Negative experience: My experience of seeking a quote for flights to NYC and London today at this branch ended strangely and I left feeling a bit irritated. After 20 minutes of working through options with a woman sales rep who handled it all well and as professional as one would expect, it turned a bit weird after I shook hands with her to say thank you and goodbye. I rose from my seat and turned to walk away to hear her suddenly ask " So.. where from (my home country) are you from?" I turned back to her, thought for a sec and then told her - she'd clearly picked up on my accent as my nationality wasn't raised before. She then said in a strange manner " Bye (my name)" - it was the tone of how she said it that made me feel a bit uneasy. It was a bit creepy tbh. No thanks.

Fantastic experience: I've booked my travels here with an amazing travel agent by the name of Marina. She was extremely attentive and listened to my needs over the phone and was professional and polite. Marina made it a seamless experience for me in person and provided me with great suggestions as I was planning my trip overseas. If you ever want to feel like a valued customer, Marina definitely makes you feel acknowledged/valued. Would highly recommend Marina. She really makes the flight centre brand shine.

Fantastic experience: Lucas (Assistant Team Leader) set up an amazing SE Asian trip for us which we have just completed. Outstanding flights and accommodation, cannot praise the customer service enough.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience, we waited for over an hour, they had some customers waiting even longer than us. Then some repeat customer walked in and was looked after straight away. We got up and left, there were other customers still walking in after us and im sure they wouldn't of gotten seen at all.

Fantastic experience: Visited the Chadstone recently with some friends to receive some help with planning and booking our trip to Bali. Erin Lee went above and beyond with assisting us with all of our questions and requests and we couldn’t be happier with the deal we booked. Thank you so much to Erin for her patience and dedication to great customer service! Will definitely return for any future holidays we may want to plan.

Fantastic experience: Booked some flights and accommodation with Erin at Chadstone. Erin listened to my requirements and went above and beyond to meet them, as far as finding my accommodation $2000 less, as well as adding in transport that I had forgotten about. I have never felt safer booking anything than what I did with Erin. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thankyou so much Erin.

Negative experience: Horrible experience with Caity, completed Messed my booking to Europe, keep holding me and saying she is busy, which she is not because our friends passed the store, saying there is no one in store. Because Caity keep Delay my booking and cause my flight from $3000 up to $4000. And when I phoned , Lucas was rude and completely careless, he told us he was busy, we have to talk to Caity, but he over heard something, he said it is not her fault. After 13 minutes talk, instead of helping us completed the booking, he just blaming on the phone all the time. And we spent around $4000, this is how we been treated! It is shocking! We have to pass on to headoffice to address this “ Suprise customer experience “.

Fantastic experience: Lucas in-store was incredible. Had a very poor experience online and went in-store to get a cruise booked. Lucas was quick, knowledgeable and fun to work with. Request him if you want a positive and great experience.

Negative experience: Front desk staff has awful attitude

Fantastic experience: Having recently been faced with a last minute trip cancellation (instigated by the operator due to circumstances beyond their control), Igor at flight Centre Chadstone went the extra mile to rebook the trip and negotiate a discounted rate. Thankyou so much.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with our interactions with flight centre chadstone. It initially started off quite well, our booking process was smooth and efficient. We were upsold the captains package thinking we would receive additional support if needed. A few days later, I found our exact flights cheaper, so I contacted our sales team member to arrange for a credit/refund under the captains promise product. It took multiple emails and phone calls, none of which were returned, over a 6 months period. I finally questioned if the staff member had left, which she had not, and I was finally able to get some help. Furthermore, I have found other flight centre locations have been able to help me even though they were not the ones who helped us with the booking.

Fantastic experience: I’ve just completed the flight centre survey but also wanted to share my recent experience with anyone who values the expertise of others. Our trip to New Zealand was absolutely perfect! Our accommodation was exactly as we requested (location and facilities), the time frames in each city (Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown) were just right and the car hire organised added to our adventure. Thank you so much GEORGIA STEPHENS for your patience, expertise and attention to detail! Negative experience: I want to give zero rating to this store staff members .. they don’t know how to deal with customers . They have lack of knowledge for their profession. They are not up to date with the new airline policies . I went there to book a ticket for my mum , they asked me to sent her passport details on the email and then they didn’t know how to put her name properly on the ticket form . Then they started asking each other staff members in the store but they all helpless . They had to contact the airline , just because of this little basic thing we had to wait one hour and still when then couldn’t do it .. one of their staff members came to us and she asked us to leave the store coz other customers were also waiting .. when I asked she told me they don’t know how long it will take may be one day two days or more !! I mean really just for a basic knowledge of ticket booking policies they don’t know , we had to suffer .. and I felt so bad . When I ask if I can book a ticket on the phone then she said no you have to come back to the store again when we call you ! Me and my wife we came out from the store . I called another air ticket company and they booked my ticket on the phone just in 15 mins .. we were booking our tickets with Flight centre almost 13 years ..only upgrading the stores are not enough Flight Centre has to upgrade their staff members as well .. and yeah no more tickets from Flight centre .. very Bad experience… really disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Visited Flight Centre Chadstone. Firstly, the office was very clean. I enjoyed the ambience. I was attended by Courteney. I wanted to book flights for India. I gave her my preferences of dates and time. She explained me the process very well. Also, let me know about the hidden fees, cancellation charges, or the change of dates charges. I was able to book my preferred flights. The rates might be a bit high, but there is a guarantee of the booking. I had an amazing experience booking my flights. She was very patient with my questions and answered all of them. I would highly recommend Courteney to book your flights. I would definitely be back to book my cruise tour. Fantastic experience: Had a great trip to Bali thanks to Zaisha! She organised great flights and an amazing hotel, as well as giving me personal recommendations for activities and drivers there!! Overall 10/10 trip. Will be coming back to Zaisha again for future travels.

Negative experience: A very disappointing encounter today with the flight centre staff on the phone and quite unprofessional with her communication. The customer service agent was quite aggressive with her responses. I don't recommend anyone to go here.

Negative experience: If you work for this company you are contributing to a business that thrives on hidden fees and fake credit. I got credit for a flight in February that I had to cancel due to COVID. I cancelled a week in advance to the flight. I attempted to use the credit today. 3 agonising hours of phone calls between Flight Centre departments and Virgin Airlines later, finally they'll grant me the credit which they provided me in writing via email. BUT only to inform me there is a cancellation fee for the original flight in February which is almost exactly equivalent to the credit they provided me. Insane how many stores around Australia they have open. This is a scam. Never use Flight Centre I promise it's not worth it if you ever need to cancel a flight. If you're a Flight Centre employee reading this, don't respond I'm not interested. Do something better with your life, find a job that contributes to the greater good of the world. If you're a content removal specialist or lawyer reading this, consider if you're really comfortable sleeping at night removing the valid criticism of wealthy corporations who exist off the exploitation of people struggling to make ends meet. It's never too late to change.

Fantastic experience: We originally had no intention of buying tickets to the USA and internal flights from a travel agent. Been overseas heaps of times and just did my own purchase, pain in the butt but thought I always saved $$$. This time around had issues with my internet and thought would check into the local flight centre at chaddy. Was surprised how competitive prices were and in fact i think it was cheaper than doing it myself. No headaches as well, we ended up doing the accommodation through them as well. Very happy

Fantastic experience: I got flight tickets booked at Flight Centre Chadstone with Chole Lang, Travel Consultant. I find Chole is very helpful throughout the booking process. After that, I emailed her for a couple of further enquires, her response is always very prompt!

Negative experience: My son went to book flights and the cost was $400 more that the Flight Centre website. The explanation he received made no sense. I complained and received this response. The Flight Centre pricing structure means that airfares bought in our stores are generally higher than those on our website. This is intended to contribute towards the increasing costs of running bricks and mortar stores and also takes into account the personalised service the customer will receive from the agent in making and maintaining the booking, which as you state is not often the case when booking online. Is this worth $400?

Negative experience: Went to Flight Centre Chadstone to book a return ticket to Bail and a hotel there before EOFY. A staff member told me there was a system breakdown and she can only check the price for me but cannot book it. YOU REALLY NEED TO FIX YOUR IT SYSTEM.

Fantastic experience: I called Chloe with a dilemma about how I was going to get from A to B and she was incredible!! She discussed a few different options that I hadn’t even considered and was so helpful!!

Negative experience: If I could rate 0 star I would. I attended Chadstone flight centre in March 2023 and I dealt with Chloe L to assist us in booking our trip to Europe this summer. She was initially very helpful, took down dates etc and helped with flights/accommodation. Chloe said she would email us that evening with a further itinerary to avoid us waiting in store. I didn't hear anything back, assuming she was busy. I emailed later that week to follow up. No reply. I attended Chadstone flight centre the following week as I hadn't heard anything back. Chloe apologised and said she had been busy, she booked us an appointment in store for the next day. That day we booked and 'held' accommodation, flights, cars etc. After an hour in store she said she would email us further details that evening. Again, I didn't hear back. I emailed Chloe a few days later to follow up. I received an automatic reply saying she was out of office. I am still waiting to hear back (3 months later). Luckily we didn't wait for Chloe! We ended up seeing Dean at Southland Flight centre who has been absolutely incredible! He is extremely professional and gets the job done! Flight centre Chadstone have been an extreme disappointment and I would hate what we had to deal with, to happen to anyone else.

Negative experience: Store not open, mark it closed so we don't waste time coming. No indication on maps or your website

Negative experience: (off-peak time) Waited for 15 minutes just to see someone. Was served by Katie who was lovely at first. However, after two searches told us she couldn’t give us a quote if we were not 100% going to make a booking in-person. Stating that she must prioritise a customer who was more likely to give her “commission”. Props to her for being honest but don’t waste your time here.

Negative experience: Absolutely awful customer service at Chadstone, staff not willing to help and then asked to leave as there was a line at the door? I was currently sat down enquiring so why am I not staff’s priority… would not recommend going there at all.

Negative experience: Worst customer service ever wouldn’t touch these guys , poor knowledge base of travel . Guess the CEO is still making a packet of money and not educating there staff . More then ever these guys should be offering 100% plus customer service but instead they rather play on there phones , just lost 10k worth of travel today

Negative experience: incompetent + irresponsible + lazy staffs! It shouldn't be called "travel agency". They don't know anything! 27/12/22 I went there to book the cruise. The lady who served me couldn't do it and she said she will sort it out and get back to me tomorrow but I never heard anything from her. 07/01/23 I went back to book the cruise. I've been waiting for an hour to be served. Then the other lady served me. She couldn't even find the cruise I wanted to go. So, I physically had to find it for her! She doesn't have any idea how to book too. She said she will ask her senior staff and was told to come back 30mins later. I waited for half an hour and went back. She still doesn't know how to do it and said she needs to call somewhere on Mon morning and promised that she will get back to me by Monday. ( I could book from the cruise company's official website but the price shown on the Flight centre was better) 09/01/23 Monday She didn't get back to me. I emailed her but she still didn't get back to me. 10/01/23 Tuesday I physically went there again on Tue afternoon. Shop was very quiet! The same lady said, "sorry, we were fully booked so couldn't get back to you". (So, if you are busy, you just ignore your other customers. What a great service!) Then she said, the cruise you were looking at is unavailable now. It was still available. I had to find and showed it to her. (I thought she's the one who's working at the travel agency! Can't believe she can't even find it. Why does she work there?) Then, she spent so long to search something. I asked her, did you call them and ask? She said yes, they said I have to book it from the official website! ??? I don't think she called them and she's lying! Why couldn't she tell me at the beginning then? I can book it from the official website too! I visited there 3 times and wasted my time but no one could book the cruise and they never get back to you! I went to another travel agency after that and they booked it for me easily! They said, there's cruise wholesalers and all the travel agencies get the prices from there, not from the official website! So, that lady was lying! Don't go to the Flight centre Chadstone! They know nothing and they are very irresponsible!

Negative experience: I needed to book a flight due to a jetstar voucher reaching it's expiry date.Looked flight centre opening hours and 2 of the stores that were "open " were in fact closed for business for good.Waited on call for 10 mins to find out stores that were in fact open and was cut off at the end

Negative experience: Some of the staff are incompetent - so it is luck of the draw! We arrived at our prepaid destination and flight centre confirmed booking (?) only to find that 3 quarters of the rooms had not been booked. And we were a party of 20. Thank you Mantra staff for sorting out some basic accommodation Then it was battle to get any recognition, refund, let alone compensation. Flight centre brand destroyed for me.

Negative experience: ***Never Again*** My family recently booked a 5 day tour trip to Perth with Flight Centre here branched in Chadstone. Our corresponding agent was Ziggy Lewis who was our primary and first point of contact responsible for organising this tour for us. What should have been a beautiful holiday and adventure with family and friends, ends up resulting to be a huge nightmare of dreadful confusion and major disappointment in having missed 3 tours in our holiday package. The first major red flag which should have not happened in the first place with such a renowned and reputable company such as Flight Centre is the that the tour package and itinerary never came detailed with any business contact information, dates, times and location of meeting and appointments scheduled for our trip to run smoothly and organised professionally for a well and good time for our first time here in Perth. When we landed and arrived in Perth there was no initial contact to welcome us and prepare for our journey ahead. We waited for confirmation and planners to have scheduled this ahead but there was just lots of angst in waiting until the next morning. To add to this dilemma, Ziggy had booked a small taxi to transfer all 6 of us family and friends to ensure a health and safety journey to our hotel. To our surprise, we could not all fit in. We the four had to pay for our own transfer there. Second day of Perth, still no contact or any information regarding our tours, until we headed down to our hotel lobby for breakfast and at that point, the tour representatives gave us a quick call to inform us sporadically of our meeting point and time of departure. At this point, we had to cut our breakfast and made a rush to the location. This seemed far from paradise as when we finally made our arrival, the tour guides has informed us that only 2 people out of 6 were only listed to be in attendance. We had previously informed Ziggy that 6 people were to travel together and that was made very clear before our holiday was booked and our tour to go ahead. When the tour guide made a call to enquire about this on the day, his company had informed that several people had been booked for different dates. Several months in planning a trip together with Ziggy prior to our trip, only to have us there separated to different dates of our tour. The second disappointing factor and most regrettable event regarding our holiday tour was our most anticipated Rottnest Island adventure. We ended up missing the bus with the tour guide and eventually had to pay for our own entry out of pocket there which anyone with a conscientious mind would have thought that this was to be already included in our holiday package. This whole holiday ordeal booked with Ziggy became a total disaster of what should have been a nice and relaxing time in Perth, now holds a much dear resentment and unforgettable time unwell spent. I hope our bitter and disheartening experience with Flight Centre can shed some light on how unprofessional and unorganised some of the agents working with this company can be. This has now made us all turn our backs against Flight Centre. We will never recommend this company to any of our family and friends ever again.

Negative experience: If I could these guys a solid 0 it wouldn’t be enough! Booked my flights with a Chloe lang! Flight got cancelled November 2021! We are at October 2022 and they won’t refund me the money I paid! They keep telling me to call the call center! And they keep referring me to the store! If you want to feel like a soccer ball in preparation for the World Cup, book with these mobs!

Negative experience: 3 out of 4 staff on today are not interested in helping clients. Even though none of them were with any client or on calls, I was told that appointment is essential. Excuse me! Appointment essential in a shopping centre??? Even Cartier does do so!

Fantastic experience: After being on the phone half a dozen times and not getting anywhere with my booked flights , I decide to go into store to rectify my issues. I can’t tell you enough how a very bad experience flipped into me making this review. I can’t thank Niki Leonardos enough for turning a very bad experience into a good one . Thank you for cleaning up someone else’s mess . Will definitely be going back to see her with any future travel plans

Positive experience: Molly Hickman, the senior flight consultant based at Chadstone has been absolutely amazing! The assistance and guidance she provided me for the best possible result, has been outstanding throughout. Couldn't have gotten better! Thanks heaps Molly! You're a GEM !!!

Fantastic experience: Marina & Matthew - great customer service. My query was resolved within minutes and loaded with the information I required. Keep up the good work!

Negative experience: Went and popped into the store on a Saturday to be advised that by Chloe that they were understaffed and unfortunately couldn’t assist us, but could spare a few minutes to get us a few brochures. Chloe then gave us her business card to email and said she’d respond within three business days, from when we came in store which was on the 14 May to which we were completely understanding and grateful for the few minutes Chloe could spend with us. However, We have still not heard from Chloe, even after following up. We’ve emailed on the 15 May, 19 May, 22 May and 24 May and the 29 May - and haven’t heard from her at all. We have since, called the store, no answer and send a text to Chloe on the Wednesday 25 May to simply ask if she can at least acknowledge our request or even let us know if she had the capacity to help us. Nothing. My husband and I have always had a good experience from Flight CENTRE but have been incredibly disappointed by the lack of service or just acknowledging you have our request. We have since had to book our honeymoon elsewhere and independently.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous customer service from Molly who was just a delight to deal with. I was having difficulty changing a flight and Molly was so attentive and caring and solved my issue quickly. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Had a great first visit in person and got the info I needed then got worried as the booking wasn't showing on my Qantas profile or didn't receive my itinerary. Unfortunately my agent wasn't replying to my emails so ended up calling, my frequent flyer wasn't in which is why I couldn't access any info. Now the date of my departure looks wrong on the ticket and I am still waiting for someone to email me back. Any chance I can transfer to a different agency? I have one much closer to home and would feel more comfortable

Negative experience: Having to spend more money on international calls since the emails have gone quiet. Due to Covid we booked through Flight Centre to ensure we have extra help and communication for when we are overseas. Now we are overseas, ignored and ripped off. And please don’t respond with the customer relations spiel, the phone number doesn’t work.

Negative experience: Worst Customer service ever. We got charge an extra $1000 to book our flights in comparison to what I could find online but went with a Travel Agent as we thought they might help us during the height of covid. When we tried to change the date, which they said they would help us with when we spoke to them at Chadstone, they couldn't help us and could only find flights that were more expensive. I went to the Airline directly and they changed the date for us at no extra charge. We then wanted to change our itinerary, and offered to change our flight to a much cheaper destination but that was only possible at an extra cost of $600 per person. Now we have tried to cancel our flights to change the itinerary ourselves but Flight Center Chadstone has not answered any of our 20 phone calls over the past 2 weeks and are not responding to emails. Even tried calling Customer Service relations but that number also isn't going through. Extremely dissapointed in the "customer service" that we have not received. Flight Center is a SCAM, book flights yourselves instead, much cheaper and easier.

Negative experience: I am beyond disappointed today. What would you feel if you found out upon checked in that you don’t actually have a flight booking. At first I thought it was just some prank but unfortunately there’s no booking under our names.WHAT A JOKe! We have all our print out from airline reservation code, cover insurance and captain package. Even the emergency helpline didn’t manage to help us with our flight. What’s the use of paying extra for this type of service? I’ll get to the bottom of this soon

Fantastic experience: We visited the Chadstone flight centre today and were helped by the fabulous Niki. Words can not describe her attention to detail, time management and fantastic deals. Niki was professional, friendly and an absolute delight to deal with. As ex travel agents ourselves, our expectations were exceeded and all travel will now be booked with Niki and her team every time.

Negative experience: You have to always chase them for information and they will never call you back. They always give excuse that they are under staffed.

Fantastic experience: Leading up to our wedding in Feb, 2022 we still hadn't booked a honeymoon as travel still felt a little uncertain and we weren't sure what would be possible. As the date got closer we decided to book an appointment at Flight Centre Chadstone to see what our options. We were welcome by Molly Hickman who was friendly, knowledgable and super helpful. Molly helped guide us, offering suggestions and listening to our wish list, budget and timeframe. Our honeymoon was wonderful! Hamilton Island was absolute paradise. From the flights, accommodation and transfer to and from our hotel, each step ran smoothly seamlessly. Thank you Molly, for making our honeymoon memorable and stress free. Negative experience: Everyone appears busy, even with only a few customers around. Follow up not so great. I really missed the experienced professional staff from years gone.

Negative experience: Felt ignored, ended up booking everything myself online, thought it would be easier booking with a travel agent and with the effects of Covid-19 I figured I would try support an industry that took a financial beating over the last two years, staff i guess have become complacent and have forgotten they work in an industry that requires good customer service to all it’s customers. Wish I could rate their service but I didn’t get it.

The customer service queue goes on for hours with no response back and there is no email/chat to even reach out. Fantastic experience: I have booked two holidays through Molly and both were amazing. She was extremely friendly, knowledgable and made the entire process easy. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about a holiday to book through her!

Fantastic experience: When our travel plans had to change due to the health of one of our travelling party, Mollie Sinclair was amazing and turned what could have been a really heart breaking situation into a solution. Her sensitivity and high standards of customer service saved the day and provided some comfort in a difficult time. We will be back!

Negative experience: Very poor service. They stuffed our travel dates completely on the itinary. Costed us a lot of time and effort to have them rectify their own mistakes. Would not recommend.
