Negative experience: The service provided by this team was extremely disappointing. If you’re expecting any expertise in holiday bookings, you will likely be let down. We had the assistant manager arrange our trip, which included three nights in Tokyo, with a much-anticipated visit to Mt. Fuji. However, upon arriving at the designated pickup location, we were informed that our booking had not been confirmed by Flight Centre. The follow-up process was equally frustrating. Initial calls were routed to an offshore call centre, leading to hours of delay before finally speaking with someone locally, who simply apologized and offered a refund.

Negative experience: I thought the whole point in this place was to help you book arduous flight journeys, and make your travel plans easy? Literally wanted to spend over $20k on flights! It’s been over two weeks now since I went in, sat down and spoke with Angie, and no one has got back to me. If the service is this bad and lacklustre, then how can they be trusted to book correct and on time flights? The answer is. They cannot be trusted. Go elsewhere if you’re wanting a multitude of complex flight journeys around the world. These lot are not up to the task!

Negative experience: Went in twice, first time people looked at me and completely ignored me, second time Sent me away saying had to book an appointment, 5 operators sitting around with no clients. Hopeless , no attempts to book an appointment with me, why have a retail shop they might as well be online only, in India.

Fantastic experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was having a lot of trouble organizing my flights from Birmingham to London and then back home. I found various options online, but none of them felt right. Feeling overwhelmed, I walked into Flight Centre at Bondi Junction and approached Carol Carvalho Campos, even though she was in the middle of something. I apologized for interrupting, but she instantly stopped what she was doing and assured me, “That’s my job!” From that moment on, for the next hour, she dedicated herself entirely to helping me. Carol didn’t just help me book flights; she sorted out my travel insurance, seats, hotels, and even details I hadn’t considered. Whenever I had a question, no matter how big or small, she took the time to explain everything to me, often going above and beyond to show me exactly what things would look like or entail. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she made me feel completely supported. Thanks to Carol’s incredible attention to detail, I left the store with my trip, as well as my business partner’s travel, fully sorted. Now, I have peace of mind and can relax, knowing everything is in place for our travels a month from now. But it didn’t stop there! Carol emphasized that if I had any further questions, needed changes, or wanted to add anything, I should not hesitate to contact her directly, and she would be happy to assist. Carol Carvalho Campos is a shining example of what customer service should be. Her kindness, generosity, and willingness to go the extra mile restored my faith in customer service here in Sydney. She is a true testament to the quality and professionalism at Flight Centre Bondi Junction. Thank you, Carol, for making what could have been a stressful experience an absolute pleasure!

Negative experience: We went into the Westfield Flight Centre to book 3 business class flights and and a 10 holiday package. We were rudely told we would have to make an appointment the next day. We made an appointment for the next day, but decided to just book on line. When I tried to cancel the appointment so someone else could use the time slot, I was on hold for ages and then was put through to a full message bank so was unable to cancel the appointment.

Negative experience: Do not go here unless you want to waste time! My partner and I went into the store yesterday and was rudely told by a women with blonde hair in a pony tail to come back the next day even though there was not a single person in the shop. Went in today to get a quote for flights and the same women could not have been any ruder or unhelpful. Gave her dates, airlines, flexibility and she was extremely uncooperative. Gave us one quote (which was the most expensive I have ever heard) then went back to scrolling on her phone. We got up and left in shock and silence. I found better deals in 5 mins of searching then she did.

Fantastic experience: I've always been hesitant to use travel agents as I suffer from severe doityourselfitis but I recently went through Holly Klein at flightcentre bondi junction to book my sons trip to Mexico. She was outstanding, thorough and helped to rearrange flights, travel insurance ( not expensive). She always got straight back to me and I cannot recommend her highly enough. It made the whole process easy having someone sorting itineraries etc. 10 out of 10.

Negative experience: Zero chance of response when calling or emailing these people. Good luck if you have any issues with bookings through this place! Worse still you have to queue to even get a chance to talk to someone here. My simple hotel booking I’d made 6 months in advance through Klara at Bondi Junction was non-existent when we turned up to our hotel in Abu Dhabi leaving us to have to pay at the hotel’s reception and then having to call the 24 hour “emergency” line to sort stuff out. This all happened of course around 1am in the morning - NOT the sort of experience anyone wants when travelling. You have been warned, I know I will never use Flight Centre again!

Fantastic experience: Both times I’ve used Flight Centre in Bondi Junction since the Covid lockdown years, they have been friendly, professional, quick and through. The travel booking experience was way less complicated than travel agencies I’ve used in the past, including my own abilities online (which is pretty good and efficient). They know what their doing, get you what you want, and make sure all aspects of your travel is taken care of, and if not, you go away knowing what you have to do. Once booked you also have their contact details if anything goes wrong while you’re away. This safety precaution is key as it saves online irrigation, dead ends and lengthy wait times. It’s a no brainer people. Just go, and save yourself the hassle.

Fantastic experience: Today Saturday July 1st 2023, I received the most heart-warming, attentive, caring and upbeat welcome and service from the amazing Klara, I had been feeling overwhelmed and down with things going on, but her kind and cheerful demeanour turned my whole day and mood around, but most importantly she swiftly procured and booked the sort of hotel I was after for our Tasmania trip. Great service and the vibe of the staff overall was clearly positive. Strongly recommended this branch for their great service, especially when life has you so busy you can't think to get bookings sorted. Negative experience: I guess, I'm a regular client who has to fall back on online flight bookings as I struggle with the concept of booking an appointment with a travel agent. As if we wouldn't have to book so many other things in advance. It's certainly not the travel agent's fault rather than the managements. So there we go they just lost another regular client....shame. Just to point out that the agent at Bondi Junction was really nice to explain the predicament..

Negative experience: Went in to book some flights and accommodation. There were 3 or 4 people working and only one customer. Told me I needed an appointment. I would have been in and out in 5 mins. I knew exactly what I wanted to book. What a waste of time. Great business model to irritate potential customers and send business elsewhere.

Negative experience: Don't bother. I booked my trip online. Nobody interested in commission /service anymore. Couldn't get anyone's attention after repeated attempts. When someone finally agreed to see me, I was told I'd have to come back in 2 weeks for my 'appointment '. Phones and email equally as frustrating. Never Again.

Negative experience: The lady at this place was about to have mental breakdown while my boyfriend was talking to her ! She knew nothing about what he was asking and told him to look stuff up on Google. Then told him our $550 credit was gone. Poof !! Just disappeared into thin air. When I go back I will be taking $550 worth of their computer equipment with me.

Negative experience: DON'T BOOK WITH THIS FLIGHT CENTRE USE ANOTHER STORE! Absolutely terrible customer service and no help given when needed. We booked flights here and were misinformed before booking on the current travel limitations. When we tried to get help with new flights we were charged extra, laughed at and made to feel like fools and blamed for the mistake! Even told to pay the extra cost or move aside!! I've never written a review in my life but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and forced me to complain. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS AND IF YOU DO BOOK WITH THEM, DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST AS THEY MIGHT NOT GIVE YOU ALL THE INFORMATION AND BLAME YOU FOR IT!!

Fantastic experience: I had a guest who needed to go to Ireland in a hurry. We presented to the store without an appointment late on a Friday afternoon. Jo Haseler was absolutely fantastic. She understood the urgent need for the travel to take place and organized a great deal on a return flight. Jo went out of her way to assist her every need. Negative experience: Not pleasant, woman who took my flight edetails acted as if it was a favour to her to be there. I was polite but she had a bad attitude. I went to airline myself and booked it as couldn't face prospect of dealing with her again. Blond, 40 ties i can supply name if u wish

Negative experience: Trying to get help with flights, seems only to be possible if you fly in the next two days. Which make it hard if a person is trying to plan. At first I was understanding and found another Flight Centre that was very helpful and it was a very smooth and fast service, all my questions was answered and I booked an international trip. However due to circumstances out of our control we have to cancel a international flight ticket. I e-mailed the original flight centre, that assisted me with the booking, however they did not respond. I realised they are in Brisbane which is effected by the floods and I called Bondi Junction again for assistance. I was told again they can only help if my flight is in the next two days. I tried to explain the situation and was repeatedly asked if I called the other centre. I do understand everyone must be very busy trying to help customers with booking holidays, but in some situations someone should be able to troubleshoot other problems even if a problem is more than two days away.

Fantastic experience: Flight Centre Bondi and specifically Ben Houseman, a team leader with Flight Centre has given me outstanding service over the last few months. The pandemic is definitely the easiest time for travel businesses, but Ben and his team has acquitted themselves excellently from the job. From my original booking where I received sensitive and supportive service during a time of distress when I realized that I need to travel abroad, to the process of travel, organising insurance and then staying in touch about the return flight. Providing me with contact details over Christmas time when I needed to get stuff done. While they could not prevent the inevitable cancellation that came through from the airline, Ben and his team have been professional, and incredibly supportive during this time trying everything in their power to get a rebooking, advising on all the options and decisions in the mean time. Since being home, they are assisting with details on insurance and getting a refund from the airline. All in all, a professional and personal experience. I can highly recommend their service!
Negative experience: Have you been told you are not getting a refund from Flight Centre? You're not alone. We are a group of angry Flight Centre customers who have been ripped off by Flight Centre due to Covid 19. As a former employee of FC and they will do what they can to take your money. We are thinking of launching a civilsuit against the Flight Centre Group. Lawyers are being consulted as I write this.
