Fantastic experience: We are currently on our 10 year wedding anniversary in the Maldives booked by Sam. Everything has been perfect, the Adaaran Water Villas that she booked are amazing. I never realised how many resorts are over here. After talking to guests that are on their 34th trip to the same resort, they said you definitely choose the right one. I had a few issues with my health after booking my flight and I was quite upset having to change the travel date twice. Ash was so understanding and helpful. Fantastic experience: Thanks to flight Centre Townsville they had put me in a hotel for the night in Perth as I had my flight cancelled from brisbane to Perth and was stranded in Perth and had to get my Esperance flight re booked if it wasn't because of them I wouldn't have gotten to where I had to go virgin airline had lied to me and didn't wanna support me as they recon they had gotten me to my destination when they didnt

Fantastic experience: I had an exceptional experience with Flight Centre Townsville, thanks to their outstanding team. As a female solo traveler, my journey took an unexpected turn when I ended up in the hospital and needed to return to Townsville urgently. I reached out to Riki-Lee outside of business hours, and she responded incredibly quickly. Despite the original flights being non-reschedulable, Riki-Lee went above and beyond by coordinating with Stu to find a solution. Due to SIM issues abroad, I was unable to contact Stu directly, but he made sure to work with a family member of mine to handle the arrangements. The level of care and consideration shown by both Riki-Lee and Stu was remarkable. Their service was prompt, personal, and genuinely supportive during a stressful time. Within a few hours, I received the flight details via email. Even after my return home, Stu continued to assist me by helping gather the necessary documents for my travel claim, demonstrating their commitment to excellent service beyond the immediate crisis.

Negative experience: i went to get a bulk booking quote which is about 52 return flights for one year but a guy over there seems not interested to give me a quote he didn’t even gave me options he just simply replies me and doesn’t care at all i think it’s better to call flights centre online and get booking done . very disappointing and unprofessional

Fantastic experience: AMAZING Customer service from Maddy Smedley, I highly recommend this person! Very compassionate, understanding, patient, I felt as tho I was being understood. As someone with autism, I had to have things explained in HEAVY detail. Maddy was 100% with me all the way, very sweet. Was amazing when looking for the best price and ensuring that it was overall what i wanted. I 100% Recommend her service, she will treat you nicely and make you feel heard. Negative experience: Am not shocked reading other review, wish I checked before booking with this store. I have always used Flight Centre to book flights and have never had an issue till now. Staff could not be less helpful and rude. I was very stressed about paying for a flight before quote expired and I was told I was not a prority.

Fantastic experience: I have booked with flight centre on several occasions and always have a good experience. Sometimes things are out of their hands but they always do their best to assist me. My most recent travel agent Nina goes above and beyond to follow up on issues and to get me the best deals possible. She's always willing to help and answer the million questions I have. If you're booking a big multi destination trip its great to have an agent who you can reach out to when things go wrong. Nina has been awesome for that!

Negative experience: Attended and requested brochures on a trip to Canada/Alaska/USA. Was asked when I intended on travelling and I said ‘probably 2025 if not 2024’. The young girl said they don’t give out brochures for travel that far away. I explained that I’m simply wanting information on some available options and to get an idea of cost. She went on to say they don’t have many brochures left so they don’t want to give them out! I was blown away by that as I could see the brochures behind the counter. I was then asked to confirm if I was going to book with Flight Centre to which I again explained that it is only early days and that I was simply wanting to explore all my options by gathering information to research tours and pricing. I said that if they couldn’t even provide that information or satisfy a basic and reasonable request I would certainly not book with them! The girl just smirked and shrugged her shoulders as I left. Absolute Rubbish customer service and unwilling to assist. Won’t be booking with them.

Negative experience: Reading the google reviews below which all address the customer service, I'm now not so shocked with the level of communication and customer service received from Flight Centre Townsville. Was not informed of the terms and conditions of my flight, did not receive a response from my travel agent for weeks and weeks on end. Extremely disappointed considering how many times I've dealt with flight centre in the past.

Negative experience: Terrible Customer Service went last weekend got told there is a 10 min wait. I waited over and hour and nothing. So made a booking for this weekend for 12.30 with Jxxxx got there at 12.20 never got acknowledged, so sat down and waited as yhe 3 booking agents were all busy. Proceded to wait another 45 minutes and still no sign of acknowledgement so have walked out for the 2nd time. Guess they do want the business. I understand you busy but simple, acknowledgement and maybe let the client know how long the wait is.

Negative experience: Poor customer service. Did not get back to us with informed or the quote. I asked what was included in the package and was told just to Google it later because she didn't know. I needed to follow-up 3 times. Before I went elsewhere.

Very difficult flight to book , he was very informative , professional and helpful, managed to book the perfect flight for my old dad from Italy to Australia . Andrew gave me some extra help and suggestions to make the flight easier for my dad that usually nobody offer ! Highly recommend !

Negative experience: Unfortunately I am reading only now the negative reviews, and sadly I have had the same experience as other travelers. Months ago I asked for a proposal for a trip for a group of six people, my family. I had some solutions in response and asked for clarification before deciding. The answer came late, the following week. The solutions were no longer available. Others have been introduced to me. Same problem. I complained and realized that the person who was supposed to help us only worked a few days a week. I called several times, but the answers always came late. I was also told not to panic, they would call me back within the day. Of course it didn't happen. We booked with a much higher cost than the initial proposal. I asked to change contact person. But we didn't have any luck either. Higher costs, late responses, errors in passenger names in bookings, inability to solve problems associated with a simple booking. I wanted to extend the vacation, but I realized it was better to do it by myself. Never again with Flight Center. They told me on every phone call that they couldn't answer quickly because they had a lot of job requests. However, the problem must not fall on the customer. Maybe they could organize their staff activities better. I am not interested in solving the problem now, I will no longer use Flight Center and strongly advise others to do the same.

Negative experience: With not a single person in store I was still made to wait while 4 or 5 staff sat behind their desks with their heads down. A few looked up but did not even take the time to acknowledge I was in the store. Then when I was finally asked 'can I help you'? I asked to make a time to come and book a holiday... Well that was all too hard apparently.... I came to book a group holiday... you would have known that if you took the time to talk to me.. what happened to customer service?

Negative experience: Once you've paid your money no help at all - will not respond to emails once you've left the country. If you need to change your flights beware - the international airlines you are flying with will not assist apart from referring you to contact your travel agent. Good luck with that. Upon return, a phone request to have an appointment with the manager was met with a reasonable "she is busy and will ring you back" After a week and another phone call, the staff member reluctantly put me through. She did not want to make an appointment unless there is an "outcome" to any discussion. I have since noticed a similiar review 3 months ago.

Negative experience: Have waited 3 weeks to have someone ring me from this store re a changed booking. (Got an email saying 'Your booking has been changed but we can't tell you how - ring us.') Phone queues of 30 mins, then it hangs up on me. Happened several times. Emails not responded to. Will go elsewhere next time.

Negative experience: Both yesterday and today have spent over 20 minutes each time phoning 2 different stores within Townsville and on neither occasion can get anyone to answer.
Sorry to see your review Nicky and that you have had trouble getting in touch with the stores. Because we can all finally travel again, our agents are dealing with huge enquiries numbers. The best option is to book on our app or website or pop into a store and make an appointment.
