Negative experience: The worst travel agent experience I have ever received, and quite possibly the worst customer service experience in general. Unfortunately google requires a minimum of one star, however would happily have rated this business zero. Visited Flight Centre as we required quick travel arrangements following last minute cancellation of our previously booked trip. Went in seeking expert advice and knowledge, however our consultant: - Failed to consider our stated budget as we were immediately over this amount with flights, prior to even discussing accomodation - Asked zero questions with regards to our travel plans and failed to listen to any information we provided - Showed us interior pictures of an entirely different aircrafts cabin arrangement to what she booked us on, which was a key concern for our overnight long-haul flight and accounted for 3/4 of our total spend, AND… - Showed us interior pictures of an entirely different hotel to where we had booked which led to confusion and disappointment at arrival and check-in, as well as during our stay Despite only purchasing flights and accomodation, the booking process somehow took 1.5 hours, much of which was spent re-confirming details as our consultant frequently contradicted herself. I will actively discourage family and friends from visiting flight centre for any future travel plans, as the experience booking our most recent trip was frustrating, overpriced, and possibly in violation of Australian consumer laws.

Negative experience: I would not ever recommend flight centre watergardens unprofessional tell you things are included to then find out they are not then you call them back to bring it to there attention and tell you no you didn't want that but I'm happy to add at extra cost absolutely pathetic

Negative experience: I would never book again anything through flight centre. I booked my hotel through them and they got back to me with an email saying that my hotel has been cancelled 3 days before my trip, and they offered me another hotel which was not equivalent to the hotel that I’ve originally booked. they did not offer any sort of compensation as well.

Negative experience: Awful experience. We were happy to wait for 30 mins or even 1hour, customer service lady said come back then. We came back and she said come back another day. Instead of giving us the mix messages in the very beginning she could have been more clearer and precise. What a waist of time! I’d rather spend more energy on better customer quality appreciation

Negative experience: Disgusting customer service. Enquired about a travel card at the Watergardens store. Reply was "read the pamphlet as there's to much to explain" She had zero interest in assisting and there was no one in the store. I'd get more communication from a dog than you. If I wanted to read I'd just look it up on the internet. If someone comes into a store to enquire I'm pretty sure its beyond reading a pamphlet. Every reply to questions was close ended. You sure did your job in "not selling it" to me. Well done ✔️

Negative experience: Best if you stay away from all flight centre stores in general because their services are not worth using. It’s better to book holidays directly from the airlines at a lower price than from flight centre at a higher price. This place is just grabbing your cash, giving you overpriced deals, and once you book a holiday, you’re on your own if you have to cancel flights/holidays due to unforeseen circumstances. So might as well have a direct communication with the airline rather than using third party services like this company. They don’t want to be accountable for their own actions. The staff basically just sit around doing nothing. They even make it obvious that they don’t do their job and chase you away if you don’t book an appointment to see them, and even when you show up with one, they just repeat what’s on the website. They make lame excuse after excuse, from being understaffed to the rapid relaunch of travel after Covid, and despite this, they won’t even hire new staff to make up for their repeated poor performances. If this is the case, tell the people in Queensland to lower their unrealistic expectations and requirements, and hire people who can actually get the job done rather than having people over there just for their looks and don’t even know how to navigate around in the computer. Lockdowns and travel restrictions are a thing of the past for a long time now, so stop making silly excuses for your own poor services. Even this sign (which has been up for a very long time now) is fake. If there actually was a shortage of staff then they would actually be hiring people rather than wasting people’s time by making them go through the whole recruitment process only to give them different lame excuses in the end why they’re not hiring each time they’re questioned about it. The staff (basically all women) are just there to pick up benefits so that they can just travel at every given moment just to take pictures for their social media. Every time you go ask to see a specific person, that person is away on holiday. Company performance would be better without people like Danielle Budd/Smith and Nicole Foster, who definitely reads this and knows how this is 100% true. Edit: If there is indeed an increase in travel, then there would not be a need for sing to be displayed that says you are short staffed. And even then the ones that are there can't even do their job properly, which includes your upper management team. The topic of intensive onboarding training is out as a result. The way you think makes me laugh, so if you would like to discuss something, then discuss how your company performance can be improved.

When you book online you act as your own agent, whereas the in-store/phone experience offers the benefit of having your own personal agent. Pricing is dynamic and volatile and no price can be guaranteed until paid in full (unless otherwise advised.) As the travel industry is experiencing a welcome surge in business, these variations in price can be significant as more and more travellers return to the industry. This impacts availability, and therefore pricing, in real time.
Due to this increase level of travel, we do recommend customers book an appointment as this ensures everyone receives a dedicated sit down to talk about their travel plans.

Negative experience: Staff in this branch is rude and not accomodating. Went to book a cruise but was told they are close when its just 5pm.

Negative experience: During the meeting with the employee to buy flight tickets, he gave me a quote for my tickets, I agreed, and when I wanted to pay him when he finished the procedures, he said to me, "Sorry the price was increased, and you should pay the new price", and he said to me that he has an appointment with another customer in 10 minutes, and I should come again for my tickets. All of that happened in 50 minutes, I did nothing. I just was waiting for him to finish.

Fantastic experience: Mid last year, my partner initially went to Flight centre to enquire about a 7-week winter European trip. Alyx gave us a tonne of information and used her experience to help plan our trip. From the get go communication was always consistent, responses were always prompt, nothing was ever too much for her and I found it easy to get in contact. I really cannot recommend this team enough! They are constantly under the pump - but the hours and effort these guys put in is certainly shouldn't go unnoticed. Honestly, Alyx was an absolute godsend and provided us with so much support and reassurance throughout our whole trip (when we did experience one or two uncontrollable mishaps). We truly had the best trip of our lives and a large part of that goes to Alyx for helping us organise and be able to travel stress-free. Thank you!!

Negative experience: Disappointing!! Appointment made with a consultant two weeks ago in person. Arrived for our appointment to be told that it was entered into the computer for next week. This wasn’t the date we were given when making the appointment. No accountability or offer to accommodate us, just told nothing they can do about!!! Extremely poor customer service, we will take our business elsewhere.

Negative experience: If I can give this place, no stars, I would. My partner and myself booked a holiday to Cairns. We pacifically asked for a kitchen in our room. when we got to Cairns our room had no kitchen in it so I paid for the upgrade from my own pocket. Flight Centre said they would refund me the money. My partner has been calling up flight centre since October, just to get the runaround. To the Point, we had to get The ombudsman involved to get my refund. We finally got the refund now in February. It just not good enough we Shouldn’t have to get the ombudsman involved to get my refund. I will never be going to Watergardens, flight centre or any other flight centre ever again. I would recommend anyone organising a holiday don’t go to flight centre. It’s just not worth the headache. If you can not do it yourself get someone else to help you? But don’t go to flight centre. This flight centre is just so unprofessional.

Negative experience: Staff were so unhelpful asked for a package deal and was advised to go outside and look in the window. Didn’t want to do her job was sitting there picking at her nails. Save your time and go to a different flight centre.

Negative experience: I booked and paid in full for a trip to Bali booking # 2705954 about 8 months ago in the main time I suffered a serious injury, i have tried everything to cancel the trip on the advice of my Doctor, before the deadline but I got the running around from Flight centre that is impossible for anybody to believe or understand.the person which handles you booking is available or to busy to talk to you and things like that, this was going on for about 3 weeks until the deadline But after the last day I finally got to see that person only to tell me I was 1 day late and their is nothing they can do to get my money back from the hotel and Jetstar was refusing a refund the, tickets were no refundable I have provide Flight centre with proof that I was trying to cancel the trip but no go I got in touch with Jetstar which they’re brilliant they understood my situation they asked me for some documentation which I was happy to provide and with in few sort days they have agreed to a cash refund, something that was impossible for Flight centre to do simply their dint want to do it, Flight centre took $2.455.73 from a disabled older person I hope they proud of them selfs, job well done and i still having trouble to understand why why you asking the hotel for a refund when is very clear that you have stuffed it up by refusing to cancel the trip Please don’t came back and tell me how sorry you are because you are not and don’t tell me about your customer relations team I have all ready done that

Negative experience: I can not express how disappointed l am with flight ctr. They happy to sale you everything but once that's done your on your own. They mixed up our flight sent us to a different airport but didn't fix up owe transfers to the hotel after telling them twice. So we were stuck waiting only for them to tell us there was nothing we can do. We paid another $300 for a taxi to get us to our hotel. That's just the first part of our trip, l can go on but all l have to say is if you can organise your owe trip online yourself, you would do it better then flight centre. And do not let them sell you the eurail pass cause they definitely won't help you with that. Your on your own.

Negative experience: Went in today to book two Business class flights to Europe. We were told no appointments were available until the first week of August, no attempt to ask what we wanted. In the end Emirates were very happy to book our flights and hotels. I hope that Flight Centre Watergardens realise that they lost commission on 34K today. We actually booked First Class! I suggest that people vote with their feet… and go elsewhere.

Negative experience: Worst Customer Service Ever! My travel enquiry and booking initially was fantastic (booked with Tom) as the time and care was taken and genuine excitement shown with booking our Europe trip, after all we scheduled 2 cruises and flights/accommodation with him. He was fantastic but sadly left the company (also sending a goodbye email notification). We were then given Grace as our consultant and everything went downhill from there. I had to chase constantly for travel documents (right up to a few days before flight) which was both very stressful and frustrating. I had to book any in person meetings (which were not accomodating due to work schedules), when attending such meeting pushed to see other consultant as Grace was busy with other people, and given information already had! Messages to return calls and emails not actioned. No care felt, even went into the office 5 days before flight scheduled as needed amended documents which asked for on multiple occasions and only received 2 days before flight as I had to constantly hassle. Would not recommend to use Flight Centre at all due to this. Very very disappointing.

Negative experience: Whent there four of the employees sitting doing nothing and told me you need booking, its not only watergatdens but most of Flight Centre offices same thing I dont know who is managing westernsuburbs but clearly they not doing their job,one of them legs put on chair should have taken photo and post it here

Positive experience: The service I got was good BUT the fact that it was by appointment only (no walk-ins) and I had to wait over a week for that appointment was not good.
Negative experience: Called to book an appointment and tried calling from 3pm to 3:30pm and noone answered the phone. Wanted to book flights but was told to make an appointment when I went instore to discuss while finished my groceries, assuming that they were short staffed and unable to answer the phone due to being busy. No offer to book an appointment by staff member or interest in my enquiry. Have booked my business class flights with an alternative travel agency outside of flight centre.
Negative experience: It is very disappointing and infuriating when you have to wait for 2 weeks to get an appointment and then you are made to wait 20 minutes after your appointment time, while there are 3 staff on, and only one of which was attending customers. Despite telling the staff that we need to get back to work nothing was done about it. What sort of a business is this where your last appointment is at 4pm? Not everyone has the whole day free to book a trip. This Saturday is all booked in and if I wanted weekend I have to wait another two weeks. This is a great way to ruin any excitement a person may feel trying to go on a holiday. Thanks for nothing. You should also train your staff better in customer service, after all it is a customer service focused job.

Negative experience: Went to the store to book flights early Feb and was told by appointment only for the month of Feb, went back to book flight again mid March to be told sorry by appointment only. There were 5 workers just sitting at their desk with no one waiting to book flights. Very disappointed and won’t be using flight centre again.
Negative experience: Worst flight centre experience my partner and I have had. Served by Grace I think lol.. Ignorant, unhelpful, lazy customer service. Rude and honestly a bit unhygienic. Pretty sure they hire people on crack here lol. No stars sorrrry!

Negative experience: I really wished i looked at the reviews before i went to thus store. I usually love going to flight service however this one has to be the worst one I’ve ever been to. Staff are rude and look like they just can’t be bothered.. i dealt with grace and she was hopeless. I sent many emails regarding seat selection etc and she just ignored me I had to chase my own paper work. I have never experienced just lazy customer service. Go to highpoint or airport west stores. Warergardens is the worst flight centre ive ever been to and i wont go again.
Negative experience: Was told to been on a Saturday you have to make a booking so me and my son make a booking when our time came to be seen 1 of the staff members friends walked in without a booking and took our spot the staff had told them he wasn’t busy I was sitting right there heard the whole thing. The hype of booking a trip on the day was gone.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE!! Flightcenter watergardens is an absolute scam, the captains package is a scam, the currency exchange is a scam, and the staff are extremely rude and incompetent. They will also ghost you when you try and chase up the refund they owe. Clearly I am not the only one who feels this way considering the multitude of bad reviews. What a joke of an establishment, if I could give it 0 stars I would. Staff needs to be fired and replaced immediately.

Negative experience: Shabby customer service. Arrogant, sarcastic and dismissive attitude from 'consultant' who preferred to 'not know' who I was when I arrived 5 mins late due to unavoidable delay.

Negative experience: Seriously, big mistake using this company. Calls are not returned, staff unhelpful. Massive staff turnover, called twice to speak to our consultant no return call sent email only to get email saying he had left, was not told that when called originally

Negative experience: This is exactly why Flight Centre Watergardens has bad reviews. Went into store to ask for a booklet on Sydney to be told they don’t have any and to download it from the website. Called a few days later to get assistance and recommendations on accomodation as we have never been to be told all consultants are busy, no one is available for appointments for a further 2 weeks and go onto the website for any recommendations. Not helpful at all and a waste of time. Terrible customer service and a no care factor for customers.

Negative experience: Booked a holiday package to Fiji with this branch, my first mistake!!! I call a number of times and left a message but no one returned my calls, worst we were booked to see Isabelle Riad today at 11:00 am to picked up our itineraries. She said that she will be available on Anzac day where we pre warned her that it is a public holiday, sure enough we are here at 10:00 am and was welcomed by the announcement that they will be opening at 1:00PM, would it not be good if they call us to inform that our meeting has to be rescheduled? We have already paid in full and very much disappointed with the way we are being served… will not use this company anymore…!
