Fantastic experience: This week I had the incredible luck of having Austin take care of me, I cannot recommend him enough! He is so incredibly kind, understanding, compassionate and human throughout the whole process. Never once rushing things, he approached every question and concern with the same incredible professionalism every time, making sure that I felt taken care of the whole way. Fantastic experience: We booked our Whistler ski trip through Bobbie Lillicott at Flight Centre, Macquarie Centre and she was excellent from start to finish. She was responsive, organised and worked through all the details with us, which made planning an overseas ski trip much easier. Fantastic experience: What can I say about Austin at this Flight Centre branch, that won't sound like I'm gushing and will demonstrate his genuine above-and-beyond service? Never having used a travel agent before, and not having holidayed overseas for ages, I went to Austin with a big trip in mind which I would embark on, on my own. He started our journey by giving guidance about where to look online, to work out roughly where I wanted to go within the countries I had chosen. He was then able to come back, with his excellent European supplier, Mira, with a superb plan. Nothing was too much trouble as together we tweaked this plan until it was absolutely perfect. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with - straight-forward, helpful, patient and very knowledgeable. His own plan for checking and managing any flight changes from the airlines was most proactive. Simply put, I knew I was in safe hands. Without hesitation, I will request Austin again with any future trip. Note: I will never give positive feedback for a negative experience. I rely on reviews myself. What Ive described above is genuinely how I feel. Austin is a wonder person to deal with!

Negative experience: This is the worst travel agent I’ve ever seen in my life. I have travelled to many countries but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Flight Centre at Macquarie shopping Centre booked me all of these and everything went wrong. The hotel I arrived in Dubai asked me to pay for the room however it was paid for and they found out that they haven’t even received the payment from Flight Centre, the next day I went to Istanbul and I also had problems there. Hotel was booked for 2026 instead of 2025 and I had to pay for the night. On my way back to Australia, I went to the Marco Polo Hotel in Dubai which was booked by Flight Centre. This is a very very rundown hotel in a bad and dangerous suburb and almost nothing was working in the room and I had to change my room twice in one night. I also had problems with the reception because the confirmation number for the hotel was not matching!!!!!!!!!!!! I certainly do not recommend Flight Centre at Macquarie shopping Centre to anyone at all

Fantastic experience: Austin’s help is unmatched! I’ve never had a travel agent get me and my vision for my trip so on point. Any crazy idea or chaotically organised dream, he made happen! He is someone that becomes less of an agent and more of a friend. Stuck with me planning over almost a year. Was available whenever I needed and made me feel so supported before, during and after my trip. Any nerves I had he was able to dissipate with well thought out and researched choices for me. The entire trip was a dream and I managed to do every crazy idea on my list, all thanks to Austin. Everything went so smoothly and I have zero issues or hiccups with flights, tours, accomodation or activities. He planned me my perfect trip and I’ll be forever grateful. Fantastic experience: Brian and I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Europe. Frederica helped us make the right chooses for our flights, our accommodation in Zurich and Paris and gave us excellent guidance on what to go and see in Switzerland. Negative experience: What a joke seriously. I called last week to book flights and was waiting for an email to come through from the agent. I called 3 times and left him messages, he didn’t come back to me. Today I came to the store waited 20mins 2 people sitting on their desks and no one bothered and talked to me. I went and approached the guy and said I am busy can’t help you now. Lol

Negative experience: Waited 30 mins (at 4pm on Sat) to talk to customer service. Asked for Flight Centre to match Flight Centre website price. Agent advised this was not possible, but could not explain why management did not allow this when the company is the same. Used website instead - then website proceed to refuse price on a search provided minutes earlier - if there a so few options at a price courtesy would be to note only x offers available at this price. Would not recommend. Edit: even though Flight Centre as the vendor initiated the cancellation of the transaction, they still proceeded to have a hold on my account for 6 days - if you as a vendor are going to cancel a transaction the onus is on you the vendor to not have a hold on someone's account.

Negative experience: Incredibly disappointed with the customer service. Weeks to respond, called this morning and the person we have been chasing for a response actually answered. Simply too busy to be on top of responding, I asked about Aunt Betty being part of the group. Was told they will always be cheaper. Asked the benefit of going with flight centre.. was told the customer service and managing changes on our behalf. I replied but we can't even get a response now so that's a contradiction? They agreed. Asked to speak to the store manager... they weren't available. Appreciate being short staffed but that isn't surprising given there's no reason to maintain business with them compared to online services. Flight prices have now gone up because we have been waiting for a response... thanks so much.

Fantastic experience: I spoke with Dantae this morning .. less than an hour later, several quotes were in my in-box; all my queries following reading the email were replied to quickly, which helped my decision making, and by 3pm the same day, I was so happy with the information I'd recieved, that I asked for the invoice and was ready to purchase tickets! Dantae was very helpful and personable; I didn't feel rushed, or as so often happens at the point of sale like this; I didn't feel like a nuisance, by asking all the questions on my mind. He pointed out where I may need more time for customs processing, and which connections would be easiest for me .. he's a gem in this Industry!

Fantastic experience: We are very happy with our service from our travel agent Dantae and cannot recommend him enough. Throughout the whole process he was pleasant and professional who made us feel comfortable and at ease right through to the end. The European cruise line that we booked through had made a typo on our booking so Dantae followed them up and rectified the issue and confirmed with us it was all ok on his day off. Negative experience: Service from staff member Kirsty at Macquarie was very subpar. We voiced our concerns and need for seamless transfers not once but twice - we were assured this would be quite easy in all locations between public transport, Ubers and taxis. She has then proceeded to book us onto a 6:15AM international flight out of Venice, a location with no road access and no public ferries running in the early hours of the morning. Our only option for an airport transfer was to walk 10km to the airport with all luggage or fork out an exorbitant amount of money for a private water taxi given it was such short notice. The fact this did not cross her mind during both our encounters with her is quite frankly embarrassing. The incompetency was particularly evident when she attempted to provide alternative solutions for us for the wrong travel date (being a flight she had arranged for us). Further to this there was a complete lack of communication. We had to reach out to obtain our own plane and rail tickets less than 4 weeks prior to our departure. There were also multiple emails we sent that went completely unanswered.

All customers are required to sign off on both personal details & travel arrangements prior to their booking being confirmed & payment processed. This is the time to speak with your agent if you are not happy with a flight that has been quoted (eg. an early departure) as this can be easily changed prior to payment and confirmation of the booking.
We do apologize if you feel the quoted flight didn't suit your request, and I hope the above has provided some further clarity for you.

Positive experience: Had to come back 3 times to get someone to assist me. Eventually wrote down my itinerary and handed it to someone.
Negative experience: Waste of time and worst service by Tom. We visit the shop in macquarie and he gave us 2 qoutes for US trip. Me and my partner decided to email him back for our change flight details. Since we haven’t heard from him for one day, i went back to their shop the next day and saw him he was attending another client. Another sales lady approached me and asked me if she can help me and I said YES. As we are walking towards her desk, Tom saw me and spoke to me by distance told me he received my email as if he doesn’t want me to book flight with the other sales lady in their shop. He said he will email us that day. So I went home and he emailed me that night that he’s working towards our new flight request details and will send us quote the next day. Believe it or not, we did not heard from him more than a week. Last email he sent us was March 23rd telling us he will email tomorrow but it’s already March 30th. I think he meant by saying he will email us after a month? So we decided to book our flight through direct airline website and believe it or not, the flight price for our US trip was over the roof now. We went to flight centre because we wanted to have a better deal but it is not what we expected. It was a worst experience and I would NOT highly recommend this shop. Thanks Tom for the worst service!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Negative experience: Absolutely rubbish service. Surprised this company still exists. 1. You can only redeem vouchers in person 2. Waited 1 hour in store to be served 3. Has been over a week and have not yet received confirmation of our trip 4. Have sent numerous follow up emails and have not had a response 5. Have called numerous times and have not had a response 6. Called the emergency help line and no one answered

Positive experience: Great service and attention from Dantae today at the Macquarie Shopping Centre Branch. He helped us with an online booking problem which both Flight Centre or Virgin were unable to resolve online and telephonically, despite being on the phone for over 2 hours with them and shuffled between the two 'services'. We decided to go into a physical branch at Macquarie Shopping Centre today and Dantae was very kind, patient and professional - he listened, took the time to call Virgin and within 10 minutes all was sorted. Greatly appreciated Dantae - thank you.

Negative experience: The worst service ever. Highly unreliable. Travel agent that I dealt with never appeared, very unhelpful. Many times we asked for assistance, I got none. The only time she appeared was when we decided to pay. After that, she was always missing in action. Very disappointed with Flight Centre. I would not recommend anyone to take up their service. To speak to anyone, you have to make an appointment. Even though we have paid and would like assistance, we get none. In fact, we have had to contact the airline directly to get things done. Also, Flight centre has a different system which adds another layer of complication. I had to get her to fix the error that she made, almost as if I am doing her job for her. I have never put such negative review to any business however this is the first time I had such awful experience. Never again.

Negative experience: Terrible service by Tom from your flight centre at Macquarie Shopping Centre. I booked my USA trip with huge insurance which we believed him on the price and then he was very pleasant because it was a huge amount, but believing him we went back to him to book a domestic flight he was so bad the way he was talking in front of all customers rolling his eyes and having gum in his mouth. After waiting for than an hour. Gave him more than a month and he suggested we come to the store, and this is how we got treated in front of all customers, covering his mistakes of not doing his job in time. Very bad customer service. Such an embarrassment. I booked online on the same day I saved $186.

Went to local store- we are full today we can't see you. Ring the phone line -told due to unprecedented demand we are unable to talk to you and phone call is terminated- recorded message says go and talk to someone in store. Thanks for no service at all.

Negative experience: Was booked for phone consultation for this morning. No one called. The same happened a couple of months ago. No email, no appology, nothing! Terrible custumer service. Fantastic experience: Dantae Mirano, the Senior Sales Consultant we dealt with at Flight Centre Macquarie, is one of the most patient, professional and highly skilled travel consultants I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. We had left booking our flights to the very last minute for our overseas travel plans and the costs were astonishingly high, however Dantae spent a generous amount of time with us coming up with some creative options that not only helped us to reduce costs by more than half, but ended up being a better option than what we first set out to achieve. Fantastic experience: Although there is long wait times due to little number of staff on the floor, all staff members are extremely helpful and kind. They genuinely seem happy and keen to help you in booking a trip greeting you with a warm smile. Negative experience: Walk in the shop on last Sat. only two staff working, one is serving a couple, the other one was doing something on the lap. He noticed me & told me he is middle of something, I said I can wait. After 3 mints, he walk to me said do you want to book flight? I said I need some information with flight and hotel to Fiji. He sat down with me did some checking & give me a quote. I asked him to send me an email as I have all my details in their system. He said NO. Big shock!!!!!!! I asked him why? He said listen I have spend 20 mits with you and my app is waiting there. I understand you have app is waiting, but you cound write down my details and send me an email later. I think this is you job why saying NO to you customer? Only app is your customer we are not then. Very sad experice.

Negative experience: Made a special trip to Macquarie today to book flights to England.upon arrival we read a notice that said appointment only. Next appointment 27th April. A young man approached us and I asked him why this wasn't on the website, he asked me to repeat the question as I did have a mask on. He replied 'I only run the shop not the Web site' I replied 'but it's your shops website' He replied 'I don't have time for this' and walked away. Very bad customer service.

Negative experience: Just an all round bad experience. Poor, slow service, no inquiry into what I wanted as a customer, simply assuming what type of flight I wanted. I asked for checked baggage and it was never booked leaving me to fork out the greater price for it later. I could have booked my trip quicker, and cheaper myself.
