Flight Centre Burleigh Town

Negative experience: We booked a Europe trip thru Donna @ Flight Centre, Burleigh...very disappointing service Donna...3 days in Rome, 9 day cruise, 3 days in Barcelona...5 days b4 leaving my wife injured her ankle, we contacted Donna, we asked if on the cruise there would be any tender boats, she said there wasn't, there were 2, when we arrived in Rome, the driver Donna booked was not there, Donna reassured me she would check all other transfers and confirm they would be there as booked, 2 days later no reply from Donna, I followed up with Donna, contrary to prior email reassurance that she would, Donna then stated I would need to confirm with the driver transfer company, we specifically requested accommodation and breakfast in Rome and Barcelona, in Barcelona Donna failed to organise it. Vehicle transfer information for Barcelona was poor, I had to make numerous calls for our transfer from the ship to accommodation, transfer was booked by Donna for 7:30 am, we were due to get off the boat at 9:20 am, when I requested assistance from Donna, nil reply. In our travel paperwork, the transfer from the Barcelona accomm to the airport was incorrect, we never received the updated documents, the booking reference did not work, we could not contact the transfer company and we were left guessing how and when we would be transported to the airport. We requested Donna organise wheelchair support for my wife, when we arrived at Barcelona airport, Donna stated she would organise it, they had no knowledge of this request. We requested a refund from Donna/Flight Centre for the driver that failed to transport us from the Rome airport to accommodation...many excuses made by Donna and to date, 2 weeks after getting back, the refund has not been received...very very disappointed....UPDATE...strange? interesting reply, how about you have a chat to Donna and have a look at the email comms between us...

Fantastic experience: Alexa helped me and my friends book a surfing trip to PNG. Flights, accom and insurance all under one roof and one itinerary. Everything was very organised and efficient. There was also excellent Australian based after hours assistance available via flight centre which was peace of mind for me. Couldn’t recommend Alexa and flight centre Burleigh highly enough.

Fantastic experience: We've had a great experience with Donna at Stocklands and Kiri from Robina in the past. We did a full trip over email with Kiri in 2023. Going in and seeing Donna in person recently however was efficient, smooth and she was super flexible. We're grateful for all of her help.

Fantastic experience: We can highly recommend Tenille she is knowledgeable, Fantastic, Fun, Bubbly and Enthusiastic. 3 Friends and I booked a NZ Road trip travelling from Auckland down to Queenstown. She nailed absolutely everything the car, accommodation, ferry, transfers, bookings and experiences, even researching a cultural night in Rotorua, which was incredible. Nothing was a problem assisting us on our travel day when our flights were rescheduled, Tenille went above and beyond to help. Negative experience: FC Burleigh are useless! They could barely do a simple task and they’re communication was appalling. I constantly had to ask for updates, which were mostly ignored. We lost a number of days on our holiday chasing them for seat allocations that never happened, despite us paying for them. They blamed everyone else for they’re errors and refused to take responsibility for they’re lack of carrying out simple requests. It took a visit to FC Burleigh on our return for the store manager to admit they had failed to do their job. While we were refunded the seat allocation fees, FC’s offer of compensation for time spent chasing them to do a basic job while we were on holidays was laughable. We will NEVER use Flight Centre again. I would highly recommend going elsewhere or booking your flights and accommodation directly with the airline and hotel yourself. Take my advice and avoid Flight Centre Burleigh at all costs.

Fantastic experience: Cant tell you how happy I am with meeting Emily at Flight Centre Burleigh Town. She has gone above and beyond in booking our 30th anniversary holiday to Dubai. Nothing has been a problem to her even with changing flights and adding another hotel. I am going to spread her name to friends and family. THANK YOU so much Emily for making my booking so easy .

Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of Tenille, what a legend. She went above and beyond and advocated for us in a really difficult situation. Her knowledge was obvious (and beneficial), she was a pleasure to work with. I’ll definitely be back to book my next holiday.

We were lucky to have Tenille from Flight Centre Burleigh to assist us in booking a number of flights and advising us on specific travelling details. Negative experience: Booked flights to the USA 4 months ago, and FC stockland forgot to do the seat allocation. For several weeks we asked for ticket information, but never received it, and when we finally did 2 days before travel we discovered that my wife and I had seats allocated, but not my daughter. FC claimed they were unable to do anything about it and that we should ask at the airport. They then claimed it was my fault because according to them, 4 months ago she offered us seating and we apparently choaevto take two only, because according to her we wanted to save the said $15. That's just ridiculous. What actually happened is that there was never a discussion about seat prices. She said she would combine the bookings and do the seating for us, but then she forgot. Forgetting is one thing, but refusing to fix it, blaming me is quite another. So now, instead of 3 of us occupying a row we are now seated next to a total of 3 other random potential Covid carriers. Thanks flight centre. Seriously, people. Just book your own flights and save yourself the rudeness and ineptitude from these people.

Negative experience: Not the best at all! Trying calling for one week nobory answer the phone! Leave a msg and nobody call me back! 9 day before my trip and I still dont have my seats booked my e-ticket,... Not using the service again.

Fantastic experience: Flight centre the pines shopping centre . Was amazing . I couldn't get a refund after covid hit . So why say that . Well the gentleman that booked the ticket did everything for me . Found the earliest and cheapest flight possible. Helped with the G2G pass . Redirects phone calls to stay focused on me . Then covid hit again , so I could not go . Devastated. So went back for a refund . Virgin has a policy. If the fight changes in any way . Most likely yes . But covid related. NO. But the young lady had noticed , that the reason for the flight was a funeral. She went above and beyond. Hours on the phone . Still with no success. But she tried so hard . I only ended up with a flight credit I will never use . And I will not be there for my best friends funeral. Sad ending . But No fault of theirs

Negative experience: Start of an awesome experience, upon paying nearly $8k it all went down hill from there. Lack of transparency to costs due and lack of travel details. Multiple requests for all my information to be sent through and each time I’m finding I still don’t have everything and have to keep requesting ALL documents. I’m so super disappointed right now. NEVER again will I book with flight centre. You have ruined my holiday that hasn’t even started.

Fantastic experience: I have a great travel agent at the Newmarket flight centre she is fabulous. Would recommend flight centre if doing an around the world trip. Really great at helping you get the best deal and finding great flights with quality Airlines. Have booked two previous multi stop trips with flight centre and will be using them for my next big trip.
