Positive experience: Great Service

Negative experience: For more complex bookings i.e. tours, you will need to be more thorough with them, especially regarding the details of the flights. My family booked the 13 day China tour - this was handled by Ignite Travel Group. The tour itself was fine, however for the 4 times that we had to be on the plane, 3 of the 4 times our family was not seated together. And for the one time that we were, we had to arrange this with the check-in staff at the airport. Despite upgrading our flights, this was not taken into account (being mindful that we are a family of three which should make this very easy to arrange) - it is a disappointing lack of attention for detail. Given that we are paying a couple thousand for the experience, we would expect this to have been a non-issue and we were extremely disheartened by the lack of care the team at Flight Centre Highpoint showed.

Negative experience: Stay away from Flight Centre. The Office at Highpoint ended up quoting me a massive $2,300 MORE than what I got by booking flights myself direct with the airlines on the Internet - Melbourne to Bangkok to Tokyo to Vancouver to Melbourne. I'll never go to them again for a quote, given they were soooo far off the mark.

Negative experience: Spoke to an agent to book a family of 5 trip to Singapore. Couldn't have been less enthused to help. Was ready to pay on the spot but the agent didn't even take the time to spell any of our names right. This branch sucks go elsewhere

Fantastic experience: We had such a wonderful time in Europe due to the expert advice of Fatosh. She booked hotels rooms in each city in the perfect locations, right next to train and tram services in the heart of the town. I think she may have even organised the perfect weather we had too!

Fantastic experience: We recently booked our family holiday to Bali with Brent. Booking a Bali holiday can be overwhelming as there are so many accommodation options- Brent was so helpful and went above and beyond to find us the best family friendly accommodation- nothing was too hard! Within 48 hours my flights with Virgin were rescheduled for the same times. But i haven't seen this worst customer service in any other flight centres. Please dont waste your time by visiting Highpoint Flight Centre.

Negative experience: I don't know what's happening with customer service these days but it doesn't exist at HP flight center. I went in today to enquire about a trip later in the year, no customers were in the store the three lady's were chatting around a desk. One lady did approach me and told me to come back when i was ready to book, well i was ready to book and wanted to check the prices compared to the online ones but she couldn't even be bothered to check for me. I thought you were suppose to be in the customer service industry to assist customers with travel enquires. You were crying out for customers during covid and now you can't even be bothered helping them. Another customer you have Lost.

Positive experience: I booked instore with Teigan for an around the world ticket. I thought I’ll just do what regions on my wish list but getting to Europe I’ve had to pay for inter connecting flights, buses and go overland the Mediterranean which is very expensive as it’s all in Euros. I wish now I’d got more detail in my itinerary as the cost was about $6k for a 3 mth itinerary. The flight to Peru via Mexico had to be rebooked and not safe for me to stay overnight alone so itinerary needs changes. I’m grateful for Nicolas for issuing my tickets and spending hours giving me tips for Greece he was lovely. Teigan was away and he was really helpful and rebooked my Peru flight with the manager. I needed a visa for Turkey and he obliged also. Thank god I got extra support as I was pretty nervous as haven’t travelled since my 20s solo back packing.

Negative experience: So bad with costumer service!, i was waiting there standing and i wanted to inquire with their flights but no one really care i even came back twice,,i tried to ask one of the staff but instead of helping me one of them was just like didnt bother at all. Am not sure how flight centre management hire their staff, this branch in Highpoint is just the worst. But i was in luck i found a travel agent company w/ more reliable and costumer service friendly staff at the end while doing my flight searching.., flight centre Highpoint I do suggest reEvaluate your staff and hire a coordinator to manage them if you dont have one.. good luck to this team in the future

Fantastic experience: I recently booked my Bali accommodation through Luke F at highpoint. I know that each time I give Luke the brief of what I need, most of the time Luke has already experienced the place of interest, the accommodation, the flight, the excursions and is a wealth of knowledge as to whether you should bring cash/card/travel card, etc... My only request was to stay in a fancy hotel by the beach in Seminyak and not only did Luke deliver, he had previously stayed at the resort and we knew exactly what we getting and what to expect. This kind of piece is mind for someone like myself traveling to Bali for the first time was extremely comforting. Thanks to you Luke and your amazing team at highpoint!

Negative experience: Unprofessional and unresponsive staff. They don’t care at all even to look at you if you go and stand there. It’s our job to ask them if they can help us. Worst flight booking centre you will ever find in Melbourne. Please don’t book any ticket with them if you don’t want to lose peace of your mind. I canceled my ticket in October by visiting their office in Highpoint and am still waiting for my refund. And when i try to reach them via phone they will never answer. Flight Centre must look into this matter especially with the female staff working there because they don’t care at all about the customers. Every time I visited this office the female staff is always busy in their own world either talking to each other or doodling with their phones. Seriously they should shut down this centre or change the staff. Even after trying everything for last 4 months i am still waiting for my refund.
