Negative experience: I find Jordan Campbell wasn’t helpful at all I come in there today to book flights and accommodation wth Disneyland and theme parks to do multiple trips around Asia he told me flight Center don’t deal with Disney when it’s all over flight Center Facebook page and website I have dealt with flight centre Blacktown who was very helpful and I will say I spoke wth sand yesterday who was so helpful and found me all my flights wth in 35mins so that’s why I come into Penrith ground floor flight Center to hope I could of sort out my itinerary all out today but was given the cold shoulder which I find very sad on Jordan’s behalf since I have been emailing him regarding my trip and got told he was gunna call me yesterday at 10.30 but got nothing

Fantastic experience: Walking into Flight Centre Penrith we were greeted by the smiling face of Nicole McEvoy. After making enquiries about where we would like to go, she was very happy to help plan our trip to Fiji. After suggestions on different accommodation we decided to go to the Shangri La upon Nicole 's recommendation. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Fiji and we hope to continue our association with Nicole for our future travels. Her enthusiasm shows how passionate she is about her job. We have since returned to see Nicole and thank her very much for a wonderful holiday. Flight Centre should be very proud of her dedication.

Negative experience: Really poor experience for me. came into Flight Centre Penrith in August 2024 hoping to get some support and advice for a trip to Europe with my partner and sister. We paid in advance hoping to secure everything and have some ongoing communication regarding our trip. We have heard very little correspondence the entire time, we cannot get through on the phone, our point of contact is rarely in the store, no one else can locate our information, emails are not responded to and now we are 3 weeks out from our trip. I requested my trip information this week and it was sent the same day. Had I not requested it, would it have ever been sent? Issue 1 - Service is terrible almost non-existent Issue 2 - Our payment was lost and the remaining amount could not be confirmed until escalated to the store manager Issue 3 - Names on bookings have been spelt incorrectly leaving us feeling anxious our tickets would be wrong Issue 4 - My name is spelt incorrect in emails directed to me where my name is literally in the email address Issue 5 - We are apparently not sitting together on our flight and lucky to be on board. We called Qantas directly today and were advised the flight is actually over booked and that we would not be sitting together. This seems crazy that a trip booked in August 2024 results in us sitting apart. Issue 6 - We advised staff that one of the travelers has dietary requirements - this is not reflected in our booking which we have since rectified with Qantas and are attempting to contact My Cruises Issue 7 - We have observed that Rome is heavily booked out due to the time of year. Many trips we want to do are booked out. Should this not have been something Flight Centre should/could have advised us back in August? Issue 8 - We have not received an itemized itinerary that gives detail and instruction. All we have is email attachments forwarded to our inbox from the supplier. We might as well booked directly online. The whole thing is now an ordeal that has left us feeling anxious about our trip instead of excited
Sorry to see you’re not happy with your experience Kristylea, this is not how we want our customer's to feel.
Prior to confirming a booking, each customer is required to check their invoice, confirming their booking details and names are all correct before any payment is taken, or the booking is made. We can appreciate your frustration, but this is the stage where names are to be confirmed by the customer.
In regard to seating, these are always made on a request basis, as airlines do have the ability to detach seating requests from any booking if they deem necessary.
We'd highly recommend booking an appointment with your travel agent, as this will allow a guaranteed sit down with a consultant to talk about your holiday
Negative experience: Poor customer service. We explained our emergency situation and why we needed to change the departure date asap. We were told they couldn't help us and told us to go to the FC, where we bought the ticket Knowing the centre is closed for that day.

Fantastic experience: Sandy was excellent to deal with, very accomodating and very hospitable. I came in with the challange of booking an overseas trip only 1 week ahead of the depature date. It was also coming into school holidays. I have done this myself in the past and it has been very expensive and extremly stressfull. Sandy not only managed to secure all the flights, accomodation and activities we wanted to do at a reasonable price but also managed to have it all done within 2 hours. He made the process quick seamless and enjoyable for what normally takes me several nights and the constant stress of did i miss anything..... Even had a laugh or two along the way. I will be refering all my friends and family to him.

Negative experience: The absolute incompetence of their "senior travel consultant" is INSANE. I would never book with a travel agent from this company ever again, but if you ever decide to NEVER and I mean NEVER book a trip with Madi Maton. First of all she screws around my flight trips when i request to add in an extra destination at the start of the trip where instead of cancelling our first flight into NY and changing it to a flight directly into Canada like i requested (so we could get a refund on the first flight and use that towards the new flight) she claims its better to push back the original flight into NY and then take a round trip from NY to Toronto which ended up costing us an extra $1000 which she claimed would be "easier for us instead of refund and repurchase". Clearly just a money making tactic but I will let it slide because nothing is as bad as what she did next. When we changed the aforementioned flight change, she informed me that she added the round trip flight from JFK to YYZ, since we were originally flying into JFK. Now she had called me over the phone when we finalised this because of their ridiculous "give us 24 hours to see how to make changes and we will get back to you", so I never saw the printed itinerary when we booked 6 months prior but I confirmed multiple times over the phone that day asking for airports, flight times and flight dates. Then 5 days before we leave, my mother went in to get the final printed itinerary summary for us, when Madi mentioned to my mother that our flight to Canada actually did not leave from JFK like she said we were. This is when I take a look at the itinerary a few hours later because we specifically asked for a flight from JFK to YYZ. Turns out she had booked us a flight out of Newark, NEW JERSEY. Now, I could've forgiven a mistake on her end quickly reading Newark and thinking it said New York, but NJ and NY are COMPLETELY different states. And not only that but this "senior travel consultant" booked this flight out of Newark at 10am when we arrive at JFK at 7:30. Now I'm just an average traveller but any person with a brain can figure out that a 2.5 hour layover is risky because its such a short amount of time. This doesn't even take into account that JFK is one of the busiest and strictest airports in the world. And not only that but these two flights are with different carriers meaning we would need to collect and recheck our bags ourselves which makes a 2.5 hour layover completely unrealistic. But the genius that Madi is, she did not even book this connecting flight in the same airport, no. She booked it for an airport in a DIFFERENT STATE. So at this point I'm freaking out, and Im trying to get into contact with her. The phone lines aren't working for hours I am calling and when I finally get through to someone 3 hours later, they tell me she doesn't have time to talk to me. Then I explain she has messed up my itinerary, she's now suddenly available. I explain everything I've mentioned above and her only response was "oh but I told you it was a different airport". Like NO, you told my mother YESTERDAY, it was a different airport, not 6 MONTHS AGO when we booked it! Then she goes on to say, "oh but its fine, the airports are close to each other". And I say, "thats not the point, you have given us 2.5 hours to get off the plane, get our bags, somehow go the the next state over to re-check in and make our next flight". Her response: "Next state over? no its not." So I say "look at the itinerary, we fly into JFK in NYand you've booked our next flight out of Newark, NJ. NY and NJ are two different states". And Madi being the "senior travel consultant" that she is responds with "No they're not, they're the same state". Im sorry what?!?! Now at this point I am flabbergasted. I don't know about you but what "SENIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT" doesn't know that NY and NJ are different states?!! Calling herself a "senior" is embarrassing. She should really consider a new profession because I would fire my employee if this level of incompetence was presented to me.

Negative experience: I rang & the person said that they would get back to me with the answers that afternoon. To-date, the following week & still no reply. I rang again & of course 6 mins.later you get transferred to the store you want to speak to & after 7.5 mins I'm still on the phone waiting for a person to pick up, so I hang up.

Negative experience: My partner and I spent 2 hours planning our honeymoon in store today. When we received our quote we were told to have a think about it and to come back before 5pm or our quote will expire we went back at 3:15pm to be told they actually close at 3pm and everyone has gone home for the day and if we wanted to book we would have to re do the entire quote which would mean pricing would also change. This is incredibly frustrating as we travelled an hour down to this store spent 2 ours there which required in us paying for parking. Super unhelpful and will not be returning.

Negative experience: Was given the wrong information as to the food package and was told breakfast package not included as to we paid for the breakfast package to be told it was already included and Ashley never put any of the free items that was included on our package will never go with flight centre again as they cost us over $2000 more than we should of paid then contacted them in a email and no reply or apologies for the price we paid for a week trip on top of what we didn't get not happy at all give them a -100 do not use them it will cost you more money I am writing to you as you have told us the wrong information when we come to you for our holiday We book a trip to Fij We did ask you if we could book a food/drink package as for you had said we had to book once we arrive to the motel when we got there we was told no it should of been book with flight centre and was told the breakfast was already included and again you told us it wasn't so we paid for the breakfast package and also included was a $500 Fiji each adult to spend at the resort and you never mentioned it and there was 1 massage for each adult free as we never received it so it cost us extra money that we could is save as you done your job properly I now would like why this wasn't told to us and we paid $6903.49 this is not ok I am totally in disbelief that this has happen to us

Negative experience: Book else where and save money! They quoted me well over $9000 the the same tickets I was able to book with the airline for $2300! After booking countless flights with this company never did I expect this! Just go to the airline and book directly, there is no piont in booking with flight centre unless you like wasting money!

Negative experience: Can’t believe how we were treated. Walked in hoping to look at brochures and speak to someone for a cruise in October 2024 for our honeymoon. We looked online for anything, however it could only look so far ahead. Unfortunately we got to the door and we’re spoken to very rude by the woman telling us we would have to come back another time because they were all booked out. They was no notification in store or on their website about needing to make an appointment. We won’t be returning after how we were spoken to and go elsewhere that has better customer service!

Negative experience: What a nightmare! Avoid using this flight centre agency at all costs! Got in touch with the travel agent at this branch, Natasha Walsh, months before our expected trip departure date. Let's just say dealing with her was an absolute disaster. We're still waiting for her follow up email with our flight bookings which we expected to receive "within 2 business days" - it's now been 74 business days! Phone calls - don't even bother! No answer, ever! We were left waiting for weeks unsure if our flights had even been booked. All the while, our departure date approached ever closer and air fare prices increased. Ended up contacting another travel agency to book our flights. Then tried to call and email Natasha again on 5 different occasions without even the slightest acknowledgement from her. Numerous emails that haven't been replied to to date. Not even the common courtesy to inform us if she didn't want to be involved. Were we to rely on her, a month long trip would have been wasted. It was a frantic effort on our part in the end to try and piece together an itinerary for our month long Europe holiday. However the damage was done. Natasha had left us waiting too long and prices had skyrocketed. Disappointing and disgraceful.

Positive experience: The agent we used to deal with is sadly no longer there. I made a phone enquiry but felt the person I spoke with was a bit abrupt and condescending and advised we would need to book an appointment to deal with cruise enquiries so I booked my trip online with another operator. I would have preferred to do this in person but there is no point if the service is abrupt.

Negative experience: Made a phone call to them and spoke to a lady there who wasn't very helpful at all when I asked about people with walkers or wheelchairs and how they board a plane if the access is from the tarmac and there are stairs. The woman put the hold music on and then hung up...Rude rude rude

Negative experience: IV tried calling atleast 8 times in the past 2 weeks. I was put on hold for upto 20 minutes....then on comes the voice recording of "we can not take your call at the moment Please visit one of our stores! Not that easy for everyone to just go to a store Not everyone has easy access! Lost my service for my upcoming European trip!

Negative experience: I had never used a travel agent before but wanted to take Covid precautions, figuring they knew more than me. I wouldn’t use this store. The agent was nice in booking a flight and taking money, until the time I needed help. Through an issue in the destination country (which I googled, the agent didn’t know), I had to cancel the flights and change plans quickly. The emails I received were blunt short and uninterested, one let me know there were others more important than me as they were travelling first. I was advised I’d only receive a credit. I called customer relations who were great, profusely apologised and instructed the store to refund me. They advised further customer service training would be provided and I’d be called by the store to discuss outcome and refund. No call and automated emails to sort my refund. If you need peace of mind for your travels, I’d look elsewhere

Negative experience: If you want a relaxing trouble free holiday, avoid these guys and go to a real travel agent. I first traveled as an adult in 1983 and have traveled extensively for both work and pleasure since. This is the first time I have used Flight Centre and it is the most stressful trip I have ever had. On several occasions, other than my follow up, we would have missed key experiences that were important to us or even worse would have been left stranded in cities when we were already overseas with them failing to send the travel details of the travel we had rescheduled. The communication is extremely poor and even when we were overseas and had to email them to rectify issues, we constantly received email bounce backs from several people stating they were out of the office, often until times when it would have been too late to rectify the problem. When trying to rearrange things they did not listen to what we wanted and when we complained to get then to rectify the issues, they responded to irrelevant issues that we had not complained about and needed no resolution for, ignoring the relevant issues that needed addressing.

Even though I had booked my flight on line, the lady at the counter at the Flight Centre took on my case, managed to track my visa number down and saved me a lot of time. Really appreciated the time and care and helpfulness and can highly recommend this service.
