Fantastic experience: Ramin Moeini at the FC Carindale location is a star. So professional, knowledgeable, helpful, patient & relaxed with our many changes, questions & at times unsure about our itinerary. Our trip to Barcelona (which originally was not in our thinking....thanks Raminin it was great) then off to Amsterdam to join a Scenic river cruise to Budapest ... the definition of a holiday...5 star !!! Lastly off to Innsbruck for some alpine sightseeing & a lovely train ride to Munich, then home. All connections went smoothly & so happy we had Ramin & the FC team in our corner, if we had any issues, which we didn't. T & G

Fantastic experience: Mark assisted me in booking flights to the UK and he was wonderful! He was very thorough, made sure I knew the options I had and answered any questions I had. Fantastic experience: Ramin is fantastic! My friend and I went in, looking for some flights to Europe. We had little luck online and wanted some help. Ramin was so lovely and patient, dealing with 2 young excited girls. He tried to get us a retroactive discount on a cruise deal too! He had some fantastic recommendations and managed to get us a great deal! Highly, highly recommend his services!! The other staff were super friendly too.

Negative experience: Decided a travel agent needed in case we needed support while in transit. Visited Flight Centre Carindale last Monday and met with Sam for about 20 minutes. Now the weekend and I have heard nothing. No phone calls, no messages, no emails. And to make it all so much worse, neither phone number for Carindale is answered. Instead there is a recorded hold message running for 5.5 minutes which concludes without even providing the option to leave a message. Instead it says to “come in store” or to use the “easy appointment making system on (their) website” to make an appointment to see someone in store. I don’t want to go back into the store when an email and phone call is all that is needed to see and refine travel options. What an absolute disrespect for people’s time. Not to mention disrespecting people’s money in expecting people to not be at work in order to meet with them in person (again), and the increased travel expenses of not booking flight and accommodation options which were discounted and which Sam agreed to look into as a possible option. I have no confidence from my experience with Flight Centre Carindale that they will get you the best deal, that they will be there if you need them, or that they care for their customers. Avoid this Flight Centre branch.

Negative experience: Evan was the consultant however I wouldn't recommend him at all in fact I don't know if the company knows how incompetent he is. On numerous occasions I called ,left messages, talked to other staff to get him to ring me back or text me but nothing forthcoming. This lasted for over a week so I decided to give up as I was wasting my time with him and getting frustrated and the travel arrangements were about 10K worth of flights etc so if anyone is trying to book through Flight Centre Carindale be sure NOT to get this incompetent lazy consultant.

Fantastic experience: Last year I had the pleasure to work with Hemmy to plan my Japan trip. He was so pleasant, thorough and professional. I felt heard and the advice was incredibly helpful. When I emailed Hemmy with concerns or questions he would respond so promptly regardless of the time. Even when I was in Japan, Hemmy was able to assist me throughout. Hemmy is an incredible travel consultant and I have recommended him to other people and will be booking myself in to see him when I plan my next trip.

Fantastic experience: I walked into Carindale flight Centre store just before Christmas asking for a bit of help on a refund process due to not being able to travel back when COVID was a thing. A lady named Jodi took my request and helped assisted me to the correct contacts that were needed to start this process. During this time she showed incredible customer service, any questions I had she had an answer or strived to provide me with reassurance that she would get an answer. If your in need of a consultant, pop in and see Jodi.

Negative experience: Great to work with when they’re trying to sell to you. But they didn’t take any meaningful action to get my COVID19 cancelled flight refund until I made a complaint with the Office of Fair Trading. Comms very poor overall. Not worth the headache.

He is an amazing, experienced, knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful and patient Travel Agent because he listened carefully to what we like and planned our holiday with care. Negative experience: Very difficult to reach. Phones all go to someone working from home then she sends an email. Can wait days for response. Can't reach anyone in office by phone only email! Too hard

Positive experience: Hemmy was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough in helping us book our holiday to Japan.

Negative experience: Got quoted $1000 more (!) for a flight I found online and was told that they couldn’t beat the price. Gone are the days Flight Centre used to give you the best competitive price and give two sh.ts about their customers.

Negative experience: Fri 24/03/2023 I sat waiting being the only one in line over 20mins, having not 1 but 2 customers walk straight in ahead of me being seen too from 2 staff members who came from out back. I decided after the second person I'd go ask why they got service & not me to than be told I'd be with you in a second & the staff member continued to walk out back & close the door. Hemmy who was just finishing up with another customer came up to me & politely directed me to his desk to help me. At least someone could of come to acknowledge me waiting especially the 2 who came from out back. Wheres your customer service flight centre carindale its not as if yous were busy.

Negative experience: Hopless after-sale services. Trying to contact the agent (Abi) while I am overseas and desprate to cancel my ticket. No response after months, they just don't care I lose money and time! Disappointing and horrible experince. On top of all the mistakes in information about baggage wieght - they told me limit is 23kgs, I arrived and knew that was wrong! and for going over continents (USA) I could carry 30kgs (which I needed). My connection flight was canceld 2 hours before the flights, and I had to go on a rout with 4 stops where my initial booking was only one stop! Well worse experience, I can do a better job myself, like I done all my life, this one was the first and last with Flight Centre.

Negative experience: Went to book a week long Fiji holiday for ten months time. Was told no availability at the resort we wanted. I was really disappointed and didn’t believe it. Came home and booked it myself with the resort directly no problem??? Also the flights I booked myself were cheaper than what the travel agent at flight centre could do. Why on earth would I ever go to flight centre again, or any travel agent for that matter.

Fantastic experience: ABIGAIL HUBBARD is great - super helpful and efficient! I'm currently in the US so it's impossible to visit a store in person. I've been emailing various Flight Center stores and agents for months. Most were unresponsive and the ones who responded couldn't provide the assistance I needed. Abigail was recommended to me by FC instagram page and she sorted my issues within an hour! I'm finally able to use some of my pre-pandemic flight credits! I'm so grateful - thanks, Abi!

I visited Flight Centre Carindale a few months ago and got turned away stating my problem couldn't be fixed. Fantastic experience: Australia is opening from 21st jan for tourists and due to covid i coudnt see my wife and daughter from last 2.5 years.As soon as there was annocement for border opening for tourists flight ticket hit the skyrocket price.I was very worried that weather i ll get ticket for my family or not at good price but Costa Lentakis made it very easy for me to choose the right ticket with right airline.He took quite decent time to find out right ticket and he checked the timing,delays,connections,seating arrangements,bag allownce,food services related to my flight ticket. I took a huge relief. I have no words to describe that how serious he was with me to find a right ticket.Thanks a lot flight centre for assigning such a great people.Thank you Costa !!

Negative experience: Thoroughly dishonest and terrible to deal with. Jodi Small, a so called senior consultant, was duplicitous and lacking in truthfulness in her dealings with me. All she did was waste my time and money. When I expressed my concern, this was the reply I got from Jodi: "HAHHAAHH OMG this is hilarious! OK mate, have a good one."

Negative experience: Worst customer service ever. Consultant was completely unhelpful, couldn't recommend ANY tourist spots from a city that she said she was from. A really awkward exchange, completely unhelpful. Save yourself some time, do not book here!

Negative experience: Completely unhelpful staff, gentleman with green hair was really rude and aggressive. He gave me wrong information. He was also dishonest with the prices, also I showed him prices on the website , he changed the prices in a second.

Negative experience: Rude and condescending. Got turned away with 30 mins left despite the fact I just wanted to ask a few questions. In fairness they offered to book an appointment another time but they were rushing to get us out of the store. I said to not worry about the apointment and straight away they were worried that we would go to another competitor. They had enough time to worry about that but weren't even bothered to ask why we were coming in in the first place.

Negative experience: Incompetent staff, completely unhelpful, no sense of urgency when contacted to reissue tickets they had forgotten to issue prior to a flight booked through them. We missed our flight because of this. Staff members from Carindale lacked compassion and didn’t claim any responsibility for what had occurred. Do not book through them. The stress and extra late fees we had to incur because of this is not worth it.

Negative experience: Unfortunately this experience sucked. I looked at reviews before I went and still gave this store the benefit of the doubt. Horrible customer service, no people skills, and made me not excited at all to think I'm about to book the trip of a life time. Further the presentation of staff was low, no grooming standards enforced at all. I didn't end up getting a flight booked, after a 50min wait with me sitting there awkwardly in silence I was informed that my salesperson couldn't figure out his log in and to maybe just book half a trip and finish booking the rest at another time...what a joke. I thought at least maybe ask another staff member for help but not my place to do so.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Benita Fraser at Carindale Flight Centre. She was in continuous communication with me sending me options which suited my requirements. She responded in a timely way and secured accomodation for me promptly at times when there was only a couple of rooms left. I had confidence every step of the way with Benita. She will always be my first choice when it comes to booking holidays. I look forward to booking more family holidays with Benita in the future.

Fantastic experience: Just had Abigail help me shuffle around flights after the airline cancelled one of my flights last minute. Easily the best service I've had from anyone in the last 12 months. I used to book all my travel online but I will be booking it all through Abigail from now on.

Negative experience: Be very careful. I had to cancel flights due to covid lockdowns. I followed flights centers processes, even got a email confirmation from flightcentre that i had lodged my flight cancellation request. They still won't credit me my money. I have reported them to the QLD fair trading for actioning. Book direct with the airlines!

Fantastic experience: Elliot O'Shae-Cown from the Carindale office has been wonderful We have been continually kept abreast of changing rules and regs as we have cancelled or credited our planned cruise and a number of flights and accomodation bookings in NZ and Canada. Fantastic experience: Today I had the pleasure of sitting down with Sarah, and as she is a newbie, Rachel joined us. Sarah was super helpful, we worked out one idea and then I changed holiday location - Sarah was great, just rolled with it all. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Fantastic experience: Ev does a great job organising and co-ordinating travel on behalf of myself (living in NZ) and also for my friend who lives in near to Carindale. We often travel overseas together and Ev makes it so easy for us to plan and manage our flights etc. Nothing is too much trouble, and we really appreciate Ev's 'can do' attitude, as well as the rapidity of his response to any requests. And....my local Flight Centre here in NZ is equally as helpful and knowlegable.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Tom highly enough! He was the fourth travel agent we had seen to try and book our honeymoon and he made it so easy. He listened to what we wanted and was helpful without being pushy and took the time to come up with the perfect honeymoon that was within our budget. We will definitely be coming back to Tom for all our future trips.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday had a great experience with Mel Bergh at flight Centre Carindale. I was there with my wife and 6 month old daughter booking long haul flights and arrival accomodation. Mel had great suggestions on how to make the journey smoother for us (traveling with an infant is not so easy) and explored and explained all our options clearly. Nothing was too much trouble including calling and coordinating with hotel staff half a world away. She was very thorough and paid attention to the details. Fantastic experience: Just back from a fantastic trip organised by Damia Carr. Absolute perfection thanks to Damia going the extra mile to exceed our expectations. This is the second time Damia has organised our holiday and she is now our go to travel agent. If I could give her 6 stars I would as she ironed out some potential hiccups with the accommodation smoothly and efficiently so that there was a fantastic outcome for my husband and myself and our trip was....wow!
