. So many months later yet, no one at Buddha Travels can give me a clear status of the request, a reference number of a proof that the request has been made to Airlines for refund and by when will I get that. My issues with their staff 1) Little or no response to mails. 2) No follow up on messages for people left via phone calls. 3) No proactivity or urgency in dealing with customer issues. 4) Absolute disregard to customer loyalty.

Negative experience: I do not see the point of going through Buddha Travel. You're better off going through Skyscanner.com or similar websites for better price. Teams were helpful when booking tickets however when it came to refunds, I was on my own dealing with airlines and with Buddha travel many (many) times. Companies are known by how they deal with exceptions, when things go wrong. However for Buddha travel they have handled my case with extreme neglect and with lack of professionalism. To their benefit - Thai Airways went into bankruptcy and was the root cause. However their lack of communication, delay in requesting refund, no response on their emails etc meant there is no point in dealing with a travel agency like Buddha Travel. I requested Buddha travel for a refund due to cancellation of flights in 2020. They ignored my request and only lodged it with Thai Airways after I contacted them many more times. In fact the exact date when they sent in the request was Jul 2021! Almost a year later! And I am still awaiting a refund for a ticket that was cancelled in 2020! Hope Buddha Travel will one day improve on their services. I do not recommend booking through Buddha Travel as there are many other agents who excel in what they do.

It has been a difficult time for everyone and as you would know, Thai Airways has had difficulties in its operation and bankruptcy issues since the start of the pandemic. This information is publicly available. Additionally, you are aware of this as you decided to deal with the airlines directly regarding your refund. After some time having had complications in your refund directly dealing with the airlines, you came back into contact with us to process your refund for you. Whilst the airlines has resumed its refund process since July 2021, inevitably it will take some time due to the large volume of the airline’s passenger refund backlogs and processing time. You can continue to get this update from the airlines directly them but please be aware of your aggressive behaviour with our consultants over the phone. This doesn’t help anyone and the information we provide is the one we receive from the airlines. When you would have called us and tried to quote a cheaper price for your travel, we would try to match or beat the price. Negative experience: ...i got ripped off $40 just to hold the tickets for a day (not book or confirm) which i wasn't made aware of ...turns out majority of travel agents dont charge this..but since buddha travels is in a convenient location being next to VFS who dont accept visa applications to Europe without an itinerary ,this is how they r making there money..just issuing dummy itineraries and charging people $40 ....they refused to refund my money when i cancelled ...and yeah staff cannot communicate properly ...very bad customer service...

Negative experience: worst customer service experience, giving 1 star only to give review, they are ZERO star.. wait until you have cancel ticket and they keep you waiting and waiting for months to refund amount ! they only want your money , never deal with these morons if there is a small chance you might have to cancel ticket; they would never listen to you and dont know how to talk properly, they even dont have refund policy, stupid peoples !!!!!!!!! -------- Just an update received call from their so called customer representative some time back and asked to me delete review as the issue had been resolved . AND MOST FUNNY PART - they threatened me that if i don’t delete the review they will take me to the court!!!!!!! Well, let me tell that i'm still $100 short than what i been told (in writing) which i mentioned over the phone. i know its not in your hand - than why would you give something in writing if its not in your hand, I cancelled my tickets just because you said i will get x amount of refund which i did not. and you expect me say good things about your service (there was no communication from your side whatsoever - i was the only one who was asking information) if you are in industry for 8 years as you have mentioned you should have known that you cannot give something writing and say ohh we can’t give the refund amount because airline didn’t issue that amount. its not my fault you committed first that i ll get refund than only i went ahead with cancellation. and you are saying i have abused you in the last review... if you call "stupid" as abused that go ahead , i ll see you in court.... stupid people !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Seshil, as a travel agency we have seen every type of situations our customers face when it comes to date changes and refunds. We are in the industry for more than 8 years and are experienced well with situations like yours. The issue was or is your impatience and attitude that is well reflected in the language that you have used in your review. We have to forward each cancelled ticket to the respective airlines and they have their own procedures to follow for the refund. We did everything possible from our side to take care of your cancellations. But the sad part is that you still feel we did not assist you. You have a misconception that only swearing is the way to get your work done. Please consider changing your mindset, for your benefit. We would not want to reply to your comments in the same manner and use the language that you have used. But the world is seeing what filthy language you have used on Social-media. We are not after money we strive for customer satisfaction & happiness.
