In this most recent trip , I needed to come home from Italy earlier than anticipated -Alpa made sure that this could be achieved in the best manner. My international calls to her were made at awkward times given the time difference , but Alpa did her best to achieve a good outcome for me -displaying excellent customer service . Fantastic experience: We recently returned from a 5 week holiday in Switzerland and Italy in September with stays in 6 locations (Zurich, Zermatt, Lake Como, Genoa, Rapallo and Milan). Travel between each destination was via train and Gabrielle and the team from Flight Centre Doncaster did a fantastic job in advising us and in organising and booking the accomodation and train transit dates and tickets etc. This was another great holiday Gabrielle has organised for us and everything went extremely smoothly without a single issue. Fantastic experience: Our trip to South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe was a once in a lifetime experience that far exceeded our expectations. It allowed us to get so close to the real Africa in terms of wild life and its wonderful citizens. The pre trip guidance of Adrian from Doncaster Flight Centre was a massive help in preparing us for what is an exciting trip. Our last stop in Dubai unfortunately had to be cut short because of a serious family health issue. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Flight Centre Manager Dylan who worked miracles to get us back home so quickly.

Apart from our international flights, Jessica sourced and booked over 25 internal flights, trains, buses and ferries all through Europe all of which worked out perfectly for us. Negative experience: Walked into the store on a Sunday and there were no customers. Dylan served me and was just not interested. I had come with the intention of making a full booking of my extended travel in Thailand, Hoi An and Halong Bay. After offering me some flight options, he refused to go any further till I had not decided and completed the bookings for the flight. Very poor customer service. He also said that he was not going to waste another 1.5 hrs if you were not going to book anything. There was no customers and all three agents were free and chatting away. Will never go back to that store again. I eventually booked my full trip online.

Negative experience: Booked a flight to Japan through this flight centre. Realised after booking/paying that the stop over had us arriving in Hanada and then leaving from Narita. Alerted flight centre when we realised but they took no accountability stating it was our fault for not reading quote properly. Even though they had not stated at any point that this would be occurring, if fact when we first started discussing travel agent said wouldn't do that. When asked if could skip osaka to Hanada flight and just take train to Narita, they said it would cost us over $300 extra per ticket and that they would not cover because there was 4hours between flights and that was enough time (even though we would need to collect and recheck luggage and take 2 hour train ride). Flight centre was helpful with organising JR rail pass vouchers, and there were no issues with those. IF YOU BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH THIS FLIGHT CENTRE PLEASE READ YOUR ITINERARY VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCEPTING ESPECIALLY JAPAN TRIPS (as there are 2 airports in tokyo) AS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE CHANGES ONCE ACCEPTED OR YOU MAY MAKE SAME MISTAKE AS ME.

Fantastic experience: Flight Centre as a bricks n mortar store has much benefit over a virtual travel agencies. Never more valued than when looked after by Agent Demi Thomas. Demi created a very open, calm & easy atmosphere despite the Doncaster office being very busy. She was patient, provided options, alternatives & suggestions which allowed me to weigh options before ultimately booking multiple sectors in the forward Business Class section with Singapore Airlines. I will definitely use Demi and Flight Centre again.

Fantastic experience: Demi deserves 100 stars, I could not recommend her highly enough. She has helped me book my flights for two trips in the past year with one being to Europe and the other one being to South America, which is not an easy task at all, yet Demi made it a breeze. Even in the lead up to my trip to SA I had some troubles with my visa and Demi was extremely helpful making phone calls and sending emails for me to try sort it out. Even when I was away on my trip and had a few questions Demi was so quick to reply. She does not just book your flights and then push you to the side, Demi gives you 110% of her time and service from the second you walk into flight center, all the way until you’re back in melbourne after your trip. I also know that this type of service isn’t common as I have heard some pretty bad stories from friends and family that have gone to other travel agents so I do not take Demis services for granted and neither should anyone else- if you have a upcoming trip TRUST me you wont regret going to Demi. Negative experience: Nothing like being excited to book our first family holiday. Going to flight centre in Doncaster. Being absolutely treated like we were an inconvenience. No greeting at the door, an agent came over who apparently was going on their lunch break and said we needed an appointment. There was no one in the store. It would have taken 10mins tops to book our flights. Appalling lack of customer service. Flight centre used to be top notch for customer service and it has gone downhill fast

Negative experience: The customer service is absolutely ridiculous. I walked in and no one say even good morning, they were very “busy” looking at their phones and computers.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the service. Got a rude response from the agent when he heard the budget we had allocated for the holiday, instead of trying to work with us to provide the best possible outcome. Not at all the customer service that I expected.

Negative experience: The other male staff on the counter just looked at me from head to toe, but the female staff, who had just finished her lunch, was more accommodating.
