Negative experience: 1 star rating for being open. Attended on 01/02/2023 looking to book flights, two staff members sitting at a desk with a considerable amount of documents on the desk,. Did not ask any questions about travel destination told we could go to Port Macquarie as they were not doing anything other than a package deal. Really disappointed as we were looking for a local agent to look after our future travel questions who it won't be.

Fantastic experience: In the past my parents and many of their friends were travelling with MVT to many various countries, and about 10 years ago my husband and I also started booking with this company. China twice and Thailand and, just prior Covid, to Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. The beauty of going on MVT tours is all-inclusive, and we never had any problems! On all of our tours, there was an Australian tour director who knew exactly what Australians like and dislike, which was a huge plus! MVT is a unique tour provider to any other tour companies, with so many extras included and is very transparent! * Just be aware that if you are booking a tour a year in advance, your deposit of $400.00 per person is NOT refundable! Think long and hard about the tour and the time of the year, like the weather and the itinerary destinations you are about to book! * Huge thankyou to Bruce, who was our tour director on the China and European tours!

Fantastic experience: I have dealt with MVT since 2003. Their staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful. They specialise in putting together overseas escorted group tours. I.E. you have someone to oversea the trip, sort out any problems and help where they can. Plus theres always an experienced and knowledgeable guide to meet you at your destination and help you get the most out of your journey wherever you choose to go. They try also to get you the best deal they can. Check their website for testamonials and informative itineraries.

Positive experience: We have travelled a few times with this travel agency. However the last one, only 5 months ago, we went to Mexico and Cuba with the same company. there were far too many people on the bus and seat allocations were quite difficult. During our short stay we were often hurried and there was hardly any time for convenience stops. The tour guides were not equipped with any microphones, so that most travellers at the end have missed out on important information. The Mexican tour guide, Enrique, did not wait to get his 'flock' together so that people often got lost. In addition there was never enough time at all to browse for souvenirs, hence, as we have missed out we had to buy ours at the airport. I have given specific feedback to the company and even compiled a colourful travel log for their convenience and information. So far I did not even receive a 'thank you' let alone an appreciative phone call. I personally believe that this company acted very unprofessional as they should be grateful that somebody took pen to paper and compiled a comprehensive feedback and travel log. Under these circumstances I would advise people to search elsewhere as this company does not appreciate any feedback let alone offer compensation for any inconvenience as we have experienced when travelling with other travel agencies.
