Fantastic experience: This was the first time for me in using Flight Centre at Mt Ommaney after it was recommended by a friend. The consultant (James) was brilliant in his service and delivery in assisting with the organising of my european holiday. Even returning to the store 5 months later he remebered who I was and what I was doing. Definatley will go back there again in the future.

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointed – Would Not Recommend Flight Centre My experience with Flight Centre has been extremely disappointing. Our cruise was cancelled due to Cyclone Alfred, and despite having paid four months before departure, it’s now been about six weeks and we still haven’t received our refund. Meanwhile, friends who booked directly with the cruise line received their refunds within just three days. The delay from Flight Centre has been incredibly frustrating. What’s worse is that I recommended Flight Centre to my friends, and now we’re all dealing with this unacceptable situation. I expected a far more efficient and reliable service from a company that presents itself as a travel expert. This experience has completely shattered my trust in them.

Fantastic experience: My family and I had the best experience booking our holiday with Jesse at Mount Ommaney Flight Centre. We had a family emergency and we had to return home, he got us on the next flight out and even got us a refund on our other flight. Jesse is professional and efficient and I won't book with any other Consultant. Highly recommend Jesse!!

Negative experience: ⭐ -5/5 DO NOT BOOK YOUR HOLIDAYS WITH THEM! My experience with Flight Centre has been beyond frustrating. My flight was cancelled because the airline collapsed. After contacting the airline directly, I learned that Flight Centre, as the booking agent, needs to initiate any request for as a creditor for any sort of possible compensation if any. I’m not even expecting the money—I just want to see the necessary steps being taken and some transparency so I know they’ve done everything possible. But that hasn’t happened at all. While they did eventually secure the remaining refunds of the activities and the stay, it only happened after numerous follow-ups on my end. My assigned agent, Dominique, is either away, sick or unavailable, and every time I call, I have to re-explain the entire situation. The answer I get? “She’ll help when she’s back.” Meanwhile, no one else is taking any responsibility. I’ve had to follow up so many times, and each time, it’s just another runaround with no real answers. I shouldn’t have to chase down customer service for them to do their job! Flight Centre may handle simple bookings, but when real issues arise, they lack accountability and professionalism. As I have told them on email Real customer service means stepping up when things go wrong, not just coasting when it’s easy. If I could give negative stars, I would. Plan your holiday with someone else—Flight Centre is clearly incompetent and unreliable unless you’re giving them an easy task of just booking your tickets. I’m scared they’ll mess that up too, just do it yourself.

Unfortunately, due to industry demand, and in this case, the fact that there will have been thousands of customers affected, the airline may have had a longer processing time due to the volume of refund requests coming through. Negative experience: Never ever leave bad reviews but extremely disappointed with my visit today. I have a gift card expiring soon that I wanted to use as part of my payment for some accommodation. Can’t use Flight Centre gift cards online so was advised to go into a branch, to find that the same exact accomodation is an extra $400 on their in store booking system, when I asked why the hefty price difference since it was all through Flight Centre I was told that I’m paying for an in person professional booking service (a simple same state hotel booking mind you) and that “if I want the cheaper rate I can call and get someone from the Philippines”. Little did he know I am actually part Filipino and found this kinda rude - not to mention upon calling the call centre (after 8 calls to different 1300 numbers to find someone who could take my money) a kind Filipino advised me that they could not do the cheaper price either and it was the same rate as in store. Haha! So in order to use my gift card I must pay hundreds of dollars extra than Flight Centre’s very own app and website pricing. I am going to throw my gift card in the bin it’s not worth it with these people extremely outdated service look elsewhere for much much better rates and customer service!

Dominique is my main agent and she is fantastic. She knows her stuff, always friendly and approachable, always goes the extra mile to find the best deals on flights and hotels to suit my needs whether that be timing, location, ratings, personal rooming preferences, etc. If she doesn’t know something, she’ll research it for me and find out the info I need. Fantastic experience: Thanks to Flight Centre Mt Ommaney, my daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful trip to New Zealand's South Island. Our travel consultant, Amiee Luffman, was knowledgeable, professional and friendly throughout the planning stages, helped us reality check what was possible with the budget and time we had available, and assisted us to put together a great itinerary. Apart from our initial meeting, all contact was online which saved us a lot of time. Amiee was sure to check hotels and tour options with us before booking. We received an updated itinerary whenever a change was made and the payment process was quick and easy. During the trip itself everything went smoothly, no unexpected hiccups with flights, vehicles, hotels or tours. Negative experience: While the staff were relatively friendly if a bit slow to respond at times, most of the accommodations booked for us were substandard. We kept hoping it would get better as we moved from place to place but it got so bad we ended up renting different accommodations ourselves for our last two major stops, basically throwing the money for our existing bookings away. We checked and some places flight centre had booked us in were rated poorly in TripAdvisor, and our experience matched these reviews. Wish we had checked earlier but we trusted flight centre. We will never deal with this company again. Edit: Booking places such as the ones in the photos is unacceptable, period. Leaks, filth/mould, broken appliances, tiny rooms, sloping floors, vermin, no ventilation, insecure areas of town etc. Multiple of these issues existed at most places booked by FC, and matched complaints in tripadvisor.

Negative experience: Warning!!! Don’t use flight centre. No customer service. They take your booking /money and then not interested in providing the service and information for your trip. I have had to call every day for the last week and after 5mins of no response they hang up the phone. Don’t book over phone/email as all the stores are separate and if you can’t get to that store you can’t pick up your items or see them in person. Best not to use them. I will never use them again. After trying for 2 weeks a few months ago every day to contact the store, I sent feedback and their standard response time is 4 weeks. Avoid the pain, Im still waiting for my itinerary.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the service. The travel agent was very slow or sometimes didn't respond to emails. Wasn't really helpful in providing us information for our cruise. Day before cruise was still asking for our personal details, which we had previously provided.. Wouldn't go there again

Positive experience: Seemed oddly uninterested in providing any information. Went for a flight quote and despite multiple attempts by us to prompt the consultant for a quote, they seemed relatively uninterested. Asked a question about group bookings, and was told that they didn't work for group bookings, so couldn't provide any information for us. The interaction was personable but was left a little bewildered as to the business model, as we left five minutes later with nothing achieved. Went to an alternate provider and had all questions sorted quickly.
Negative experience: Poor service! Literally looked us up and down at the door and when we enquired about a trip, staff grabbed our details and said they would get back to us with the best deals, sending us on our way. It took days to get back to us (already booked with another organisation in the meantime) and the quote we received from Flight Centre was extensively more than what they said they could do it for/ what the rep displayed to us on the screen that day. Wouldn't recommend waisting your time and hard earned cash. Booking online is better value and service than these lot.

I just find buying the ticket directly on line from air line is best and safest and cheapest and they are more responsible . do not trust any word from them they are a big liers buy you thicket direct from air line for best deals and price .

Negative experience: Quite annoyed with the service, went to the airport at the first of the month and was told that I was not booked on any flights as the agent stuffed the whole thing and double booked my returning flight. Called to sorted it out was told “ I will get back to you” still have heard back from my agent after countless calls.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Dominique Newell for a job well done!! From the time I sat down at her desk last week, I felt very comfortable with Dominique. She gave me all the information I needed as well as reassurance around the possiblities of flight cancellation due to mandatory lockdown and illness. Even after my sisters flight was booked, Dominique continued to send us reminders and an email about a gate change. During these times of unease and uncertainty around travel, its really important to have people like Dominique, in the travel industry, who has amazing communication skills and awesome customer service. Fantastic experience: The worst news this morning , that FLIGHT CENTRE , MT OMMANEY will lose JAMES SPENCER due to staff reductions . The effort that this young man put into giving his customers a great service is second to none and beyond me why anybody would want to lose this man even in these times. He should be an investment for the future of any company . I'm sure someone will snap him up in no time. Good luck JAMES , and thank you again for your incredible service . Fantastic experience: My wife and I have had the debacle of travel like so many others and James Spencer was given our file to deal with. I would like to say that he has handled everything with such professionalism and courtesy that put our minds at ease from the beginning. He knows his job very well (unlike others we've dealt with from the same company). I think Flight Centre have made a big mistake by making him redundant. He is an absolute credit to the company and are crazy to let him go. But it is what it is and we would like to wish James the best in his future endeavours. Fantastic experience: a business is only as good as its front line troops and James Spencer is the best I have dealt with since I started to travel in 1967. My only regret is that I did not find him till 5 years ago. Since then he has made my travel plans easy to manage and has also save me on unnecessary purchases whilst ensuring that I was well protected and had everything we needed for a good safe holiday away . Fantastic experience: Have always used Flight Centre Mt Ommaney. Nicole always assisted us to find great deals and the best flights. Then when covid struck and she was displaced James looked after us and got all our refunds for cancelled flights, car hire etc. I hope both of these great people get there jobs back when everything returns to normal.

Fantastic experience: James Spencer has only recently been handed our file and despite not having any background on our disrupted travel plans, he quickly became aware of what is required and the timing of events for processing. He reassured me that he would be following up on all dates and refund processing of our international bookings. James has instilled confidence in us that our travel cancellations will be handled efficiently, compassionately and with due concern for our circumstances, despite the myriad of other travellers he is looking after. Negative experience: Went through a travel agency to avoid mistakes. My experience ranged from our particular agent often not being available through to tardy or not returned communications. It was neither enjoyable or reassuring. Due to our agent not bothering to check our (supplied) passport details, my granddaughter nearly got left behind at the airport because she didn't have 6 months before her passport expired. Only found out by accident. When I contacted another agent (mine wasn't in), who was much more competent and alert, she advised me on what to do to facilitate a renewal and refunded the rapid application fee. She was very good and very helpful. 5 stars to Lisa.

Fantastic experience: First time using this travel agency and our agent Jared was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He found us the lowest airfares to the UK and we were so thrilled at what great value they were. He spent so much time with us over the phone finding us the best options for the flights and then months later spent half an hour over the phone again making sure we were happy with our seat selection. Will definitely go back to Jared to book our future holidays.

Fantastic experience: Karl was fantastic to deal with. We came across a deal on the net whilst we were overseas and asked if he would price beat it. Sent him the screenshots of the deal via email and he honoured the price beat policy. He then proceeded to do the booking, got child meals for the kids without us even asking. Karl even retrospectively accepted Flight Centre gift vouchers I got via Youi and credited back the money I had already paid.
Negative experience: Wanted a quote for me and my partner ended up getting a quote for 4 people ....Not what I wanted. Last timed I booked the same Girl couldn't help me with a visa information. thanks not a happy customer.
